本申请提供了一种数据查询方法、应用和数据库服务器、中间件及系统，属于数据库技术领域。所述方法包括：获取数据查询请求，根据数据查询请求生成数据查询脚本；将数据查询脚本发送至数据存储系统；接收数据存储系统执行数据查询脚本得到的结果。本申请获取数据查询请求，根据数据查询请求生成数据查询脚本；将数据查询脚本发送至数据存储系统；接收数据存储系统执行数据查询脚本得到的结果，使得仅向数据存储系统发送一次数据查询脚本，数据存储系统即可根据数据查询脚本获取最终结果，降低了与数据存储系统之间的访问次数，提高数据查询效率。
