Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like or similar reference numerals refer to the same or similar elements or elements having the same or similar function throughout. The embodiments described below with reference to the accompanying drawings are illustrative only for the purpose of explaining the present invention, and are not to be construed as limiting the present invention.
An electronic device 100 according to an embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to fig. 1-3.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3, an electronic device 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: main part, telescopic component and fall sensor.
The retractable assembly can be retracted into the main body and can extend out of the main body from the inside of the main body. The inside of main part has the installation cavity that is suitable for holding telescopic component, is formed with the open mouth that communicates this installation cavity and external environment on the lateral wall of main part, and telescopic component can contract in the inside of main part and stretch out to the main part outside through the removal. Optionally, a part of the retractable assembly may extend out of the main body, or the entire retractable assembly may extend out of the main body.
The gravity center of the electronic device 100 is located in the area where the retractable assembly is located, the density of the retractable assembly is higher than that of the main body, and the gravity center of the electronic device 100 can be located in the area where the retractable assembly is located through reasonable structural arrangement. For example, the center of gravity of the electronic device 100 may be located inside the retractable assembly, and the center of gravity of the electronic device 100 may also be located on the surface of the retractable assembly. It should be noted that, when the retractable assembly is retracted into the main body and the retractable assembly is extended out of the main body, the center of gravity of the electronic device 100 is located in the region where the retractable assembly is located.
The fall sensor is used to detect the fall signal, and the fall sensor may be an acceleration sensor, for example the fall sensor may be a gyroscope. In response to the drop signal, the retractable assembly may extend out of the main body to protect the main body. Therefore, when the drop sensor detects that the electronic device 100 is in a dropped state (see fig. 3), in response to the drop signal, the retractable assembly can extend out of the main body, and since the center of gravity of the electronic device 100 is located in the area where the retractable assembly is located, in the process of dropping the electronic device 100, due to the influence of the position of the center of gravity of the electronic device 100, the electronic device 100 can adjust itself so that the retractable assembly of the electronic device 100 contacts the surface of the object such as the ground 200 before the main body contacts the surface of the object such as the ground 200, thereby reducing the probability that the main body directly collides with the surface of the object such as the ground 200, and playing a role in protecting the main body.
In a normal state (refer to fig. 2), the retractable assembly is retracted inside the main body.
It should be noted that, after the retractable assembly extends out of the main body, the retractable assembly can be controlled to move and retract inside the main body by a shortcut key or the like (for example, pressing a power key or a volume key).
The electronic device 100 of the present application may be, for example, any of various types of computer system devices that are mobile or portable and that perform wireless communications (two modalities are shown in fig. 1-3 by way of example only). Specifically, the electronic device 100 may be a mobile phone or smart phone (e.g., an iPhone (TM) based, Android (TM) based phone), a Portable gaming device (e.g., a Nintendo DS (TM), a PlayStation Portable (TM), a gameboyAdvance (TM), an iPhone (TM)), a laptop, a PDA, a Portable Internet device, a music player and data storage device, other handheld devices and headsets such as watches, in-ear headphones, pendant, headphones, etc., and the electronic device 100 may also be other wearable devices (e.g., a Head Mounted Device (HMD) such as electronic glasses, electronic clothing, electronic bracelets, electronic necklaces, electronic tattoos, electronic device 100, or smart watches).
For example, in some embodiments of the present invention, referring to fig. 1-3, the body comprises: mainboard, control assembly, display screen subassembly and casing subassembly. The display screen assembly is connected with the shell assembly, and the installation cavity is defined between the display screen assembly and the shell assembly. Wherein, the display screen subassembly can include that the display screen covers the apron 3 of establishing in the display screen outside with the display screen, and the casing subassembly includes casing 1 and center, and the center links to each other with casing 1. The middle frame may include a main body portion having a flat plate shape and a frame portion 2 having a ring shape, the frame portion 2 being disposed around an outer peripheral edge of the main body portion, and when the middle frame is coupled to the case 1, the main body portion of the middle frame is located inside the case 1 and the frame portion 2 of the middle frame is disposed around the outer peripheral edge of the case 1.
Alternatively, the housing 1 may be a glass piece. Therefore, the shell 1 has a transparent effect, and meanwhile, the shell 1 can have the effects of color, texture and the like through a process, so that the appearance of the whole machine is more gorgeous.
The mainboard is established at the installation intracavity, and the drop sensor is established on the mainboard, and the display screen subassembly is connected with the mainboard electricity, and the display screen of display screen subassembly is connected with the mainboard electricity, and the apron 3 of display screen subassembly links to each other with the center. The side wall of the housing assembly is formed with the open hole for communicating the mounting cavity with the external environment, for example, the frame portion 2 of the housing assembly is formed with the open hole.
The control assembly is used for controlling the movement of the telescopic assembly and is electrically connected with the main board. Alternatively, the control assembly may include a controller and a driving mechanism, the controller being electrically connected to the main board and controlling the start and stop of the driving mechanism.
Therefore, when the electronic device 100 is detected to be in a falling state by the falling sensor (refer to fig. 3), the control component controls and drives the retractable component to move and extend out of the main body through the open opening, the retractable component contacts the surface of an object such as the ground 200 before the main body contacts the surface of the object such as the ground 200, the probability that the display screen component and the shell component directly collide with the surface of the object such as the ground 200 is reduced, the protection effect on the display screen component and the shell component of the electronic device 100 is achieved, and the screen breaking risk is reduced. In addition, when the housing 1 is a glass member, the risk of breakage of the housing 1 can be reduced.
According to the electronic device 100 of the embodiment of the invention, through the arranged retractable assembly and the drop sensor for detecting the drop signal, when the electronic device 100 is detected to be in the drop state, the retractable assembly can extend out of the main body to protect the main body, so that the probability that the main body directly collides with the surface of an object such as the ground 200 is reduced, and the main body of the electronic device 100 is protected.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, referring to fig. 1, a telescoping assembly comprises: a protective element 4 and a functional module 6. The protective member 4 is retractable inside the main body and is extendable from the inside of the main body to the outside of the main body, and in response to the drop signal, the protective member 4 is extendable from the outside of the main body to protect the main body, and the function module 6 is provided on the protective member 4 and is electrically connected to the main board of the electronic apparatus 100. Through integrating functional module 6 on protector 4, can avoid protector 4 to occupy more extra space for the complete machine can improve the space utilization of complete machine when having the protect function that falls, and help realizing electronic equipment's full face screen.
The functional module 6 may implement one or more functions of the electronic device 100. Alternatively, the functional module 6 may include at least one of a camera, an earpiece, a proximity light sensor, and an ambient light sensor.
Alternatively, the functional module 6 can be embedded in the protective element 4. Thereby, the occupation space of the functional module 6 and the protective element 4 can be reduced, while the protective element 4 can also function to protect the functional module 6.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 1 and 3, the protector 4 may have a flat plate shape. Therefore, when the electronic device 100 is dropped, the probability that the protector 4 is in direct contact with the surface of an object such as the floor 200 can be increased, and the probability that the main body (e.g., the housing assembly and the display screen assembly) collides with the floor 200 directly can be reduced.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 1 and 3, the protector 4 may be movable in the length direction of the body (refer to the e1 direction in fig. 1), and the width of the protector 4 may be slightly smaller than the width of the body. Thereby, the probability of direct contact between the protector 4 and the ground 200 can be further increased, and the probability of direct collision between the main body (e.g., the housing assembly and the display screen assembly) and the surface of the object such as the ground 200 can be further reduced. Here, the width of the protector 4 refers to a dimension of the protector 4 in the width direction of the body (refer to the e2 direction in fig. 1).
Optionally, the electronic device 100 may include: a buffer spring provided in the body (for example, the buffer spring may be provided in the above-described installation cavity), one end of the buffer spring being connected to the protection member 4 and the other end being connected to the body (for example, a housing assembly of the body). Therefore, the buffer spring can absorb a part of impact energy when the electronic device 100 falls, has a good buffer effect, and weakens the impact force on the main body.
According to some alternative embodiments of the invention, the protection 4 comprises: counterweight and buffer. The weight portion may be a metal member, for example, the weight portion may be made of a material with a relatively high density, such as iron or lead, so that the center of gravity of the electronic device 100 may be located in the region of the retractable assembly. The buffer part is coated on the outer surface of the counterweight part and is a rubber part or a plastic part. Therefore, the buffer part is coated on the outer surface of the counterweight part, so that hard contact between the telescopic component and the surface of an object such as the ground 200 can be avoided, a better buffer effect is achieved, impact force on the main body is weakened, and impact force on the functional module 6 can be weakened.
According to some embodiments of the invention, the above-mentioned functional module 6 comprises at least one of a camera, an earpiece, a proximity light sensor and an ambient light sensor. For example, the above-mentioned functional module 6 may include only one of a camera, an earpiece, a proximity light sensor, and an ambient light sensor; the functional module 6 may also include at least two of a camera, an earpiece, a proximity light sensor, and an ambient light sensor. Thereby, it is advantageous to realize a full screen of the electronic apparatus 100.
Alternatively, when the functional module 6 includes a camera, the main body may include a display screen component, and when the electronic device 100 starts a shooting program, the retractable component moves out of the main body and the camera is exposed to the external environment. Therefore, when shooting is needed, the shooting program is started, the camera automatically extends out of the main body, the shooting function is achieved, and the full-screen shooting is facilitated. When the shooting program is not started and the electronic device 100 is not in a falling state, the retractable assembly is retracted into the main body; after the shooting program is finished, the telescopic component can be controlled to move and contract in the main body.
Optionally, when the functional module 6 comprises an earpiece, when the retractable assembly is retracted inside the main body, a passage suitable for sound transmission is provided between the retractable assembly and the main body, and the passage is communicated with the external environment. Thus, when using the electronic device 100, sound can be transmitted to the external environment through the above-mentioned channel, so that the user can hear it.
Optionally, when the functional module 6 includes a proximity light sensor for sensing a human body, the display screen assembly includes a display screen and a cover plate 3 covering the outside of the display screen, and when the retractable assembly is retracted into the main body, a through hole suitable for light to pass through is formed at a position of the cover plate 3 corresponding to the proximity light sensor. Thus, when the electronic apparatus 100 is used, light emitted from the light emitting part of the proximity sensor may pass through the through hole, and the light may return to the light receiving part of the proximity sensor when encountering an obstacle such as a human face, to detect whether the display screen is close to the face of a person. Optionally, the proximity light sensor is an infrared sensor. It should be noted that the through holes may be disposed near the edge of the cover plate 3, which is beneficial to increase the effective display area of the display screen.
Alternatively, when the functional module 6 includes an ambient light sensor for detecting the intensity of the external ambient light, the main body includes a display screen assembly, the ambient light sensor is disposed on the side wall of the protection member 4 facing the external environment (for example, the ambient sensor is disposed on the side wall of the protection member 4 facing the open mouth), and the brightness of the display screen of the display assembly of the electronic device 100 is adjusted in real time according to the detection signal of the ambient light sensor. Therefore, light of the external environment can enter the ambient light sensor through the open opening, so that the intensity of the light of the external environment can be conveniently detected, and the full-face screen is favorably realized.
