Description

Fixing device for plug-in connector
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of plug-in type connecting devices, and particularly relates to a fixing device for a plug-in type connector.
Background
In medical devices, it is often necessary to connect to the medical device using a connector, such as a plug-in connection, in order to read or process information of the medical device. Generally, the plug-in connector is directly welded on the PCB through the output pin, and for the plug-in connector which needs to be frequently plugged, a pulling prevention measure and a twisting prevention measure are required to protect the welding point and the output pin so as to prevent the welding point from being pulled off and the output pin from being twisted off.
At present, for the anti-pulling measures, such plug-in connectors are generally realized by axial (pulling force direction) mechanical limit: the limiting structure provides a force opposite to the direction of the drawing force to offset the external drawing force, so that the welding spot is prevented from being disengaged under stress; for the anti-twisting measure, the twisting moment is usually counteracted by the cooperation of the structural member with a non-circular hole (e.g. a square hole) and the plug-in connector, for example, the USB plug-in connector commonly used at present relies on the square hole on the housing to prevent twisting.
From a specific structural way, there are two main categories: in the first type, the plug-in connector is fixed on a PCB board through a screw and a pressing part, and the plug-in connector is axially and circumferentially fixed, so that the structure is relatively complex; and in the second type, adjacent structural parts are used for limiting. The limiting structure requires that the size in the axial direction (the direction of drawing force) and the circumferential direction (the direction of torsional force) must be accurate so as to ensure that the limiting structure is stressed first, but not a welding spot and an output pin. Generally, axial stops can be made with a height setting feature to ensure accuracy. Circumferential restraint requires the use of non-circular holes in the adjacent structural member (e.g., housing). However, the precision of the mating of such structures is often limited due to the large number of associated parts, the length of the mating dimension, and the clearance between the holes and the plug connector to ensure interchangeability between the parts. Thus, when the plug-in connector is subjected to torsion, the output pins of the plug-in connector are stressed first instead of the matching surface of the hole and the plug-in connector. The structure is only suitable for occasions with low requirements on the anti-twisting function.
Disclosure of Invention
The present disclosure has been made in view of the above-described state of the art, and an object thereof is to provide a fixing device for a plug connector, which has a simple structure and improved pull-out prevention and twist prevention functions.
To this end, the present disclosure provides a fixing device for a plug-in connector, comprising: the hollow structure is used for being connected with the plug-in connector, the inner side of the hollow structure is provided with a flat matching surface, and the inner wall of the hollow structure is provided with a limiting part for limiting the movement of the plug-in connector; and a plurality of legs provided to the hollow structure and extending in a length direction of the hollow structure to protrude from the hollow structure.
In the fixing device for the plug-in connector according to the present disclosure, the stopper portion may limit the depth of insertion of the plug-in connector, the plurality of legs may disperse the twisting force during twisting, and the flat mating surface inside the hollow structure may limit twisting of the plug-in connector, thereby reducing the possibility of breakage and twisting of the output pins of the plug-in connector.
Further, in the fixing device according to the present disclosure, optionally, the hollow structure has a reinforcing rib provided at a mating place with the plug-in connector. Thereby, the fitting tightness of the card connector can be increased.
Further, in the fixing device according to the present disclosure, the reinforcing rib may be provided at the flat mating surface. Thereby, the tightness of the flat mating surface and the insert can be increased.
In addition, in the fixing device related to the present disclosure, optionally, the reinforcing rib is selected from one or more of a triangular rib, a square rib, or a semicircular rib. This makes it possible to select different ribs in different situations.
In addition, in the fixing device according to the present disclosure, a stopper portion is optionally further provided in the hollow structure, the stopper portion being close to the leg. In this case, the insertion of the plug connector output pin can be guided by the shift portion, and the displacement of the plug connector output pin in the fixing device can also be reduced.
In addition, in the fixing device according to the present disclosure, optionally, the plurality of legs are uniformly distributed on the outer circumference of the hollow structure. Therefore, the supporting legs can be uniformly stressed, and the possibility of displacement is reduced.
In addition, this disclosure still provides a plug-in components formula connecting device, its characterized in that includes: a plug-in connector having a body which can be connected to a plug-in fitting and has a thread, and an output pin connected to the body; and the fixing device.

In addition, in the plug-in connector according to the present disclosure, a fastening mechanism cooperating with the body may be further included.
In addition, in the card connector device according to the present disclosure, the card connector is optionally provided with a mark for indicating a direction. This can reduce the occurrence of misalignment or the like during insertion.
In addition, in the plug-in type connecting device according to the present disclosure, an outer portion of the plug-in type connector may be provided with a screw thread. This allows the plug connector to be reinforced even more by the fastening mechanism.
In addition, in the plug-in type connecting device according to the present disclosure, optionally, the plug-in type connector is further provided with a flat position. Under the condition, the connector can be better matched with the flat position matching surface of the fixing device, so that the torsion moment applied to the plug-in connector is reduced, and the possibility of the occurrence of the twisting and breaking conditions of the output pin of the plug-in connector is reduced.
According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide a fixing device for a plug-in connector having a simple structure and improved pull-out prevention and twist prevention functions.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description, the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description thereof is omitted. The drawings are schematic and the ratio of the dimensions of the components and the shapes of the components may be different from the actual ones.
Fig. 1 is a schematic view showing a use state of a plug-in type connection device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 2 is a schematic sectional view showing a card type connection device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 3 is an exploded view showing a card type connection device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 4 is a perspective view of a card connector showing a card connecting device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
The present disclosure relates to a card connector device 1 (sometimes also referred to as "connector device 1"), the card connector device 1 comprising a fixing device 10 for a card connector and a card connector 20 (see fig. 1 and 2).
In some examples, the plug-in connection device 1 may be fixed to, for example, an external panel 3 of a host, and the plug-in connection device 1 is further soldered to a PCB board 2 inside the host. Here, the card connector 20 may be connected with a functional module on the PCB board 2, so that, for example, an external medical device can perform, for example, signal processing or data exchange through a host.
In the present embodiment, the card connector 20 may have a body 21 connected with a plug-in fitting and an output pin 22 (see fig. 4). Through the fixing device 10, the deformation and fracture of the output pin 22 of the plug-in connector 20 caused by torsion in the plugging process can be reduced, and in addition, the plug-in connector 20 can accurately enter a proper height through the limiting part 122, so that the problems of excessive insertion and the like are avoided.
Fig. 5 is a perspective view schematically illustrating the fixing device 10 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
In the present embodiment, the fixing device 10 for the card connector may include: a hollow structure 11 and a plurality of legs 12 (see fig. 4). The hollow structure 11 may be used for connecting with the plug-in connector 20, and may have a flat mating surface 121 on the inner side thereof, and a stopper 122 for limiting the movement of the plug-in connector 1 may be further provided on the inner wall of the hollow structure 11. In addition, a plurality of legs 12 may be provided to the hollow structure 11 and extend along the length direction of the hollow structure 11 to protrude from the hollow structure 11.
In this case, in the fixing device 1, the stopper portion 122 limits the depth of insertion of the connecting device 1, the plurality of legs 12 disperse the twisting force at the time of twisting, and the flat mating surface 121 inside the hollow structure 11 limits the twisting of the card connector 20, whereby the possibility of breakage or twisting of the output pins 22 of the card connector 20 can be reduced.
In some examples, the hollow structure 11 of the fixation device 10 may have a connection end 110 and an insertion end 120 (see fig. 4). In this case, the card connector 20 may be inserted into the hollow structure 11 of the fixture 10 through the insertion end 120 and mate the legs 12 of the fixture 10 with the PCB board 2 through the connection end 110.
In the present embodiment, in some examples, the insertion end 120 may be provided with a flat mating surface 121 (see fig. 5). Thereby, the card connector 20 can be tightly connected by the flat mating face 121.
In some examples, the flat mating surface 121 may be disposed at a periphery of the insertion end 120. In some examples, a plurality of flat mating surfaces 121 may be provided at the periphery of the insertion end 120.
In some examples, a stopper 122 may be disposed at an interface of the connection end 110 and an inner wall of the insertion end 120 (see fig. 6). This makes it possible to limit the depth of insertion of the card connector 20 when inserting the card connector 20 into the hollow structure 11. In some examples, the stop 122 may be a step formed by the connecting end 110 being offset from the insertion end 120.
In some examples, at the connecting end 110 of the hollow structure 11, at least two legs 12 (in the example of fig. 4, legs 12a, 12b, and 12c) may be provided along the length of the connecting end 110. This enables the fixing device 10 to be stably fixed to the PCB 2.
In some examples, a plurality of holes may be provided in the PCB 2 for engaging with the legs 12, in which case the legs 12 are capable of engaging with the holes in the PCB 2 when the fixture 1 is secured to the PCB 2.
Fig. 6 is a schematic sectional view showing the fixing device 10 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
In some examples, the fixation device 10 may be made of a rubber-plastic material, such as: may be composed of one or more of ABS, modified ABS copolymer, ABS/PVC or ABS/SMA.
As shown in fig. 6, in some examples, the hollow structure 11 may be substantially cylindrical. Thereby, the insertion of the card connector 20 can be facilitated. In other examples, the hollow structure 11 may also be cylindrical, prismatic, truncated cone, or other irregular shapes, for example. Thus, it is possible to fit connectors of different shapes.
As shown in fig. 5, in some examples, the limiting portion 122 may be a protrusion at the interface of the connecting end 110 and the inner wall of the insertion end 120. Specifically, the stopper portion 122 may protrude or partially protrude along the width direction of the inner wall. In other examples, the hollow structure 11 may also be formed by reducing the inner diameter of the connecting end 110 to form the limiting portion 122. In this case, the insertion depth of the card connector 20 after being inserted through the insertion end 120 is limited by the stopper portion 122, thereby enabling the card connector 20 to be more tightly coupled with the fixing device 10 and preventing the card connector 20 from being inserted too deeply.
In some examples, a stop 123 may also be provided in the hollow structure 11, close to the foot 12. Specifically, the shift portion 123 is provided at the connection end 110 portion. In some examples, the gear 123 may protrude annularly or partially along the inner wall. Thereby, the depth of insertion of the leg 12 into the PCB board 2 can be limited.
In other examples, the hollow structure 11 may also be formed by reducing the inner diameter of a portion of the connecting end 110 to form the stopper 123. In this case, the insertion of the output pins 22 of the card connector 20 can be guided by the stopper portions 123, and the displacement of the output pins 22 of the card connector 20 in the fixture 10 can also be reduced.
In some examples, the legs 12 may be generally cylindrical, which may be formed at the outer periphery of the hollow structure 11. In some examples, as shown in fig. 5, the legs 12a, 12b, and 12c may extend along the length of the hollow structure 11 and protrude from the hollow structure 11. Thereby, the legs 12 can be better bonded to the PCB board 2, thereby reducing the torsion force to which the output pins 22 of the card connector 20 are subjected.
In some examples, the plurality of legs 12 may be evenly distributed around the circumference of the hollow structure 11. Therefore, the supporting legs 12 are uniformly stressed, and the possibility of displacement is reduced. In addition, in other examples, the plurality of legs 12 may also be non-uniformly distributed around the circumference of the hollow structure 11. Thereby, the arrangement can be made according to the wiring arrangement of the PCB board 2.
In some examples, the legs 12 may also have a hollow structure. In other examples, the inner wall of the hollow structure of the leg 12 may also have threads. In this case, the connection between the leg 12 and the PCB 2 can be further tightened by screws or pressing parts after the leg 12 is connected to the PCB 2.
In some examples, the legs 12 may also be tapered. Specifically, the legs 12 taper from a proximal end near the insertion end 120 to a distal end away from the insertion end 120. Thereby, the fitting of the leg 12 with the PCB board 2 can be facilitated.
In some examples, the hollow structure 11 has a stiffener 123 disposed at the mating with the body 21 of the plug connector 20. Specifically, the reinforcing ribs 123 are provided along the longitudinal direction of the hollow structure. Thereby, the fitting tightness of the card connector 20 can be increased.
In some examples, the stiffener 123 may be disposed at the flat mating face 121. In some examples, the stiffener bars 123 may be disposed in parallel at the flat mating face 121. Specifically, there may be two or three flat mating surfaces 121 disposed on the same flat surface. Thereby, the tightness of the flat mating surface 121 with the insert can be increased.
In addition, in some examples, the reinforcing ribs 123 may also be provided at the mating of the hollow structure 11 and the body 21 of the card connector 20 in the inner circumferential direction.
In some examples, the reinforcing ribs 123 are selected from one or more of triangular ribs, square ribs, or semi-circular ribs. This enables selection of different ribs 123 depending on the situation.
In addition, in some examples, the plug-in connection device 1 may further include a fastening mechanism 30 (see fig. 3) that cooperates with the body 21. In some examples, the fastening mechanism 30 may be an outer nut 31 and an inner nut 32 that mate with each other. The outer nut 31 and the inner nut 32 are screwed with the body 21 of the insert connector 20, in which case the insert connector 20 can be fixed to the outer panel 3 by the outer nut 31 and the inner nut 32.
In some examples, the body 21 of the plug connector 20 may be cylindrical. In other examples, the body 21 may also be prismatic or irregular in shape, etc. Therefore, the operation and the holding can be convenient.
In some examples, the card connector 20 may also be provided with a flat position 211. In this case, the flat-position mating surface 121 of the fixing device 10 can be better fitted, so that the torsional moment applied to the card connector 20 is reduced, and the possibility of occurrence of twisting, breaking or the like of the output pin 22 of the card connector 20 is reduced. In some examples, a plurality of flats 211, e.g., two, may be provided on the outer circumference of the card connector 20.
In some examples, the outer diameter of the card connector 20 may be greater than the inner diameter of the stop portion 122 of the fixture 10. This allows the fixing device 10 to limit the depth of insertion of the card connector 20.
In some examples, the length of the output pin 22 of the card connector 20 is greater than the length of the connection end 110 of the fixture 10. This ensures that the output pins 22 of the card connector 20 are connected to the PCB board 2 inside the host, for example. In some examples, the output pins 22 may be soldered on the PCB board 2 to be electrically connected with the PCB board 2.
In other examples, the card connector 20 may also have an extension 23 (see fig. 4). In some examples, the outer diameter of the extension 23 may be smaller than or equal to the inner diameter of the limiting portion 122 of the fixing device 10, and the output pins 22 of the card connector 20 are disposed on the extension 23. In this case, the extension 23 is not affected by the stopper 122, and the depth of insertion of the output pin 22 of the card connector 20 can be increased.
In some examples, the exterior of the plug connector 20 may also have threads. In this case, the outer nut 31 and the inner nut 32 of the plug-in connection device 1 may be fixed with the plug-in connector 20 by means of screw threads (see fig. 3).
In some examples, the outer panel 3 may be clamped between the inner nut 32 and the outer nut 31. This allows the external panel 3 and the card connector 20 to be tightly joined to each other, thereby reducing damage to the output pins 22 of the card connector 20 during card drawing.
In some examples, the card connector 20 may be provided with indicia 212 for indicating orientation. Thereby, the insert can be guided to be inserted into the insertion end 120 of the hollow structure 11 in the correct direction.
In some examples, the marking 212 may be a groove disposed on the inner wall along the length of the card connector 20. In other examples, the markings 212 may also be provided on the outer periphery of the body 21.
Further, in other examples, the markings 212 may also be protrusions, stripes, patterns, and the like. Thereby, the method can be adapted to different application environments.
While the present disclosure has been described in detail above with reference to the drawings and the embodiments, it should be understood that the above description does not limit the present disclosure in any way. Those skilled in the art can make modifications and variations to the present disclosure as needed without departing from the true spirit and scope of the disclosure, which fall within the scope of the disclosure.
