The invention provides a cable reel for winding cables, wherein each cable comprises a cable wire and connectors arranged at two ends of the cable wire, and the cable reel comprises: a hub assembly; the winding part is arranged on the hub assembly so that the cable is wound on the winding part; a joint part arranged on the hub assembly for mounting a joint of a cable; when the cable is wound, the joint at one end of the cable is arranged on the joint part, the cable is wound around the winding part, and the joint at the other end of the cable is arranged on the joint part after the cable is wound. The cable reel solves the problem that cables of the cable reel in the prior art are inconvenient to wind and preset butt joints.

Background
Before the cable leaves factory, the cable needs to be wound on a cable reel so as to be convenient for transporting and laying the cable. The existing cable is wound on a cable reel after the preset butt joints are installed at two ends of the existing cable, and the diameter of the cable joint is larger than that of a cable body, and the cable joint has a certain length (the whole size of the existing butt joint is about 1 m) and cannot be bent, so that the existing cable reel is very inconvenient when the cable of the preset butt joint is wound.
