Description

Method, device and system for opening capability
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, and a system for opening capabilities.
Background
If the internet service application can conveniently acquire and utilize the related capability information in the mobile network, the internet service application is favorable for good interaction between the application and the network, and brings better application experience to users. Meanwhile, an operator can also provide network capacity based on the requirements of service application, optimize network resource allocation and flow management, provide appropriate service for upper-layer services, further create new pipeline value, form a novel business mode of a mobile network, and bring new opportunities to the operator.
The existing main method for opening the capacity is that an operator provides a capacity opening platform, a third party provides capacity requirements through the platform, and the operator opening platform provides the required network capacity to the third party according to the network condition.
1. Capability opening based on PCC (Policy Control and Charging) architecture
PCC is a logical architecture proposed in 3GPP R7 to implement resource admission control functionality. The PCC may provide for implementing policy control based on user information and charging control based on traffic data flows. The PCC architecture mainly includes functional network elements such as PCRF (policy and charging control entity), PCEF (policy and charging enforcement function), AAC (application access control network element), AF (application function), SPR (user attribute storage), and the like. The capacity open architecture based on PCC adds a unified AAC between AF and PCRF, which is used for applying for and adjusting network resources to PCRF according to the QoS (Quality of Service) requirement of application, and executing network resource event notification subscription and cancellation to PCRF according to the application requirement. The scheme can simplify the application opening requirement and improve the network security. The PCC-based capability open architecture is shown in fig. 1.
2. SCEF-based capability opening
The 3GPP SA2 SCEF (Service Capability Exposure Function) scheme is responsible for interacting with third party Service providers by adding a network Capability open layer SCEF in an EPC (evolved packet core) architecture. The network capability opening layer defines how the capability of the 3GPP network is opened to the outside through a network service capability opening architecture, and the main functions include: authentication and authorization, API (Application Programming Interface) identification and image management; access control list management, policy enhancement, charging, issues related to external interconnections and connection points, abstraction, etc. The SCEF-based capability opening architecture is shown in fig. 2.
3. 5G (fifth generation mobile communication technology) network capability opening
Based on the design concept of SCEF, combining the 5G requirements and the characteristics of the network architecture, the 5G network capability open architecture (as shown in fig. 3) adds an open platform with functions similar to SCEF. The 5G Mobile network can further expand the open network capability, and includes network element entities such as BSS (Business support system)/OSS (Operation support system) of an operator, MANO (management and network organization), network slice, network element entity, MEC (Mobile Edge Computing), big data analysis platform, and the like. The combination of BSS/OSS and MANO capability realizes the uniform arrangement management of network slices and opens the capability of an open platform. The network element entity realizes the opening of specific network control capability, monitoring capability, network information and network basic service capability. The big data analysis platform realizes big data analysis on the network basic data and reports the analysis result to the open platform for opening the open platform. If the MEC is deployed on the wireless side, the service awareness, the cache and the third-party function deployment of the wireless side can be realized, so that the capability of the wireless side is opened to a third-party service provider.
The existing capacity open schemes are all that the operator side provides a capacity open platform, the third party realizes the acquisition of network capacity through the interaction with the platform, and the following defects exist in the aspect of meeting the requirements of the third party:
the related parameters with open capability are all configured on the network side, so the parameters related to the service side also need to be configured by an operator, and the parameters of the service side and the service requirements are tightly coupled and can change frequently along with the change of the service, and if the service parameters need to be configured in the network of the operator, a large amount of management overhead can be brought, and the service development can be influenced.
