Description

High-resolution projection display device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to display technology, and more particularly, to projection display technology.
Background
The projection display device can project an image onto a screen, which is advantageous in terms of picture size compared to a conventional flat panel display device. In general, a conventional projection apparatus performs projection only by a single projector, and the resolution of an image is determined by the resolution of the single projector. When the application scene needs to realize high-resolution projection display, the traditional projection device will encounter a bottleneck. Therefore, the present invention provides a high-resolution projection display apparatus that can realize image projection by a plurality of projectors, thereby realizing high-resolution image display.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a high-resolution projection display device. Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of the high-resolution projection display device. The high-resolution projection device consists of a grating curtain, a first projector, a second projector, a third projector, a fourth projector and a computer control system. The first projector, the second projector, the third projector and the fourth projector are arranged to form an array. The computer control system may sample a high-definition image at a 2 × 2 pixel period and form a first projection image, a second projection image, a third projection image, and a fourth projection image from an upper-right pixel, an upper-left pixel, a lower-right pixel, and a lower-left pixel in the 2 × 2 period, respectively. The obtained first projection image, second projection image, third projection image and fourth projection image are sent to the first projector, the second projector, the third projector and the fourth projector respectively for projection. The first projector, the second projector, the third projector, and the fourth projector may project projection images corresponding thereto to the same position of the raster curtain. The grating curtain consists of a lens array and a light reflection and scattering layer. The reverse light scattering layer has high reflectivity and scattering characteristics, and can reflect light incident thereon to various directions. The lenses on the lens array can focus the light rays from the first projector, the second projector, the third projector and the fourth projector at different positions of the reflective light scattering layer respectively, and form a first projection image light spot, a second projection image light spot, a third projection image light spot and a fourth projection light spot. The first projection image light spot, the second projection image light spot, the third projection image light spot and the fourth projection light spot can be imaged by the lens array to form a first projection image light spot image, a second projection image light spot image, a third projection image light spot image and a fourth projection light spot image. The first projection image light spot image, the second projection image light spot image, the third projection image light spot image and the fourth projection light spot image are arranged according to the positions of an upper right pixel, an upper left pixel, a lower right pixel and a lower left pixel in a 2 x 2 pixel period of the original high-definition image and are combined to form the original high-definition image.
Preferably, the size of a single pixel of the image projected by the first projector, the second projector, the third projector and the fourth projector at the raster curtain is equal to the lens array pitch.
Preferably, the distance from the lens array to the reverse light scattering layer is less than the lens focal length, and the first, second, third and fourth projected image spots may form an erect virtual image through the lens array.
Alternatively, referring to the display principle of the first projector, the second projector, the third projector and the fourth projector, the computer system may be provided with more projectors for image projection.
In the invention, because a plurality of projectors can be used for displaying images, the total pixel number of the displayed images is the sum of the pixel numbers of the plurality of projectors, and compared with the traditional projection device only using a single projector, the invention can obviously improve the resolution of the images.

Example 1
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a high-resolution projection display device 010 according to this embodiment. In the figure the x-coordinate represents the horizontal direction in space, the y-coordinate represents the vertical direction in space and z represents the direction perpendicular to the x-y plane. Referring to fig. 1, the present embodiment provides a high resolution projection display device 010, which includes a raster curtain 100, a first projector 210, a second projector 220, a third projector 230, a fourth projector 240, and a computer control system 300. The first projector 210, the second projector 220, the third projector 230 and the fourth projector 240 are arranged at equal intervals and arranged to form an array.
The high-resolution projection display device 010 according to the present embodiment will be further described below.
The computer control system 300 may sample a high-definition image in a 2 × 2 pixel cycle and form a first projection image, a second projection image, a third projection image, and a fourth projection image from an upper right pixel, an upper left pixel, a lower right pixel, and a lower left pixel in the 2 × 2 cycle, respectively. The obtained first, second, third and fourth projection images are sent to the first projector 210, the second projector 220, the third projector 230 and the fourth projector 240, respectively, and projected.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a raster curtain. The lenticular curtain 100 is composed of a lens array 110 and a light reflecting and scattering layer 120. The light reflection and scattering layer 120 is coated with a reflective material and has an uneven surface, so that it is easy to implement diffused reflection and reflects light incident thereon in various directions.
The first projector 210, the second projector 220, the third projector 230, and the fourth projector 240 may project the projection images corresponding thereto to the same position of the raster curtain 100. The first projector 210, the second projector 220, the third projector 230, and the fourth projector 240 project images at the raster curtain having a size of a single pixel equal to a lens array pitch.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of the projector forming a light spot on the raster curtain. Since the first projector 210, the second projector 220, the third projector 230, and the fourth projector 240 are located at different positions in space, the emitted light should be incident on the same lens 111 on the lens array 110 at different angles. Due to the converging action of the lens 111 on the light, the light from the first projector 210 will form a first projection image spot 410; light from the second projector 220 will form a second projected image spot 420; light from third projector 230 will form third projected image spot 430; light from the fourth projector 240 will form a fourth projected image spot 440. The four projected image light spots are not overlapped with each other.
As shown in fig. 4, it is a schematic diagram of the optical path of the light spot virtually imaged in the horizontal direction by the lens. Due to the function of the light reflection scattering layer, after the light emitted by the first projector 210 and the second projector 220 forms the first projection image spot 410 and the second projection image spot 420, the light reflected by the light reflection scattering layer can be imaged by the lens 111. In this embodimentThere is provided a high resolution projection display device 010 in which the distance from the lens array 110 to the reverse light scattering layer 120 is smaller than the focal length of the lens 111fReferring to the lens imaging principle, the first projection image spot 410 and the second projection image spot 420 may be in erect virtual images via the lens 111. The horizontal arrangement sequence of the first projection image light spot image 510 and the second projection image light spot image 520 formed by the light spots is the same as the pixel arrangement sequence of the original high-definition image.
As shown in fig. 5, it is a schematic diagram of the optical path of the light spot virtually imaged in the vertical direction through the lens. Due to the function of the reflective light scattering layer, after the light emitted by the second projector 220 and the fourth projector 240 forms the second projection image spot 420 and the fourth projection image spot 440, the light reflected by the reflective light scattering layer can be imaged by the lens 111. In the high-resolution projection display device 010 provided in this embodiment, the distance from the lens array 110 to the counter light scattering layer 120 is smaller than the focal length of the lens 111fReferring to the lens imaging principle, the second projection image spot 420 and the fourth projection image spot 440 may be in erect virtual images via the lens 111. The arrangement sequence of the second projection image light spot image 520 and the fourth projection image light spot image 540 formed by the light spots in the vertical direction is the same as the pixel arrangement sequence of the original high-definition image.
According to the principle, the first projection image light spot image 510, the second projection image light spot image 520, the third projection image light spot image 530 and the fourth projection image light spot image 540 formed on each lens 111 on the lens 110 are sequentially arranged and combined to form the original high-definition image.
In this embodiment, the resolution of the first projector 210, the second projector 220, the third projector 230, and the fourth projector 240 is 1000 × 1000, and since four projectors can be used to simultaneously display an image, the total number of pixels of the displayed image is the sum of the number of pixels of the plurality of projectors, and the resolution is 2000 × 2000.
