Description

Method and device for indicating or receiving number of duplicate transmission copies
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for indicating a number of duplicate transmission copies for a base station, and a method and an apparatus for receiving a number of duplicate transmission copies for a terminal.
Background
At present, services in communication networks are becoming more diversified, not just simple voice calls, web browsing, video, and the like. But a great many new services are emerging, such as car networking, telemedicine, industrial automation, etc., which have the common feature of requiring high real-time performance and may have serious impact once a mistake is made, so that they need to ensure low time-delay and high reliability.
In the discussion of the current 5G standardization, URLLC (Ultra-Reliable and Low Latency Communication) uses real-time scheduling on air interface scheduling, and for example, in the following Communication, when a base station has URLLC data to send to a terminal, the base station can start scheduling on any OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbol of a slot, instead of starting scheduling from the start boundary of the slot as in sending normal data; in case of limited resources, etc., the base station may even puncture the normal data being transmitted to make resources available for transmission of URLLC data. However, the above methods all solve the problem of how to reduce the delay, and how to improve the reliability of data transmission still needs to find a feasible solution.
One possible scheme is to transmit multiple copies of the same effective Information in multiple different frequency resources, but the number of copies is not determined at present, so that the DCI format cannot be determined during DCI (Downlink Control Information) blind detection, and thus DCI cannot be demodulated correctly. Therefore, in order to be able to correctly demodulate DCI information, the terminal needs to determine the number of repeatedly transmitted copies.
