Description

Cell switching method, terminal equipment and original base station
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a cell switching method, a terminal device, and an original base station.
Background
MulteFire is a new LTE (Long Term Evolution) based wireless access technology that can operate independently in unlicensed bands without the help of licensed band carriers. The MulteFire extends LTE to an unlicensed frequency band, and a Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) mechanism similar to a WiFi (Wireless-Fidelity) carrier sensing technology is introduced into a physical layer, so as to implement fair contention for an unlicensed frequency band channel with unlicensed frequency band devices and avoid mutual interference between the unlicensed frequency band devices. When the base station or the terminal equipment monitors that the unlicensed frequency band channel is occupied, namely LBT fails, the signal is stopped being sent, and when the unlicensed frequency band channel is monitored to be idle, namely LBT succeeds, the signal is sent.
When the measurement result of the terminal located in the Multefire cell meets the handover condition, if the channel is monitored to be occupied according to the LBT mechanism, the measurement report cannot be sent, and similarly, after the Multefire cell receives the measurement report of the terminal, if the channel is monitored to be occupied according to the LBT mechanism, the handover command cannot be sent, which results in too large handover delay.
Therefore, the Multefire system supports an automatic handover scheme, that is, when detecting that the channel qualities of the current access cell and the adjacent cell meet the handover condition, the terminal does not need to wait for receiving the handover command of the current access cell to automatically initiate random access to the target cell to access the target cell, that is, when detecting that the channel qualities of the current access cell and the adjacent cell meet the handover condition, the terminal does not need to send a measurement report to the current cell and wait for the handover command of the current cell to reduce the handover delay.
According to the existing automatic handover scheme, in the automatic handover preparation, RRC (Radio Resource Control) configuration of a candidate cell to a UE (User Equipment) is sent from an automatic handover candidate base station to a base station through an automatic handover preparation response. And the base station sends the automatic switching configuration of the candidate cell to the UE. In the conventional handover, only one target cell is provided, and the UE starts handover when receiving a target cell configuration (i.e., handover command), that is, starts to apply the RRC configuration of the target cell, so that the RRC configuration of the UE in the target cell does not fail when the UE accesses the target cell before the handover timer expires. However, in the automatic handover, the UE is not certain whether and when to start handover after receiving the automatic handover configuration, and when the UE selects the target cell for automatic handover to access, the RRC configuration of the UE in the target cell may have failed, thereby causing a failure in automatic handover.
In the prior art, an effective solution is not proposed at present for the problem that it is difficult for a terminal device to predict the RRC configuration state of a target cell in an automatic handover process.

The embodiment of the invention provides a cell switching method, which is applied to terminal equipment. The embodiment of the invention monitors the state of the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment through the automatic switching configuration timer, so that the terminal device can grasp the state of the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device in real time in the automatic switching process, so that it can be determined whether to apply the radio resource control configuration of the pair of terminal devices to access the candidate cell according to the state of the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device, for example, the radio resource control configuration of the pair of terminal devices may be applied to access the candidate cell when the candidate cell is valid for the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device, the candidate cell may be accessed without applying the radio resource control configuration of the pair of terminal devices when the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the candidate cell fails, the probability of switching failure caused by the failure of the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment is reduced.

It should be noted that the specific type of the device terminal 11 is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention. The terminal device 11 may establish communication with the original base station 12, the original base station 12 may establish communication with the candidate base station 13, a network in the drawing may indicate that the terminal device 11 establishes communication with the original base station 12 wirelessly, the original base station 12 establishes communication with the candidate base station 13 wirelessly, the original base station 12 and the candidate base station 13 may be evolved Node bs (abbreviated eNB) or other base stations, and it should be noted that specific types of the original base station 12 and the candidate base station 13 are not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart of a cell handover method according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the method includes the following steps:
step 201, a terminal device receives automatic switching configuration information and automatic switching configuration timer information sent by an original base station, wherein the automatic switching configuration information includes radio resource control configuration of a candidate cell to the terminal device.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the automatic handover configuration information includes radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device, where the candidate cell may be one candidate cell or at least two candidate cells. The radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device may include 3 types: only configuring cell information for the terminal equipment; only configuring cell information and common RRC (Radio Resource Control) configuration for the terminal device; and configuring cell information, public RRC configuration and special RRC configuration for the terminal equipment.
The cell information may include physical cell identifiers and carrier frequency information of candidate cells, so that the terminal device accelerates the cell search speed; the common RRC configuration may include a system broadcast Block (SIB) of the candidate cell, so that the terminal device obtains system information of the candidate cell, and reduces service interruption time for the terminal device to switch to the candidate cell; the dedicated RRC configuration includes security parameter configuration, C-RNTI (Cell Radio Network Temporary Identifier) configuration, dedicated RACH (Random Access Channel) resource configuration, and the like of the terminal device in the candidate Cell, so that the terminal device can obtain the dedicated resource configuration in the candidate Cell, and the switching speed of the terminal device to the candidate Cell is increased.
In addition, for the former two RRC configuration types (that is, only configuring cell information for the terminal device and common RRC configuration), the terminal device does not occupy radio resources in the candidate cell, the terminal device only obtains cell information or system broadcast information of the candidate cell, and the terminal device can only access the candidate cell by using an automatic handover request process (similar to an RRC connection reestablishment process); for the third RRC configuration type (i.e. configuring cell information, common RRC configuration, and dedicated RRC configuration for the terminal device), the terminal device occupies radio resources in the candidate cell, and the terminal device can access the candidate cell by sending an automatic handover complete message (similar to the RRC reconfiguration complete signaling) to complete the automatic handover.
Specifically, in the automatic handover preparation process, the original base station may request one or at least two candidate cells of one or at least two candidate base stations to perform RRC configuration on the terminal device by sending an automatic handover preparation request to the candidate base station, and the RRC configuration of the candidate cell on the terminal device is sent to the original base station by the candidate base station through an automatic handover preparation response.
The automatic handover configuration timer information may be configured by the original base station, or may be configured by the candidate base station, and may be sent to the original base station through an automatic handover preparation response message. Optionally, the information of the automatic handover configuration timer may include a duration of the automatic handover configuration timer, and may also include an absolute Time when the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device fails (that is, a Time when the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device fails), where the absolute Time may be Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), for example, the Time when the information of the automatic handover configuration timer includes that the Time when the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell a to the terminal device fails is UTC Time 2017, 7, 3, 08, 30 minutes and 30 seconds; or, the absolute time is a System Frame Number (SFN) of the wireless communication System, for example, the time when the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell a to the terminal device fails is a time when the SFN is 1023, so that the terminal device may configure the automatic handover configuration timer according to the automatic handover configuration timer information.
Step 202, the terminal device starts an automatic switching configuration timer.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the terminal device may start the automatic switching configuration timer when receiving the automatic switching configuration information sent by the base station, or may start the automatic switching configuration timer when starting automatic switching (i.e., when the automatic switching timer times out). Specifically, the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer may be determined according to the information of the automatic handover configuration timer, for example, if the information of the automatic handover configuration timer includes the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer, the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer may be directly used to control the automatic handover configuration timer, and if the information of the automatic handover configuration timer includes a time at which the RRC configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device fails, a time difference between the time at which the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device fails and a start time of the automatic handover configuration timer may be used as the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer.
In practical applications, since the candidate base station cannot determine when the terminal device receives the automatic handover configuration timer information and when to start the automatic handover configuration timer, it is more accurate to set the automatic handover configuration timer information as the time when the RRC configuration of the terminal device by the candidate cell fails. For example, the automatic handover configuration timer information may be set as the SFN in which the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device fails.
It should be noted that, if there are at least two candidate cells, an automatic handover configuration timer may be configured for each candidate cell to monitor the state of radio resource control configuration of each candidate cell to the terminal device, or a common automatic handover configuration timer may be configured for all candidate cells to monitor the state of radio resource control configuration of all candidate cells to the terminal device through the common automatic handover configuration timer.
Step 203, if the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, the terminal device determines that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid.
In the embodiment of the present invention, if the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, the terminal device determines that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid, and if the automatic handover configuration timer is not overtime, the terminal device may determine that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is not invalid. Optionally, the terminal device may represent different states of the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device through different identifiers, so that the terminal device may learn the states of the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device by detecting the corresponding identifiers.
In the embodiment of the invention, terminal equipment receives automatic switching configuration information and automatic switching configuration timer information sent by an original base station, wherein the automatic switching configuration information comprises the radio resource control configuration of a candidate cell to the terminal equipment; the terminal equipment starts an automatic switching configuration timer; and if the automatic switching configuration timer is overtime, the terminal equipment determines that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment is invalid. The embodiment of the invention monitors the state of the wireless resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment through the automatic switching configuration timer, so that the terminal equipment can master the state of the wireless resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment in real time in the automatic switching process.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart of a cell handover method according to another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 3, including the following steps:
step 301, a terminal device receives automatic switching configuration information and automatic switching configuration timer information sent by an original base station, where the automatic switching configuration information includes radio resource control configuration of a candidate cell to the terminal device.
In this embodiment of the present invention, if the candidate cells include at least two candidate cells, a common automatic handover configuration timer information may be set for all candidate cells in the at least two candidate cells, or an automatic handover configuration timer information may be set for each cell in the at least two candidate cells.
Optionally, the automatic handover configuration timer information includes automatic handover configuration timer information of each of the candidate cells, or the automatic handover configuration timer information includes automatic handover configuration timer information for all of the candidate cells.
In the embodiments of the present invention, automatic handover configuration timer information may be configured for each candidate cell, for example, if the candidate cell includes at least two candidate cells, automatic handover configuration timer information may be configured for each candidate cell of the at least two candidate cells, that is, the automatic handover configuration timer information includes the automatic handover configuration timer information of each candidate cell of the at least two candidate cells.
In the embodiment of the invention, the automatic switching configuration timer information is configured for each candidate cell, so that the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer corresponding to each candidate cell can be determined through the automatic switching configuration timer information of each candidate cell, and the RRC configuration state of each candidate cell to the terminal equipment can be monitored more accurately.
For example, if the candidate cell includes at least two candidate cells, a common automatic handover configuration timer may be configured for all of the at least two candidate cells, that is, the automatic handover configuration timer information includes automatic handover configuration timer information for all of the at least two candidate cells. The embodiment of the invention configures the common automatic switching configuration timer information for all the candidate cells, thereby facilitating the control and the unified monitoring of the RRC configuration state of all the candidate cells to the terminal equipment by the terminal equipment.
Optionally, the automatic handover configuration timer information includes first automatic handover configuration timer information for a first cell and/or second automatic handover configuration timer information for a second cell, where the first cell is a candidate cell configured with a dedicated radio resource control configuration and a common radio resource control configuration for the terminal device, and the second cell is a candidate cell configured with no dedicated radio resource control configuration and a common radio resource control configuration for the terminal device.
The embodiment of the invention can configure the corresponding automatic switching configuration timer information for the candidate cell according to the type of the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment. For example, first automatic handover configuration timer information is configured for candidate cells in which a dedicated radio resource control configuration and a common radio resource control configuration are configured for the terminal device, and second automatic handover configuration timer information is configured for candidate cells in which a dedicated radio resource control configuration is not configured for the terminal device and a common radio resource control configuration is configured for the terminal device.
The embodiment of the invention can determine the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer corresponding to each type of candidate cell according to the automatic switching configuration timer information of each type of candidate cell so as to more accurately monitor the RRC configuration state of each type of candidate cell to the terminal equipment.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, first automatic handover configuration timer information and/or second automatic handover configuration timer information may be configured for each candidate cell according to a type of RRC configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device, or one common first automatic handover configuration timer information used for the first cell may be set for a plurality of candidate cells, and/or one common second automatic handover configuration timer information used for the second cell may be set for a plurality of candidate cells, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention.
Optionally, the automatic handover configuration timer information includes third automatic handover configuration timer information for dedicated radio resource control configuration and fourth automatic handover configuration timer information for common radio resource control configuration.
In the embodiment of the present invention, different automatic handover configuration timer information may also be set for different RRC configurations, for example, third automatic handover configuration timer information for dedicated radio resource control configuration and fourth automatic handover configuration timer information for common radio resource control configuration may be configured for the candidate cell, and corresponding automatic handover configuration timers may be controlled by the third automatic handover configuration timer information for dedicated radio resource control configuration and the fourth automatic handover configuration timer information for common radio resource control configuration, respectively, so as to implement monitoring of states of different types of radio resource control configurations of the candidate cell.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, third automatic handover configuration timer information for a dedicated radio resource control configuration and fourth automatic handover configuration timer information for a common radio resource control configuration may be set for a dedicated radio resource control configuration and a common radio resource control configuration of each candidate cell, or a common third automatic handover configuration timer information for a dedicated radio resource control configuration and a common third automatic handover configuration timer information for a common radio resource control configuration of a plurality of candidate cells may be set for a dedicated radio resource control configuration and a common radio resource control configuration of a plurality of candidate cells, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention.
The automatic handover configuration timer information may be configured by the original base station, or may be configured by the candidate base station, and may be sent to the original base station through an automatic handover preparation response message. Optionally, the information of the automatic handover configuration timer includes a duration of the automatic handover configuration timer, or a time when the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the candidate cell is invalid. And the moment when the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment fails is the absolute time when the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment fails.
Specifically, the duration of the automatic switchover configuration timer may be determined according to the information of the automatic switchover configuration timer, for example, if the information of the automatic switchover configuration timer includes the duration of the automatic switchover configuration timer, the duration of the automatic switchover configuration timer may be directly used as the duration of the automatic switchover configuration timer. Optionally, the terminal device may also correct the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer according to the initial sending time of the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer sent by the original base station, for example, a difference between the initial sending time of the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer minus the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer sent by the original base station and the starting time of the automatic switching configuration timer is used as the corrected time length of the automatic switching configuration timer, so as to control the automatic switching configuration timer.
Because the candidate base station hardly estimates the time when the terminal device receives the information of the automatic handover configuration timer, the candidate base station may set the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer as the duration of the candidate cell reserved RRC configuration, and then the original base station corrects the duration of the candidate cell reserved RRC configuration to the duration of the reserved RRC configuration used by the terminal device, and uses the duration as the corrected duration of the automatic handover configuration timer, for example, the original base station may subtract the duration of the candidate cell reserved RRC configuration by the X2 signaling delay of the automatic handover preparation response message sent from the candidate cell to the original base station, and uses the duration as the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer used by the terminal device.
Optionally, if the automatic handover configuration information is a time when the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the candidate cell fails, the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer is a time difference between the time when the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the candidate cell fails and a start time of the automatic handover configuration timer.
Optionally, if the information of the automatic switching configuration timer includes the duration of the automatic switching configuration timer, the information of the automatic switching configuration timer further includes the initial sending time of the original base station sending the information of the automatic switching configuration timer.
The original base station sends the automatic configuration timer information to the terminal equipment with a certain time delay, so that the original base station can send the initial sending time of the automatic configuration timer information to the terminal equipment together, and the terminal equipment corrects the time length of the automatic configuration timer according to the initial sending time of the automatic configuration timer information.
Optionally, before the terminal device starts the automatic switching configuration timer, the method further includes: and subtracting the difference value between the receiving time of the automatic switching configuration timer information received by the terminal equipment and the initial sending time of the automatic switching configuration timer information sent by the original base station from the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer to be used as the corrected time length of the automatic switching configuration timer.
Specifically, the terminal device may calculate a difference between a receiving time at which the automatic switching configuration timer information is received and an initial sending time at which the original base station sends the automatic switching configuration timer information, and subtract the difference from a duration of the automatic switching configuration timer to obtain a modified duration of the automatic switching configuration timer, so as to control the automatic switching configuration timer.
Step 302, the terminal device starts an automatic switching configuration timer.
This step is the same as step 202 described above and will not be described herein again.
Step 303, if the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, the terminal device determines that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid.
For the above step 302 and step 303, if the candidate cells include at least two candidate cells, an automatic handover configuration timer may be configured for each of the at least two candidate cells, and each candidate cell configuration automatic handover configuration timer is started, so as to monitor the state of the RRC configuration of the terminal device by each candidate cell through the automatic handover configuration timer corresponding to each candidate cell, so as to improve the accuracy of the state monitoring result of the RRC configuration of the terminal device by each candidate cell, thereby reducing the probability of handover failure caused by the failure of the RRC configuration of the terminal device by the candidate cell.
Optionally, if the automatic handover configuration timer information includes the automatic handover configuration timer information of each candidate cell in the candidate cells, the terminal device starts an automatic handover configuration timer, including: the terminal equipment starts an automatic switching configuration timer of each candidate cell in the candidate cells;
correspondingly, if the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, the determining, by the terminal device, that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid includes:
if the automatic handover configuration timer of the target candidate cell is overtime, the terminal device determines that the radio resource control configuration of the target candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid, wherein the target candidate cell is any candidate cell in the candidate cells.
Specifically, if the number of candidate cells is one, the target candidate cell is the candidate cell, and if the number of candidate cells is multiple, the target candidate cell may be any one of the multiple candidate cells.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the terminal device may start the automatic handover configuration timer of each candidate cell when receiving the automatic handover configuration information sent by the base station, or may start the automatic handover configuration timer of each candidate cell when starting automatic handover (that is, when the automatic handover timer times out), for example, if the candidate cells include at least two candidate cells, the automatic handover configuration timer of each candidate cell in the at least two candidate cells may be started respectively. Optionally, the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer of each candidate cell may be determined according to the information of the automatic handover configuration timer corresponding thereto, so that the accuracy of the state monitoring result of the RRC configuration of the terminal device for each candidate cell may be higher.
Specifically, if the automatic handover configuration timer of a candidate cell is overtime, it is determined that the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid, and the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device may be identified as invalid, so that when the terminal device selects a target cell for access, it may be quickly determined whether the RRC configuration of the target cell to the terminal device is invalid according to the identifier of the RRC configuration of the target cell to the terminal device.
For the above step 302 and step 303, if the candidate cells include at least two candidate cells, the at least two candidate cells may be further divided into a first cell and a second cell according to a type of RRC configuration of each of the at least two candidate cells to the terminal device, where the first cell is a candidate cell in the at least two candidate cells, to which dedicated radio resource control configuration and common radio resource control configuration are configured for the terminal device, and the second cell is a candidate cell in the at least two candidate cells, to which dedicated radio resource control configuration is not configured for the terminal device and common radio resource control configuration is configured. And configuring automatic handover configuration timers for the first cell and the second cell respectively, so as to monitor the state of the RRC configuration of the terminal equipment by the candidate cells of each type through the automatic handover configuration timer corresponding to the candidate cell of each type, so as to improve the accuracy of the state monitoring result of the RRC configuration of the terminal equipment by the candidate cells of each type, thereby reducing the probability of handover failure caused by the failure of the RRC configuration of the terminal equipment by the candidate cells.
Optionally, the starting, by the terminal device, an automatic switching configuration timer includes: the terminal equipment starts a first automatic switching configuration timer and/or a second automatic switching configuration timer;
correspondingly, if the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, the determining, by the terminal device, that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid includes: if the first automatic switching configuration timer is overtime, the terminal equipment determines that the radio resource control configuration of the first cell to the terminal equipment is invalid; and/or if the second automatic switching configuration timer is overtime, the terminal equipment determines that the radio resource control configuration of the second cell to the terminal equipment is invalid.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the terminal device may start the automatic handover configuration timer (that is, the first automatic handover configuration timer and the second automatic handover configuration timer) of the first cell and/or the second cell when receiving the automatic handover configuration information sent by the base station, or may start the automatic handover configuration timer of the first cell and/or the second cell when starting the automatic handover (that is, when the automatic handover timer times out).
For example, if the terminal device starts a first automatic handover configuration timer, determining whether the first automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, and if the first automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, determining that the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first cell is invalid; and if the terminal equipment starts a second automatic switching configuration timer, judging whether the second automatic switching configuration timer is overtime, and if the second automatic switching configuration timer is overtime, determining that the wireless resource control configuration of the terminal equipment by the second cell is invalid.
Optionally, the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer of each type of candidate cell may be determined according to the information of the automatic handover configuration timer corresponding thereto, so that the accuracy of the state monitoring result of the RRC configuration of the terminal device for each type of candidate cell may be higher.
Specifically, if the automatic handover configuration timer of a certain type of candidate cell is overtime, it is determined that the RRC configuration of the terminal device by the one or more candidate cells of the type is invalid, and the RRC configuration of the terminal device by the one or more candidate cells of the type may be identified as invalid.
Optionally, the starting, by the terminal device, an automatic switching configuration timer includes: the terminal equipment starts a third automatic switching configuration timer and/or a fourth automatic switching configuration timer;
correspondingly, if the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, the determining, by the terminal device, that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid includes: if the third automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, the terminal equipment determines that the special radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment is invalid; and/or if the fourth automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, the terminal device determines that the common radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the third automatic handover configuration timer is configured to monitor a state of dedicated radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device, and the fourth automatic handover configuration timer is configured to monitor a state of common radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device. The terminal device may start the third automatic handover configuration timer and/or the fourth automatic handover configuration timer when receiving the automatic handover configuration information sent by the base station, or may start the third automatic handover configuration timer and/or the fourth automatic handover configuration timer when starting the automatic handover (i.e., when the automatic handover timer times out).
Specifically, if the terminal device starts a third automatic handover configuration timer, determining whether the third automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, and if the third automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, determining that the dedicated radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by one or more candidate cells is invalid; and if the terminal equipment starts a fourth automatic switching configuration timer, judging whether the fourth automatic switching configuration timer is overtime, and if the fourth automatic switching configuration timer is overtime, determining that the public radio resource control configuration of the terminal equipment by one or more candidate cells is invalid.
Optionally, the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer may be determined according to the corresponding automatic handover configuration timer information, so that the accuracy of the state monitoring result of different types of RRC configurations of the terminal device by the candidate cell may be higher.
Specifically, if the automatic handover configuration timer of a certain type of candidate cell is overtime, it is determined that the RRC configuration of the terminal device by all candidate cells of the type is invalid, and the RRC configuration of the terminal device by all candidate cells of the type may be identified as invalid.
Step 304, when the terminal device selects a first target cell from the candidate cells to access, determining whether the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell to the terminal device is valid.
In this embodiment of the present invention, when the terminal device selects the first target cell from the candidate cells to access, it may be determined whether the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell for the terminal device is valid by detecting whether an automatic handover configuration timer of the first target cell is overtime, for example, if the automatic handover configuration timer of the first target cell is detected to be overtime, it is determined that the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell for the terminal device is invalid, and if the automatic handover configuration timer of the first target cell is detected to be not overtime, it is determined that the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell for the terminal device is valid.
The embodiment of the present invention may also determine whether the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is valid by detecting an identifier of the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell, for example, if it is detected that the identifier of the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell indicates that the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is invalid, it is determined that the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is invalid, and if it is detected that the identifier of the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell indicates that the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is valid, it is determined that the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is valid.
Specifically, if the first target cell is valid for the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device, step 305 is executed, otherwise step 306 is executed.
Step 305, the terminal device accesses the first target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell to the terminal device.
In the embodiment of the present invention, if the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is valid, the terminal device accesses the first target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell.
Optionally, if the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is valid, the accessing, by the terminal device, to the first target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell includes: if the first target cell is effective to the radio resource control configuration of the terminal equipment, the terminal equipment accesses the first target cell by applying the public radio resource control configuration and/or the special radio resource control configuration of the first target cell to the terminal equipment.
For example, for a target cell in which only cell information and common RRC configuration are configured for the terminal device, the terminal device may apply the common RRC configuration to access the target cell; for a target cell configured with a common RRC configuration and a dedicated RRC configuration for a terminal device, the terminal device may access the target cell by applying the common RRC configuration and the dedicated RRC configuration, and may also access the target cell by applying the dedicated RRC configuration. The dedicated RRC configuration Access target cell configured for the terminal device by the application target cell may specifically be a C-RNTI, a security algorithm, a key, and a dedicated radio resource configuration in the dedicated RRC configuration applied by the terminal device, and the dedicated Random Access Channel (RACH) is used to configure the Access target cell.
Specifically, the common RRC configuration may include a system broadcast block of the candidate cell, so that the terminal device obtains system information of the candidate cell, and service interruption time for the terminal device to switch to the candidate cell is reduced; the dedicated RRC configuration comprises security parameter configuration, C-RNTI configuration, dedicated RACH resource configuration and the like of the terminal equipment in the candidate cell, so that the terminal equipment can obtain the dedicated resource configuration in the candidate cell, and the switching speed of the terminal equipment to the candidate cell is increased.
Step 306, the terminal device does not apply the first target cell to access the first target cell for the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device.
In the embodiment of the present invention, if the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is invalid, the terminal device does not apply the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell to access the first target cell.
Optionally, if the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell to the terminal device fails, the accessing, by the terminal device, to the first target cell without applying the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell to the terminal device includes: if the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is invalid, the terminal device does not apply the public radio resource control configuration and the special radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell to access the first target cell, or the terminal device does not apply the special radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell to access the first target cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, if the terminal device does not use the dedicated radio resource control configuration of the first target cell for the terminal device to access the first target cell, it is not excluded that the terminal device may use the common radio resource control configuration to access the first target cell.
For example, if the target cell only configures cell information and common RRC configuration for the terminal device, the terminal device may not access the target cell using the common RRC configuration configured by the target cell for the terminal device, or may access the target cell using the common RRC configuration; if the target cell configures the common RRC configuration and the dedicated RRC configuration for the terminal device, the terminal device may access the target cell without applying the dedicated RRC configuration, and the terminal device may access the target cell without applying the common RRC configuration.
Optionally, if the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is valid, after the terminal device accesses the first target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell, the method further includes: and the terminal equipment sets the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell to the terminal equipment to be in a failure state, and stops the timing of the automatic switching configuration timer.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the terminal device accesses the first target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell to the terminal device, the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell to the terminal device may be set to a failure state, and the automatic handover configuration timer may be stopped, so that the terminal device may not reselect the candidate cell (that is, the first target cell) as the target cell for automatic handover after the terminal device fails to access the first target cell, or may not apply the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device even if the candidate cell may be reselected as the target cell for automatic handover.
Optionally, if the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell is valid, after the terminal device accesses the first target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell, the method further includes: the terminal equipment starts an automatic switching completion timer; the terminal equipment judges whether the automatic switching completion timer is overtime or not; if the automatic switching completion timer is overtime, the terminal equipment determines that the switching to the first target cell fails; and if the automatic switching completion timer is not overtime and the terminal equipment is successfully accessed into the first target cell, stopping the timing of the automatic switching completion timer.
In practical application, when automatic handover is too early or an inappropriate automatic handover target cell is selected, the terminal device cannot complete handover for a long time, resulting in an excessively long service interruption time.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the terminal device accesses the first target cell by using the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device from the first target cell, for example, after the terminal device initiates access to the first target cell by using the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device from the first target cell, an automatic handover completion timer may be started, and whether the automatic handover completion timer is overtime or not is determined, if the automatic handover completion timer is overtime, the terminal device determines that handover to the first target cell is failed, and if the automatic handover completion timer is not overtime and the terminal device is successfully accessed to the first target cell, the terminal device stops timing of the automatic handover completion timer, so that it is possible to avoid that the terminal device switches to the first target cell for too long time to affect normal communication of the terminal device.
Specifically, the duration of the automatic handover completion timer may be obtained from automatic handover completion timer information sent from the original base station to the terminal device. The automatic handover completion timer information may be set by the original base station or may be set by the candidate base station, and is sent to the original base station through the automatic handover preparation response. The original base station can send the automatic switching completion timer information and other automatic switching configuration information to the terminal equipment, so that the terminal equipment can acquire the duration of the automatic switching completion timer from the automatic switching completion timer information.
Optionally, if the automatic handover completion timer is overtime, after the terminal device determines that handover to the first target cell fails, the method further includes: and the terminal equipment sets the radio resource control configuration of the first target cell to the terminal equipment to be in a failure state, and stops the automatic switching configuration timer for timing.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the terminal device determines that the handover to the first target cell fails, the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the first target cell may be set to a failure state, and the automatic handover configuration timer may be stopped.
It should be noted that, when each candidate cell is configured with the corresponding automatic handover configuration timer, only the automatic handover configuration timer corresponding to the first target cell may be stopped.
It should be noted that, after the terminal device determines that the handover to the first target cell is successful, the radio resource control configuration of all candidate cells to the terminal device may be set to a failure state, and the automatic handover configuration timer is stopped.
Optionally, if the automatic handover completion timer is overtime, after the terminal device determines that handover to the first target cell fails, the method further includes: judging whether the number of times of continuously initiating switching by the terminal equipment is less than a preset number of times; if the number of times of continuously initiating the switching by the terminal equipment is less than the preset number of times, the terminal equipment reselects a second target cell; and if the times of continuously initiating the switching by the terminal equipment are not less than the preset times, the terminal equipment sends a request for reestablishing the radio resource control connection to the original base station.
In the embodiment of the invention, the number n of times of initiating the switching can be set to 0 before the terminal equipment initiates the switching, the number n of times of initiating the switching by the terminal equipment is added with 1 when the terminal equipment initiates the switching each time, and the number n of times of initiating the switching by the terminal equipment is reset to 0 after the terminal equipment is successfully accessed into the target cell or after the terminal equipment sends a radio resource control connection reestablishment request to the original base station.
Specifically, after the terminal device determines that the handover to the first target cell fails, the embodiment of the present invention first determines whether the number of times that the terminal device continuously initiates the handover is less than a preset number of times, where the preset number of times may be reasonably set according to an actual situation. And if the number of times of continuously initiating the switching by the terminal equipment is less than the preset number of times, the terminal equipment reselects a target cell for accessing (namely selects a second target cell), otherwise, the terminal equipment sends a radio resource control connection reestablishment request to the original base station so as to initiate a radio resource control connection reestablishment process.
It should be noted that the second target cell may be any one of all candidate cells, that is, include the first target cell, or may be a candidate cell other than the first target cell among all candidate cells. And after the terminal equipment selects the second target cell, judging whether the RRC configuration of the second target cell to the terminal equipment is effective, if so, accessing the second target cell by applying the RRC configuration of the second target cell to the terminal equipment, otherwise, accessing the second target cell without applying the RRC configuration of the second target cell to the terminal equipment.
Optionally, after the terminal device starts the automatic handover completion timer, the method further includes: the terminal equipment judges whether the automatic switching configuration timer is overtime or not; if the automatic switching configuration timer is overtime, the terminal equipment determines that the switching to the first target cell fails, and reselects a second target cell, or sends a radio resource control connection reestablishment request to the original base station.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the terminal device starts the automatic handover completion timer, the terminal device may continue to detect whether the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, determine that handover to the first target cell is failed when the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, and may reselect the second target cell, or send a radio resource control connection reestablishment request to the original base station, that is, initiate a radio resource control connection reestablishment procedure, so as to reduce the switching time that is too long due to RRC configuration failure of the terminal device by the first target cell.
Optionally, the starting, by the terminal device, an automatic handover completion timer includes: and if the first target cell is configured with special radio resource control configuration for the terminal equipment, the terminal equipment starts the automatic switching completion timer.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the target cell only configures the cell information and the common RRC for the terminal equipment, the terminal equipment initiates an automatic switching request process (similar to the process of RRC connection reestablishment) to complete the switching, and each message of the automatic switching request process is controlled by a specific timer, so that the automatic switching completion timer is not required to be adopted to control the switching completion time. If the target cell configures the dedicated RRC configuration for the terminal device, the terminal device sends an automatic handover complete message to the target cell for access, and the terminal device needs to start an automatic handover complete timer to control the time of handover completion.
It should be noted that, the above optional embodiments may be arbitrarily combined according to the actual situation, and the embodiment of the present invention does not limit this.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a flowchart of a cell handover method according to another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, including the following steps:
step 401, a terminal device receives automatic switching configuration information and automatic switching configuration timer information sent by an original base station, where the automatic switching configuration information includes radio resource control configuration of a candidate cell to the terminal device.
This step is the same as step 201 or step 301.
Step 402, the terminal device starts an automatic switching configuration timer.
This step is the same as step 202 or step 302 described above.
Step 403, the terminal device determines whether the automatic switching configuration timer is overtime.
Specifically, if the auto-switching configuration timer is over, step 404 is executed, otherwise step 406 is executed.
Step 404, the terminal device determines that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid.
Step 405, when the terminal device selects a target cell from the candidate cells for access, the terminal device does not initiate access to the target cell by using the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal device.
In the embodiment of the invention, if the terminal equipment determines that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment is invalid, when the terminal equipment selects the target cell from the candidate cells for access, the terminal equipment does not initiate access to the target cell by using the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal equipment.
Optionally, the step of the terminal device not configuring, by using the target cell, the radio resource control of the terminal device to access the target cell includes: the terminal equipment does not access the target cell by applying the public radio resource control configuration and/or the special radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal equipment.
Step 406, the terminal device determines that the candidate cell is valid for the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device.
Step 407, when the terminal device selects a target cell from the candidate cells for access, the terminal device initiates access to the target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal device.
In the embodiment of the invention, if the terminal equipment determines that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment is effective, when the terminal equipment selects the target cell from the candidate cell to access, the terminal equipment initiates access to the target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal equipment.
Optionally, the step of configuring, by the terminal device, the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by using the target cell to access the target cell includes: the terminal equipment accesses the target cell by applying the public radio resource control configuration and/or the special radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal equipment.
The dedicated RRC configuration configured for the terminal device by the application target cell accesses the target cell, specifically, the dedicated RRC configuration may be a C-RNTI, a security algorithm, a key, and a dedicated radio resource configuration in the dedicated RRC configuration applied by the terminal device, and the dedicated RACH configuration is used to access the target cell.
And step 408, the terminal equipment starts an automatic switching completion timer.
In practical application, when automatic handover is too early or an inappropriate automatic handover target cell is selected, the terminal device cannot complete handover for a long time, resulting in an excessively long service interruption time. The embodiment of the invention can complete the monitoring of the switching time length by the timer through automatic switching so as to avoid the influence on the normal communication of the terminal equipment caused by too long time for the terminal equipment to be switched to the target cell.
Step 409, the terminal equipment judges whether the automatic switching completion timer is overtime.
Specifically, if the automatic handover completion timer is over time, step 410 is executed, otherwise step 411 is executed.
Step 410, the terminal device determines that the handover to the target cell fails.
Specifically, if the handover to the target cell fails, the terminal device may reselect the target cell for automatic handover to access or initiate an RRC connection reestablishment procedure.
It should be noted that, if the terminal device fails to initiate access to the target cell, the terminal device is allowed to reselect the candidate cell (i.e., the candidate cell that failed the current handover) as the target cell, and initiate access by applying the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device. In addition, when the terminal device reselects the candidate cell (i.e., the candidate cell that failed the current handover) as the target cell, it still needs to determine whether the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is valid, and if so, initiates access to the RRC configuration of the terminal device by using the candidate cell; otherwise, the terminal equipment does not apply the candidate cell to initiate access to the RRC configuration of the terminal equipment.
Step 411, if the terminal device accesses the target cell successfully, the terminal device stops the automatic handover completion timer.
Therefore, the embodiment of the invention completes the monitoring of the switching time length by the timer through automatic switching so as to avoid the influence on the normal communication of the terminal equipment caused by the overlong time for switching the terminal equipment to the target cell.
Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a flowchart of a cell handover method according to another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 5, including the following steps:
step 501, a terminal device receives automatic switching configuration information and automatic switching configuration timer information sent by an original base station, wherein the automatic switching configuration information includes radio resource control configuration of a candidate cell to the terminal device.
This step is the same as step 201 or step 301.
Step 502, the terminal device starts an automatic switching configuration timer.
This step is the same as step 202 or step 302 described above.
Step 503, the terminal device determines whether the automatic switching configuration timer is overtime.
Specifically, if the auto-switching configuration timer is over, step 504 is executed, otherwise step 506 is executed.
Step 504, the terminal device determines that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid.
And 505, when the terminal equipment selects a target cell from the candidate cells for access, the terminal equipment does not initiate access to the target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal equipment.
This step is the same as step 405 described above and will not be described herein.
Step 506, the terminal device determines that the candidate cell is valid for the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device.
Step 507, when the terminal equipment selects a target cell from the candidate cells to access, the terminal equipment initiates access to the target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal equipment.
This step is the same as step 407 described above, and is not described herein again.
And step 508, the terminal equipment starts an automatic switching completion timer.
This step is the same as step 408 described above and will not be described herein again.
In step 509, the terminal device determines whether the automatic handover complete timer is over time.
Specifically, if the automatic handover completion timer is over time, step 510 is executed, otherwise, step 511 is executed.
Step 510, the terminal device determines that the handover to the target cell fails, and reselects the target cell for automatic handover.
In the embodiment of the present invention, if the automatic handover completion timer is overtime, the terminal device determines that the handover to the target cell fails, reselects the target cell for automatic handover, and returns to execute step 503.
Optionally, the number N of times that the terminal device is allowed to continuously initiate handover may be preset in the embodiment of the present invention, so that after the nth automatic handover of the terminal device fails, the terminal device may stop executing the automatic handover process and initiate an RRC connection reestablishment process.
Step 511, if the terminal device is successfully accessed to the target cell, the terminal device stops the automatic switching completion timer.
In this way, in the embodiment of the present invention, when it is determined that the target cell fails to be accessed by the automatic handover completion timer, the target cell for automatic handover is reselected, and whether the RRC configuration of the newly selected target cell to the target device is valid is determined again, and if so, the RRC configuration of the newly selected target cell to the terminal device is applied to initiate access to the newly selected target cell, so as to accelerate completion of handover.
The embodiment of the invention also provides a cell switching method, which is applied to the original base station. Referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a flowchart of a cell handover method according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 6, including the following steps:
step 601, the original base station receives automatic switching configuration information sent by the candidate base station, wherein the automatic switching configuration information comprises the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the automatic handover configuration information includes radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device, and the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device may include 3 types: only configuring cell information for the terminal equipment; only configuring cell information and common RRC configuration for the terminal equipment; and configuring cell information, public RRC configuration and special RRC configuration for the terminal equipment.
The cell information may include physical cell identifiers and carrier frequency information of candidate cells, so that the terminal device accelerates the cell search speed; the common RRC configuration may include a system broadcast block of the candidate cell, so that the terminal device obtains system information of the candidate cell, and service interruption time for the terminal device to switch to the candidate cell is reduced; the dedicated RRC configuration comprises security parameter configuration, C-RNTI configuration, dedicated RACH resource configuration and the like of the terminal equipment in the candidate cell, so that the terminal equipment can obtain the dedicated resource configuration in the candidate cell, and the switching speed of the terminal equipment to the candidate cell is increased.
Specifically, in the process of preparing for automatic handover, the original base station may request one or at least two candidate cells of one or at least two candidate base stations to perform RRC configuration on the terminal device by sending an automatic handover preparation request message to the candidate base stations, and the RRC configuration of the candidate cells on the terminal device is sent to the original base station by the candidate base stations through an automatic handover preparation response.
Step 602, the original base station sends the automatic switching configuration information and the automatic switching configuration timer information to a terminal device, so that the terminal device performs automatic switching according to the automatic switching configuration information and the automatic switching configuration timer information.
The automatic handover configuration timer information may be configured by the original base station, or may be configured by the candidate base station, and may be sent to the original base station through an automatic handover preparation response message. Optionally, the information of the automatic handover configuration timer may include a duration of the automatic handover configuration timer, and may also include an absolute time when the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device fails (that is, a time when the RRC configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device fails), so that the terminal device may configure the automatic handover configuration timer according to the information of the automatic handover configuration timer.
Specifically, the original base station sends the automatic handover configuration information and the automatic handover configuration timer information to the terminal device, so that the terminal device performs cell handover according to the automatic handover configuration information and the automatic handover configuration timer information, for example, the terminal device may start the automatic handover configuration timer according to the automatic handover configuration timer information to monitor the state of the RRC configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device, so as to facilitate the terminal device to reasonably decide whether to access the candidate cell by applying the RRC configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device, for example, the candidate cell may be accessed by applying the radio resource control configuration of the pair of terminal devices when the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device is valid, and the candidate cell may be accessed by not applying the radio resource control configuration of the pair of terminal devices when the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device is invalid, to reduce the probability of handover failure.
Optionally, the information of the automatic handover configuration timer includes a duration of the automatic handover configuration timer or a time when the radio resource control configuration of the terminal device by the candidate cell is invalid.
Specifically, the time when the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device is failed, that is, the absolute time when the RRC configuration of the candidate cell for the terminal device is failed, for example, the time when the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell a for the terminal device is failed is 30 minutes and 30 seconds at 08/3/7/2017, or the time when the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell a for the terminal device is failed is the time when SFN is 1023.
Optionally, the terminal device may also correct the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer according to the initial sending time of the time length that the original base station sends the automatic switching configuration timer and the starting time of the automatic switching configuration timer, for example, a difference value between the initial sending time of the time length that the original base station sends the automatic switching configuration timer and the starting time of the automatic switching configuration timer is subtracted from the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer is used as the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer.
Optionally, the information of the automatic handover configuration timer is information sent by the candidate base station.
Specifically, in the automatic handover preparation process, the original base station may request one or at least two candidate cells of one or at least two candidate base stations to perform RRC configuration on the terminal device by sending an automatic handover preparation request message to the candidate base station, and the RRC configuration of the terminal device by the candidate cells and the automatic handover configuration timer information are sent to the original base station by the candidate base station through an automatic handover preparation response.
Optionally, if the information of the automatic handover configuration timer includes a duration of the automatic handover configuration timer set by the candidate base station, before the original base station sends the information of the automatic handover configuration timer and the information of the automatic handover configuration timer to the terminal device, the method further includes: the original base station corrects the duration of the automatic switching configuration timer set by the candidate base station to obtain the corrected duration of the automatic switching configuration timer;
the original base station sends the automatic switching configuration information and the automatic switching configuration timer information to the terminal equipment, and the automatic switching configuration information and the automatic switching configuration timer information comprise: and the original base station sends the automatic switching configuration information and the corrected duration of the automatic switching configuration timer to the terminal equipment.
In practical application, because the candidate base station hardly estimates the time when the terminal device receives the information of the automatic handover configuration timer, the candidate base station may set the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer as the duration of the candidate cell reserved RRC configuration, and then the original base station corrects the duration of the candidate cell reserved RRC configuration to the duration of the candidate cell reserved RRC configuration used by the terminal device, for example, the duration of the candidate cell reserved RRC configuration may be subtracted by the X2 signaling delay of the automatic handover preparation response message sent from the candidate base station to the original base station, which is estimated by the original base station, to be the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer used by the terminal device.
For example, the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer set by the candidate base station is 5 seconds and is sent to the original base station, the original base station subtracts 50 milliseconds from the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer 5 seconds by the X2 signaling delay of the automatic handover preparation response message sent by the candidate base station to the original base station, so as to obtain the modified duration of the automatic handover configuration timer, that is, 4950 milliseconds, and sends the modified duration to the terminal device.
The embodiment of the invention can improve the accuracy of the monitoring result of the candidate cell on the RRC configuration state of the terminal equipment by correcting the duration of the automatic switching configuration timer set by the candidate base station through the original base station and then sending the modified duration to the terminal equipment.
Optionally, if the information of the automatic switching configuration timer includes a duration of the automatic switching configuration timer, the sending, by the original base station, the information of the automatic switching configuration timer and the information of the automatic switching configuration timer to the terminal device includes: and the original base station sends the automatic switching configuration information, the automatic switching configuration timer information and the initial sending time of the automatic switching configuration timer information sent by the original base station to the terminal equipment, so that the terminal equipment corrects the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer according to the initial sending time of the automatic switching configuration timer information sent by the original base station.
In practical applications, due to the LBT (Listen Before Talk) mechanism, it is often difficult for the base station of the terminal device (i.e. the original base station) to predict when the terminal device receives the automatic handover configuration timer information, therefore, the original base station can send the initial sending time of the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer and the time length of the automatic switching configuration timer to the terminal equipment, so that the terminal equipment can determine the time delay of the original base station for sending the automatic switching information according to the initial sending time of the automatic switching configuration timer information, and subtracting the time delay from the received time length of the automatic switching configuration timer to obtain the corrected time length of the automatic switching configuration timer, and controlling the automatic switching configuration timer through the corrected time length of the automatic switching configuration timer so as to improve the accuracy of the monitoring result of the candidate cell on the RRC configuration state of the terminal equipment.
For example, the duration of the automatic handover configuration timer of the candidate base station device is 5 seconds, the starting time of the automatic handover configuration timer sent by the original base station to the terminal device is the time when the SFN is 0, the time when the terminal device receives the automatic handover configuration timer information and starts the automatic handover configuration timer is the time when the SFN is 100, the length of each system frame is 10 milliseconds, and the duration of the modified automatic handover configuration timer is 4 seconds.
Referring to fig. 7, fig. 7 is a flowchart of a cell handover method according to another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 7, including the following steps:
step 701, the original base station sends an automatic handover preparation request to the candidate base station.
Specifically, in the automatic handover preparation process, the original base station may request one or at least two candidate cells of one or at least two candidate base stations to perform RRC configuration on the terminal device by sending an automatic handover preparation request to the candidate base stations.
Step 702, the candidate base station sends an automatic handover preparation response to the original base station.
Specifically, the RRC configuration (i.e., the automatic handover configuration information) of the candidate cell to the terminal device is sent from the candidate base station to the original base station through the automatic handover preparation response.
If the automatic handover configuration timer information is configured by the candidate base station, the automatic handover configuration timer information may be collectively transmitted to the original base station through the automatic handover preparation response.
Step 703, the original base station sends automatic switching information to the terminal device.
Specifically, the automatic switching information may include the automatic switching configuration information and the automatic switching configuration timer information.
Step 704, the terminal device starts an automatic switching configuration timer.
Specifically, the terminal device may start the automatic switching configuration timer after receiving the automatic switching information.
It should be noted that the terminal device may start the automatic switchover configuration timer when the automatic switchover is started (i.e., when the automatic switchover timer times out).
Step 705, if the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, the terminal device determines that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal device is invalid.
In the embodiment of the invention, if the automatic switching configuration timer is overtime, the terminal equipment determines that the radio resource control configuration of the candidate cell to the terminal equipment is invalid, the candidate cell can not be applied to initiate access to the RRC configuration of the terminal equipment, otherwise, the candidate cell can be applied to initiate access to the RRC configuration of the terminal equipment.
8, fig. 8 is a flowchart of a cell handover method according to another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 8, including the following steps:

This step is the same as step 703, and is not described herein again.
And step 804, the terminal equipment starts an automatic switching configuration timer.
This step is the same as step 704 described above and will not be described herein.
Step 805, the terminal device selects a target cell.
Specifically, the terminal device may select a target cell from the candidate cells.
Step 806, if the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal device is valid, the terminal device accesses the target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal device, otherwise, the terminal device accesses the target cell without applying the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal device.
Specifically, the terminal device may determine whether the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal device is valid by detecting whether the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, specifically, if the automatic handover configuration timer is overtime, it is determined that the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal device is invalid, otherwise, it is determined that the radio resource control configuration of the target cell to the terminal device is valid.
Step 807, accessing the target cell.
In the embodiment of the invention, if the radio resource control configuration of the terminal equipment by the target cell is effective, the terminal equipment can access the target cell by applying the radio resource control configuration of the terminal equipment by the target cell.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal equipment determines the validity of the RRC configuration of the target cell to the terminal equipment according to whether the automatic switching configuration timer is overtime or not, thereby determining whether the RRC configuration of the target cell to the terminal equipment is applied or not, and reducing the probability of automatic switching failure caused by the failure of the RRC configuration of the target cell to the terminal equipment.
