Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an implementation environment provided by an embodiment of the present invention, and referring to fig. 1, the implementation environment includes a terminal 101 and a server 102, and the terminal 101 and the server 102 are connected through a network.
The server 102 is a multimedia data server, and can issue multimedia data for a user to browse. The multimedia data server can be a news website server, a video website server, a portal website server and the like, and the published multimedia data can comprise various types such as text data, picture data, video data, audio data and the like.
The terminal 101 may be a mobile phone, a computer, a tablet computer, or the like, and the terminal 101 may display a page provided by the server 102 or play multimedia data provided by the server 102.
In one possible implementation, the terminal 101 may install a multimedia application client associated with the server 102, present a page provided by the server 102 through the multimedia application client, and play multimedia data provided by the server 102 in the page.
In general, a website may set a preview area on a designated page, and play preview data in the preview area, but the embodiment of the present invention is applied to a scenario where preview data to be played in the preview area is set.
For example, a home page of a news website may show a plurality of news headlines, and in addition, some popular news videos or news pictures may be played in a preview area as preview data. When browsing the home page of the news website, the user can set preview data to be played in the preview area according to the requirements of the user.
Or, the home page of the video website may display a video list, where the video list includes a plurality of videos displayed in the form of thumbnails, and besides, some pictures or video clips of popular videos may be played in a preview area as preview data. When browsing the home page of the video website, the user can set preview data to be played in the preview area according to the requirements of the user.
In the related art, usually, a manager sets preview data to be played in advance, and adds the preview data to a preview area of a designated page, which is cumbersome to operate and inconvenient to replace the preview data. In the embodiment of the invention, a mode for automatically setting the preview data is provided, the preview data can be automatically set according to the video frame extracted from the selected video, the setting operation is simplified, the preview data is convenient to replace, and the flexibility is improved. The specific process is described in detail in the following examples.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a preview data playing method provided in an embodiment of the present invention, where interaction subjects of the preview data playing method are the terminal 101 and the server 102 shown in fig. 1, and referring to fig. 2, the method includes:
201. and the terminal receives a preview data setting instruction carrying the video identifier and sends the preview data setting instruction to the server.
The video identifier is used for uniquely determining a corresponding video, and may be a video name, a video number, and the like, and the video number may be a unique number allocated by the server when the server publishes the video. Besides the video identifier, the preview data setting instruction may also carry other attribute information of the video, such as resolution, playing duration, and the like.
The preview data setting instruction is used for indicating that preview data is set according to the video corresponding to the video identifier, namely that the preview data is generated according to the data in the video. In the embodiment of the invention, the server stores the video and sets the preview data, so that when the terminal receives the preview data setting instruction carrying the video identifier, the terminal sends the preview data setting instruction to the server to instruct the server to set the preview data.
The preview data setting instruction may be triggered by an operation of the user on the terminal by selecting the video identifier. In a possible implementation manner, a terminal displays a video list, the video list includes a plurality of video identifiers corresponding to a plurality of videos, when the terminal detects a selection operation on any one of the video identifiers in the video list, a preview data setting option is displayed, and when a confirmation operation on the preview data setting option is detected, it is determined that a preview data setting instruction carrying the selected video identifier is received.
The video list may be located on a designated page or on other pages except the designated page, the thumbnail of the video corresponding to the video identifier may be displayed in the video list for each video identifier, and then the selection operation on the video identifier may be a long-press operation on the thumbnail of the video identifier, and certainly, the selection operation on the video identifier may also be other operations.
For example, referring to fig. 3, the terminal opens a home page of a video website, where a preview area is located above the home page, and a display area of a video list in which thumbnails of a plurality of videos are displayed is located below the home page. When a user wants to generate preview data for a certain video, the terminal displays a preview data setting option by pressing a thumbnail of the video for a long time, at the moment, the user clicks the preview data setting option, the terminal receives a preview data setting instruction carrying a video identifier corresponding to the video, and the preview data can be set according to the content in the video based on the preview data setting instruction.
202. And when the server receives the preview data setting instruction, extracting a video frame from the video corresponding to the video identifier.
The server stores various multimedia data including video, audio, text and the like, and the stored multimedia data can be uploaded by a user, or uploaded by an advertiser, or generated by the server according to the collected multimedia data.
When the server receives a preview data setting instruction carrying a video identifier, the server indicates that preview data is to be generated according to data in a video corresponding to the video identifier. Because the video corresponding to the video identifier includes a plurality of video frames, and the preview data is too large and is inconvenient for a user to browse because all of the plurality of video frames are used as preview data, the server can extract the video frames from the plurality of video frames after analyzing the video to obtain the plurality of video frames, and generate the preview data according to the extracted video frames.
With respect to the process of extracting video frames, the server may randomly extract a certain number of video frames from the video; or extracting a video frame within a specified time period from the video, wherein the specified time period can be the head or the tail of the video, or other time periods; or video frames containing data of a specified type, such as video frames containing text data, are extracted from the video.
In a possible implementation manner, the server may calculate a score of each video frame by using a preset algorithm according to the recorded information of each video frame in the video, and extract the video frame from the video according to the score of each video frame.
For the recording information of the video frame, the recording information includes at least one of playing times, fast forward playing probability, repeat playing probability, cancel playing probability, playing fluency, pushing priority and caption information.
In the process that any user plays the video by using the terminal, the video segment which is more interested in the video may be played repeatedly, and the video segment which is not interested in the video segment may be played fast forward, or the video segment is skipped over directly, that is, the video segment is cancelled. Correspondingly, for each video frame in the video, according to the playing condition of the video frame, multi-dimensional recording information such as the playing times, the repeated playing probability, the playing cancellation probability, the playing fluency and the like of the video frame can be counted, the recording information is input into a preset algorithm for calculation, and the obtained calculation result is the score of the video frame.
The repeated playing probability is a ratio of the repeated playing times of the video frame to the total playing times of the video, the playing cancellation probability is a ratio of the playing cancellation times of the video frame to the total playing times of the video, the playing fluency refers to the number of the video frames played in unit time, for a certain video frame, the playing fluency of the video frame can be the playing fluency of a video clip corresponding to the video frame, and the video clip corresponding to the video frame can be a clip with the video frame as a starting point and the playing duration as the preset duration, or a clip with the video frame as a middle point and the playing duration as the preset duration, and the like.
In addition, each video frame may also be set with a push priority, where a higher push priority indicates that the video frame should be preferentially pushed to the user, and the push priority of the video frame may be set by an administrator of the server, or may be set by a publisher of the video, or may be determined according to a trending degree of the video frame, for example, a video frame specified by the video publisher has a higher push priority, a video frame containing some advertisements has a higher push priority, or a video frame that is more trending has a higher push priority.
In addition, subtitles can be added in the video, the subtitles are used for displaying the content in the audio information, each video frame has corresponding subtitle information, and the corresponding subtitle information can be displayed when the video frame is played. Since two or more adjacent video frames may correspond to the same subtitle information, when extracting a video frame, only one video frame may be extracted for a video frame corresponding to the same subtitle information, so as to avoid repetition of the subtitle information. In practical application, the caption score can be set, the caption score of one of the video frames corresponding to the same caption information is set to be a higher numerical value, and the caption scores of other video frames are set to be a lower numerical value, so that the score of only one video frame in the video frames corresponding to the same caption information can be ensured to be higher and possibly extracted when the score is calculated, and the scores of other video frames are very low and cannot be extracted.
For the preset algorithm, the preset algorithm may be preset by a server, for example, the preset algorithm may be a weighted sum algorithm, the server may set a weight for the recording information of each dimension, and for each video frame in the video, the recording information of the video frame in each dimension may be weighted sum according to the weight of the recording information of each dimension, so as to obtain a score of the video frame.
The preset algorithm can also be updated by the server according to the collected data of a large number of users, and in the process that a large number of users access the server, the server can monitor the operation behaviors of the users and collect the behavior data of the users, so that the preset algorithm is updated and corrected according to the collected behavior data.
In a possible implementation manner, the server may create an artificial intelligence system, and each time the recording information of a plurality of video frames in the video is input into the artificial intelligence system, the score of each video frame is output through a preset algorithm in the artificial intelligence system. In addition, in the application process, the artificial intelligence system can be continuously optimized according to the collected user behavior data, so that the accuracy of the preset algorithm is improved, and preview data which can better meet the requirements of the user can be provided for the user.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the score of each video frame is obtained, the video frame may be extracted from the video in any one of the following manners:
1. and extracting video frames with scores larger than a preset score from the video. The preset score can be preset by the server according to a preset algorithm, and when the score of the video frame is larger than the preset score, the video frame is indicated to be pushed to a user, so that the video frame is applied when preview data is generated.
2. And extracting a preset number of video frames from the video according to the sequence of the scores from large to small. Wherein the preset number can be determined by the server according to the requirement in advance. According to the sequence of the scores from large to small, the video frames with higher scores can be extracted, the video frames can be applied when the preview data is generated, and the video frames with excessive number cannot be extracted, so that the phenomenon that the data size of the preview data is too large is avoided.
3. And extracting the video frames with the total playing time length as the preset time length from the video according to the sequence of the scores from large to small. The preset time length can be set by the server according to requirements.
Each video frame has a playing time length, the total playing time length of the extracted multiple video frames is the playing time length of the preview data, when the playing time length is too long, the data transmitted between the terminal and the server is too much, and too much data flow is consumed, and when the playing time length is too small, the information amount of the preview data is too little, and the requirements of users cannot be met. Therefore, the preset time length can be set, the video frames are extracted from the video according to the sequence of the scores from large to small, the total playing time length of the currently extracted video frames is counted, the extraction is continued when the current total playing time length is smaller than the preset time length until the current total playing time length is equal to the preset time length, and therefore the video frames with the total playing time length as the preset time length can be extracted from the video, and the preview data with the playing time length as the preset time length can be generated subsequently.
203. The server generates preview data according to the extracted video frame, adds the preview data in a preview area on the appointed page, and sends the appointed page to the terminal.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the server may generate the preview data according to the extracted video frame in any one of the following manners:
1. when a plurality of video frames are extracted, a video composed of the plurality of video frames is combined as preview data.
The server can directly clip and combine the plurality of video frames according to the sequence of the plurality of video frames in the original video to form a new short video, and the short video is used as preview data.
2. When a plurality of video frames are extracted, a video formed by combining the plurality of video frames is compressed, and the compressed video is used as preview data.
The server can directly combine a plurality of video frames into a new video according to the sequence of the plurality of video frames in the original video, then compress the new video, and use the compressed video as preview data to reduce the data volume of the preview data, thereby saving the data flow consumed when the preview data is transmitted between the server and the terminal. For example, image pixels in the new video may be compressed to generate a smaller video.
3. When a plurality of video frames are extracted, format conversion is carried out on a video formed by combining the plurality of video frames to obtain a dynamic picture, and the dynamic picture is used as preview data.
The server can directly combine a plurality of video frames into a new video according to the sequence of the video frames in the original video, format conversion is carried out on the new video formed by combination to obtain a dynamic picture, and the dynamic picture is used as preview data. Because the data volume of the dynamic picture is smaller than that of the video, the data volume of the preview data can be reduced by format conversion, and the data traffic consumed in the process of transmitting the preview data between the server and the terminal is further saved.
Of course, the server may acquire the preview data in other manners besides the above three manners.
In the embodiment of the invention, the designated page is provided by the server, and the multimedia data displayed in the designated page is set by the server, so that after the server generates the preview data, the content of the designated page is changed, the preview data is added in the preview area on the designated page, thereby replacing the original preview data on the designated page, and the changed designated page is sent to the terminal to be displayed by the terminal.
In practical applications, the server may include a data server storing multimedia data and a processing server performing various processing operations on the multimedia data. Then, when the processing server receives a preview data setting instruction sent by the terminal, the processing server extracts the video corresponding to the video identifier from the data server, generates preview data according to the video, and sends the preview data to the terminal.
204. And the terminal receives the appointed page, and plays the preview data in the preview area when the appointed page is displayed.
When the terminal receives the appointed page sent by the server under the condition that the terminal is displaying the original appointed page, the appointed page is updated, the newly added preview data is played in the preview area on the appointed page, and the original preview data is not played any more.
When the terminal receives the appointed page sent by the server under the condition that other pages are displayed, the appointed page can be cached, and when the appointed page is opened subsequently, the appointed page is displayed again, the newly added preview data is played in the preview area on the appointed page, and the setting of the preview data is finished.
205. And when the terminal finishes playing the preview data, displaying a replay option, determining to receive the preview data setting instruction carrying the video identifier again when the confirmation operation of the replay option is detected, and sending the preview data setting instruction to the server again.
When the terminal finishes playing the preview data, a replay option can be displayed in the preview area, if the user triggers a confirmation operation on the replay option, the user can be considered to be interested in the video corresponding to the preview data and hope to watch more contents in the video, and therefore when the confirmation operation on the replay option is detected, the preview data can be generated according to the same video again.
206. When the server receives the preview data setting instruction again, the server extracts a video frame different from the video frame extracted last time from the video, and generates preview data again according to the extracted video frame.
If the video frame is directly extracted from the video, it is likely that the same video frame as the previous video frame is extracted, which may cause data duplication, which is equivalent to reducing the utilization rate of data traffic, and providing duplicated information for the user may affect the user experience. Therefore, when the server receives the preview data setting instruction again, the server can compare the preview data with the video frame extracted last time and extract the video frame different from the video frame extracted last time from the video, so that the preview data different from the preview data extracted last time is generated, and data duplication is avoided.
When a video frame different from the video frame extracted last time is extracted, the video frame extracted last time can be filtered from the video, and extracted from the rest video frames, or the pushing priority of the video frame extracted last time can be set to be a lower numerical value, so that the value of the video frame extracted last time can be ensured to be very low and can not be extracted when the value is calculated, or other modes can be adopted, and only the video frame extracted this time is required to be different from the video frame extracted last time.
207. The server adds the regenerated preview data to the preview area on the designated page, and transmits the designated page to the terminal.
208. And the terminal receives the appointed page, and plays the regenerated preview data in the preview area when the appointed page is displayed.
For example, when the terminal first requests preview data from the server, the server returns short video ID001 to the terminal, and the playback time period of short video ID001 is x seconds, whereas when the terminal second requests preview data from the server, the server acquires new short video ID002 that does not overlap with short video ID001, and returns short video ID002 to the terminal, and the playback time period of short video ID002 is y seconds.
It should be noted that, the above-mentioned step 205-208 is an optional step, when the preview data is played completely, the terminal may not request to regenerate the preview data, but automatically repeat playing the set preview data, or otherwise request the server to regenerate the preview data, for example, when the specified page is opened again after exiting the specified page, the server may be automatically requested to regenerate the preview data.
Fig. 4A is a schematic diagram of an operation flow provided in an embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 4A, after an operation of setting preview data is triggered on a terminal, the terminal reports the preview data to a server, and applies for the server, and if the preview data is extracted for the first time, the server extracts video frames after performing big data analysis and artificial intelligence analysis, and then combines the extracted video frames into a video by using an image integration technology, and generates a dynamic picture after performing format conversion, and sends the dynamic picture to the terminal; if the preview data is not extracted for the first time, the server compares the preview data with the generated preview data, extracts a new video frame, generates new preview data and sends the new preview data to the terminal.
Fig. 4B is a schematic diagram of another operation flow provided in the embodiment of the present invention, and referring to fig. 4B, the terminal is responsible for triggering a preview data setting instruction, and the server is responsible for calculating and extracting a video frame, performing operations such as image merging and format conversion, obtaining preview data, and issuing the preview data to the terminal.
In the related art, the preview data played in the preview area of the home page is manually set by the background, which has manual limitation, cannot be changed in real time according to the user's demand, and does not support setting of all videos.
According to the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, when a preview data setting instruction carrying the video identifier is received, the video frame is extracted from the video corresponding to the video identifier, and the preview data is generated according to the extracted video frame, so that a mode of automatically setting the preview data is provided, the artificial intelligence recognition and big data analysis technologies are combined, the online analysis and image processing are carried out on the video, the online preview of the preview data is realized, the manual setting by a manager is not needed, the setting operation of the manager is simplified, the labor cost is reduced, and the flexibility is improved. Moreover, the user triggers a corresponding preview data setting instruction according to the selected video identifier, preview data can be set according to the video selected by the user, the requirements of the user are met, personalized preview data can be obtained, and good experience is brought to the user.
Moreover, when the preview data setting instruction is triggered again, the preview data can be conveniently replaced, and the operation of replacing the preview data is simplified. When the preview data setting instruction is triggered again for the same video, the video frame different from the video frame extracted last time is extracted from the video, so that the situation that the content of the preview data is repeated is avoided, the situation that the server sends the repeated preview data to the terminal is also avoided, the utilization rate of data flow is improved, and the consumed data flow is equivalently saved.
And after the video is subjected to online analysis and image processing, the format of the generated short video is converted to obtain a dynamic picture, and under the condition of displaying the same content, the data volume of the dynamic picture is smaller than that of the short video, so that the data flow can be saved when the dynamic picture is sent.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart of a preview data playing method according to an embodiment of the present invention, where an execution subject of the preview data playing method is a terminal, and the difference between the embodiment of the present invention and the embodiment shown in fig. 2 is that: in the embodiment of the invention, the terminal generates the preview data according to the video without a server. Referring to fig. 5, the method includes:
501. and when the terminal receives a preview data setting instruction carrying a video identifier, extracting a video frame from a video corresponding to the video identifier according to the preview data setting instruction.
And sending the video corresponding to the video identification to the terminal by the server, and storing the video by the terminal.
502. And the terminal generates preview data according to the extracted video frame, and adds the preview data in a preview area on the appointed page.
503. And when the terminal displays the specified page, playing the preview data in the preview area.
504. When the terminal finishes playing the preview data, displaying a replay option, when the confirmation operation of the replay option is detected, determining that the preview data setting instruction carrying the video identifier is received again, and extracting a video frame different from the video frame extracted last time from the video corresponding to the video identifier according to the preview datamation setting instruction.
505. And the terminal regenerates the preview data according to the video frame extracted this time, adds the regenerated preview data in the preview area on the appointed page, and plays the regenerated preview data in the preview area.
The specific process of steps 501-505 is similar to that of the embodiment shown in fig. 2, and is not described herein again.
According to the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, when the preview data setting instruction carrying the video identifier is received, the video frame is extracted from the video corresponding to the video identifier, and the preview data is generated according to the extracted video frame, so that a mode of automatically setting the preview data is provided, manual setting by a manager is not required, the setting operation of the manager is simplified, the labor cost is reduced, and the flexibility is improved. Moreover, the user triggers a corresponding preview data setting instruction according to the selected video identifier, preview data can be set according to the video selected by the user, the requirements of the user are met, and personalized preview data can be acquired.
Moreover, when the preview data setting instruction is triggered again, the preview data can be conveniently replaced, and the operation of replacing the preview data is simplified. When the preview data setting instruction is triggered again for the same video, the video frame different from the video frame extracted last time is extracted from the video, so that the situation that the content of the preview data is repeated is avoided, the situation that the server sends the repeated preview data to the terminal is also avoided, and the waste of storage space is avoided.
