Description

Eye protection glasses
Technical Field
The present invention relates to goggles suitable for use in swimming, other sports, and the like.
Background
Conventionally, as such goggles, for example, as shown in fig. 12, there are goggles as follows: the pair of right and left eye cups 21, a connecting member 22 for connecting the opposing inner ends of both eye cups 21 to each other, an elastic band 23, and a connecting member 24 for connecting the eye cups 21 and the elastic band 23 (patent document 1).
In the goggles described above, as shown in fig. 13, the connecting member 24 includes a strap adjuster 25 and a buckle 26 made of hard plastic, and a strap holder 27 made of high elastic (soft) plastic as a rubber-like elastic body. The connecting member 24 is an integrally formed product in which the strap adjustor 25, the buckle 26, and the strap holder 27 are integrally joined.
The connection member 24 is attached to an attachment portion 29 of the eye cup 21 via a strap stopper 28 so as to be rotatable in the vertical direction. That is, the link member 24 is provided to be rotatable about 5 degrees about the center P about the eye cup 21 (see fig. 16). As shown in fig. 14 and 15, the movement of the link member 24 in the front-rear direction is restricted by the locking shaft portion 31 loosely fitted in the engagement hole 30 of the strap adjustor 25, and is guided by the locking shaft portion 31 and the mounting portion outer wall surface 32 and the engagement hole 33 of the eye cup 21 to rotate relatively.
The goggles configured as described above can prevent the position of the eye cup from being displaced by the relative rotation of the eye cup 21, and can maintain the water tightness between the eye cup 21 and the face of the user.
Patent document 1: japanese patent No. 3243345.
However, in the conventional goggles described in patent document 1, since the locking shaft portion 31 of the strap stopper 28 is loosely fitted into the engagement hole 30 of the strap adjuster 25 and the movement in the front-rear direction is restricted only by the locking shaft portion 31, there is a problem that the locking shaft portion 31 may be damaged when a strong tensile force is applied when the goggles are worn.
Further, in the conventional goggles, the strap adjustor 25 and the strap holder 27 are integrally coupled, but when a strong twisting force is applied to the joint portion of the strap adjustor 25 and the strap holder 27 at the time of wearing the goggles, the strap adjustor 25 may come off the strap holder 27 or the insertion portion of the strap adjustor 25 may slightly float above the fitting opening 29, and thus the strap stopper 28 may come off, and therefore, the strap holder 27 is made of a high-elasticity (soft) plastic that is a rubber-like elastic body, and a strong tension applied to the locking shaft portion 31 and a strong twisting force applied to the joint portion of the strap holder 27 and the strap adjustor 25 are released.
Therefore, in the conventional goggles, since it is necessary to join members of different materials to form the coupling member 24, it is difficult to manufacture the goggles, and there is a problem that the coupling member 24 itself becomes large in size due to the joining of these members.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, a mode for implementing goggles according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description, the directions such as up, down, left, right, front, and rear are based on the goggle wearing state.
Fig. 1 to 3 show an embodiment of the goggles of the present invention as swimming goggles. The swimming goggles include: a goggle main body 1 called an eye cup for protecting eyes from water and a headband 2 attached to the head are connected to both ends of the goggle main body 1 via connecting members 3. The headband 2 is also adjustable in length of a portion where both ends are folded back via the connecting member 3 and the two ends are folded back and overlapped with each other via the band length adjusting member 4.
The goggle body 1 includes a lens portion 1a and a face-abutting elastic portion 1b, and the goggle body shown in the figure is freely attachable to and detachable from each other, but may be fixed to and integrated with each other by welding. The lens portion 1a of the goggle body 1 shown in the figure connects the left and right eye cups for a single eye to each other via the elastic connection member 5, but may be constituted by one eye cup for both eyes.
An engaging opening 6 and an inserting and removing portion 8 are provided at both end portions of the goggle body 1, the engaging opening 6 is opened to a side surface of the goggle, and the inserting and removing portion 8 has an inserting and removing opening 7 which communicates with the engaging opening 6 and is opened to a rear side. Further, a flat plate-like fitting portion 9 is provided so as to protrude from the connecting member 3, the fitting portion 9 is loosely fitted into the fitting opening 6 so as to be insertable from the insertion/removal opening 7, and by rotating the fitting portion 9 in the vertical direction in the fitting opening 6, the upper surface of the fitting portion 9 is brought into contact with the upper surface of the fitting opening 6, or the lower surface of the fitting portion 9 is brought into contact with the lower surface of the fitting opening 6. With this arrangement, the fitting opening 6 and the fitting portion 9 come into surface contact with each other, and therefore the fitting portion 9 is reliably held by the fitting opening 6. A connection hole 11 is formed in a grip portion 10 provided at the rear end of the fitting portion 9, and the headband 2 is connected to the connection hole 11.
The headband 2 is made of elastic material having elasticity such as silicone rubber, synthetic rubber, or elastomer, and is generally formed in a band shape as a whole, but may be formed in a band shape as long as the end portion thereof can be attached to the connection member 3, and the whole may not be particularly formed in a band shape.
The fitting opening 6 of the goggle main body 1 is formed in a substantially triangular shape or a substantially fan shape such as a substantially isosceles triangle, a substantially equilateral triangle, a substantially scalene triangle, or the like having the front direction of the goggle as a vertex. The term "substantially triangular shape" or "substantially fan-shaped" as used herein refers to a shape that is a broad concept including a shape in which corners are rounded or sides are curved.
The fitting opening 6 has a two-stage structure, and the first-stage fitting opening 6a on the front side is formed to be smaller in inner circumference by one turn or smaller by one turn or more than the second-stage fitting opening 6b on the back side.
In the insertion and extraction portion 8, the front surface 8a is formed in a concave curved surface shape, and corresponds to a rear surface 9c formed in a convex curved surface shape of a fitting portion 9 of the link member 3 described later, so that the front surface 8a and the rear surface 9c are slidably brought into contact, and the rear surface 8b is formed in a convex curved surface shape, and corresponds to a front surface 10a formed in a concave curved surface shape of a grip portion 10 of the link member 3 described later, so that the rear surface 8b and the front surface 10a are slidably brought into contact.
The connecting member 3 is made of synthetic resin, and includes the fitting portion 9 and the grip portion 10, and the fitting portion 9 is provided to protrude from the tip of the grip portion 10.
The fitting portion 9 of the coupling member 3 is formed in a substantially triangular shape such as a substantially isosceles triangle, a substantially equilateral triangle, a substantially scalene triangle, or a substantially fan shape having the front direction of the goggle as a vertex. The substantially triangular shape and the substantially fan-shaped shape referred to herein are, similarly to the fitting opening 6 of the goggle main body 1, shapes having rounded corners or curved sides as a broad concept.
The fitting portion 9 has a two-stage structure, and the first-stage fitting portion 9a on the front surface side is formed to be smaller in inner circumference by one turn or more than the second-stage fitting portion 9b on the back surface side, the first-stage fitting portion 9a faces the first-stage fitting opening 6a of the fitting opening 6, and the second-stage fitting portion 9b faces the second-stage fitting opening 6b of the fitting opening 6. The first-stage fitting portion 9a and the second-stage fitting portion 9b are smaller than the first-stage fitting opening 6a and the second-stage fitting opening 6b, respectively.
The fitting portion 9 is formed such that the front end portion thereof is thinner than the insertion/removal opening 7 of the goggle body 1 and gradually becomes thicker from the front end portion toward the rear, a gap S is formed between the first-stage fitting portion 9a and the second-stage fitting portion 9b except for the coupling portion 13 at the front end, and the first-stage fitting portion 9a is pressed down to be elastically deformed, whereby the rear end portion thereof becomes thinner than the insertion/removal opening 7 of the goggle body 1, and the insertion/removal operation can be performed to the insertion/removal opening 7. The first-stage fitting portion 9a of the fitting portion 9 has a rear surface 9c in a convex curved surface shape corresponding to the front surface 8a of the insertion and extraction portion 8 of the goggle main body 1, which is formed in a concave curved surface shape, and is slidably in contact with the front surface 8 a.
Then, by rotating the fitting portion 9 in the vertical direction in the fitting port 6, the upper surface of the first-stage fitting portion 9a of the fitting portion 9 comes into contact with the upper surface of the first-stage fitting port 6a of the fitting port 6 and the upper surface of the second-stage fitting portion 9b of the fitting portion 9 comes into contact with the upper surface of the second-stage fitting port 6b of the fitting port 6, or the lower surface of the first-stage fitting portion 9a of the fitting portion 9 comes into contact with the lower surface of the first-stage fitting port 6a of the fitting port 6 and the lower surface of the second-stage fitting portion 9b of the fitting portion 9 comes into contact with the lower surface of the second-stage fitting port 6b of the fitting port 6.
The goggles of the present invention are configured as described above, and in the use state, the goggle body 1 and the coupling member 3 can be coupled to and separated from each other by the goggle wearer as described below, but the goggle body 1 and the coupling member 3 may not be separated from each other while maintaining the coupled state by fitting and fixing the fitting portion 9 of the coupling member 3 to the fitting port 6 of the goggle body 1.
The goggles of the present invention configured as described above are used as follows.
First, when the goggle body 1 and the connection member 3 are connected, the grip portion 10 of the connection member 3 is gripped, and the fitting portion 9 is press-fitted into the fitting opening 6 of the goggle body 1 from the insertion/removal opening 7.
In this case, the first-stage fitting portion 9a of the fitting portion 9 of the connecting member 3 is guided to the fitting opening 6 in a state of being pressed against the inner surface of the insertion/extraction opening 7 of the goggle main body 1, and elastically returns at the fitting opening 6, and as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the goggle main body 1 and the connecting member 3 are connected in a state where the rear surface 9c of the first-stage fitting portion 9a is in contact with the front surface 8a of the insertion/extraction opening 8.
Therefore, when the goggles are worn, the fitting portion 9 is vertically rotatable in the fitting port 6, and therefore the goggle body 1 moves and is stably (fixed) to a portion of the wearer's face with a good fitting feeling, so that a positional deviation between the goggle body 1 and the wearer's face can be prevented, water does not enter the goggle (no water leakage), and a very good fitting feeling (wearing feeling) can be obtained.
In this case, since the fitting portion 9 is in surface contact within a wide range such as the following in a state where the fitting portion 9 is rotated in the vertical direction within the fitting opening 6, the fitting portion 9 is reliably held in the fitting opening 6, and there is no fear of breakage even if strong tension or strong twisting force is applied when the goggle is worn, and the surface contact within the wide range is as follows: as shown in fig. 10 (b), the upper surface of the first-stage fitting portion 9a of the fitting portion 9 is brought into contact with the upper surface of the first-stage fitting opening 6a of the fitting opening 6 and the upper surface of the second-stage fitting portion 9b of the fitting portion 9 is brought into contact with the upper surface of the second-stage fitting opening 6b of the fitting opening 6, or as shown in fig. 11 (b), the lower surface of the first-stage fitting portion 9a of the fitting portion 9 is brought into contact with the lower surface of the first-stage fitting opening 6a of the fitting opening 6 and the lower surface of the second-stage fitting portion 9b of the fitting portion 9 is brought into contact with the lower surface of the second-stage fitting opening 6b of the fitting opening 6.
When the goggle body 1 and the connection member 3 are separated from each other, the first-stage fitting portion 9a of the fitting portion 9 of the connection member 3 is pressed and elastically deformed, and the fitting portion 9 is thinner than the insertion/removal opening 7 of the goggle body 1 and can be removed from the insertion/removal opening 7, so that the goggle body 1 and the connection member 3 can be easily separated from each other.
As described above, the goggles according to the present invention are not likely to be broken even if strong tension or strong twisting force is applied during wearing, do not require a member made of a different material to be joined to form the connecting member, are easy to manufacture, can be provided at low cost, are excellent in commercial value, and can be miniaturized in the connecting member itself, so that the fluid resistance during use is small, the fitting feeling is improved, and the goggles are preferable for use in swimming, other sports, and the like.
