Fig. 2 is a schematic flowchart of a method for prompting wireless access point information at a server according to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in fig. 2, including the following steps:
step S21, acquiring an acquisition request sent by the wireless equipment; wherein the acquisition request includes identification information of the wireless access point;
step S22, inquiring the statistical information of the wireless access point; (ii) a
And step S23, returning the statistical information of the wireless access points to the wireless device, so that the wireless device prompts at least part of the scanning information and the statistical information of the wireless access points in the process of attempting to establish connection with the network through one of the scanned at least one wireless access point.
The execution subject of the method shown in fig. 2 may be a server. The definitions of the wireless device, the server, and the wireless access point are described in detail in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and are not described herein again.
In a preferred implementation of step S21;
the server acquires an acquisition request sent by a client installed in the wireless equipment; the acquisition request comprises a wireless access point scanning list established according to the identification information of the wireless access points scanned by the wireless equipment.
The identification information may include, but is not limited to, SSID (Service Set Identifier) information of a wireless access point, and is used to identify a wireless network corresponding to the wireless access point. The wireless access point can encapsulate the SSID (Service Set Identifier) information thereof in the non-encrypted part of the data packet, and broadcast the SSID information in a broadcast manner.
Preferably, the identification information is SSID information and BSSID information of the wireless access point.
Preferably, the WiFi module of the wireless device scans for wireless access points in the vicinity of the wireless device, and obtains scanning information, such as encryption type (WEP, WAP-PSK, WPA2-PSK), whether config (i.e., information indicating whether the wireless device is connected to the wireless access point) has been created, signal strength, etc., of one or more of the scanned wireless access points, and provides the scanning information of the one or more wireless access points to the client of the wireless device for use or storage thereof. The acquisition request further includes scanning information for the one or more wireless access points. The scanning information includes information directly obtained by scanning wireless access points in the vicinity of the wireless device and information (such as whether config has been created or not) queried in locally generated data after scanning wireless access points in the vicinity of the wireless device.
In one preferred implementation of step S22,
the server searches and determines statistical information of the corresponding wireless access point based on SSID information and BSSID information of the wireless access point. Specifically, the server stores a large amount of wireless access points and statistical information corresponding to the wireless access points. Each wireless access point stored in the server is uniquely determined with its corresponding SSID information and BSSID information.
Preferably, the statistical information of the wireless access point is obtained by the server sending a statistical information query request to the wireless access point. And the server sends a statistical query request to the wireless access points in the scanning list according to the scanning list included in the acquisition request, and acquires the statistical information returned by the wireless access points according to the query request.
Preferably, the statistical information of the wireless access point is obtained by a server through query in a statistical information database periodically received from the wireless access point.
