As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the electronic device 200 includes a chassis (not shown), a motherboard 80, a connector 50, and a connector fixing apparatus 100.
The enclosure includes an enclosure side panel 60. The main board 80 is provided with a plurality of functional slots 810. The plug 50 is inserted into the functional slot 810 and held and fixed by the plug fixing device 100. In one embodiment, the connector 50 may be a graphics card, and correspondingly, the functional slot 810 may be a PCI slot into which the functional pins of the graphics card are inserted.
For convenience of describing the technical solution of the present disclosure, a side of the connector 50 inserted into the motherboard 80 is defined as "down", and a side of the connector 50 away from the motherboard 80 is defined as "up". It should be noted that "upper" and "lower" in the following description are merely for convenience of describing the technical solutions of the present invention, and are not intended to limit the specific orientation.
The connector fixing device 100 is provided at an upper portion of the connector 50. In this way, after the lower portion of the connector 50 is inserted into the functional slot 810, the connector fixing device 100 is used for supporting and fixing the upper portion of the connector 50, so that the connector 50 is stably connected to the motherboard 80.
The connector fixing device 100 may include a cover plate 10 and a support 20. One end of the card pressing cover plate 10 is rotatably connected with the case side plate 60, the card pressing bracket 20 is located at the lower part of the card pressing cover plate 10, and the card pressing bracket 20 is rotatably connected with one end of the card pressing cover plate 10 close to the case side plate 60.
When the free end of the card pressing cover plate 10 rotates towards the plug connector 50, the card pressing cover plate 10 pushes the card pressing support 20 to rotate, and the card pressing support 20 moves towards the plug connector 50 when rotating. When the cover plate 10 abuts against the upper portion of the connector 50, the pressing bracket 20 abuts against the end of the connector 50. For example, when the plug connector 50 is the aforementioned graphics card, the end of the graphics card is connected to the chassis side plate 60 through an I/O bracket 70, and when the card pressing cover plate 10 abuts against the upper portion of the plug connector 50, the card pressing bracket 20 abuts against the upper portion of the I/O bracket 70, thereby assisting in fixing the corresponding ends of the I/O bracket 70 and the graphics card.
In one embodiment, the cover plate 10 includes a top cover 110 and a resilient gasket 120. The elastic pad 120 is fixed to a side of the upper cover 110 close to the plug 50. When the cover plate 20 abuts against and fixes the upper portion of the connector 50, the elastic pad 120 is clamped between the upper cover 110 and the connector 50 to play a role in buffering.
The upper cover 110 includes a cover main body 1101 and a first hook 1104 provided at one end of the cover main body 1101. Correspondingly, the connector fixing device 100 may further include a locking member (not shown) disposed on the case side plate 60, and the upper cover 110 is rotatably connected to the locking member through the first locking hook 1104. The connection between the first hooking portion 1104 and the clamping member may be a detachable connection.
The upper cover 110 may further include two sidewalls 1102, and the two sidewalls 1102 are respectively vertically connected to two sides of the cover plate main body 1101. Each sidewall 1102 is provided with a first screw hole 1103.
And second screw holes 2101 corresponding to the first screw holes 1103 are formed in two sides of the card pressing bracket 20. The card pressing bracket 20 is rotatably connected with one end of the card pressing cover plate 10 through a first screw 30, the first screw hole 1103 and the second screw hole 2101.
In a preferred embodiment, the card pressing bracket 20 may include a connecting plate 210, a pressing plate 220 and two side plates 230. The pressing plate 220 is vertically connected to the connecting plate 210. And the two side plates 230 are vertically connected to two sides of the connecting plate 210 and the pressing plate 220. The second screw holes 2301 are formed in the side plate 230. The pressing plate 220 may have a plurality of elastic pressing pieces 2201 distributed thereon.
In another preferred embodiment, the connector fixing device 100 may further include a return spring 40. The return spring 40 is connected between the card pressing bracket 20 and the card pressing cover plate 10. When the card pressing cover plate 10 pushes the card pressing bracket 20 to rotate and pushes the card pressing bracket 20 to move towards the plug connector 50, the return spring 40 generates elastic deformation. When the cover plate 10 is released, the card holder 20 is opened, and the card holder 20 is rotated away from the upper portion of the connector 50 by the restoring force of the return spring 40.
The return spring 40 may be a hook spring. The cover plate 10 is provided with a first connecting portion (not shown) for fixing one end of the hook spring, and the connecting plate 210 is provided with a second connecting portion 2102 for fixing the other end of the hook spring.
In another preferred embodiment, a third screw hole 2301 is formed on the connection plate 210. When the first hook portion 1104 and the connection between the clamping members can be detachably connected, the card pressing bracket 20 can be detached separately, and a third screw hole 2101 can be arranged on the connecting plate 210, and the card pressing bracket 20 can be used separately by matching with a second fixing screw 30 for fixedly mounting the expansion card.
In the above-mentioned connector fixing device 100, the free end of the cover plate 10 is pressed to the connector 50 side, when rotating, the cover plate 10 is pressed to push the clamp support 20 to rotate and push the clamp support 20 to the connector 50 moves, so as to avoid interfering with the connector 50.
