Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more clearly apparent, the technical solutions of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples.
The application provides a data packet retransmission method, which is applied to a carrier aggregation scene, an AM mode is adopted on an RLC layer for data transmission, and carriers with good channel quality are preferentially selected for transmission under the carrier aggregation scene by combining the RLC ARQ retransmission characteristic and the carrier channel quality. The scheme can improve the retransmission success rate and improve the service transmission efficiency of the system.
In the embodiment of the application, the sending end comprises an RLC entity and an MAC entity, the RLC entity is located on an RLC layer, the MAC entity is used for realizing the function of the MAC layer, and the RLC entity and the MAC entity interact with each other to process related information.
Two messages related to data packet retransmission are provided, one is a downlink cache query message of an MAC layer; the other is a MAC layer scheduling result message;
the contents of the two messages sent to the RLC entity by the MAC entity are realized in the same way as the existing implementation; the following gives the relevant processing flow for these two messages, respectively.
Aiming at the downlink cache query message of the MAC layer:
referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram illustrating a processing flow of a MAC layer downlink cache query message in an embodiment of the present application. The method comprises the following specific steps:
step 101, the sending end RLC layer receives a downlink cache query message sent by the MAC layer.
Step 102, the sending end RLC layer determines whether the carrier wave sending error rate corresponding to the query message is smaller than a first preset threshold value, if so, step 103 is executed; otherwise, step 104 is performed.
In the prior art, the query message carries the transmission error rate of the carrier corresponding to the corresponding MAC, but the prior art does not consider the transmission error rate of the carrier, and the information notifying the MAC layer is determined by considering the transmission error rate of the carrier.
The first preset threshold is configured according to actual needs, for example, may be configured as 0.4.
Step 103, the sending end RLC layer notifies the MAC layer that there is a retransmission data packet in the current data cache.
And step 104, the sending end RLC layer informs the MAC layer that no retransmission data packet exists in the current data cache.
If the carrier transmission error rate is smaller than the first preset threshold value, it indicates that the channel quality of the corresponding carrier is good, and at this time, the MAC layer is notified that a retransmitted data packet exists in the currently cached data of the RLC layer, whether newly transmitted data exists is determined according to an actual situation, that is, according to the actual situation, after the MAC layer receives the notification, normal scheduling can be performed.
If the carrier transmission error rate is not less than a first preset threshold value, the channel quality of the corresponding carrier is poor, at the moment, the RLC layer informs the MAC layer that no retransmission data packet exists in the currently cached data, whether newly transmitted data exist is determined according to the actual situation, namely, the newly transmitted data are informed according to the actual situation; thus, when the MAC schedules, the MAC considers that no retransmission data packet exists in the data cache of the MAC, and does not schedule the retransmission data packet.
The above process can reduce the chance that the retransmitted data packet is scheduled on a carrier with poor channel quality.
For the MAC layer scheduling result message:
referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating a flow of processing a scheduling result message of a MAC layer in the embodiment of the present application. The method comprises the following specific steps:
in step 201, the sending end RLC layer receives the MAC layer scheduling result message.
Step 202, the sending end RLC layer determines whether there is a retransmission data packet, if yes, step 203 is executed; otherwise, step 205 is performed.
Step 203, the sending end RLC layer determines whether the transmission error rate of the scheduling carrier in the scheduling result message is smaller than a first preset threshold, if so, step 204 is executed; otherwise, step 205 is performed.
When receiving the scheduling result message of the MAC layer, the transmitting end prepares to transmit data, and when there is retransmission data, it needs to determine whether to transmit a retransmission data packet or retransmit data other than the data packet according to the transmission error rate of the scheduling carrier.
Step 204, the sending end RLC layer sends the retransmission data packet on the scheduling carrier corresponding to the scheduling result message, and ends the process.
If the carrier transmission error rate is smaller than the first preset threshold value, the channel quality of the corresponding carrier is relatively good, and at the moment, the retransmission data packet is transmitted on the carrier corresponding to the scheduling result message.
In step 205, the sending end RLC layer sends data except for the retransmitted data packet that needs to be transmitted on the carrier corresponding to the scheduling message.
If the carrier transmission error rate is not less than the first preset threshold value, which indicates that the channel quality of the corresponding carrier is poor, the RLC layer does not transmit the retransmission data packet for the carrier corresponding to the scheduling message this time.
In the embodiment of the application, when the data packet is retransmitted, a technical scheme considering the scheduling size of the MAC layer is provided, namely, the retransmission segmentation size is controlled to reduce the retransmission segmentation times of the data packet, so that the complexity of retransmission processing is reduced, the retransmission success rate is improved, and the service transmission efficiency of the system is improved.
The following describes in detail a data packet retransmission process in an embodiment of the present application with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a data packet retransmission process in the embodiment of the present application. The method comprises the following specific steps:
step 301, the sending end RLC layer receives the MAC layer scheduling result message.
Step 302, the sending end RLC layer determines whether there is retransmission data packet, if yes, step 303 is executed; otherwise, step 307 is executed.
Step 303, the sending end RLC layer determines whether the sending error rate of the scheduling carrier in the scheduling result message is less than a first preset threshold, if so, step 304 is executed; otherwise, step 307 is executed.
Step 304, the sending end RLC layer determines whether the MAC scheduling size in the scheduling message is greater than a second preset threshold, if so, step 306 is executed; otherwise, step 305 is performed.
The second preset threshold set here is configured according to the segmentable ratio of the size of the retransmission data PDU, and may be configured as 1/8.
Step 305, the sending end RLC layer adds 1 to the current value of the limiting threshold times, and determines whether the value of the limiting threshold times after adding 1 is greater than a third preset threshold value; if yes, go to step 306; otherwise, step 307 is executed.
If step 304, it is determined that the MAC scheduling size is not greater than the second preset threshold, which indicates that the MAC scheduling size is too small, it is determined whether to limit the transmission of the retransmission data according to the number of times of the limit threshold, so as to reduce the number of times of segmentation.
An initial value, such as 0, may be configured for the parameter limiting the threshold number of times; for the third preset threshold, the number of times of retransmission packet transmission may be limited according to the need, for example, it may be configured as 3.
When it is determined that the value of the number of times of the limitation threshold added with 1 is greater than a third preset threshold value, initializing the value of the number of times of the limitation threshold to control the transmission of subsequent retransmission data packets; in the implementation, the retransmission packet may be sent without initialization, i.e., the retransmission packet may be sent in the period.
If the value for limiting the threshold times is initialized, the value can be initialized when the value is larger than a third preset threshold value, or the value can be initialized again after the current MAC scheduling result message is processed.
Step 306, the sending end RLC layer sends the retransmission data packet on the carrier corresponding to the scheduling message, and ends the process.
Step 307, the sending end RLC layer sends data except for the retransmission data packet to be transmitted on the carrier corresponding to the scheduling message.
The implementation of this step is that the sending end RLC layer does not send the retransmitted data packet for the scheduling result message.
Based on the same inventive concept, the application also provides a data packet retransmission device, which is applied to a carrier aggregation scene and adopts an AM mode to transmit data in an RLC layer.
