Abstract
The invention relates to a novel single-phase motor which comprises a rotor, a stator, a plurality of main windings and a plurality of auxiliary windings, wherein the main windings and the auxiliary windings are wound on the stator, the auxiliary windings are positioned between two adjacent main windings, the main windings are connected with a first connection wire, a second connection wire, a third connection wire and a fourth connection wire, the first connection wire and the fourth connection wire are connected in series, the second connection wire and the third connection wire are connected in series, a loop formed by the first connection wire and the fourth connection wire is connected in parallel with a loop formed by the second connection wire and the third connection wire, a first adjusting resistor is connected in series on the first connection wire, a second adjusting resistor is connected in series on the second connection wire, and a starting capacitor is connected in series on the auxiliary windings. The invention can realize the mutual switching of the motor on the working voltage of 220V and 110V without an additional voltage converter, and is beneficial to reducing the use cost of the motor and the loss of electric energy.
