Abstract

Technical Field

Background
The pole is connected directly at one end to the busbar and at the other end to an external conductor (in this case also called a terminal) or to a pole of an adjacent cell in the battery. In battery production, a post is a common electrical conductor.
In the field of lead-acid batteries, how to prevent acid liquor from overflowing from the bottom of a cover and flowing to an electrode joint is a technical problem, and the current polar column is difficult to completely seal and impermeable.

When the invention is used, the bottom of the pole body is inserted into concentrated sulfuric acid solution, the upper part of the pole body is provided with a battery cover, the top of the pole body extends out of a hole of the battery cover, the top of the pole body is connected with an electrode joint, the upper part of the electrode joint is screwed and fixed through a nut, a rubber sealing plug is sleeved on the shape of a round table at the upper part of the pole body, the shape of the sealing plug is matched with the round table, the lower part of the sealing plug is inserted into the chassis, a gap is arranged between a circular retaining wall of the chassis and the battery cover, and a circle of outwards protruding parts are arranged at the periphery of the sealing plug and are just inserted into the gap to form a mechanical sealing structure.

According to the invention, after the top of the round table-shaped pole body is tightly attached to the rubber sealing ring in the matched shape, the sealing surface is inclined, so that acid liquid below can be effectively prevented from exuding upwards from the sealing gap.
According to the invention, the shape of the chassis forms a mechanical labyrinth sealing structure, so that the rubber sealing ring is plugged into the chassis, the outer ring of the sealing ring is sealed with the annular retaining wall of the chassis, and the inner ring of the sealing ring is sealed with the pole column body, so that a sealing structure with very good sealing performance is formed.

Referring to fig. 2 and 3, the top of the pole body 1 is horizontal, and a circular channel 5 extending towards the inside of the pole body 1 is formed in the center of the top, and the circular channel 5 extends to the height of the chassis 3. The copper core is inserted into the circular channel 5, the top of the copper core extends out of the circular channel 5, an electrode joint is connected with the external thread of the copper core, a nut is arranged above the electrode joint, the nut is connected with the copper core in a threaded manner, and the nut compresses the electrode joint. The structure forms the connection of the electrodes, and the connection is firm.
The upper part 4 of the pole body is in a truncated cone shape, the diameter of the pole body gradually increases from the top of the pole body 1 towards the chassis 3, and reaches the maximum diameter at the upper position of the annular retaining wall 31 of the chassis 3, and the maximum diameter is in a cylindrical shape downwards. After the top of the round table-shaped pole body 1 is tightly attached to the rubber sealing ring in the matched shape, the sealing surface is inclined, so that acid liquor below can be effectively prevented from seeping upwards from the sealing gap.
