Description

Communication method and device of wireless local area network, station equipment and access point equipment
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communication network technologies, and in particular, to a communication method of a wireless local area network, a communication apparatus of a wireless local area network, a station device, and an access point device.
Background
In 2016, the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) 802.11 established the next-generation wur (wake up receiver) group of Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) technologies, namely the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) 802.11ba, which is mainly applied to the internet of things and aims to save the power consumption of the devices as much as possible.
A wake-up message (wake-up) frame is defined in the IEEE 802.11ba standard, and the main purpose of the wake-up message frame is to wake up a primary communication interface of a communication device, that is, the communication device receives the wake-up frame through a secondary communication interface, and the power consumption required by the wake-up message frame is not more than 1mw, which is much less than the power consumption required by directly waking up the primary communication interface of the communication device, and is beneficial to saving the power consumption of the communication device.
Based on the IEEE 802.11ba standard, when a station device is in an electrical Mode (PSM for short), a primary communication interface of the station device supports a sleep Mode, and once a secondary communication interface of the station device receives a wake-up message frame, the primary communication interface is immediately woken up, and the like, to receive downlink buffer data.
In order to further reduce the power consumption of the communication device (including the station device and the access point device), the secondary communication interface of the communication device may be configured to support the periodic sleep mode, but how to define the downlink frame to instruct the station device to enter the power saving mode, and particularly how to instruct the secondary communication interface to enter the periodic sleep mode, is not explicitly specified.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to solving at least one of the problems of the prior art or the related art.
To this end, an object of the present invention is to provide a communication method of a wireless local area network.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a communication apparatus for a wireless local area network.
It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a station apparatus.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide an access point device.
In order to achieve the above object, a technical solution of a first aspect of the present invention provides a communication method for a wireless local area network, including: and receiving a buffered downlink data frame, wherein the buffered downlink data frame comprises a first indication bit and a second indication bit, and when the first indication bit is a first value, the value of the second indication bit is used for indicating whether the station equipment enters a power saving mode or waits to enter the power saving mode.
In the technical scheme, a first indication bit and a second indication bit are defined in a buffered downlink data frame to indicate a station device to enter a power saving mode or wait to enter the power saving mode, so that occurrence of data collision is reduced, wherein when the first indication bit is a first value, the station device determines to buffer the downlink data frame for the last frame, and continues to determine whether to directly enter the power saving mode or wait to enter the power saving mode according to the second indication bit.
When the station equipment is in the power saving mode, the communication states of the primary communication interface and the secondary communication interface are as follows:
(1) the primary communication interface is in a doze state;
(2) if the secondary communication interface supports the periodic sleep mode, the secondary communication interface enters a doze (periodic sleep) state, that is, after the secondary communication interface enters the periodic sleep state, the access point device does not send wireless communication message frames (such as wakeup message frames, management message frames, control message frames and data frames) to the station device any more, and after the secondary communication interface finishes the periodic sleep state, the access point device can receive wake up frames and wake up the primary communication interface when determining that the buffered downlink data frames need to be received according to the indication information carried by the wake up;
(3) and if the secondary communication interface does not support the periodic sleep mode, the secondary communication interface enters an awake state, namely the secondary communication interface can always receive the wake up frame in the awake state, and awakens the main communication interface when the fact that the cached downlink data frame needs to be received is determined according to the indication information carried by the wake up.
Wherein the power consumed for receiving wake up frames is about 1mW, which is much lower than receiving management message frames, control message frames and data frames.
In the foregoing technical solution, preferably, when the first indication bit is a first value, the value of the second indication bit is used to indicate whether the station device enters a power saving mode or waits to enter the power saving mode, and specifically includes: when the first indication bit and the second indication bit are first values, determining that the buffered downlink data frame is a last frame buffered downlink data frame; after determining that the last frame buffers the downlink data frame, generating and sending a first confirmation message frame to the access point equipment; and receiving a downlink control message frame sent by the access point equipment in response to the first confirmation message frame, and entering a power-saving mode.
In the technical scheme, by setting the first indication bit and the second indication bit to be the first values, the station device is instructed to enter the power saving mode after feeding back the first acknowledgement message frame (ACK frame or Block ACK frame), for example, the first indication bit and the second indication bit respectively adopt a power management field and more data fields of a frame body control field, and when the first value is set to "0", the station device is instructed to have zero buffered downlink data to be sent, and the station device can directly enter the power saving mode.
The power saving mode refers to that a main communication interface of the station equipment enters a sleep state, and a secondary communication interface of the station enters a WUR state, namely, the station equipment is in a WUR wakeup state or a WUR periodic wakeup state.
Wherein the generated first acknowledgement message frame has the following functions:
firstly, confirming whether all downlink data frames buffered in access point equipment are completely received or not;
secondly, the station device is about to enter the WUR state and negotiate with the Access Point device, where the first acknowledgement message frame is equivalent to a request message frame for entering the WUR state, and certainly, the Access Point device (AP) is still required to acknowledge the first acknowledgement message frame, so as to acknowledge that the station device can enter the WUR state.
It is worth mentioning that the first acknowledgement message frame differs from the existing acknowledgement message frame in that the value in the duration field of the existing acknowledgement message frame is set to 0, whereas the value in the duration field in the first acknowledgement message frame must not be set to 0, in order to protect the communication between the subsequent station device and the access point device, so that the station device can smoothly enter the WUR state, and at the same time identify it as requesting to enter the WUR state.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the communication method of the wireless local area network further includes: setting both a power management field and a more data field of a frame body of a first acknowledgement message frame to a first value; and setting the time length corresponding to the time length field of the frame body of the first confirmation message frame as the sum of the time length of the first confirmation message frame, the time length of the downlink control message frame and the preset inter-frame gap time length.
In the technical scheme, a first indication bit and a second indication bit respectively adopt a power management field and more data fields of a frame body control domain, when a first value is set to be '0', the buffered downlink data to be sent is indicated to be zero, and the station equipment can directly enter a power saving mode, in addition, the time length corresponding to a time length field of a frame body of a first acknowledgment message frame is set to be the sum of the time length of the first acknowledgment message frame, the time length of a downlink control message frame and the preset inter-frame gap time length, and the expression is as follows:
Duration=T ack1 +SIFS+T 1
wherein the Duration identifies a time length field, T ack1 Identifying the duration of the first acknowledgment message frame, SIFS (short Interframe space) identifying a preset interframe space duration, T 1 The duration of the downlink control message frame is identified, and the downlink control frame can also adopt a confirmation message frame.
In addition, the power management field and the more data field in the downlink control message frame are both set to "0", and the time length field (Duration) is also set to "0".
In any one of the foregoing technical solutions, preferably, when the first indication bit is a first value, the value of the second indication bit is used to indicate whether the station device enters a power saving mode or waits to enter the power saving mode, and specifically, the method further includes: and waiting to enter the power saving mode when the first indication bit is a first value and the second indication bit is a second value.
In the technical scheme, when the first indicator bit is the first value and the second indicator bit is the second value, the power saving mode is not directly entered, but the power saving mode is waited to be entered, that is, the power saving mode still needs to be negotiated by the interactive data frame, so as to further reduce the occurrence of data collision and improve the spectrum utilization rate.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the communication method of the wireless local area network further includes: after waiting to enter the power saving mode, generating and sending a second confirmation message frame to the access point equipment; receiving a wake-up request message frame sent by the access point device in response to the second confirmation message frame; and responding to the awakening request message frame to send a corresponding awakening response message frame to the access point equipment, and entering a power saving mode.
In the technical scheme, when the station equipment and the access point equipment negotiate to enter a power saving mode, a wake-up request message frame needs to be sent to the access point equipment firstly, and the access point equipment enters the power saving mode after receiving a wake-up corresponding message.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the communication method of the wireless local area network further includes: setting a power management field of a frame body of a second acknowledgement message frame to a first value; setting a more data field of a frame body of a second acknowledgement message frame to a second value; and setting the time length corresponding to the time length field of the frame body of the second confirmation message frame as the sum of the time length of the second confirmation message frame, the time length of the wakeup request message frame, the time length of the wakeup response message frame and the time length of two preset interframe gaps.
In the technical scheme, the power management field is set to be a first value, the first value is set to be "0" and is used for indicating that the station device can enter a power saving mode, however, the more data field is set to be a second value, the second value is set to be "1", it is identified that there is still buffered downlink data to be sent to the station device, the buffered downlink data frame to be sent is a wakeup response request frame, the station device enters the power saving mode after receiving the wakeup response request frame, and an expression of the time length field is as follows:
Duration=T ack2 +2×SIFS+T 2 +T 3
wherein the Duration identifies a time length field, T ack2 Identifying the duration of the second acknowledgment message frame, SIFS (short Interframe space) identifying a preset interframe space duration, T 2 Identifying duration, T, of request message frame to enter WUR state 3 The duration of the response into the WUR status message frame is identified.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the communication method of the wireless local area network further includes: the power management field, the more data field, and the time length field of the body of the wake-up response message frame are all set to a first value.
In this technical solution, the power management field and the more data field in the wake-up response message frame are both set to "0", and the time length field (Duration) is also set to "0".
In the technical solution of the second aspect of the present invention, a communication method of a wireless local area network is further provided, including: generating a last frame buffer downlink data frame, wherein the last frame buffer downlink data frame comprises a first indication bit and a second indication bit; and sending the last frame of downlink data frame to the site equipment to indicate the site equipment to enter a power saving mode or wait to enter the power saving mode according to the first indication bit and the second indication bit.
In the technical scheme, a last frame of buffered downlink data frame is generated, and the last frame of buffered downlink data frame comprises a first indication bit and a second indication bit to indicate the station equipment to enter a power saving mode or wait to enter the power saving mode, so that the occurrence of data collision is reduced.
When the station equipment is in the power saving mode, the communication states of the primary communication interface and the secondary communication interface are as follows:
(1) the primary communication interface is in a doze state;
(2) if the secondary communication interface supports the periodic sleep mode, the secondary communication interface enters a doze (periodic sleep) state, that is, after the secondary communication interface enters the periodic sleep state, the access point device does not send wireless communication message frames (such as wakeup message frames, management message frames, control message frames and data frames) to the station device any more, and after the secondary communication interface finishes the periodic sleep state, the access point device can receive wake up frames and wake up the primary communication interface when determining that the buffered downlink data frames need to be received according to the indication information carried by the wake up;
(3) and if the secondary communication interface does not support the periodic sleep mode, the secondary communication interface enters an awake state, namely the secondary communication interface can always receive the wake up frame in the awake state, and awakens the main communication interface when the fact that the cached downlink data frame needs to be received is determined according to the indication information carried by the wake up.
Wherein the power consumed for receiving wake up frames is about 1mW, which is much lower than receiving management message frames, control message frames and data frames.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the communication method of the wireless local area network further includes: setting the first indication bit and the second indication bit as first values, and receiving a first acknowledgement message frame sent by the site equipment in response to the last downlink data frame; and responding to the first confirmation message frame to send a downlink control message frame to instruct the station equipment to enter a power saving mode.
The power saving mode refers to that a main communication interface of the station equipment enters a sleep state, and a secondary communication interface of the station enters a WUR state, that is, the station equipment is in a WUR awake state or a WUR periodic awake state.
Wherein the generated first acknowledgement message frame has the following functions:
firstly, confirming whether all downlink data frames buffered in access point equipment are completely received or not;
secondly, the station device is about to enter the WUR state and negotiate with the Access Point device, where the first acknowledgement message frame is equivalent to a request message frame for entering the WUR state, and certainly, the Access Point device (AP) is still required to acknowledge the first acknowledgement message frame, so as to acknowledge that the station device can enter the WUR state.
It is worth mentioning in particular that the first acknowledgement message frame differs from the existing acknowledgement message frame in that the value in the duration field of the existing acknowledgement message frame is set to 0, whereas the value in the duration field in the first acknowledgement message frame must not be set to 0, in order to protect the communication between the subsequent station device and the access point device, so that the station device can smoothly enter the WUR state, while also identifying it as requesting to enter the WUR state.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the communication method of the wireless local area network further includes: the power management field, the more data field, and the time length field of the body of the downlink control message frame are all set to a first value.
In the technical solution, a power management field and a more data field in a downlink control message frame are both set to "0", and a time length field (Duration) is also set to "0" to instruct the station device to enter a power saving mode immediately after receiving the downlink control message frame.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the communication method of the wireless local area network further includes: setting the first indication bit to a first value and the second indication bit to a second value to indicate the station equipment to wait for entering a power saving mode; receiving a second confirmation message frame sent by the station equipment in response to the last downlink data frame; and sending a wake-up request message frame in response to the second confirmation message frame to instruct the station equipment to enter a power saving mode.
In the technical scheme, when the first indicator bit is a first value and the second indicator bit is a second value, the station equipment is indicated not to directly enter the power saving mode, but waits to enter the power saving mode, that is, the power saving mode is negotiated by data frames still needing interaction, so that occurrence of data collision is further reduced, and spectrum utilization rate is improved.
When the station equipment and the access point equipment negotiate to enter a power saving mode, a wake-up request message frame needs to be sent to the access point equipment firstly, and the station equipment enters the power saving mode after receiving a wake-up corresponding message.
The second acknowledgement message frame may be an ACK frame or a Block ACK frame.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the communication method of the wireless local area network further includes: the power management field, the more data field, and the time length field of the body of the wake-up request message frame are all set to a first value.

Fig. 1 shows a schematic flow diagram of a communication method of a wireless local area network according to one embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, a communication method of a wireless local area network according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: step S02, receiving a buffered downlink data frame, where the buffered downlink data frame includes a first indicator bit and a second indicator bit, and when the first indicator bit is a first value, a value of the second indicator bit is used to indicate whether the station device enters the power saving mode or waits to enter the power saving mode.
In the technical scheme, the station equipment is instructed to enter the power saving mode or wait to enter the power saving mode by defining the first indication bit and the second indication bit in the buffered downlink data frame, so that the occurrence of data collision is reduced, wherein when the first indication bit is a first value, the station equipment determines that the downlink data frame is buffered for the last frame, and continues to determine whether to directly enter the power saving mode or wait to enter the power saving mode according to the second indication bit.
When the station equipment is in the power saving mode, the communication states of the primary communication interface and the secondary communication interface are as follows:
(1) the primary communication interface is in a doze state;
(2) if the secondary communication interface supports the periodic sleep mode, the secondary communication interface enters a doze (periodic sleep) state, that is, after the secondary communication interface enters the periodic sleep state, the access point device does not send wireless communication message frames (such as wakeup message frames, management message frames, control message frames and data frames) to the station device any more, and after the secondary communication interface finishes the periodic sleep state, the access point device can receive wake up frames and wake up the primary communication interface when determining that the buffered downlink data frames need to be received according to the indication information carried by the wake up;
(3) and if the secondary communication interface does not support the periodic sleep mode, the secondary communication interface enters an awake state, namely the secondary communication interface can always receive the wake up frame in the awake state, and awakens the main communication interface when the fact that the cached downlink data frame needs to be received is determined according to the indication information carried by the wake up.
Wherein the power consumed for receiving wake up frames is about 1mW, which is much lower than receiving management message frames, control message frames and data frames.

(1) the primary communication interface is in a doze state;
(2) if the secondary communication interface supports the periodic sleep mode, the secondary communication interface enters a doze (periodic sleep) state, that is, after the secondary communication interface enters the periodic sleep state, the access point device does not send wireless communication message frames (such as wakeup message frames, management message frames, control message frames and data frames) to the station device any more, and after the secondary communication interface finishes the periodic sleep state, the access point device can receive wake up frames and wake up the primary communication interface when determining that the buffered downlink data frames need to be received according to the indication information carried by the wake up;
(3) and if the secondary communication interface does not support the periodic sleep mode, the secondary communication interface enters an awake state, namely the secondary communication interface can always receive the wake up frame in the awake state, and awakens the main communication interface when the fact that the cached downlink data frame needs to be received is determined according to the indication information carried by the wake up.
Wherein the power consumed for receiving the wake up frame is about 1mW, which is much lower than that for receiving the management message frame, the control message frame and the data frame.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the communication apparatus of the wireless local area network further includes: a setting unit 406, configured to set both the first indication bit and the second indication bit to a first value, and receive a first acknowledgement message frame sent by the station device in response to the last downlink data frame; the communication unit 404 is further configured to: and responding to the first confirmation message frame to send a downlink control message frame to instruct the station equipment to enter a power saving mode.
The power saving mode refers to that a main communication interface of the station equipment enters a sleep state, and a secondary communication interface of the station enters a WUR state, that is, the station equipment is in a WUR awake state or a WUR periodic awake state.
Wherein the generated first acknowledgement message frame has the following functions:
firstly, confirming whether all downlink data frames buffered in access point equipment are completely received or not;
secondly, the station device is about to enter the WUR state and negotiate with the Access Point device, where the first acknowledgement message frame is equivalent to a request message frame for entering the WUR state, and certainly, the Access Point device (AP) is still required to acknowledge the first acknowledgement message frame, so as to acknowledge that the station device can enter the WUR state.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the setting unit 406 is further configured to: the power management field, the more data field, and the time length field of the body of the downlink control message frame are all set to a first value.
In the technical scheme, a power management field and more data fields in a downlink control message frame are both set to "0", and a time length field (Duration) is also set to "0" to indicate that the station device enters a power saving mode immediately after receiving the downlink control message frame.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the setting unit 406 is further configured to: setting the first indication bit to be a first value and the second indication bit to be a second value so as to indicate the station equipment to wait to enter a power saving mode; the communication unit 404 is further configured to: receiving a second confirmation message frame sent by the station equipment in response to the last downlink data frame; the communication unit 404 is further configured to: and sending a wake-up request message frame in response to the second confirmation message frame to instruct the station equipment to enter a power saving mode.
In any one of the above technical solutions, preferably, the setting unit 406 is further configured to: the power management field, the more data field, and the time length field of the body of the wake-up request message frame are all set to a first value.
In this technical solution, the power management field and the more data field in the wake-up request message frame are both set to "0", and the time length field (Duration) is also set to "0".
In any of the above technical solutions, preferably, the first indication bit is a power management field of a frame body of the buffered downlink data frame, and the second indication bit is a more data field of the frame body of the buffered downlink data frame.
