The invention discloses a gun cable connector for an air cooler, a connecting assembly and a connecting method, wherein the gun cable connector for the air cooler comprises a connector body; the connector body sequentially comprises an extending part, a contact part and a tail part from front to back; the middle part of the contact part is provided with a cone with gradually reduced outer diameter; the axial center of the connector body is provided with a protective gas channel penetrating through the front end face and the rear end face of the connector body. The middle part of the contact part of the cable connector is provided with the cone, under the condition of locking the hoop, the cable connector and the copper conductor are in a conical surface locking state, the locking effect is enhanced under the action of external force torsion, the phenomenon that the cable is loosened is further prevented, the complex and changeable cable torsion and pulling under different working conditions can be dealt with, and the connection of the cable and the connector is ensured to be safe and reliable within the rated service life.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of gun cable connection for air coolers, in particular to a gun cable connector for air coolers, a connecting assembly and a connecting method.
Background
The welding gun for the air-cooled machine is welding equipment for cooling by utilizing the expansion heat absorption of shielding gas, and is widely used in the welding field due to the simple structure and the light volume. The main component for connecting the air-cooled welding gun and the welding machine is an air-cooled cable, the hollow position of the cable is a protective gas channel, a layer of copper conductor is coated on the protective gas channel, and welding current is conducted to the gun neck through the copper conductor. The cable and the welding gun are connected through a cable joint. Because the cable is constantly twisted and pulled along with the change of welding posture in the welding process, the connection between the cable joint and the cable is loosened to a certain extent after the existing cable joint is twisted and pulled for a certain period, and the loosening can influence the stability of welding current, so that the service life of a welding gun is reduced, and the welding requirement of a user cannot be met.

The invention aims at solving the problem that the existing welding gun cable joint for the air cooler is easy to loosen, and provides the welding gun cable joint for the air cooler, a connecting assembly and a connecting method, which can cope with complex and changeable cable torsion and pulling under different working conditions and ensure that the connection between a cable and the joint is safe and reliable within the rated service life.

The outer diameter of the boss gradually increases from front to back.
The front end of the contact part comprises an outer convex arc section connected with the cone and a first inner concave arc section connected between the outer convex arc section and the extending part.
The tail end of the contact part is a second concave arc section connected between the cone and the tail part.
The cone angle of the cone is 2-8 degrees.
A gun-welding cable connecting assembly for an air cooler comprises a cable joint and a hoop; the structure of the cable joint is consistent with that of the welding gun cable joint for the air cooler; one end of the ferrule clamps the copper conductor exposed out of the connecting end of the welding gun cable of the air cooler on the cone of the contact part of the cable joint, and the other end of the ferrule clamps the welding gun cable of the air cooler on the extending part of the cable joint.
The ferrule preferably employs a copper ferrule.
The method for connecting the welding gun cable of the air cooler and the welding gun comprises the following steps of:
Step S1, fixing the tail part of a cable connector on a welding gun;
S2, sleeving the ferrule on a welding gun cable of an air cooler;
step S3, inserting the extending part of the cable joint into the connecting end of the welding gun cable of the air cooler until the copper conductor exposed out of the connecting end of the welding gun cable of the air cooler completely wraps the contact part of the cable joint;
step S4, pushing the ferrule back to clamp the copper conductor onto the taper of the contact portion of the cable connector.

(3) The outer diameter of the boss is gradually increased from the front end to the rear end, so that the extending part is convenient to be inserted into the cable, the effect of a barb is achieved, the cable connector is prevented from falling off, and the stability of connection is further enhanced.
(4) The front end of the contact part of the invention comprises the outer convex arc section connected with the cone and the first inner concave arc section connected between the outer convex arc section and the extending part, the first inner concave arc section can play a role in transition guiding, the outer convex arc section can increase the contact area with the copper conductor, the conductivity is improved, and meanwhile, the copper conductor is prevented from being scratched during connection.

The cable joint comprises a joint body 1. The connector body 1 comprises an extending part 1-1, a contact part 1-2 and a tail part 1-3 from front to back. The middle part of the contact part 1-2 is arranged as a cone 1-2-1 with a gradually decreasing outer diameter. The axial center of the joint body 1 is provided with a protective gas channel 1-4 penetrating through the front end face and the rear end face of the joint body 1.
The front end of the extending part 1-1 of the joint body 1 is provided with a boss 1-1-1. The boss can block the cable, further prevents that the joint from becoming flexible and droing. The outer diameter of the boss 1-1-1 is gradually increased from front to back, so that the extending part is convenient to be inserted into the cable, the barb function is achieved, the cable joint is prevented from falling off, and the stability of connection is further enhanced.
The front end of the contact part 1-2 comprises an outer convex arc section 1-2-2 connected with the cone 1-2-1, and a first inner concave arc section 1-2-3 connected between the outer convex arc section 1-2-2 and the extending part 1-1. The tail end of the contact part 1-2 is a second concave arc section 1-2-4 connected between the cone 1-2-1 and the tail part 1-3. The first concave circular arc section can play a role in transition guiding, the convex circular arc section can increase the contact area with the copper conductor, the conductivity is improved, and meanwhile the copper conductor is prevented from being scratched during connection.
In order to improve the locking effect, the cone angle of the cone 1-2-1 is set to be 2 degrees to 8 degrees.
The ferrule 2 is preferably a copper ferrule. One end of the ferrule 2 clamps the copper conductor 3-1 exposed from the connecting end of the gun cable 3 for the air cooler to the taper 1-2-1 of the contact portion 1-2 of the cable joint, and the other end of the ferrule 2 clamps the gun cable 3 for the air cooler to the projecting portion 1-1 of the cable joint.
