Detailed Description
(procedure for attaining the present invention)
There is known a faucet which mixes hot water and cold water supplied from a hot water supply port and a cold water supply port and discharges the mixed water from a shower head or a straight water outlet. For example, in the faucet of patent document 1, hot water and cold water are mixed by a hot water and cold water mixing valve accommodated in a water passage portion of a metal pipe, and the discharge amount and discharge direction of the mixed water are controlled by a switching valve.
In the faucet of patent document 1, a hot water inlet (hot water supply joint) through which hot water from a hot water supply port flows and a cold water inlet (cold water supply joint) through which cold water from a cold water supply port flows are provided separately from each other on a metal pipe. In the water passage, a mixed water outlet through which the mixed water flows out is provided in the metal pipe. In the faucet of patent document 1, a hot water inlet, a mixed water outlet, and a cold water inlet are provided in this order from one side of the metal pipe to the other side.
In the faucet of patent document 1, hot water and cold water flowing in are supplied to a hot-water and cold-water mixing valve through a flow path formed in a water passage portion. The mixed water mixed in the hot and cold water mixing valve flows out from the mixed water outlet port through a flow path formed in the water passage portion and a switching valve, and is discharged from the shower head or the straight water outlet port.
In the mounting surface to which such a faucet is mounted, a hot water supply port and a cold water supply port are often provided in accordance with the positions of a hot water inlet and a cold water inlet provided in a metal pipe.
The present inventors have developed a faucet formed of resin in order to reduce manufacturing costs.
In this faucet, since the faucet is formed of resin, it is difficult to provide a flow path such as a hot water path and a cold water path in the faucet. Therefore, in this faucet, the hot water inlet and the cold water inlet are provided close to the side where the hot water/cold water mixing valve is disposed, and the mixed water outlet is provided on the other side where the switching valve is disposed.
However, as in the faucet of patent document 1, many faucets are provided with a hot water inlet and a cold water inlet separately. The hot water supply port and the cold water supply port provided on a mounting surface such as a wall surface of a bathroom are provided separately so as to correspond to the positions of the hot water inlet and the cold water inlet of the faucet, respectively. That is, the interval between the hot water inlet and the cold water inlet of the faucet is equal to the interval between the hot water supply port and the cold water supply port of the mounting surface. In addition, the interval is often unified as a standard.
In such a case, when the resin faucet invented by the present inventors is mounted on a mounting surface corresponding to a conventional faucet, it is necessary to reduce the interval between the hot water supply port and the cold water supply port on the mounting surface. Therefore, the resin faucet cannot be easily attached to a mounting surface.
The inventors of the present invention have made a special study and found a structure in which a resin faucet is connected to a mounting surface by using a flow path block having a hot water path and a cold water path for connecting a hot water supply port and a cold water supply port of the mounting surface to a hot water inlet and a cold water inlet of a faucet main body, respectively, and have reached the following invention.
Hereinafter, embodiments will be described with reference to the drawings. In the drawings, elements are exaggerated for ease of explanation.

The faucet body 21 includes a main pipe portion 210, a hot water supply branch pipe portion 211, a cold water supply branch pipe portion 212, a straight outlet water outlet branch pipe portion 213, and a shower head water outlet branch pipe portion 214.
The faucet body 21 including these components is integrally formed of resin. That is, the main pipe portion 210, the hot water supply branch pipe portion 211, the cold water supply branch pipe portion 212, the straight outlet water outlet branch pipe portion 213, and the shower head water outlet branch pipe portion 214 are integrally formed of resin.
< main pipe section >
The main pipe portion 210 is a tubular member formed in a cylindrical shape. As shown in fig. 3, in the main pipe portion 210, the hot and cold water mixing valve 30 and the switching valve 31 are arranged in the axial direction (Y direction) and fitted therein. The inner wall of the main pipe portion 210 forms a space enclosing the hot and cold water mixing valve 30 and the switching valve 31, and extends in the axial direction. For resin molding using a mold, the inner wall of the main pipe portion 210 may be inclined so as to slightly expand outward from the center side toward the end side in the axial direction (for example, the inclination angle is 0.2 to 0.5 degrees). Openings into which the hot and cold water mixing valve 30 and the switching valve 31 are inserted are formed at both ends of the main pipe portion 210 in the axial direction (Y direction). Screw grooves are formed at both ends, and are screwed with screw ridges formed on the back side of the cap member 33. The thread groove is formed integrally with the main tube portion 210 from resin.
As shown in fig. 3, the handle unit 50 and the collar 34 are attached to the main tube 210 so as to cover the cap member 33 at both axial ends. The collar 34 is disposed between the handle unit 50 and the main tube portion 210.
< branch pipe for Hot Water supply >
As shown in fig. 4, the hot water supply branch pipe portion 211 is a pipe-shaped member that branches from the main pipe portion 210 and is formed to extend toward the hot water supply source 27. A flow path for supplying hot water from the hot water supply source 27 to the inside of the main pipe portion 210 is formed inside the hot water supply branch pipe portion 211.

The hot water supply branch pipe portion 211 and the cold water supply branch pipe portion 212 are arranged in the axial direction (Y direction) of the main pipe portion 210. That is, the hot water supply branch pipe portion 211 and the cold water supply branch pipe portion 212 are provided adjacent to each other. Specifically, the distance between the hot water supply branch pipe portion 211 and the cold water supply branch pipe portion 212 is smaller than the distance between the hot water supply source 27 and the cold water supply source 28.
< shower head Outlet Branch pipe >
The shower head outlet branch pipe portion 214 is a pipe-shaped member that branches from the main pipe portion 210 and is formed to extend toward the mounting surface to which the faucet 10 is mounted. The shower head outlet branch pipe portion 214 has a flow path extending toward the wall of the bathroom and for discharging the hot and cold water. In embodiment 1, the shower head outlet branch pipe portion 214 is a water outlet pipe for shower outlet. As shown in fig. 4, a connection member 29a is attached to the wall-side end of the shower head outlet branch pipe portion 214.
A faucet according to embodiment 1 of the present invention will be described.
Fig. 5 is a schematic perspective view of a faucet 10A according to embodiment 1 of the present invention. FIG. 6 is an exploded view of the faucet 10A of FIG. 5. In fig. 5 and 6, the components of the faucet 10A are omitted and shown to facilitate the description.
The faucet 10A has the same configuration as that of the above-described resin faucet 10, except that it includes the passage block 80, and the faucet body 21 is connected to the passage block 80 by the flat plate member 90.
As shown in fig. 5 and 6, the faucet 10A includes a resin faucet body 21 and a flow path block 80 attached to the faucet body 21.
< flow path Block >
The passage block 80 is a plate-like member having a 1 st surface PS1 and a 2 nd surface PS2 facing the 1 st surface PS 1. The flow path block 80 is formed of a material such as resin or metal. The 1 st surface PS1 is connected to a mounting surface such as a wall surface of a bathroom, and the 2 nd surface PS2 is connected to the faucet body 21. The flow path block 80 is attached to the flat plate member 90 of the faucet main body 21 by screws, for example.
The flow path block 80 includes a hot water path 81 through which hot water flows, a cold water path 82 through which cold water flows, and a mixed water path 83 through which mixed water in which hot water and cold water are mixed flows.
The hot water path 81 has a hot water path upstream port 81a on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the path block 80, and a hot water path downstream port 81b on the 2 nd surface PS2 side. The hot water path upstream port 81a is connected to a hot water supply port provided on the mounting surface. In the present specification, the hot water supply port refers to an opening through which hot water is supplied from the hot water supply source 27.
The hot water passage downstream port 81b is connected to a hot water inlet 210a of a hot water supply branch pipe portion 211 of the faucet body 21. In the faucet 10A, the hot water supply branch pipe portion 211 is connected to the flat plate-like member 90, and the hot water inlet 210A is provided in the flat plate-like member 90.
The cold water path 82 has a cold water path upstream port 82a on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the path block 80, and a cold water path downstream port 82b on the 2 nd surface PS2 side. The cold water path upstream port 82a is connected to a cold water supply port provided on the mounting surface. In the present specification, the cold water supply port refers to an opening through which cold water is supplied from the cold water supply source 28.
The cold water passage downstream port 82b is connected to a cold water inlet 210b of a cold water supply branch pipe portion 212 of the faucet wooden portion 21. In the faucet 10A, the cold water supply branch pipe portion 212 is connected to the flat plate-like member 90, and the cold water inlet 210b is provided in the flat plate-like member 90.
The mixing water passage 83 has a mixing water passage upstream port 83a on the 2 nd PS2 side of the passage block 80, and a mixing water passage downstream port 83b on the 1 st PS1 side. The mixed water channel upstream port 83a is connected to the mixed water outlet port 210c of the shower head outlet branch pipe portion 214 of the faucet main body 21. In the faucet 10A, the shower head outlet branch pipe portion 214 is connected to the flat plate member 90, and the mixed water outlet 210c is provided in the flat plate member 90. The downstream port 83b of the mixing water path is connected to a shower head, for example.
Fig. 7 is a schematic sectional view of the faucet 10A. FIG. 8 is a schematic sectional view of the faucet of FIG. 5 taken along line A-A. As shown in fig. 7 and 8, the hot water path 81 extends straight from the hot water path upstream port 81a toward the hot water path downstream port 81b without bending. On the other hand, the cold water passage 82 and the mixed water passage 83 are formed by curving.
The arrangement of the hot water path upstream port 81a, the cold water path upstream port 82a, and the mixed water path downstream port 83b on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the flow path block 80 is different from the arrangement of the hot water path downstream port 81b, the cold water path downstream port 82b, and the mixed water path upstream port 83a on the 2 nd surface PS2 side of the flow path block 80.
Specifically, the hot water passage upstream port 81a, the mixed water passage downstream port 83b, and the cold water passage upstream port 82a are arranged in this order from the one side D1 toward the other side D2 on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the passage block 80. On the other hand, on the 2 nd surface PS2 side of the flow path block 80, the hot water path downstream port 81b, the cold water path downstream port 82b, and the mixed water path upstream port 83a are arranged in this order from the one side D1 toward the other side D2.
The 1 st interval B1 between the hot water path upstream port 81a and the cold water path upstream port 82a on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the flow block 80 is different from the 2 nd interval B2 between the hot water path downstream port 81B and the cold water path downstream port 82B on the 2 nd surface PS2 side of the flow block 80.
Specifically, the 2 nd interval B2 is smaller than the 1 st interval B1. The 1 st interval B1 is equal to the interval between the hot water supply port and the cold water supply port provided on the mounting surface. The 2 nd interval B2 is equal to the interval between the hot water inlet 210a and the cold water inlet 210B provided in the faucet body 21.
In embodiment 1, the cold water path 82 is formed by curving the cold water path, so that the cold water path upstream port 82a is provided on the other side D2 on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the flow path block 80, and the cold water path downstream port 82b adjacent to the hot water path downstream port 81b is provided on the one side D1 on the 2 nd surface PS2 side.
The 3 rd interval B3 between the hot water passage upstream port 81a and the mixing water passage downstream port 83B on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the passage block 80 is smaller than the 4 th interval B4 between the hot water passage downstream port 81B and the mixing water passage upstream port 83a on the 2 nd surface PS2 side of the passage block 80. In addition, the 2 nd interval B2 is smaller than the 4 th interval B4.
In embodiment 1, the mixing water channel 83 is formed by curving the mixing water channel 83, so that the mixing water channel upstream port 83a is provided on the other side D2 on the 2 nd surface PS2 side of the channel block 80, and the mixing water channel downstream port 83b is provided between the hot water channel upstream port 81a and the cold water channel upstream port 82a on the 1 st surface PS1 side.
[ Effect ]
According to the faucet 10A of embodiment 1, the following effects can be obtained.
The faucet 10A includes: a resin faucet main body 21; and a flow path block 80 attached to the faucet body 21 and having a hot water path 81, a cold water path 82, and a mixed water path 83. In the faucet 10A, a cold water passage 82 is formed in a curved manner inside the passage block 80. The 1 st interval B1 between the hot water path upstream port 81a and the cold water path upstream port 82a on the 1 st surface PS1 of the flow path block 80 is different from the 2 nd interval B2 between the hot water path downstream port 81B and the cold water path downstream port 82B on the 2 nd surface PS2 of the flow path block 80.
Thus, the hot water upstream port 81a and the cold water upstream port 82a can be provided on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the flow path block 80 at positions corresponding to the hot water supply port and the cold water supply port provided on the installation surface of a conventional bathroom or the like, respectively. Further, on the PS2 side of the 2 nd surface of the flow path block 80, a hot water path downstream port 81b and a cold water path downstream port 82b can be provided at positions corresponding to the hot water inlet 210a and the cold water inlet 210b provided in the faucet body 21, respectively.
For example, the 1 st interval B1 between the hot water upstream port 81a and the cold water upstream port 82a on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the flow path block 80 may be equal to the interval between the hot water supply port and the cold water supply port on the mounting surface. The 2 nd interval B2 between the hot water path downstream port 81B and the cold water path downstream port 82B on the 2 nd surface PS2 side of the flow path block 80 can be made smaller than the 1 st interval B1. This makes it possible to equalize the interval B2 and the interval between the hot water inlet 210a and the cold water inlet 210B of the faucet body 21.
With this configuration, the faucet 10A can be easily mounted on a mounting surface. For example, it is advantageous when the positions of the hot water inlet 210a and the cold water inlet 210b of the resin faucet body 21 and the positions of the hot water supply port and the cold water supply port on the mounting surface are different from each other. In such a case, by connecting the faucet body 21 and the mounting surface via the passage block 80, the hot water inlet 210a and the cold water inlet 210b of the faucet body 21 can be easily connected to the hot water supply port and the cold water supply port of the mounting surface.
The flow path block 80 is provided between the faucet body 21 and the attachment surface. This enables effective use of the dead space between the faucet body 21 and the attachment surface.
In the flow path block 80, the mixing water path 83 is formed by bending.
For example, on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the flow path block 80, the hot water path upstream port 81a, the mixed water path downstream port 83b, and the cold water path upstream port 82a may be arranged in this order from the one side D1 toward the other side D2. Further, on the 2 nd surface PS2 side, the hot water passage downstream port 81b, the cold water passage downstream port 82b, and the mixed water passage upstream port 83a may be arranged in this order from the one side D1 toward the other side D2.
Further, the 3 rd interval B3 between the hot water passage upstream port 81a on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the flow block 80 and the mixing water passage downstream port 83B can be made smaller than the 4 th interval B4 between the hot water passage downstream port 81B on the 2 nd surface PS2 side of the flow block 80 and the mixing water passage upstream port 83 a. Further, the 2 nd interval B2 can be made smaller than the 4 th interval B4.
With this configuration, the mixed water discharged from the mixed water channel upstream port 83a provided on the other side D2 of the faucet body 21 can be discharged from the mixed water channel downstream port 83b between the hot water channel upstream port 81a and the cold water channel upstream port 82a on the 1 st surface PS1 side of the channel block 80 through the mixed water channel 83. That is, the mixing water channel downstream port 83b can be provided near the center of the faucet 10A. As a result, the aesthetics of the faucet 10A are improved.
In embodiment 1, an example in which the hot water passage 81 is not bent but the cold water passage 82 and the mixed water passage 83 are bent in the passage block 80 has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this. In the flow path block 80, at least one of the hot water path 81, the cold water path 82, and the mixed water path 83 may be formed in a curved shape.
The description has been given of an example in which the flow path block 80 includes the hot water path 81, the cold water path 82, and the mixed water path 83, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the flow path block 80 may not have the mixing water path 83. That is, in the flow path block 80, the mixing water path 83 is not an essential structure.
The present invention has been described in each embodiment with a certain degree of detail, but the disclosure of these embodiments should be changed in detail in the structure. Further, combinations of elements and changes in the order of the elements of the embodiments can be implemented without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
