The invention discloses a data destruction triggering method and a device thereof based on physical protection, comprising a panel, a cabin door, a positioning assembly, a limiting pressing plate, a triggering key and a triggering circuit; the data destruction triggering method based on physical protection is simple in operation steps, can be operated by one hand and is easy to realize, when data needs to be destroyed, the GPIO interface of the processor in the triggering circuit detects a signal that the level is changed from low to high by long pressing of the triggering key, the processor sends a formatting instruction to the control system after receiving the signal, and the control system carries out formatting operation on a data storage medium, so that data destruction is realized; the device provided by the invention has the advantages of simple and compact structure, high working reliability and contribution to wide popularization and application.

Background
With the development of information technology, more and more important data are stored on a storage device of a computer, and people pay attention to the problem of how to ensure the security of the data. The positioning component 3 is arranged on the panel 1 corresponding to the side position of the groove 12 and can position the hatch door 2 at a position for opening or closing the opening 11; specifically, the positioning assembly 3 includes a spring 31 and a ball 32, two long grooves 13 for disposing the spring 31 are symmetrically disposed at two sides of the groove 12, the spring 31 is disposed in the long groove 13, the ball 32 is disposed at one end of the long groove 13 close to the hatch door 2, and an opening positioning concave 21 and a closing positioning concave 22 corresponding to the ball 32 are disposed on a side wall of the hatch door 2.
