Description

Coating process of water-based hot-melt adhesive tape
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of processing of hot-melt adhesive tape, and relates to a coating process of a water-based hot-melt adhesive tape.
Background
The hot melt adhesive is an adhesive which has no viscosity or very low viscosity at normal temperature and has viscosity after being heated, the hot melt adhesive tape is an adhesive tape type product manufactured by extruding or coating the traditional hot melt adhesive, and the hot melt adhesive tape has the advantages of easy die cutting and processing and easy gluing while the characteristics of the hot melt adhesive are kept. In the gluing process, the adherend can be bonded only by preheating the adherend and then pressing and attaching the adherend to the adhesive tape, a special hot gluing device is not needed, and the adherend can be aligned and then heated and attached again, so that the processing difficulty is greatly reduced, the yield is improved, and the adhesive tape is popular among electronic processing manufacturers.
CN108250993A discloses a formula and a preparation method of a substrate-free low-temperature reactive hot-melt adhesive tape, the adhesive tape is prepared by solvent type hot-melt glue, and the glue comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100-150 parts of thermoplastic polyurethane, 50-150 parts of rosin glyceride, 1-40 parts of closed cross-linking agent, 1-10 parts of wetting and leveling agent, 1-10 parts of defoaming agent, 1-10 parts of rheological agent, 0.1-5 parts of anti-aging agent and 100-400 parts of solvent; the solvent comprises two components of a ketone solvent and an ester solvent, wherein the ketone solvent is selected from any one or more of acetone, butanone and cyclohexanone; the ester solvent is selected from one or more of methyl acetate, ethyl acetate and butyl acetate. The preparation method of the substrate-free low-temperature reactive hot melt adhesive tape comprises the following steps: (1) uniformly coating the glue for the substrate-free low-temperature reactive hot-melt adhesive tape on a high release force surface of a substrate in a comma scraper or anilox roller or slit extrusion or tape casting manner, wherein the coating dry weight thickness is 0.020-0.135mm, and drying the coated glue through a drying tunnel at a linear speed of 1.5-5 m/min; (2) and directly rolling the dried adhesive tape, and cutting the adhesive tape into a standard width to obtain the substrate-free low-temperature reaction type hot-melt adhesive tape. The substrate-free low-temperature reactive hot-melt adhesive tape has mild gluing conditions, can be activated at a lower temperature (90-110 ℃), and has short required hot pressing time and low pressing strength; however, the solvent-type hot melt adhesive contains a solvent, and the used solvent has certain potential safety and environmental protection hazards; when the hot melt adhesive tape is prepared, the thickness of the coated adhesive layer is uneven and easy to be sticky.
The hot-melt wrapping tape is mainly applied to high-speed data transmission cables, the conventional hot-melt wrapping tape adopts a solvent type hot-melt adhesive, the solvent type hot-melt adhesive adopts a large amount of organic solvents such as benzene, dimethylbenzene or vinyl acetate and the like in the production and use processes, and the organic solvents bring a series of problems in the aspects of safety, environmental protection, occupational health and the like. If solvent-free hot melt adhesives are used, special equipment must be purchased. Therefore, it is necessary to apply an aqueous hot melt adhesive to a conventional three-roll coater, and the aqueous hot melt adhesive applied to the three-roll coater has problems such as unevenness and stickiness of the adhesive layer.

The hot melt adhesive coated films prepared by the coating processes of examples 1 to 7 and comparative examples 1 to 4 were subjected to performance tests, the appearance quality and the performance test results of the hot melt adhesive coated films are shown in table 2, wherein the aging test was carried out in an oven at 115 ℃ for 168 hours; heat seal Strength test referring to ZBY 28004-86 Plastic film packaging bags the test specimens were made as follows:
2 sheets of 200mm × 200mm films were hot-pressed on a heat seal strength meter under the following conditions: 0.2MPa, 135 ℃ and 1.5s, wherein the hot-pressing surface of one film is the surface with glue, and the hot-pressing surface of the other film is the surface without glue. TABLE 2 test results of appearance quality and performance of hot-melt wrapping tape
Figure BDA0001767609320000091
As can be seen from tables 1 and 2, in comparative examples 1 to 7, the coating amount of the aqueous hot melt adhesive gradually increased and the viscosity gradually increased as the gap between the sizing roller and the metering roller gradually increased, and the sizing amount was increased from 2.4g/m after the gap was increased from 3 μm to 9 μm2Increased to 4.5g/m2The tackiness increased from 91gf/cm to 203 gf/cm. When the gap was as large as 15 μm, as in comparative example 2, the degree of tackiness became worse and the gum layer was adhered to the films on both sides.
Compared with the example 3, the comparative example 1 adopts the solvent type hot melt adhesive, the viscosity is slightly larger, but the difference between the two is not large, and the adhesive layer is uniform, flat and non-sticky; from the view of process parameters, the water-based hot melt adhesive coating needs the drying tunnel temperature of 100/110/120/90 ℃ and the winding and unwinding speed of 45m/min, while the solvent-based hot melt adhesive coating needs the drying tunnel temperature of 100/120/130/95 ℃ and the winding and unwinding speed of 30m/min, so that the solvent-based hot melt adhesive coating needs higher drying temperature and the winding and unwinding speed of the base material is slower.
The number of revolutions of the size roll in example 3 compared to comparative examples 3-4: the rotating speed of the metering roller: the rotating speed ratio of the delivery roller is 4:3:4, and the glue layer is uniform and flat. When the rotating speed of the metering roller is reduced, if the rotating speed ratio of the three rollers in the comparative example 3 is 4:2:4, the film has serious stickiness after being wound; when the rotation speed of the metering roller is increased, as in comparative example 4, the rotation speed ratio of the three rollers is 9:10:9, the glue layer is wavy, uneven and uneven, and the glue amount in each area is more or less, namely 1.8g/m2To 3.9g/m2And (4) internal variation.
In conclusion, the coating process of the aqueous hot melt adhesive coated PET film on a three-roller machine comprises the following steps of winding and unwinding speed of 45m/min, drying tunnel temperature of 100/110/120/90 ℃, gap between a sizing roller and a metering roller of 7 mu m, and rotating speed of the sizing roller: the rotating speed of the metering roller: when the rotating speed ratio of the delivery rollers is 4:3:4, the difference from the solvent type hot melt adhesive is small in appearance quality and viscosity performance; from the viewpoint of the harmfulness of volatile matters, the coating is more environment-friendly and safer than solvent-based hot melt adhesives; compared with solvent type hot melt adhesive coating, the coating has the advantages of low energy consumption and high efficiency from the aspects of production energy consumption and efficiency.
