The invention discloses a D-shaped split rear axle housing assembly of a mining dump truck, which comprises: the rear axle housing, the half axle sleeves and the bolts, wherein the two half axle sleeves are respectively connected to two ends of the rear axle housing through the bolts; the two ends of the rear axle housing are provided with inner cylindrical surfaces, and the end part of the rear axle housing outside the inner cylindrical surfaces is provided with a D-shaped threaded hole group; the end part of the half shaft sleeve is provided with an outer cylindrical surface which is matched with the inner cylindrical surface for use; the end face of the half shaft sleeve outside the outer cylindrical surface is provided with a D-shaped through hole group, the threaded holes of the D-shaped threaded hole group correspond to the through holes of the D-shaped through hole group, and the bolts penetrate through the through holes and are connected to the threaded holes. In the invention, the half-axle sleeve and the rear axle housing are connected together through the bolts, the manufacturing process is little influenced by external factors, and the half-axle sleeve is easy to disassemble and assemble from the vehicle.

The mining dump truck is an important transportation device for open-pit mining, the rear axle housing assembly bears about 70% of load in the use process of the vehicle, and the mining dump truck is severe in use environment, so that the requirements on the strength and the fatigue life of the rear axle housing assembly are high.

The end face of the half shaft sleeve 2 outside the outer cylindrical surface 21 is provided with a D-shaped through hole group, and the D-shaped through hole group comprises: a C-shaped through hole group 22 and a longitudinal through hole group 23. The longitudinal through hole group 23 includes at least two through holes, and the plurality of through holes are arranged in a straight line; the plurality of through holes in the C-shaped through hole group 22 are arranged in a C-shape.
The threaded holes of the D-shaped threaded hole group correspond to the through holes of the D-shaped through hole group, and the bolts 3 penetrate through the through holes to be connected to the threaded holes.
When the rear axle housing is installed, the outer cylindrical surface 21 of the axle housing 2 is connected into the inner cylindrical surface 11 of the rear axle housing 1, the through holes of the D-shaped through hole group of the axle housing 2 are aligned with the threaded holes of the D-shaped threaded hole group of the rear axle housing 1, and the axle housing 2 and the rear axle housing 1 are connected together by the bolts 3. The outer cylindrical surface 21 of the half axle sleeve 2 is matched with the inner cylindrical surface 11 of the rear axle housing 1, and the matching surface can play a role in positioning.
