Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
Fig. 1 is a system architecture diagram of a message pushing method according to the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 1, the method involves an application server, a message pushing server, and terminal devices, where the application server provides information of terminal devices to be pushed with a message to the message pushing server, and the message pushing server filters the terminal devices, selects terminal devices that meet a condition, and then sends the pushed message to the terminal devices that meet the condition.
For convenience of description, the following embodiments of the present disclosure will simply refer to "terminal device" as "device".
The following embodiments of the present disclosure respectively illustrate technical solutions of the present disclosure from the perspective of a message push server and an application server.
The following first describes a process on the message push server side.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a message pushing method according to an exemplary embodiment, where an execution subject of the method is the message server, as shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
in step S201, a message to be pushed sent by an application server and a device set to receive the message to be pushed are received.
Optionally, after the user installs an application on a certain device, the application server corresponding to the application may record information of the device to indicate that the application is installed on the device. Further, when the application server needs to perform message pushing, the message content to be pushed and the information of the device on which the application is installed can be sent to the message pushing server.
Optionally, the information of the device sent by the application server to the message push server may be the device set to be pushed with the message. For example, assuming that three devices, i.e., device 1, device 2, and device 3, have applications installed, the application server sends a device set including device 1, device 2, and device 3 to the message push server.
Optionally, the device set may include an identifier of a device, for example, an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) of the device.
In step S202, a subset of devices meeting the push condition is screened from the device set, where the subset of devices includes at least one first device, and the first device has an application installed thereon, and the device registration information of the first device and the registration information of the application are both valid.
Optionally, after the message push server receives the message to be pushed sent by the application server and the device set of the message to be pushed, the device in the device set may be screened to screen out an effective device for sending.
Optionally, in the device screened by the message push server, in addition to installing the application of the application server on the device, both the device registration information of the device and the registration information of the application need to be valid.
Wherein the device registration information being valid may indicate that the user has used the device and registered the device account. The registration information of the application is valid may mean that the user has used the application and registered an account of the application.
In one example, if the user installs application a on device 1 and successfully registers with application a, which indicates that the user has successfully completed the device registration and application registration processes, the device registration information and the registration information of application a are both valid.
In another example, if the user installs and registers application B again on device 1, both the device registration information and the registration information of application B are valid.
In yet another example, if the user uninstalls application B, the device registration information is valid and the registration information of application B is invalid.
In yet another example, if the user further uninstalls application a, the device registration information is invalid and the registration information of application a is invalid.
In addition, for a device, if the device is not connected to the network within a preset time period after the registration is successful, it may be determined that the device registration information of the device is invalid.
In step S203, the message to be pushed is pushed to each of the first devices.
And after the device set of the messages to be pushed is screened, obtaining a screened device subset meeting the conditions, wherein the device subset comprises one or more devices meeting the conditions. And the message pushing server sends the message to be pushed to the devices meeting the conditions.
In this embodiment, the message pushing server selects, from the device set of the message to be pushed sent by the application server, a device in which the application is installed and both the device registration information and the application registration information are valid, to send the message to be pushed, so that the message to be pushed can be pushed to a user who really uses the application, thereby improving the message pushing efficiency and saving the message pushing cost.
On the basis of the above embodiment, the present embodiment relates to a process of screening out a subset of devices meeting the pushing condition from the above device set.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a message pushing method according to an exemplary embodiment, where, as shown in fig. 3, the step S202 includes:
in step S301, it is determined, according to the identifier of the device in the device set, through a device information database, whether the device in the device set is installed with the application of the application server, and whether the device registration information of the device in the device set and the registration information of the application are valid.
Optionally, the message push server may be a server provided by a device manufacturer, and after the user purchases the device, and after the user registers an account on the device, and after the user installs the application on the device and registers the account of the application, the device may send the device registration information and the registration information of the application to the message push server, and the message push server stores the device registration information and the registration information of the application in the device information database. If the user only installs a certain application on a certain device but does not register an account on the application, the message push server records that the application is installed on the device in the device information database, and the registration information of the application is invalid. If the user uninstalls the application during the process of using the device, or the device is not connected to the network for a long time, the push server may change the device registration information in the device information database or the registration information of the application. For example, assuming that the user uninstalls the application on the device, the device may send information of uninstalling the application to the message push server, and the message push server may further modify the registration information of the application in the device information database to be invalid. For example, assuming that the device is not connected to the network within 90 days, the message push server may modify the registration information of the device to be invalid in the device information database. Optionally, the device information database further stores an identifier of the device, where the identifier of the device may correspond to registration information of one device and registration information of one or more applications.
Furthermore, in this step, the message pushing server searches, according to the device identifier included in the device set, the registration information of the device corresponding to the device identifier and the registration information of the application corresponding to the application server in the device information database, and if the registration information of the device corresponding to the device identifier and the registration information of the application are both valid, it may be determined that the message to be pushed may be pushed to the device.
In step S302, a device in which the application of the application server is installed and both the device registration information and the registration information of the application are valid is used as a first device in the device subset.
Optionally, the device set may include a plurality of device identifiers, and for each device identifier, the message push server may determine whether a message needs to be pushed to the device push server, and further, use all devices that satisfy the screening condition as the first device in the device subset.
In this embodiment, the device in the device set is screened through the device information database, so that the device in which the application is installed and the device registration information and the application registration information are both valid is screened out, and thus, the message to be pushed can be pushed to the user who really uses the application, thereby improving the message pushing efficiency and saving the message pushing cost.
On the basis of the above embodiment, the present embodiment relates to a process of further screening the above first device.
Optionally, the first device further satisfies at least one of the following conditions:
the measurement result of the network of the first device is greater than or equal to a preset threshold, the current position of the first device is located in a preset area, the version of the application installed on the first device is higher than a preset version, the model of the device is a model in a preset model set, and the language used by the first device is a preset language.
The measurement result of the network may refer to a network speed of a network to which the first device is connected. If the measurement result of the network of the first device is greater than or equal to a preset threshold, for example, the network is greater than a certain threshold, it indicates that the first device can normally receive the message to be pushed.
For some push messages for a specific area, for example, push messages for a specific city, whether to push messages to the first device may be determined by determining whether the current location of the first device is located in a preset area.
For some push messages which need to be used under a higher application version, whether to push messages to the first device may be determined by judging whether the version of the application installed on the first device is higher than a preset version.
For some push messages which can only be operated under a specific device model, whether the push messages are pushed to the first device can be determined by judging whether the model of the first device is a model in a preset model set.
For some pushed messages pushed according to a specific language, whether to push messages to the first device can be determined by judging whether the language used by the first device is a preset language.
In a specific implementation process, one or more of the above conditions may be selected as a screening condition according to characteristics of the push message.
In this embodiment, the device is further screened according to one or more of the network state, the location information, the version information, the device model information, and the language information, so that the accuracy of the message to be pushed is further improved.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiments, further, the message push message server may further send a push result to the application server, where the push result is used to indicate the subset of devices that receive the message to be pushed.
Optionally, the push result may include the subset of devices, and specifically may include an identifier of the screened device.
The following is the application server side processing procedure.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a message pushing method according to an exemplary embodiment, where an execution subject of the method is the application server, and as shown in fig. 4, the method includes:
in step S401, a set of devices to receive a message to be pushed is determined.
Alternatively, for the application server, devices on which applications have been installed may be selected to form a device set.
In step S401, the message to be pushed and the device set are sent to a message pushing server.
Optionally, the device set may include an identifier of the device, for example, an IMEI of the device.
Further, after the message push server receives the message to be pushed and the device set, the device in the device set may be screened according to the process of the foregoing embodiment, and the screened device sends the message to be pushed.
In this embodiment, the application server determines a device set to receive a message to be pushed, and sends the message to be pushed and the device set to the message pushing server, so that the message pushing server can screen out a device, in which an application is installed and both device registration information and application registration information are valid, from the device set of the message to be pushed sent by the application server to send the message to be pushed, and thus the message to be pushed can be pushed to a user who really uses the application, thereby improving the message pushing efficiency and saving the message pushing cost.
On the basis of the above embodiments, the present embodiment relates to a process in which the application server receives the push result.
Optionally, the method further includes:
and receiving a push result sent by the message push server, where the push result is used to indicate a subset of devices receiving the message to be pushed, the subset of devices is a subset which is screened from the set of devices and meets a push condition, the subset of devices includes at least one first device, the first device is installed with an application of the application server, and device registration information of the device and registration information of the application are both valid.
Optionally, the push result may include the subset of devices, and specifically may include an identifier of the screened device.
On the basis of the above-described embodiment, the present embodiment relates to a condition further satisfied by the above-described first device.
