Description

Video resource pre-pushing method, device and system
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of video terminals, in particular to a method, a device and a system for pre-pushing video resources.
Background
In the process of pre-pushing, the pushing server sends a seed address (the seed address may also be understood as a download link) of a resource to be pushed to a P2P (Peer-to-Peer) uploading end, then the P2P uploading end uses the address to download a video resource on a CDN (Content Delivery Network) server, and when the video is played at late peak, the P2P downloading end can download the video resource from the P2P uploading end to play. If there is no pre-push, all the P2P download terminals need to download resources from the CDN server, which increases the load on the CDN server.
Therefore, in order to reduce the access amount of the CDN during the late peak time period of video viewing, reduce the access pressure of the CDN server, and save the CDN bandwidth cost, meanwhile, in order to improve the sharing ratio of the late peak P2P, some specific video resources may be pre-pushed to the P2P uploading end in advance, so that the sharing bandwidth of the P2P is improved during the peak time period, the download pressure on the CDN server (i.e., the seed server) is relieved, and the P2P download is assisted.
The P2P uploading end is mainly a client, the P2P downloading end is mainly a mobile device, the push server cannot distinguish the P2P uploading end due to the limitation of its own service and unidirectional limitation of the existing push flow, so a random selection mode is adopted, a certain number of P2P uploading end devices are randomly selected for pushing, the pushed P2P uploading end devices may not provide P2P uploading service due to the shutdown of the devices, the software is shut down and the like in the late peak period, on one hand, the waste of pre-pushed resources is caused, on the other hand, the online devices are not enough to meet the requirement of P2P uploading, so that part of the P2P downloading ends select to download video resources from the CDN server, and thus the access pressure of the CDN server is increased.
The existing pre-push system mainly pushes video resources to the client, the pre-push time period is day, and the download peak is usually between 7 to 11 pm. Through observing that only less than half of the clients which are usually online in the daytime are still online when the clients are online late, the pre-pushing server can not count the probability that the clients are online late and peak online late, so that a large amount of video resources which are pre-pushed in the daytime can not be used at the late peak, the situation of resource waste is caused, the effect of reducing the CDN access amount is not achieved in the late peak time period, the access pressure of the CDN server in the network equipment still exists, and the pre-pushing efficiency is reduced.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention.
An embodiment of the present invention provides a video resource pre-pushing method, which may specifically include the following steps, as shown in fig. 1, where a client may be a PC client, and a mobile terminal such as a mobile phone and a tablet computer.
Step 101, obtaining the online probability of each client, wherein the online probability represents the probability that the client is online in the daytime and the late peak hours.
And 102, pre-pushing video resources to the clients of which the online probabilities meet preset conditions in the clients based on the online probabilities of the clients.
By adopting the video resource pre-pushing method provided by the embodiment of the invention, compared with other clients, the client of the pre-pushed video resource is more likely to be online in the daytime and the evening peak time, so that the video resource is more effectively shared.
For the online probability of the client in the video resource pre-pushing method, in an embodiment of the present invention, the online probability of the client may specifically be determined by the following steps:
determining whether the client is online at the daytime time and the late peak time based on the time of uploading information of the client aiming at the daytime time and the late peak time of each day in preset days;
and dividing the number of days of online in the daytime period and the late peak period by the number of days of online in the daytime period to obtain the online probability of the client.
For example, for a certain client, taking 10 preset days as an example, in the 10 days, assuming that the number of days that the client is online in the daytime period and the late peak period is 7, and the number of days that the client is online in the daytime period is 10, the online probability is 7 divided by 10 to be 70%, assuming that the number of days that the client is online in the daytime period and the late peak period is 5, and the number of days that the client is online in the daytime period is 8, the online probability is 5 divided by 8 to be 62.5%.
For the video resource pre-pushed to the client whose online probability meets the preset condition in the step 102, it means that, for different clients, the video resource is pre-pushed to the client whose online probability is relatively high, specifically, the following two ways may be adopted:
the first mode is as follows: and pre-pushing video resources to the client with the online probability greater than the preset probability threshold value, for example, the preset probability threshold value is 85%.
The second mode is as follows: and pre-pushing the video resources to the clients with the preset number in the top sequence in each client according to the sequence of the online probability from high to low.
The video resource pre-push method provided by the embodiment of the invention is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the video resource pre-push method may be executed by a push server, as shown in fig. 2, and specifically includes the following steps:
step 201, obtaining the online probability of each client, wherein the online probability represents the probability that the client is online in the daytime and the late peak hours.
In this step, the online probability of the client may be determined in the above manner, and may specifically be determined by the traffic statistics server and sent to the push server, where the specific process may be as follows:
and the flow statistics server counts the online probability of each client and generates an online probability list, wherein the online probability list comprises a high probability list and a medium probability list.
The high probability list comprises clients of which the online probability is greater than a first preset probability threshold, and the medium probability list comprises clients of which the online probability is not greater than the first preset probability threshold.
Step 202, based on the online probabilities of the clients, determining the client with the online probability greater than a first preset probability threshold from the clients. For example, the client of the high probability list is determined from the online probability list.
And 203, pre-pushing a first hot video resource to the client with the determined online probability greater than a first preset probability threshold.
And step 204, pre-pushing a second hot video resource to the client with the online probability not greater than the first preset probability threshold value in each client. For example, a client that determines a medium probability list from the above online probability lists.
Wherein the hot degree of the first hot video resource is greater than the hot degree of the second hot video resource.
The above steps 203 and 204 are not in strict sequence, and may also be executed simultaneously.
By adopting the video resource pre-pushing method shown in fig. 2, the video resource with high popularity is pre-pushed to the client with relatively high online probability, so that the sharing efficiency of the video resource with high popularity is further improved.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the video resource pre-pushing method may be executed by a push server, as shown in fig. 3, and specifically includes the following steps:
step 301, obtaining an online probability of each client, where the online probability represents a probability that the client is online in the daytime and the late peak hours.
In this step, the online probability of the client may be determined in the above manner, and may specifically be determined by the traffic statistics server and sent to the push server, where the specific process may be as follows:
the traffic statistic server counts the online probability of each client and generates an online probability list, wherein the online probability list comprises a high probability list, a medium probability list and a low probability list.
The high probability list comprises clients of which the online probability is greater than a first preset probability threshold, the medium probability list comprises clients of which the online probability is not greater than the first preset probability threshold and is greater than a second preset probability threshold, and the low probability list comprises clients of which the online probability is not greater than the second preset probability threshold.
Step 302, based on the online probabilities of the clients, a client having an online probability greater than a first preset probability threshold and a client having an online probability not greater than the first preset probability threshold and greater than a second preset probability threshold are determined from the clients. For example, the clients of the high probability list and the medium probability list are determined from the online probability list.
And step 303, pre-pushing a first hot video resource to the client with the determined online probability greater than a first preset probability threshold. For example, the client of the high probability list is determined from the online probability list.
And step 304, pre-pushing a second hot video resource to the client with the online probability not greater than the first preset probability threshold and greater than the second preset probability threshold in all the clients. For example, a client that determines a medium probability list from the above online probability lists.
The first preset probability threshold is larger than the second preset probability threshold, and the hot degree of the first hot video resource is larger than that of the second hot video resource.
And 305, pre-pushing a third hot video resource to a client of which the online probability is not greater than a second preset probability threshold value in each client. For example, a client with a low probability list is determined from the online probability list.
Wherein the hot degree of the second hot video resource is greater than the hot degree of the third hot video resource.
The steps 303, 304 and 305 may be executed simultaneously without strict sequence.
By adopting the video resource pre-pushing method shown in fig. 3, the video resources with high popularity degree are pre-pushed to the client in the high probability list, so that the sharing efficiency of the video resources with high popularity degree is further improved.
