本申请实施例提供一种对象检测装置、对象检测方法和电子设备，用于从视频图像帧中检测出对象物体，该对象检测装置包括：提取单元，其基于视频图像帧的运动信息，从所述视频图像帧中提取出感兴趣区域；检测单元，其根据所述提取单元所提取出的感兴趣区域，在所述视频图像帧中进行对象检测。根据本申请，提高对象检测的准确度和速度。
