Compared with the prior art, the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention has the following beneficial effects:
for the user equipment side, the user equipment adopting the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention can send the limited capability information to the network in the multi-connection network architecture, so that a base station connected with the user equipment in the network executes a negotiation process based on the limited capability information, thereby making user equipment capability information limitation response information, and further the user equipment knows whether the capability information limitation request is accepted or rejected based on the user equipment capability information limitation response information. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention provides a scheme adopted by the user equipment when the capability information of the user equipment needs to be limited in the multi-connection network architecture.
Further, before sending the limited capability information, the ue may send an indication of ue capability information limitation to the network to trigger a ue capability information query request of the network. And sending the limited capability information to the network based on the user equipment capability information query request. Accordingly, the user equipment may trigger an action of transmitting the limited capability information to the base station based on the user equipment capability information query request of the base station.
Further, when the ue needs to update the capability information restriction, an update request of the ue capability information restriction is sent to the network, where the update request includes the restricted capability information updated by the ue. The user equipment may then receive user equipment capability information restriction update response information from the network, which is determined based on a negotiation procedure of the base station, for indicating whether the base station accepts or rejects the update request of the user equipment capability information restriction. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention also provides a scheme adopted by the user equipment when the limited user equipment capability information needs to be updated in the multi-connection network architecture.
For the network side, when the first base station adopting the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention acquires the limited capability information of the user equipment in the multi-connection network architecture, the first base station and the second base station can execute a negotiation process based on the limited capability information, so that the capability information limitation response information of the user equipment is determined, and the user equipment is indicated to accept or reject the capability information limitation request. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention provides a scheme adopted by a network side in the multi-connection network architecture when the user equipment capability information is limited.
Further, before acquiring the ue capability information restriction request, the first base station further acquires indication information of the ue capability information restriction of the ue, and sends a ue capability information query request to the ue based on the indication information of the ue capability information restriction. Therefore, the base station may trigger the ue to send the ue-restricted capability information to the ue based on the sent ue capability information query request.
Further, the first base station may further obtain an update request of the ue capability information restriction of the ue, perform a negotiation procedure with the second base station based on the update request of the ue capability information restriction, and send a ue capability information restriction update response message to the ue based on a result of the negotiation procedure to indicate acceptance or rejection of the update request of the ue capability information restriction. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention also provides a scheme adopted by the network side when the limited user equipment capability information needs to be updated in the multi-connection network architecture.
Further, when the user equipment capability information is limited, the second base station adopting the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention can execute a negotiation process with the first base station based on the limited capability information, thereby determining whether to accept or reject the user equipment capability information limitation request. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention provides a scheme adopted by a network side in the multi-connection network architecture when the user equipment capability information is limited.
Further, when the result of the negotiation process is that the ue capability information restriction request is granted, the second base station performs resource reconfiguration, sends the result of the resource reconfiguration to the first base station, and the first base station forwards the result of the resource reconfiguration to the ue. Therefore, when the ue capability information restriction request is received in the multi-connection network architecture, the second base station further needs to perform resource reconfiguration to provide reasonable resources for the ue.
