The communication flow of the set-top box using the interactive service in the current digital interactive television service system is based on the IPv4 technology, and the IPv4 has the biggest problems that the network address resource is limited, the service address translation is complex, and the development of the interactive service is seriously restricted, so the IPv6 technology is born. The use of IPv6 not only solves the problem of network address resource quantity, but also solves the complexity of multiple access devices connecting to interactive system. However, the period required by the IPv6 transformation of the whole system is longer, and in order to transition from IPv4 to IPv6 as soon as possible, the digital television interactive television service system adopts the IPv4/IPv6 mixed network mode for transformation and upgrading.

Specifically, the IPv4/IPv6 hybrid network module 6 is configured to obtain corresponding IPv4 and IPv6 addresses according to the decoded network signal, and provide a DNS resolution function; the IPv4/IPv6 hybrid application module 7 is configured to provide an adaptive access function for IPv 4-based applications and IPv 6-based applications, allow IPv 4-based applications to communicate with front-end systems via an IPv4 address access, and allow IPv 6-based applications to communicate with front-end systems via an IPv6 address access. When a user opens application for use, an application-initiated request is sent to the IPv4/IPv6 hybrid application module 7, the IPv4/IPv6 hybrid application module 7 initiates a DNS analysis request through an internal IPv4 or IPv6 system interface, the processor 3 sends the DNS analysis request to the IPv4/IPv6 hybrid network module 6, and the IPv4/IPv6 hybrid network module 6 requests the front end to analyze an IPv4 analysis address or an IPv6 analysis address through the radio frequency input processing unit 8; then the IPv4/IPv6 hybrid network module 6 returns the returned IPv4 resolved address or IPv6 resolved address to the IPv4/IPv6 hybrid application module 7 through the processor 3; and the IPv4/IPv6 hybrid application module 7 performs data interaction according to the returned IPv4 resolved address or IPv6 resolved address.
