The terminal equipment: the internet provided by the router may be accessed by connecting to the router, which may access network resources on the server.
The application program comprises the following steps: the router plug-in installation method can be installed on terminal equipment, so that the terminal equipment can be used as client equipment for detecting attribute information of a router, controlling an installation program for downloading and installing plug-ins on the router and the like.
A network system to which the embodiments of the present invention are applied will be described below. Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a network system to which a method for installing a plug-in of a router according to an embodiment of the present invention is applied. As shown in fig. 1, a network system to which the method for installing a plug-in to a router according to the embodiment of the present invention is applied may include: client devices, routers, servers, and the like. The client device may be a terminal device installed with an application program of a router, and the terminal device may be any device such as a desktop computer, a notebook, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a smart phone, and a tablet computer. The application program of the router may be an application program for setting or controlling the router. The terminal equipment is connected with the router to access the local area network of the router, and the router is also connected with the gateway of the internet, so that the terminal equipment can realize the access of the internet through the connection with the router.
In the solution provided in the embodiment of the present invention, after establishing connection with a router, a client device may obtain attribute information of the router in a local area network of the router, establish remote control connection with the router, control the router to download a plug-in corresponding to the router from a server according to the attribute information of the router through the remote control connection, and control the router to install the plug-in when determining that the plug-in is successfully downloaded to the router. After the plug-in of the router is installed, the host equipment connected with the router can realize the function corresponding to the plug-in by operating the plug-in. The host device may be, for example, a game (PS) device. The plug-in related by the invention can be an acceleration plug-in, and can also be other functional plug-ins. Taking the acceleration plug-in as an example, the router is remotely controlled by the client device to install the acceleration plug-in, so that the acceleration of the host device connected with the router can be realized.
The following describes a method, an apparatus, a device, and a storage medium for installing a plug-in of a router according to embodiments of the present invention with reference to a plurality of examples.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for installing a plug-in of a router according to an embodiment of the present invention. The method shown in fig. 2 may be performed interactively by a client device and a router. As shown in fig. 2, the plug-in installation method of the router shown in this embodiment may include the following steps:
s201, the client device obtains attribute information of the router.
In one approach, the client device may obtain attribute information for a router.
For example, the client device may send a request to the router after establishing a connection with the router, and parse a response returned by the router to obtain the attribute information of the router. In practical applications, the client device may send the request in any of the following protocols: simple Service Discovery Protocol (SSDP), Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), User Datagram Protocol (UDP), or hypertext transfer Protocol (HTTP), for example. Here, the client device establishes a connection with the router, which may mean that the client device establishes a wireless connection, such as a WIFI connection, with the router to access the local area network of the router.
In another way, the client device may also obtain attribute information of the router from a history. The client device may also obtain the attribute information of the router in other manners, which is not described herein again.
Optionally, the attribute information of the router may include at least one of the following information: the device model number of the router, the product serial number of the router, the manufacturer of the router, the web address of the router, the firmware version of the router, etc.
Because different routers may use different processors and firmware, some routers use processors with an instruction set of Advanced reduced instruction set computer Machines (Advanced RISC Machines, ARM) -V7, and some routers use processors with an instruction set of single-length fixed-point instruction average execution speed (MIPS). A plug-in compiled for one instruction set cannot run on the processor of another instruction set. Therefore, in order to ensure the accuracy of downloading the version of the plug-in and the success rate of installing the plug-in, the client device needs to acquire the attribute information of the router first. The attribute information of the router is at least used for characterizing information such as an operating instruction set of a processor on the router.
S202, the client device and the router establish remote control connection.
The client device may establish a remote control connection with the router by logging on to the router and controlling the router to turn on a remote function.
S203, the client device controls the router through the remote control connection to download the plug-in corresponding to the router from the server according to the attribute information of the router.
The client device can send a control message including the attribute information of the router to the router through the remote control connection, and the control message is used for enabling the router to download the plug-in corresponding to the router from the server according to the attribute information of the router. The plug-in corresponding to the router can be the plug-in determined by the attribute of the router from the server. Downloading the plug-in corresponding to the router refers to downloading an installer of the plug-in, and the like.
And under the condition that the client equipment acquires the attribute information of the router, sending a control message comprising the attribute information of the router to the router through the established remote control connection, so that the router downloads the plug-in corresponding to the router from the server according to the attribute information of the router.
S204, the router downloads the plug-in corresponding to the router from the server according to the attribute information of the router under the control of the remote control connection of the client device.
In a specific implementation, after obtaining the control message from the client device, the router may send a download request including attribute information of the router to a server, and receive an installer of the plug-in returned by the server, so as to implement downloading of the plug-in. The plug-in may be a plug-in determined by the server based on the attribute information of the router. The download request may be, for example, an HTTP request.
The router can check whether the old version of the plug-in exists in the preset directory of the router in the process of downloading the plug-in from the server, and if so, delete the old version of the plug-in according to the old version of the plug-in. The old version of the plug-in may be the previous version of the plug-in that the router has installed.
S205, if the plug-in is determined to be successfully downloaded to the router, the client device controls the router to install the plug-in.
S206, the router installs the plug-in under the control of the client device.
The router can inform the client device of the downloading progress of the plug-in the plug-in downloading process. The client device can determine whether the plug-in is successfully downloaded based on the downloading progress, and if the plug-in is successfully downloaded to the router, the client device can also control the router to install the plug-in through the remote control connection, namely, the router is controlled to run an installation program of the plug-in, so that the installation of the plug-in is realized.
The router can store the plug-in downloaded from the server into a preset directory of the router, and then run an installation program of the plug-in under the preset directory to realize the installation of the plug-in.
The router can also start the plug-in after the plug-in is installed, and if the plug-in can be started, the success of the plug-in installation can be determined; otherwise, if the plug-in fails to start, the plug-in installation failure can be determined.
If the plug-in installation is successful, the router can return a notification message including first indication information to the client device, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating that the plug-in installation on the router is completed. The client device, upon receiving the notification message including the first indication information, may also display the first indication information on a user interface of an application for presentation to a user.
If the plug-in installation fails, the router may delete the downloaded plug-in, and may return a notification message including second indication information to the client device, where the second indication information indicates that the plug-in installation fails on the router. The client device, upon receiving the notification message including the second indication information, may also display the second indication information on a user interface of an application for presentation to a user. Wherein the second indication information may include: error code of plug-in installation failure.
The router may control a host device connected to the router by running the plug-in after the plug-in is installed. The router may run the plug-in after it is installed, thereby controlling the host device connected to the router. The router may also send a notification to the client device after the plug-in is installed, and run the plug-in upon receiving a control message sent by the client device, thereby controlling the host device connected to the router.
According to the method for installing the plug-in of the router provided by the embodiment of the invention, the router is controlled to download the plug-in corresponding to the router from the server according to the attribute information of the router through the remote control connection by acquiring the attribute information of the router and establishing the remote control connection with the router, and the router is controlled to install the plug-in if the plug-in is determined to be successfully downloaded to the router, so that the selection and installation of the plug-in by a user are not required, the time consumption of plug-in installation is reduced, and the success rate of plug-in installation is improved.
On the basis of the plug-in installation method of the router shown in fig. 2, an embodiment of the present invention may further provide a plug-in installation method of a router. This embodiment may provide an example in which the client device acquires the attribute information of the router. Fig. 3 is a flowchart of another method for installing a plug-in a router according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, the obtaining, by the client device, the attribute information of the router in S201 as shown above may include:
s301, the client device sends a first request to the router.
If the first request is a request sent by the client device by using SSDP, the first request may be a discovery (discover) request message sent by SSDP, or an alive request message. The discovery request message may also be referred to as a mobile discovery message and the acquisition request message may also be referred to as a notification message.
In one approach, the client device may establish a connection with the router such that the client application installed in the client device accesses the local area network of the router, and then the client device may send a discovery request message to an SSDP port of a preset unicast or multicast address using a mobile discovery (M-SEARCH) method, where the discovery request message may be "SSDP: discover "message. The discovery request message may include: information of the SSDP port. The SSDP port may be an Application Program Interface (API) on the router corresponding to the predetermined unicast or multicast address.
In another way, the client device may establish a connection with the router, and whether the client application installed by the client device is a local area network of the router or not, the client device may send a capture request message, which may be "SSDP: alive' message. The acquisition request message may also include: information of the SSDP port. The SSDP port may be an Application Program Interface (API) on the router corresponding to the predetermined unicast or multicast address.
S302, the client device receives a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) returned by the router when the router monitors the first request.
The router may return a response including the URL to the client device in the event that the first request is intercepted. The URL may point to a resource location on the router where attribute information for the router may be stored.
S303, the client device obtains the attribute information of the router by accessing the resource of the URL on the router.
The client device can send an access request including the URL to a router when acquiring the URL, where the access request is used to access the resource on the URL on the router, and receive an access response including the attribute information of the router returned by the router, so as to implement access to the resource of the URL on the router.
According to the method for installing the plug-in of the router provided by the embodiment of the invention, the obtained attribute information of the router is more accurate by providing the implementation mode for obtaining the attribute information of the router, so that the success rate of plug-in installation is ensured.
On the basis of the plug-in installation method of the router shown in fig. 2, an embodiment of the present invention may further provide a plug-in installation method of a router. This embodiment may provide another example in which the client device obtains attribute information of the router. Fig. 4 is a flowchart of a method for installing a plug-in a router according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 4, the obtaining, by the client device, the attribute information of the router in S201 as shown above may include:
s401, the client device sends a second request to the router.
The second request may be a request sent via any of TCP, UDP, or HTTP, and the second request may be a probe message. The probe message may also be referred to as a service probe message, or a service send request.
The management of the router may be generally performed through a preset service, which may be a management service of the router. And the service may have a corresponding protocol and port. Therefore, the client device may send a second request to the port using the predetermined protocol to probe the port. The preset protocol may be any one of TCP, UDP, or HTTP, for example.
S402, the client device receives the domain name returned by the router when the router monitors the second request.
The router may return a response including the domain name to the client device in the event that the second request is snooped. The domain name may be an administrative domain name for the router.
S403, the client device accesses the router according to the domain name, and obtains an Internet Protocol (IP) address pointed by the domain name.
The client device may send an access request including the domain name to the router when acquiring the URL, where the access request is used to access the service of the domain name on the router, and receive an access response including the attribute information of the router returned by the router, thereby implementing access to the domain name on the router.
S404, the client device analyzes the IP address to obtain the attribute information of the router.
The IP address is an IP address pointed to by the domain name, and the client device can obtain the attribute information of the router by continuing the IP address pointed to by the domain name.
On the other hand, when the client device accesses the router according to the domain name, the client device may further obtain resources such as a URL of a management service on the router, a page text description, and the like, and obtain attribute information of the router by analyzing the resources.
According to the method for installing the plug-in of the router provided by the embodiment of the invention, another implementation mode for acquiring the attribute information of the router is provided, so that the acquired attribute information of the router is more accurate, and the success rate of plug-in installation is ensured.
On the basis of the plug-in installation method of the router described in any one of fig. 2 to fig. 4, an embodiment of the present invention may further provide a plug-in installation method of a router. This embodiment may provide an example in which the client device controls the router for plug-in download and installation. Fig. 5 is a flowchart of a plug-in installation method for a router according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 5, before the client device establishes the remote control connection with the router in S202 as shown above, the method may further include:
s501, the client device sends a third request to the router, where the login request includes: and (5) logging in information.
The third request is for the router to be authenticating the login information.
The third request may be a login request, and the third request may be a request sent by the client device in the HTTP protocol, such as a HTTP POST (POST) request. The client device may carry the login information in the message body of the third request, and send the third request to the router. The login information may include, for example: the router has information such as a login user name and a login password. The third request is for the router to authenticate the login information.
S502, the client device receives a login token returned by the router in response to the third request.
The login token is used for indicating that the login information element passes the verification, namely that the client device is logged in the router.
S503, the client device sends a fourth request to the router, where the fourth request includes: the login token and the rights setting parameters.
The fourth request is for causing the router to open a remote function of the router according to the permission setting parameter. The permission setting parameter may be a setting parameter of a remote function of the router.
Optionally, the remote function of the router includes: remote access functions, and/or remote control functions. The remote access function may be a Secure Shell (SSH) function. The remote control function may be a telnet function, also known as a telnet function.
In the permission setting parameters, the setting parameters of the SSH function may be, for example, enable parameters of the SSH function, which may be represented as SSH _ enable; in the permission setting parameter, the setting parameter of the telnet function may be, for example, an enable parameter of the telnet function, which may be referred to as telnet _ enable.
And the fourth request sent by the client device to the router comprises the login token and the permission setting parameter, so that the client device can use the login token to control the router to open the remote function according to the permission setting parameter.
S504, the router opens the remote function of the router according to the permission setting parameters.
And after receiving the fourth request, the router can detect whether the login token is correct, if so, determine whether the permission setting parameter is correct, and if so, open the remote function of the router according to the permission setting parameter. The fact that the login token is correct means that the login token is issued by the router, and the login token is not invalid and is in the valid period. The right setting parameter is correct, which means that the right setting parameter is a parameter in a preset setting parameter library.
In the solution provided in this embodiment, the permission setting parameter may be sent to the router when the client device logs in the router, so as to open a remote function of the router, thereby establishing a remote control connection with the router, ensuring that the client device controls the router remotely, facilitating the client device to control the router, downloading and installing an installation program of a plug-in, and improving a success rate of plug-in installation.
On the basis of the method, the method also comprises the following steps:
s505, the client device receives a response to the fourth request from the router.
S506, the client device determines whether the router opens the remote function according to the response.
If the login token is correct and the permission setting parameter is correct in the fourth request, the router may return a response including updated HyperText Markup Language (HTML) content to the client device to indicate that the remote function of the router is turned on.
