Step 101: and determining a page turning parameter of the electronic book in response to a reading instruction of the target user for the electronic book, which is received by the terminal.
In an embodiment, an electronic book can be understood as an electronic book, and the main formats of the electronic book include PDF, TXT and JAR, in practical application, when a user reads the electronic book through a terminal, the electronic book triggers a reading instruction for the electronic book, the reading instruction instructs to execute automatic page turning of the electronic book, and the electronic book can be in an automatic page turning reading mode or a manual page turning reading mode; for example, a user reads an electronic book by using reading software (e-book Application) in the terminal, and triggers a reading instruction for the electronic book by clicking the electronic book presented on the user interface, see fig. 2, where fig. 2 is an interface diagram for triggering the electronic book reading by the user according to the embodiment of the present invention, and when the terminal receives the reading instruction, the terminal triggers obtaining of a page turning parameter for the electronic book. When a user reads the electronic book in a manual page turning mode, the automatic page turning reading mode is entered according to actual conditions, and the determination of the page turning speed of the electronic book can be triggered by sending the reading instruction.
In one embodiment, the page turning parameter may be a first parameter representing the health status of the target user;
in another embodiment, the page turning parameter may further include: the second parameter is used for representing the average page turning speed of the electronic book of the type of the electronic book, and/or the third parameter is used for representing the silence degree of the environment where the terminal is located.
Next, the page turning parameter determination process will be described with respect to different parameter cases included in the page turning parameters.
In one embodiment, when the reading parameters include the first parameter, the first parameter characterizing the health status of the target user may be determined by:
acquiring health parameters of the target user within a period of time; the health parameter includes at least one of: sleep time, sleep quality, exercise time, work time; and determining the health state of the target user according to the health parameters of the target user.
Here, the period of time may be a preset period of time, wherein the period of time may be set according to actual needs, for example, two days ahead from the current time.
In actual implementation, the health monitoring APP installed on the terminal can acquire the health parameters of the user, or the communication connection of the wearable device with the health monitoring function worn by the user is established, and the health parameters are acquired from the wearable device worn by the user. For example, the sleep time and the sleep quality of the user can be monitored and obtained through a sleep APP (such as snail sleep) installed in the terminal; the movement time of the user can be monitored and obtained through a movement APP (e.g. corrdong) installed in the terminal; the working time of the user can be monitored and obtained through a work management APP (such as the whenI work and Jolt).
In an embodiment, the health parameters are presented in a scoring manner, the full score is 100, and different health parameters are described below.
Illustratively, for sleep time (which herein refers to average daily sleep time of a target user over a period of time), a score of 100 is assigned to sleep time when the user has 8 hours or more, a score of 80 is assigned to sleep time when the user has 6 hours or less than 8 hours, a score of 60 is assigned to sleep time when the user has 4 hours or less than 6 hours, and a score of 40 is assigned to sleep time when the user has less than 4 hours.
Illustratively, for the sleep quality (referring to the average daily sleep quality of a target user over a period of time), the score of 100 is assigned when the deep sleep time of the user is 5 hours or more, the score of 80 is assigned when the deep sleep time of the user reaches 3 hours and less than 5 hours, the score of 60 is assigned when the deep sleep time of the user reaches 2 hours and less than 3 hours, and the score of 40 is assigned when the deep sleep time of the user is less than 2 hours.
Illustratively, for exercise time (referring to average daily exercise time of a target user over a period of time), exercise time scores of 100 when the exercise time reaches 2 hours or more, 80 when the exercise time reaches 1 hour and less than 2 hours, 60 when the exercise time reaches 30 minutes and less than 1 hour, and 40 when the exercise time is less than 30 minutes.
Next, the determination of the health status of the target user, i.e. the first parameter, is described, and the health status is characterized in a scoring manner.
When the health parameters comprise one of sleep time, sleep quality, exercise time and working time, the scores of the health states are the scores of the corresponding health parameters; for example, when the health parameter is sleep time, if the sleep time score is 60 points, the health status of the user is scored 60 points.
When the health parameters comprise two or more of sleep time, sleep quality, exercise time and working time, the score of the health state is obtained by adopting a weighted sum mode of scores of a plurality of health parameters; the health parameters including sleep time, sleep quality and exercise time are taken as examples for explanation. The weighting values corresponding to the sleep time, the sleep quality and the exercise time are respectively 0.4, 0.4 and 0.2, the scores corresponding to the sleep time, the sleep quality and the exercise time are respectively 80 scores, 80 scores and 60 scores, and the score of the health state of the user is 76 scores through weighted summation calculation.
In one embodiment, when the page turning parameter includes the second parameter, the second parameter may be determined by:
acquiring identification information carried by an electronic book, wherein the identification information is used for identifying the type of the electronic book; determining the type of the electronic book according to the identification information; acquiring page turning records of the type of electronic book; and determining a second parameter representing the average page turning speed of the type of electronic book according to the page turning record, namely determining the average page turning speed of the type of electronic book.
Here, the identification information may be a tag, in an example, the terminal may preset a correspondence between a tag and a type of the electronic book, and after the terminal acquires the tag of the electronic book, the type of the electronic book corresponding to the tag may be determined according to the tag and the preset correspondence between the tag and the type; the type of the e-book currently read by the user may include: professional, leisure, etc. For example, the terminal may obtain the tag of the e-book "big phone data structure" that the user is currently reading: and (4) algorithm class, and then determining the type of the electronic book currently read by the user to be professional class according to the label.
In an embodiment, the obtaining of the page turning record of the type of the electronic book may be obtaining of the page turning record of the target user for the type of the electronic book, or obtaining of the page turning records of all other users for the type of the electronic book, or obtaining of the page turning record of the target user for the type of the electronic book first, and if there is no page turning record of the target user for the type of the electronic book, obtaining of the page turning records of all other users for the type of the electronic book, and then calculating the corresponding average page turning speed according to the obtained page turning records.
In practical implementation, the second parameter is presented in a scoring manner, a mapping relationship exists between the average page turning speed of the electronic book and the score of the second parameter, the average page turning speed of different electronic books corresponds to different scores of the second parameter, and the full score is 100 minutes, for example, when the average page turning speed reaches 8 seconds/page or more, the score of the corresponding second parameter is 100 minutes, when the average page turning speed reaches 15 seconds/page and is less than 8 seconds/page, the score of the corresponding second parameter is 80 minutes, when the average page turning speed reaches 20 seconds/page and is less than 15 seconds/page, the score of the corresponding second parameter is 60 minutes, and when the average page turning speed is less than 20 seconds/page, the score of the corresponding second parameter is 40 minutes.
In one embodiment, when the reading parameters include the third parameter, the third parameter may be determined by:
acquiring audio data of the environment where the terminal is located within a first specified time period; determining an average decibel value for the audio data over the first specified time period; determining a third parameter characterizing a degree of silence of an environment in which the terminal is located based on the determined average decibel value.
Here, in practical applications, the terminal performs audio data acquisition on the surrounding environment within a period of time, such as 2 minutes, further calculates an average decibel value within the 2 minute time, and evaluates the silence level of the current environment according to the determined average decibel value; in practical implementation, a mapping relation between the average decibel value and the silence level can be preset, and the current silence level is determined through the mapping relation, for example, when the average decibel value is between 0 and 40 decibels, the silence level is one level; the quiet level is two-level when the average decibel value is between 40 and 70 decibels, and three-level when the average decibel value is greater than 70 decibels.
In practical implementation, the third parameter is presented by means of scoring, a mapping relationship exists between the level of the quiet degree and the score of the third parameter, different levels correspond to different scores of the third parameter, and the score is 100, for example, when the quiet degree is one level, the score of the corresponding third parameter is 100, when the quiet degree is two levels, the score of the corresponding third parameter is 80, and when the quiet degree is three levels, the score of the corresponding third parameter is 60.
Step 102: determining a page turning speed of the electronic book based on the determined page turning parameter.
In one embodiment, the page turning parameter includes one of a first parameter, a second parameter and a third parameter, and a plurality of groups of mapping relations between the page turning parameter and the page turning speed are stored in the terminal; correspondingly, the terminal can determine the page turning speed of the electronic book by the following method:
acquiring a plurality of groups of mapping relations between page turning parameters and page turning speeds of the electronic book; and determining the page turning speed of the electronic book based on the obtained multiple groups of mapping relations and page turning parameters.
Taking the page turning parameter as the third parameter for representing the quiet degree of the environment where the terminal is located as an example, according to the multi-group mapping relationship between the page turning parameter and the page turning speed of the electronic book, when the quiet degree is of one level, namely the score of the third parameter is 100, the corresponding page turning speed is 10 seconds per page, and when the quiet degree is of two levels, namely the score of the third parameter is 80, the corresponding page turning speed is 15 seconds per page.
In an embodiment, the page turning parameters include at least two of the first parameter, the second parameter, and the third parameter, and accordingly, the terminal may determine the page turning speed of the electronic book by:
determining the weight value of the acquired page turning parameter; based on the weight value of each page turning parameter, carrying out weighted summation on the acquired page turning parameters; and determining the page turning speed of the electronic book according to the weighted summation result.
Taking the page turning parameters including the first parameter, the second parameter and the third parameter as an example, the page turning parameters have corresponding scores, for example, the score of the second parameter is obtained as 80, the score of the first parameter is obtained as 90, and the score of the third parameter is obtained as 70, it is determined that the weight value of the second parameter is 0.6, the weight value of the first parameter is 0.2, the weight value of the third parameter is 0.2, the three page turning parameters are weighted and summed to obtain 80 minutes, a plurality of groups of mapping relationships between the result of the weighted summation and the page turning speed are preset in the terminal, and the corresponding mapping relationships can be searched based on the obtained score values to obtain the page turning speed of the electronic book, for example, when the score is 90 to 100, the page turning; when the score is between 80 and 90, the page turn speed is 15 seconds per page.
Step 103: and turning pages of the electronic book according to the determined page turning speed.
In practical applications, a user may have a need to adjust the page turning speed during the reading process of an electronic book, for example, the overlap ratio between the content to be read and the content already read by the user is high, and the page turning speed needs to be increased; in an embodiment, the method further comprises:
positioning the current reading position of a target user; acquiring first content which is not read by the target user and second content which is read by the target user based on the reading position; and adjusting the page turning speed of the electronic book according to the first content and the second content.
Here, the current reading position of the target user may be located in different manners, for example, the terminal may use an eyeball tracking technology to monitor the gaze position of the eyeball of the user on the electronic book, so as to determine the reading position of the current target user; or the terminal calculates based on the current page turning speed and the retention time of the current page, and determines the current reading position of the target user.
In practical implementation, the first content that is not read by the target user may be N (positive integer) natural paragraphs that are not read by the target user from the current reading position, and the second content that is read by the target user may be M (positive integer) natural paragraphs that are read by the target user from the current reading position; alternatively, the first content not read by the target user may be the number of Q (positive integer) characters not read by the target user from the current reading position, and the second content read by the target user may be the number of J (positive integer) characters read by the target user from the current reading position;
accordingly, after the current reading position of the target user is located, the page turning speed of the electronic book can be adjusted in the following manner:
acquiring the content coincidence degree of the first content and the second content; and when the content contact ratio reaches a preset contact ratio threshold value, accelerating the page turning speed of the electronic book.
Here, in practical applications, the adjustment of the page turning speed of the electronic book may be implemented in a form of increasing or decreasing a preset percentage based on the current page turning speed of the electronic book, for example, when it is determined that the page turning speed of the electronic book needs to be increased, the current automatic page turning speed of the electronic book is increased by 10% based on the current automatic page turning speed of the electronic book, and when it is determined that the page turning speed of the electronic book needs to be decreased, the current automatic page turning speed of the electronic book is decreased by 5.
And the terminal determines the content coincidence degree of the first content and the second content by matching the first content and the second content.
Here, the content overlapping degree is explained, and in an embodiment, the content overlapping degree may be a ratio of the number of the same characters in the first content and the second content to the first content; the same text may be a text presented in a continuous manner, for example, the same text is a certain complete sentence included in both the first content and the second content; alternatively, the same words may be words presented in a discontinuous manner, for example, a first sentence of the first content and a second sentence of the second content both contain the same words, and the first sentence is different from the second sentence.
Taking the number of the characters of the first content as 200 characters and the number of the same characters in the first content and the second content as 100 characters as an example, the content coincidence degree of the first content and the second content is 0.5 by calculating the ratio of the 100 characters to the 200 characters. Assuming that the preset overlap threshold is 0.5, the overlap ratio of the first content and the second content reaches the preset overlap threshold, it can be known that most of the content to be read next by the user has already been read, the page turning speed of the electronic book can be increased, and when the overlap ratio of the first content and the second content does not reach the preset overlap threshold, it can be known that most of the content to be read next by the user is still unread content, so that the current page turning speed is kept unchanged, and automatic page turning is continued.
In an embodiment, when the content overlap ratio does not reach the preset overlap ratio threshold, whether the page turning speed needs to be adjusted may be further determined based on the operation amount of the user on the first content within a period of time, and correspondingly, the method further includes:
acquiring an operation record corresponding to the first content; determining the operation amount of the first content according to the operation record; when the operation amount reaches a preset operation amount threshold value, slowing down the page turning speed of the electronic book; when the operation amount does not reach a preset operation amount threshold value, keeping the current page turning speed unchanged; wherein the operation amount includes at least the number of operations.
Here, there may be various types of operations, such as a focus operation, an annotation operation, a sharing operation, a praise operation, and the like, with respect to the first content that is not read by the target user.
In an embodiment, the operation amount of the first content may be a sum of operation times of various operations on the first content, and when the counted sum of the operation times of the various operations on the first content reaches a preset operation amount threshold, the page turning speed of the electronic book is slowed down.
In one embodiment, different types of operations correspond to different weight values, and the terminal acquires the operation times and corresponding weight values of each type of operation in the operation record; according to the weight value of each type of operation, carrying out weighted summation on the operation times of each operation; and taking the weighted summation result as the operation amount of the first content, and slowing down the page turning speed of the electronic book when the operation amount reaches a preset operation amount threshold value.
In an embodiment, the operation amount may also be an operation duration, for example, the operation of the user on the first content is adding an annotation, and the terminal may monitor the operation duration of the operation to determine the attention of the user on the part of the content, and when the operation duration reaches a preset duration threshold, slow down the page turning speed of the electronic book.
In practical implementation, the terminal can also adjust the page turning speed according to the manual page turning condition of the user: the terminal monitors page turning operation of the target user on the electronic book in a second specified time period; when page turning operation of a target user exists in a second designated time period, acquiring the operation type and the corresponding operation times of the page turning operation; and adjusting the page turning speed of the electronic book according to the acquired operation type and the corresponding operation times.
In an embodiment, the terminal may adjust the page turning speed of the electronic book according to the obtained operation type and the corresponding operation times as follows:
when the operation type represents that the page turning operation is forward page turning and the corresponding operation times reach a first operation time threshold, slowing down the page turning speed of the electronic book; and when the operation type represents that the page turning operation is backward page turning and the corresponding operation times reach a second operation time threshold, accelerating the page turning speed of the electronic book. The threshold of the number of operations may be set according to actual needs.
In practical implementation, the terminal may further adjust the page turning speed according to an actual reading condition (e.g., reading speed) of the target user, and in an embodiment, the terminal obtains the reading speed of the target user corresponding to the electronic book; comparing the reading speed with the page turning speed of the electronic book to obtain a comparison result; and adjusting the page turning speed of the electronic book according to the comparison result.
In an embodiment, the terminal may obtain the reading speed of the target user corresponding to the electronic book by: monitoring the change of the gazing position of the target user on the electronic book in a third specified time period; and calculating the reading speed of the target user corresponding to the electronic book according to the monitored change of the viewing position in the third designated time period. For example, the terminal monitors the gaze position of the eyeball of the user on the electronic book, obtains the fourth row of the second segment of the current reading page when the eyeball of the user is watching (or monitors the second segment of the current reading page when the eyeball of the user is watching, and specifically can determine according to the recognition accuracy of the terminal on the gaze position of the eyeball of the user on the electronic book), and then calculates the reading speed of the electronic book corresponding to the user according to the staying time of the current reading page.
In one embodiment, when a terminal determines that the reading speed of a target user is greater than the current page turning speed of an electronic book, the page turning speed of the electronic book is increased; and when the reading speed is determined to be smaller than the current page turning speed of the electronic book, slowing down the page turning speed of the electronic book.
By applying the embodiment of the invention, the terminal automatically realizes the determination of the page turning speed of the electronic book based on different page turning parameters without manually setting the page turning speed by a user, and the determination of the page turning speed of the electronic book is based on the page turning parameters, so that the determined page turning speed of the electronic book is more suitable for the actual requirements of the user; in the process of reading the electronic book by the user, the page turning speed is automatically adjusted by combining the actual condition of the current electronic book and the requirement of the user, manual adjustment of the user is not needed, and the user experience is greatly improved.
As another optional embodiment of the method for turning a page of an electronic book according to an embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic flow chart of the method for turning a page of an electronic book according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method for turning a page of an electronic book according to an embodiment of the present invention includes:
step 201: the terminal receives a reading instruction of the electronic book.
Step 202: the terminal determines page turning parameters of the electronic book.
In this embodiment, the page turning parameters include: the terminal comprises a first parameter representing the health state of a target user, a second parameter representing the average page turning speed of an electronic book of the type of the electronic book, and a third parameter representing the silence degree of the environment where the terminal is located.
In actual implementation, a terminal acquires identification information carried by an electronic book, wherein the identification information is used for identifying the type of the electronic book; determining the type of the electronic book according to the identification information; acquiring page turning records of the type of electronic book; and determining a second parameter representing the average page turning speed of the electronic book of the type of the electronic book according to the page turning records.
In actual implementation, the terminal acquires health parameters of a target user within a period of time; the health parameters include at least one of: sleep time, sleep quality, exercise time, work time; and determining the health state of the target user according to the health parameters of the target user.
In actual implementation, the terminal acquires audio data of the environment where the terminal is located within a first specified time period; determining an average decibel value for audio data over the first specified time period; determining a third parameter characterizing a degree of silence of an environment in which the terminal is located based on the determined average decibel value.
Step 203: and determining the page turning speed of the electronic book based on the determined page turning parameters.
In actual implementation, the terminal determines the weight value of the acquired page turning parameter; based on the weight value of each page turning parameter, carrying out weighted summation on the acquired page turning parameters; and determining the page turning speed of the electronic book according to the weighted summation result.
Here, the page turning parameters are presented in a scoring manner, and the determination process of the scores of the first parameter, the second parameter, and the third parameter is referred to the foregoing description, which is not described herein again. For example, the score of the second parameter is 80, the score of the first parameter is 90, the score of the third parameter is 70, the weight value of the second parameter is determined to be 0.6, the weight value of the first parameter is 0.2, the weight value of the third parameter is 0.2, and the three page turning parameters are weighted and summed to obtain 80 points.
The result of the weighted summation has a mapping relation with the page turning speed, different scores correspond to different page turning speeds, and the corresponding mapping relation can be searched based on the obtained score to obtain the page turning speed of the electronic book, for example, when the score is 90 to 100, the page turning speed is 10 seconds per page; when the score is between 80 and 90, the page turn speed is 15 seconds per page.
