Abstract
The invention discloses a waterproof key, which comprises a key body, a waterproof transmission cover, waterproof glue and a shell. The waterproof transmission cover is connected with the key body and comprises a force application part and a flange part surrounding the force application part. The shell is provided with a shell body and a U-shaped annular bearing seat, the flange part is jointed in the U-shaped annular bearing seat of the shell, and the waterproof glue is jointed with the flange part and the U-shaped annular bearing seat of the shell along the key force application direction so as to increase the waterproof performance of the electronic product.

Technical Field
The present invention relates to a key, and more particularly, to a waterproof key.
Background
In recent years, due to rapid development of electronic and information industries, related products are increasingly sophisticated. In view of the present personal computer field, in addition to seeking the cooperation of a computing unit with higher speed and computing capability and various peripheral devices to satisfy the user's requirements, a light and thin portable electronic device is also a key field of the industry development.
The portable electronic devices, such as tablet computers or mobile phones, have light and thin features, and are widely used in personal or commercial markets.
In general, portable electronic devices have advanced functions, such as computing performance and display capability, in addition to other auxiliary functions. For example, in order to increase the waterproof capability of the portable electronic device, manufacturers do not go to great lengths to increase the waterproof function of the portable electronic device. How to provide a key with strong waterproof capability and high reliability will be more helpful to the improvement of waterproof capability of the portable electronic device.
Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, the present invention discloses a waterproof button, which can further increase the adhesion of the button when a user presses the button, so as to enhance the waterproof capability of the button and a product using the button.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a waterproof key includes a key body, a waterproof transmission cover and a housing. The waterproof transmission cover is connected with the key body. The waterproof transmission cover comprises a force application part and a flange part surrounding the force application part. The housing has a housing body and a U-shaped annular seat, wherein the flange portion is engaged in the U-shaped annular seat of the housing.
The waterproof button further comprises waterproof glue for connecting the flange part and the U-shaped annular bearing seat of the shell. When the key body is pressed, the flange part presses the waterproof glue, so that the waterproof glue is more tightly attached to the U-shaped annular bearing seat of the shell.
In one embodiment, the waterproof transmission cover further includes an extension portion located between the force application portion and the flange portion.
In one embodiment, the waterproof drive housing is formed from a rubber material.
In one embodiment, the waterproof button further includes a circuit board and a switch disposed on the circuit board.
In one embodiment, the switch is an actuation switch.
In one embodiment, the switch is a microswitch.
In an embodiment, the housing is a tablet computer housing or a mobile phone housing.
In summary, the waterproof button of the present invention can further increase the waterproof capability of the waterproof button and improve the waterproof performance of the electronic product by using the design of the flange portion, the waterproof glue and the U-shaped annular bearing seat when the user presses the button body.

Referring to fig. 1, a schematic diagram of a waterproof button according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed. As shown in the drawings, the present invention discloses a waterproof button 100, which includes a button body 110, a waterproof transmission cover 120 and a housing 130.
The waterproof transmission cover 120 is connected to the key body 110 to receive the pressure from the key body 110 and deform to trigger the switch 150 on the circuit board 160 below to generate the change of voltage or current.
The waterproof transmission cover 120 includes an urging portion 122, an extending portion 124, and a flange portion 126. The extension portion 124 is located between the force application portion 122 and the flange portion 126 to further provide the necessary deformation of the waterproof gear cover 120 so that the force application portion 122 can press the switch 150 below. The flange portion 126 surrounds the force application portion 122 and the extension portion 124, and may be a circular, square, oblong, polygonal, or irregular flange, without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
The housing 130, for example a housing of a tablet computer or a housing of a mobile phone, has a housing body 132 and a U-shaped annular seat 134, wherein the flange portion 126 of the waterproof transmission cover 120 is engaged in the U-shaped annular seat 134 of the housing 130.
In one embodiment, the waterproof button 100 also utilizes a waterproof glue 140 to engage the flange portion 126 of the waterproof drive cap 120 with the U-shaped annular seat 134 of the housing 130. When the user presses the key body 110, the flange 126 presses the waterproof glue 140 at the same time, so that the waterproof glue 140 is tightly adhered to the U-shaped annular seat 134 of the housing 130. That is, the flange portion 126, the waterproof glue 140 and the U-shaped annular seat 134 are disposed in the same direction as the key application direction 200, so that when the user presses the key body 110, the flange portion 126, the waterproof glue 140 and the U-shaped annular seat 134 are pressed together more tightly, thereby effectively preventing moisture from entering the inside of the housing 130 through the gap between the flange portion 126 and the U-shaped annular seat 134.
Therefore, the waterproof button 100 disclosed in the present invention not only has the flange portion 126 and the U-shaped annular seat 134 to prevent moisture from entering the inside of the housing 130 of the electronic product and prevent the electronic product from being affected with moisture, but also utilizes the design of the flange portion 126 and the U-shaped annular seat 134 to dispose the waterproof glue 140 in the U-shaped annular seat 134, and the U-shaped annular seat 134 accommodates the flange portion 126 and supports the flange portion 126. Therefore, when the user presses the key body 110, the flange portion 126 also applies a force to the waterproof glue 140 and the U-shaped annular seat 134, so that the flange portion 126, the waterproof glue 140 and the U-shaped annular seat 134 are pressed together more tightly, and further, moisture is prevented from entering the inside of the housing 130 through the gap between the flange portion 126 and the U-shaped annular seat 134.
In one embodiment, the waterproof drive housing 120 is formed from a rubber material.
In one embodiment, switch 150 comprises an actuation switch.
In one embodiment, switch 150 comprises a microswitch.
Therefore, the waterproof key of the invention can further increase the waterproof capability of the waterproof key and effectively improve the waterproof performance of the electronic product by utilizing the design of the flange part, the waterproof glue and the U-shaped annular bearing seat when a user presses the key body.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the above embodiments, it should be understood that various changes and modifications can be made therein by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
Claims (8)
1. A waterproof key, comprising:
a key body;
the waterproof transmission cover is connected with the key body and comprises a force application part and a flange part which surrounds the force application part;
a housing having a housing body and a U-shaped annular seat, wherein the flange portion of the waterproof drive cap is engaged into the U-shaped annular seat of the housing; and
and a waterproof adhesive for joining the flange portion and the U-shaped annular seat of the housing, wherein when the key body is pressed, the flange portion presses the waterproof adhesive so that the waterproof adhesive is more closely attached to the U-shaped annular seat of the housing.
2. The waterproof key of claim 1 wherein said waterproof drive boot further comprises an extension portion between said force application portion and said flange portion.
3. The waterproof key of claim 2 wherein said waterproof gear cover is formed of a rubber material.
4. The waterproof key of claim 1, further comprising a circuit board, and a switch located on said circuit board.
5. The waterproof key of claim 4, wherein said switch comprises an activation switch.
6. The waterproof button of claim 4, wherein said switch comprises a microswitch.
7. The waterproof key of claim 1, wherein said housing is a tablet computer housing.
8. The waterproof key of claim 1 wherein said housing is a mobile phone housing.
