When the normal file system of the device is damaged and the device automatically enters recovery, the device can be connected to the operator network. Enabling devices to enter recovery may support a wider range of network applications.
The method/system provided by the embodiment enables video terminal network products such as the set-top box and the like to support the access of the operator authentication network. The file loading of the data storage area is realized in recovery, a user name and a password for authentication can be read, a network connection mode can also be obtained, and finally the connection to an operator network based on user name and password authentication is realized.
The method/system provided by the embodiment enables the network products of the video terminal such as the set-top box and the like to realize network downloading of the upgrade package in recovery. After the equipment enters the recovery mode, the equipment can also be connected with the network to download the upgrade package so as to upgrade the equipment, thus avoiding the trouble that the equipment cannot be started and can only go to the door or a business hall to change software after the equipment file is damaged.
As will be appreciated by one skilled in the art, embodiments of the present invention may be provided as a method, system, or computer program product. Accordingly, the present invention may take the form of an entirely hardware embodiment, an entirely software embodiment or an embodiment combining software and hardware aspects. The present invention is described with reference to flowchart illustrations and/or block diagrams of methods, apparatus (systems), and computer program products according to embodiments of the invention. It will be understood that each flow and/or block of the flow diagrams and/or block diagrams, and combinations of flows and/or blocks in the flow diagrams and/or block diagrams, can be implemented by computer program instructions. These computer program instructions may be provided to a processor of a general purpose computer, special purpose computer, embedded processor, or other programmable data processing apparatus to produce a machine, such that the instructions, which execute via the processor of the computer or other programmable data processing apparatus, create means for implementing the functions specified in the flowchart flow or flows and/or block diagram block or blocks.
These computer program instructions may also be stored in a computer-readable memory that can direct a computer or other programmable data processing apparatus to function in a particular manner, such that the instructions stored in the computer-readable memory produce an article of manufacture including instruction means which implement the function specified in the flowchart flow or flows and/or block diagram block or blocks.
These computer program instructions may also be loaded onto a computer or other programmable data processing apparatus to cause a series of operational steps to be performed on the computer or other programmable apparatus to produce a computer implemented process such that the instructions which execute on the computer or other programmable apparatus provide steps for implementing the functions specified in the flowchart flow or flows and/or block diagram block or blocks.
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and improvements can be made without departing from the principle of the present invention, and such modifications and improvements are also considered to be within the scope of the present invention. Those not described in detail in this specification are within the skill of the art.

Claims (8)

1. A device upgrading method of a set top box in a recovery mode is characterized by comprising the following steps:
storing a network service file, a download service file and an upgrade parameter file in a root file directory under a recovery mode, wherein the upgrade parameter file stores a user name and a password required by authentication of network connection and an upgrade file package download address;
after the equipment enters a recovery mode, loading the network service file, downloading the service file and correspondingly registering the network service and the file downloading service;
starting network service and file downloading service, loading user name and password in upgrading parameters to obtain network connection authority, and connecting to operator network;
downloading an upgrade file package and upgrading;
wherein, the network service file comprises a program for realizing the network service function and a script required in the execution process of the program,
the download service file comprises a program for realizing the download service function and a script corresponding to the download service;
the method comprises the steps that a network service file is stored in a root file directory under a recovery mode, specifically, a program for realizing a network service function and a script file required in the program execution process are stored in the root file directory under the recovery mode;
storing a downloading service file in a root file directory in a recovery mode, specifically, storing a program for realizing a downloading service function and a script file corresponding to the downloading service in the root file directory in the recovery mode;
the specific process of the specific operation method for storing the network service file, the download service file and the upgrade parameter file in the root file directory comprises the following steps:
writing an executive program required by network service and downloading service in a recovery file system;
adding a script of a storage partition for loading a user name and a password into a recovery/root/init.rc file of a recovery root file system, and specifying the read-write permission of the directory;
a series of operations required by the network service and the download service are written into an execution script.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the script in the web services file is operable to:
reading a user name and a password in the upgrading parameters;
executing a program execution file for realizing a network service function by taking the read user name and password as parameters;
and writing an ip address, a gateway address, a subnet mask and a domain name resolution server required by the network service to realize the network connection.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein:
and the upgrading parameter file also stores an upgrading file storage address.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein:
the method also comprises an operation configuration step, which is used for configuring the user selection interface and carrying out network service or upgrading service according to the input selection.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the process of opening the network service comprises:
executing the script in the network service file to obtain the upgrading parameter;
transmitting the obtained upgrade parameters serving as parameters to the execution files busybox ifconfig, udhcpc, pppoe and wget;
and executing the execution file in the script in the download service file, and realizing network connection or subsequent download of the upgrade package after the user name and the password are verified.
6. The method of claim 5, wherein:
after selecting network connection and network upgrading functions, starting corresponding registered services, calling related execution scripts, reading user names, passwords and upgrading address information, executing statically compiled execution files busy and/or pppoe and wget, and then automatically connecting an authentication network and downloading an upgrading package.
7. An equipment upgrading system of a set top box in recovery mode is characterized by comprising:
the parameter configuration module is used for respectively storing a network service file, a download service file and an upgrade parameter file into a root file directory under a recovery mode, wherein the upgrade parameter file stores a user name and a password required by authentication of network connection and an upgrade file package download address;
the service loading module is used for loading the network service file, downloading the service file and correspondingly registering the network service and the file downloading service after the equipment enters the recovery mode;
the service starting module is used for starting network service and file downloading service, loading a user name and a password in the upgrading parameters, obtaining network connection authority and then connecting to an operator network;
the upgrading module is used for downloading the upgrading file package and upgrading the upgrading file package;
wherein, the network service file comprises a program for realizing the network service function and a script required in the execution process of the program,
the download service file comprises a program for realizing the download service function and a script corresponding to the download service;
the method comprises the steps that a network service file is stored in a root file directory under a recovery mode, specifically, a program for realizing a network service function and a script file required in the program execution process are stored in the root file directory under the recovery mode;
storing a downloading service file in a root file directory in a recovery mode, specifically, storing a program for realizing a downloading service function and a script file corresponding to the downloading service in the root file directory in the recovery mode;
the specific process of the specific operation method for storing the network service file, the download service file and the upgrade parameter file in the root file directory comprises the following steps:
writing an executive program required by network service and downloading service in a recovery file system;
adding a script of a storage partition for loading a user name and a password into a recovery/root/init.rc file of a recovery root file system, and specifying the read-write permission of the directory;
a series of operations required by the network service and the download service are written into an execution script.
8. The system of claim 7, wherein:
the system also comprises an operation configuration module which is used for configuring the user selection interface and carrying out network service or upgrading service according to the input selection.
