Description

Electronic book-based reading state information determination method and electronic equipment
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of electronics, in particular to a method for determining reading state information based on an electronic book and electronic equipment.
Background
The electronic book is a publication that digitizes the content of text, pictures, sound, images, and other information. With the continuous development of science and technology and society, the popularity of electronic books is also increasing, and the shadow of the electronic books appears in the aspects of daily life, work, study and the like. The read pages of the electronic book are also widely applied to various service functions related to the electronic book, for example, to count the reading progress of the user reading the electronic book, for example, to analyze the read contents of the electronic book by the user so as to perform personalized recommendation, for example, to analyze the read contents of a plurality of users for the same electronic book based on big data so as to perform popular content recommendation, and the like. Therefore, the importance of determining the read pages of the electronic book that match the actual reading situation of the user is self-evident.
Currently, when an e-book platform determines a read page of an e-book, the read content of the e-book is usually determined according to a last read page read by a user, but a certain error exists between the read page of the e-book determined in this way and a read page actually read by the user, for example, an e-book includes 1000 read pages, if the user selects only the read pages from the 100 th page to the 200 th page for reading, the read page counted in this way is the read page of the first 200 pages of the e-book, but actually the user only reads the read pages from the 100 th page to the 200 th page, and thus the read status information such as the read progress information and the read content information of the e-book determined by this way are not matched with the actual situation. Therefore, a more precise way to determine the read pages of the e-book and further determine the reading status information of the e-book matching the actual reading situation of the user is needed.

Detailed Description
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. While exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the present disclosure may be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the disclosure to those skilled in the art.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for determining reading state information based on an electronic book according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method includes:
step S101, when the electronic book is in a reading state, each reading page displayed in the electronic book is acquired.
In practical application, the electronic book typesetting tool can be used for typesetting the original document of the electronic book, so as to determine each reading page to be shown in the electronic book, and the electronic book typesetting engine can be used for typesetting the original document of the electronic book to obtain each reading page to be shown in the electronic book. When the electronic book is in a reading state, each reading page in the electronic book is displayed according to a certain display sequence.
Step S102, respectively aiming at each reading page, judging whether a preset trigger operation corresponding to the reading page is detected.
The preset triggering operation generally refers to an operation triggered by a user interacting with a reading page, such as a page turning operation, a menu pulling operation, a sharing operation, a searching operation, and the like. In practical application, whether the preset triggering operation corresponding to the reading page is detected or not can be judged by detecting the sliding action of the user on the terminal screen, and whether the preset triggering operation corresponding to the reading page is detected or not can also be judged by detecting whether the operation function inlet arranged in the reading page is triggered or not.
For example, the terminal may detect a sliding motion of a user on a terminal screen, detect whether the user performs a sliding motion of turning up or turning down a page, and if so, determine that a page turning operation corresponding to the reading page is detected; if yes, judging that the sharing operation or the pull menu operation or the search operation corresponding to the reading page is detected. It should be noted that the specific meaning and detection mode of the preset trigger operation are not limited in the present invention, and those skilled in the art can flexibly set the trigger operation according to actual needs.
Step S103, if the preset trigger operation corresponding to the reading page is judged and detected, the reading page is determined as the read page.
If the preset trigger operation corresponding to the reading page is detected, determining the reading page as a read page, which is also equivalent to determining the content of the electronic book displayed in the reading page as the content read by the user. Therefore, in the embodiment, only when the user makes substantial interaction with the reading page, the reading page is determined as the read page, and the statistical condition that the read page is not true, which is caused by, for example, counting the reading page selected and read by the user into the read page, can be effectively improved by the method, so that the determined read page is more matched with the real reading condition of the user.
Step S104, determining the reading state information of the electronic book according to the read pages in the electronic book.
The reading state information of the electronic book may include reading progress information of the electronic book, read content information of the electronic book, page number information of a read page of the electronic book, and the like. For example, the current reading progress information of the electronic book may be calculated according to the total number of characters corresponding to the read pages in the electronic book, and for example, the content of the electronic book that the corresponding user has read and the page number of the read pages may be determined according to the read pages in the electronic book. The specific content of the reading state information of the electronic book is not limited, and the technical personnel in the field can flexibly set the reading state information according to the actual requirement.
In practical application, the state prompt information of the electronic book can be generated according to the confirmed state information of the electronic book, and the state prompt information of the electronic book is displayed, so that a user reading the electronic book is prompted. For example, the prompt information of the reading progress of the electronic book may be generated for displaying, or the prompt information of the page that has been read of the electronic book may be generated for displaying, or the prompt information of the content that has been read of the electronic book may be generated for displaying, but the scheme of the present invention is not limited thereto.
According to the method for determining the reading state information based on the electronic book, when the electronic book is in the reading state, each reading page displayed in the electronic book is acquired; respectively judging whether preset trigger operation corresponding to each reading page is detected or not; if the preset trigger operation corresponding to the reading page is judged and detected, determining the reading page as a read page; and determining the reading state information of the electronic book according to the read pages in the electronic book. According to the method, the reading page is determined as the read page only when the preset trigger operation on the reading page is detected, and the content of the electronic book which is really read by the user can be determined by adopting the method, so that the reading progress, the read content and other related reading state information of the electronic book can be more accurately determined.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a method for determining reading state information based on an electronic book according to another embodiment of the present invention, where as shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
in step S201, when the electronic book is in a reading state, each reading page displayed in the electronic book is acquired.
Step S202, respectively aiming at each reading page, judging whether a preset trigger operation corresponding to the reading page is detected.
The preset triggering operation refers to an operation triggered by interaction between a user and a reading page, and the preset triggering operation comprises at least one of the following operations: the method comprises the steps of page turning operation, menu pulling operation, sharing operation, note taking operation, searching operation, voting operation, bookmark adding operation and idea obtaining operation. It should be noted that the preset triggering operation in the present invention includes, but is not limited to, the above-mentioned various operations, and in practical applications, the preset triggering operation may be set according to the service function of the electronic book provided by the electronic book platform, the actual requirement, and the like. For example, the e-book application provides a plurality of business functions such as pulling a menu, sharing, making notes, searching in full text, voting, adding bookmarks, obtaining ideas, and inquiring book circles, and displays function entries of each business function in a reading page of the e-book, and a user can use the business function corresponding to the function entry by clicking the function entry displayed in the reading page, and then, for example, the user performs a leftward sliding motion or a rightward sliding motion on a terminal screen, so as to turn down or up the displayed e-book, and thus, the preset trigger operation generally refers to a triggered operation in which the user and the reading page substantially interact with each other.
The invention does not limit the detection mode of the preset trigger operation.
In step S203, if it is determined that the preset trigger operation corresponding to the reading page is detected, it is determined whether the display duration of the reading page is not less than a preset duration threshold.
When the preset trigger operation corresponding to the reading page is detected, further determining whether the display duration of the reading page is not less than a preset duration threshold, for example, counting the display time of each displayed reading page by using a timer, and determining whether the counted display duration is not less than the preset duration threshold, in addition, whether a time difference between the time when the preset trigger operation is detected and the time when the preset trigger operation is detected last time is not less than the preset duration threshold may be further determined.
Taking the preset triggering operation as a page turning operation as an example, in the process of reading an electronic book, if a reading page displayed by the electronic book is not interested by a user, the page is turned quickly, and under the condition, the reading page corresponding to the quick page turning of the user is not actually read by the user.
Step S204, if the display time of the reading page is judged to be not less than the preset time threshold, the reading page is determined to be a read page.
If the display time length of the reading page is judged to be not less than the preset time length threshold value, determining the reading page as a read page; and if the display duration of the reading page is judged to be less than the preset duration threshold, ignoring the reading page and not recording the reading page into the read page of the electronic book.
In practical applications, there may be a case where the user repeatedly reads a previously read page, and in this case, the detected preset trigger operation corresponding to the read page repeatedly read by the user includes at least two preset trigger operations. For example, when a page down operation performed on the reading page corresponding to the page 100 is detected, the reading page of the page 100 is determined as a read page, and what is currently displayed is a reading page of the page 101; if the user needs to repeatedly read the reading page of the 100 th page, performing page up-turning operation on the reading page of the 101 th page, determining the reading page of the 101 th page as a read page at the moment, and showing the reading page of the 100 th page at the moment; at this time, if the user needs to continue reading other pages of the electronic book, the user needs to perform a page up operation, a page down operation, or other preset trigger operations on the 100 th page of the reading page. Therefore, the user repeatedly reads the 100 th reading page, and detects the preset trigger operation of the reading page corresponding to the 100 th page at least twice, if the preset trigger operation of the reading page corresponding to the 100 th page is detected each time, the reading page of the 100 th page is confirmed as the read page, the reading page of the 100 th page is repeatedly confirmed as the read page, and therefore the obtained read page of the electronic book is not accurate.
Therefore, in the embodiment, in order to determine the read pages of the electronic book more accurately, a method for deduplication of the read pages is provided. Specifically, whether the reading page is repeated with a read page in the electronic book is judged according to a preset duplicate removal rule; if not, determining the reading page as a read page.
If the electronic book is judged to have no read page which is the same as the read page, the read page is confirmed as a read page; and if the read page identical to the read page exists in the electronic book, ignoring the read page and not confirming the read page as the read page of the electronic book.
Wherein the preset deduplication rule at least comprises one of the following: the method comprises the following steps of presetting a page number duplication elimination rule, a page content duplication elimination rule and an operation type duplication elimination rule.
Judging whether the reading page and a read page in the electronic book are repeated according to a preset page number duplication elimination rule specifically as follows: and judging whether the read page with the same page number as the read page exists in the electronic book or not. Judging whether the page and a read page in the electronic book are repeated according to a preset page content duplication elimination rule specifically comprises the following steps: and judging whether a read page with the character content completely identical to that of the read page exists in the electronic book or not. In addition, whether the reading page is repeated with the read page in the electronic book or not can be judged according to the operation type of the preset trigger operation corresponding to the reading page. It should be noted that the specific meaning of the preset deduplication rule is not limited, and in short, the modes that can be used for determining whether the read page is duplicated with the read page in the electronic book are included in the scope of the present invention.
In step S205, start-stop characters included in the read page of the electronic book are determined.
The start-stop type characters may refer to a first character and a last character included in a read page, or a character in a first segment and a character in a last segment included in a read page, which is not limited in the present invention. In practical application, after typesetting the original document of the electronic book, the typesetting engine may determine each reading page shown in the electronic book, and further may determine start and stop characters included in the read page in the electronic book.
Step S206, the number of the read characters corresponding to the read page is determined according to the start-stop characters.
In this embodiment, the reading state information of the electronic book is taken as the reading progress information of the electronic book for example, and the reading progress information of the electronic book can be determined through the steps S206 to S207.
Specifically, determining the number of the read characters corresponding to the read page according to the start-stop type characters can be specifically realized by the following two ways:
the first mode is as follows: matching the starting and stopping characters with the original document of the electronic book, and determining the number of the read characters corresponding to the read page according to the matching result.
Matching the start-stop characters contained in the read page of the electronic book with the original document of the electronic book, inquiring all characters between the start-stop characters in the original document of the electronic book, which is equivalent to determining all characters contained in the read page, wherein all characters contained in the read page are the read characters, and then calculating the number of characters (the number of the read characters) of all characters contained in the read page. Therefore, the method firstly determines all characters contained in the read page and then calculates the number of the characters of all the characters, and the accuracy of the number of the read words corresponding to the read page determined by the method is high.
The second mode is as follows: respectively obtaining the start offset information of the start character and the end offset information of the end character contained in the start-stop character, and determining the number of the read characters corresponding to the read page according to the start offset information and the end offset information.
In this embodiment, a typesetting engine may be used to perform typesetting processing on the original documents of the electronic book in advance, and mark offset information of each character in the electronic book. Wherein, the offset information of the character represents the position information of the character in the electronic book, for example, the character represents the first character in the electronic book. The step may specifically be: respectively obtaining the start offset information of the first character and the end offset information of the last character contained in the start-stop character, calculating according to the start offset information and the end offset information, and determining the number of the read characters corresponding to the read page. For example, if the initial character included in a read page is the 100 th character in the electronic book to which the read page belongs, and the ending character is the 200 th character in the electronic book to which the read page belongs, the number of the read characters corresponding to the read page is 100(200 minus 100).
Step S207, determining the reading progress information of the electronic book according to the number of the read characters corresponding to the read page and the total number of the characters of the electronic book.
The number of characters already read corresponding to each page already read in the electronic book can be determined through the step S206, the total number of characters already read of the electronic book can be obtained by adding the number of characters already read corresponding to each page already read, and the reading progress information of the electronic book can be determined according to the total number of characters already read of the electronic book and the total number of characters already read of the electronic book by the user. Optionally, a ratio of the total number of characters already read of the electronic book to the total number of characters of the electronic book is the reading progress of the electronic book.
And S208, generating reading progress prompt information according to the reading progress information of the electronic book, and displaying the reading progress prompt information in the current reading page.
And generating reading progress prompt information according to the reading progress information of the electronic book, and displaying the reading progress information prompt information to prompt the current reading progress of the user. The reading prompt information may be the percentage of the total number of characters already read to the total number of characters of the electronic book, the content already read corresponding to the page already read of the electronic book, or the page number of the page already read of the electronic book.
In practical application, functions of an electronic book platform can be expanded based on a read page of an electronic book, so that user experience is improved, for example, personalized recommendation of the electronic book and popular content recommendation of the electronic book can be performed on a user.
The step of performing electronic book personalized recommendation on the user may specifically include: analyzing document contents corresponding to read pages in an electronic book in an original document of the electronic book to obtain a preference prediction result of a user reading the electronic book; and determining the electronic book matched with the preference prediction result of the user reading the electronic book, and pushing electronic book information corresponding to the matched electronic book to the user reading the electronic book.
According to the above contents, the read pages in the electronic book are determined according to the operation performed by the user on the read pages in the process of reading the electronic book, and the read pages in the electronic book are also equivalent to the read pages read by the user, so that the preference of the user reading the electronic book can be predicted according to the document content analysis of the electronic book corresponding to the read pages in the electronic book. And recommending the electronic book matched with the preference of the user for the user according to the preference of the user. For example, a page of an e-book corresponding to a user that has been read is analyzed, and if more poems read by the user are obtained through analysis, it is presumed that the user prefers the e-book of poetry class, and it is determined that the e-book matched with the user preference prediction result is the poetry class e-book, and then e-book information related to introduction, or choice of poetry and the like of the e-books of a plurality of matched poetry classes is pushed to the user.
The step of recommending the electronic book hit content to the user may specifically include: counting the read pages in the electronic book corresponding to different users reading the electronic book aiming at the same electronic book to obtain the read page marking result of the electronic book; and determining hot recommended content information of the electronic book according to the read page marking result, and pushing the hot recommended content information. In a popular way, statistical analysis is performed on the read pages of the same electronic book by different users, and the read distribution condition of the electronic book read by a large number of users is determined. For example, for the a electronic book, it is counted that the read pages of the a electronic book corresponding to 80% of the users are the read pages of pages 100 to 200, and the read pages of the a electronic book corresponding to 10% of the users are the read pages … … of pages 250 to 300, so that the hot recommended content information of the a electronic book can be determined according to the document content corresponding to pages 100 to 200 in the a electronic book, and the determined hot recommended content information is pushed.
In summary, in this way, only when the preset trigger operation on the reading page is detected, the reading page is determined as the read page, which can effectively improve the statistical case that the read page is not authentic, for example, due to the fact that the reading page selected and read by the user is counted into the read page, and the like, and secondly, the embodiment also provides a deduplication method, which avoids the case that the same reading page is repeatedly determined as the read page, and through the above way, the content of the electronic book actually read by the user can be more accurately determined, so that the reading progress, the read content, and other relevant reading state information of the electronic book can be more accurately determined; in addition, reading progress prompt information is generated according to the reading progress information of the electronic book for displaying, and progress reminding can be performed on a user; in addition, the method also provides a method for carrying out electronic book personalized recommendation on the user based on the real reading condition of the vast users and a method for recommending electronic book popular content, and can improve the reading experience of the user.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a method for determining reading state information based on an electronic book according to another embodiment of the present invention, where the method includes:
step S301, when the electronic book is in a reading state, each reading page displayed in the electronic book is acquired.
For a specific implementation of this step, reference may be made to the description of step S101, which is not described herein again.
Step S302, respectively determining whether a preset trigger operation corresponding to each reading page is detected.
For a specific implementation of this step, reference may be made to the description of step S102, which is not described herein again.
Step S303, if it is determined that the preset trigger operation corresponding to the reading page is detected, determining the reading page as a read page.
For a specific implementation of this step, reference may be made to the description of step S103, which is not described herein again.
Step S304, when the time difference between the current system time and the time of counting the time interval progress information last time is judged to reach the preset time period, the time interval progress information corresponding to the time period is determined according to the read page in the electronic book.
A specific application scenario is described below: parents or teachers arrange children with reading tasks, such as specifying that children read 10% of the contents of an electronic book every day, so parents or teachers need to intuitively see whether children actually read page by page and whether daily reading tasks are completed. As another example, if the user sets a reading schedule by himself, for example, the user reads 25% of the contents of an electronic book every week, the user needs to intuitively see the actual reading progress every week. However, the existing reading progress counting method cannot always eliminate the situation of the false reading amount generated by directly sliding the progress bar, and cannot always count the reading progress of the user in each period. Based on this, the present embodiment further provides a method for counting reading progress in time slots in a reading cycle, wherein the reading page actually read by the user can be confirmed according to the steps S301 to S303, and then the reading progress information of the user in each time slot can be counted based on the actual reading condition of the user according to the step S304.
The preset time period may be day-wise or week-wise or month-wise, that is, when the preset time period is day-wise or week-wise, the reading schedule of the user is counted, when the preset time period is week-wise, the reading schedule of the user is counted every week, and when the preset time period is month-wise, the reading schedule of the user is counted every month. The preset time period may be set by the user, or may be set by default by the e-book platform system, which is not limited in the present invention.
