Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention.
In the prior art, usually, a detector watches a video image acquired by a transmitting end and a video image displayed by a receiving end, and compares the watched video images to determine the video communication quality. The video communication quality is determined only according to the result of the naked eye observation of the detection personnel, and the detection result is often personally subjective and cannot effectively reflect the current video communication quality.
In view of the above, the present invention provides a video communication quality detection method, which can be applied to an electronic device. Referring to fig. 1, in a scene diagram of video communication quality detection provided by an embodiment of the present invention, an electronic device may be a device located in a video quality measurement center in fig. 1, and is configured to detect video communication quality, and the electronic device may communicate with a video sending end (hereinafter referred to as a sending end) and a video receiving end (hereinafter referred to as a receiving end) to obtain data recorded by the sending end and the receiving end in a video communication process.
The sending end can collect a plurality of video frames (namely image frames), and the plurality of video frames form a video image to be sent. Then, the transmitting end may encode each video frame and transmit the encoded video data to the receiving end through the network.
Correspondingly, after receiving the encoded video data, the receiving end decodes the video data to obtain video frames (i.e., image frames), and displays each video frame.
Based on the method of this embodiment, for a certain video frame (i.e., a target video frame) in a video image displayed by a receiving end, the electronic device may obtain a system time (i.e., a display time) in the receiving end when the receiving end displays the target video frame, and use the system time as a first system time. Then, the electronic device may obtain system time (i.e., acquisition time) in the sending end when the sending end acquires the video frame corresponding to the target video frame, and use the system time as second system time. The electronic device may determine the time delay of the target video frame according to the system time difference between the transmitting end and the receiving end, the first system time, and the second system time, and determine the video communication quality between the transmitting end and the receiving end according to the communication quality detection parameter including the time delay of the target video frame.
The electronic device can accurately determine the time delay of the target video frame according to the system time difference between the sending end and the receiving end, namely NTP Delta (Network time protocol Delta), the first system time and the second system time so as to detect the video communication quality, but not only according to the result of the naked eye watching of a detector, so that the video communication quality is determined, and the effectiveness of the video communication quality detection result can be improved.
In addition, the electronic device may further obtain a serial number added by the sending end for the acquired video frame and a serial number in the video frame displayed by the receiving end, so as to perform other processing, which will be specifically described in detail in the following embodiments.
The present invention will be described in detail with reference to specific examples.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart of a video communication quality detection method according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method may include the following steps:
s201: aiming at a target video frame in a video image displayed by a receiving end, the system time in the receiving end when the receiving end displays the target video frame is obtained, and the system time in the receiving end is used as first system time.
The receiving end can be an electronic device such as a mobile phone and a computer. The target video frame may be any video frame in the video image displayed by the receiving end.
In implementation, the receiving end may receive the encoded video data and decode the video data to obtain a video frame, and then the receiving end may display the video frame. When displaying the video frame, the receiving end can record the current system time and store the current system time locally.
Accordingly, the electronic device can obtain the system time (i.e., the first system time) when the target video frame is displayed by the receiving end from the receiving end.
S202: and acquiring the system time in the sending end when the sending end acquires the video frame corresponding to the target video frame, and taking the system time in the sending end as the second system time.
The sending end can be an electronic device such as a mobile phone and a computer.
In implementation, the sending end may collect a plurality of video frames, decode each video frame to obtain encoded video data, and then send the encoded video data to the receiving end. When each video frame is collected, the sending end can record the current system time and store the current system time locally.
Accordingly, the electronic device may obtain the system time (i.e., the second system time) when the video frame corresponding to the target video frame is acquired from the sending end. When the sending end collects each video frame, an identifier can be added to the video frame, and it can be known that the identifier carried by the video frame corresponding to the target video frame is the same as the identifier carried by the target video frame.
S203: and determining the time delay of the target video frame according to the system time difference between the sending end and the receiving end, the first system time and the second system time.
Since the receiving end and the transmitting end are two different electronic devices, the system time in the receiving end and the transmitting end may not be consistent. For example, if the system time at the receiving end is 7 o 'clock 30 min 20 sec at the same time, and the system time at the transmitting end may be 7 o' clock 30 min 22 sec, the system time difference between the transmitting end and the receiving end is 2 sec.
The first system time is the system time in the receiving end, the second system time is the system time in the sending end, and if the time delay of the video frame is determined directly according to the first system time and the second system time, the accuracy of the video communication quality detection result is reduced. Therefore, in order to improve the accuracy of the video communication quality detection result, the electronic device may further remove the system time difference between the sending end and the receiving end when calculating the time delay of the video frame.
The electronic device may determine a system time difference between the sending end and the receiving end in the video communication process, and specifically, a method for determining the system time difference by the electronic device will be described in detail in the following embodiments.
In implementation, the electronic device may obtain a first system time and a second system time corresponding to the target video frame, and calculate a time delay of the target video frame according to a system time difference between the sending end and the receiving end.
For example, the first system time corresponding to the target video frame is T1, the second system time corresponding to the target video frame is T2, and the system time difference between the transmitting end and the receiving end is Ts, the electronic device may determine that the delay of the target video frame is (T1-T2) -Ts.
S204: and determining the video communication quality between the sending end and the receiving end according to the communication quality detection parameters.
The communication quality detection parameter may include a time delay of the target video frame.
In implementation, the electronic device may determine the video communication quality between the sending end and the receiving end according to the communication quality detection parameter including the time delay of the target video frame.
For example, the electronic device may determine that the video communication quality between the sending end and the receiving end is poor when the delay of the target video frame is greater than a first preset delay threshold. The first predetermined delay threshold may be set empirically by a technician.
Alternatively, the electronic device may obtain the time delay of a plurality of video frames including the target video frame to determine the video communication quality between the transmitting end and the receiving end. For example, the electronic device may determine that the quality of video communication between the sending end and the receiving end is poor when the sum of the time delays of the plurality of video frames is greater than the second preset time delay threshold, or the electronic device may determine that the quality of video communication between the sending end and the receiving end is poor when the average of the time delays of the plurality of video frames is greater than the third preset time delay threshold. The second preset delay threshold and the third preset delay threshold may be set by a technician according to experience.
Optionally, the electronic device may determine the video communication quality between the sending end and the receiving end according to an average value of the time delays of the plurality of video frames. Specifically, S204 may include the following steps:
step one, taking the average value of the time delays of a preset number of video frames in a video image displayed by a receiving end as the whole time delay of the video communication.
The preset number may be set by a technician according to experience, for example, the preset number may be the total number of all video frames in the video image displayed by the receiving end, or the preset number may be one half of the total number of all video frames in the video image displayed by the receiving end.
In implementation, the electronic device may obtain the time delays of a preset number of video frames in a video image displayed by the receiving end, and then, the electronic device may calculate an average value of the time delays of the preset number of video frames (i.e., the overall time delay of the current video communication).
And step two, inquiring in the corresponding relation between the preset video communication quality grade and the whole time delay, and determining the video communication quality grade corresponding to the whole time delay of the video communication.
The video communication quality grade is used for representing different video communication qualities, and the corresponding relation between the preset video communication quality grade and the whole time delay can be locally stored in the electronic equipment.
In implementation, after determining the overall delay of the current video communication, the electronic device may query a preset corresponding relationship between the video communication quality level and the overall delay, and determine a video communication quality level (which may be referred to as a target level) corresponding to the overall delay of the current video communication.
In addition, after the electronic device determines the target level, the electronic device may further display a detection result, where the detection result may include an identifier of the target level and an overall time delay of the video communication.
The corresponding relationship between the preset video communication quality level and the overall delay can be seen in table (1).
Watch (1)
Figure GDA0002459415340000091
Figure GDA0002459415340000101
Where Level1-Level5 represent different video communication quality levels, for example, Level1-Level5 may be "better", "good", "general", "poor", respectively. The present embodiment is described by taking table (1) as an example, and in actual operation, the correspondence between the preset video communication quality level and the overall delay is not limited to this.
Optionally, before calculating the time delay of the target video frame, the electronic device may further calculate a system time difference between the sending end and the receiving end. Accordingly, before S203, the method may further include the steps of:
step one, system time in a sending end is obtained when the sending end sends a first data packet to a receiving end, and the system time in the sending end is used as third system time.
The first data packet is used for detecting the system time difference between the sending end and the receiving end.
In implementation, in the process of sending the collected video frame to the receiving end, the sending end may also send a data packet (i.e., a first data packet) to the receiving end through a communication channel of video communication, and record a system time (i.e., a third system time) in the sending end when sending the first data packet to the receiving end. Accordingly, the electronic device may obtain a third system time.
And step two, acquiring the system time in the receiving end when the receiving end receives the first data packet, and taking the system time in the receiving end as the fourth system time.
In an implementation, the receiving end may receive the first data packet sent by the sending end, and record the system time (i.e., the fourth system time) in the receiving end when the first data packet is received. Accordingly, the electronic device may obtain a fourth system time.
And step three, acquiring the system time in the receiving end when the receiving end sends the second data packet to the sending end, and taking the system time in the receiving end as the fifth system time.
The second data packet is generated according to the first data packet, and the second data packet is used for detecting the system time difference between the sending end and the receiving end.
In an implementation, after receiving the first data packet, the receiving end may generate another data packet (i.e., a second data packet), send the second data packet to the sending end, and record the system time (i.e., a fifth system time) in the receiving end when sending the second data packet to the sending end. Accordingly, the electronic device may obtain a fifth system time.
And step four, acquiring the system time in the sending end when the sending end receives the second data packet, and taking the system time in the sending end as the sixth system time.
In implementation, the sender may receive the second data packet sent by the receiver, and record the system time (i.e., the sixth system time) in the sender when receiving the second data packet. Accordingly, the electronic device may obtain a sixth system time.
And step five, determining the system time difference between the sending end and the receiving end according to the third system time, the fourth system time, the fifth system time and the sixth system time.
In an implementation, the electronic device may determine a system time difference between the transmitting end and the receiving end according to the third system time, the fourth system time, the fifth system time, and the sixth system time.
For example, the electronic device may calculate the round trip delay Tr of transmitting the data packet according to the third system time T3, the fourth system time T4, the fifth system time T5, and the sixth system time T6 (T6-T3) - (T5-T4). Then, the electronic device may calculate a system time difference Ts between the transmitting end and the receiving end as (T4-T3) -Tr/2 as (3T4-3T3+ T6-T5)/2.
In addition, in order to improve the accuracy of the system time difference, the sending end may send a plurality of first data packets to the receiving end, and correspondingly, the receiving end may also send a plurality of second data packets to the sending end, so that the electronic device may obtain a plurality of Ts, and then the electronic device may determine an average value of the plurality of Ts as the system time difference between the sending end and the receiving end in the current video communication process.
Optionally, the electronic device may further detect the video communication quality by combining the frame loss rate of the video communication. Specifically, the communication quality detection parameter may further include a frame loss rate of the current video communication, and before S204, the method may further include the following steps:
step one, a sequence number added by a sending end for each collected video frame is used as a first sequence number.
In an implementation, when each video frame is acquired, the sending end may add a sequence number (i.e., a first sequence number, that is, the sequence number in fig. 1) to the video frame, and the sending end may also store the video frame to which the first sequence number is added locally. Accordingly, the electronic device may obtain the first serial number.
For example, the sending end may add sequence number 1 to the first captured video frame, add sequence number 2 to the second captured video frame, add sequence number 3 to the third captured video frame, and so on until adding sequence number N to the nth captured video frame. Or, the sending end may also add different random values to the acquired video frames respectively. In this embodiment, the manner in which the sending end adds the sequence number to the video frame is not limited.
And step two, taking the serial number in each video frame displayed by the receiving end as a second serial number, and determining the frame loss rate of the video communication according to the first serial number and the second serial number.
In implementation, the electronic device may obtain a sequence number (i.e., a second sequence number) carried in each video frame displayed by the receiving end, and then the electronic device may compare the first sequence number with the second sequence number to determine the number of sequence numbers that exist in the first sequence number and do not exist in the second sequence number, which is used as the number of lost video frames in the video communication process.
For example, the first sequence number includes: 3. 7, 9, 10, 11, 23, 25, 30, the second number comprising: 3. 9, 11, 23, 25, 30. The electronic device may determine that there is a first sequence number and no second sequence number is 7, 10, and may determine that the number of lost video frames is 2.
Then, the electronic device may determine the frame loss rate of the current video communication according to the number of the lost video frames and the number of the first sequence numbers.
For the above example, the first sequence number includes: 3. 7, 9, 10, 11, 23, 25, and 30, that is, the number of the first sequence numbers is 8, and the number of the lost video frames is 2, the electronic device may determine that the frame loss rate of the current video communication is 2/8-25%.
