The insertion tongues 2-4 provided on the screw support part 2 are first inserted into the housing of the electronic device 4 and abut against the housing.
Then, the operator manually rotates the screw 1 forward, and the rotational movement of the screw 1 drives the screw supporting member 2 to move downward, thereby driving the electronic device 4 to move downward. The rotational movement of the screw 1 simultaneously brings the panel holding member 3 upwards, so that the tips of the two holding sides 3-2 of the panel holding member 3 abut against the panel 5 and push the panel 5 towards the electronic device 4 until the panel 5 is securely mounted to the electronic device 4 and the sealing means 6 provided therebetween is compressed.
When the panel needs to be disassembled, an operator manually rotates the screw 1 reversely, and the rotating motion of the screw 1 drives the screw supporting part 2 to move upwards so as to drive the electronic equipment 4 to move upwards. The rotational movement of the screw 1 simultaneously brings the panel holding member 3 downward, thereby separating the panel 5 from the electronic device 4.
According to the above aspects of the present disclosure, the structure of the present mounting assembly eliminates rotational friction between the screw 1 and the panel 5. When the panel fastener is fastened, the panel holding member 3 holds the panel 5, and the screw 1 does not contact the panel 5. A large frictional force exists between the panel holding member 3 and the panel 5, and the electronic component 4 can be stably assembled in the panel 5.
The operator does not need to hold the panel holding member 3 when fixing the screw 1. The screw support member 2 can be operated with one hand only after being inserted into the electronic device 4.
The structure of the present mounting assembly is self-locking when the rotating screw 1 loosens the panel holding member 3. The panel holding member 3 is now moved downwards and the screw support member 2 is moved upwards, which block each other, ensuring that the screw 1 does not disengage from the panel holding member 3 and the screw support member 2.
