When the flip member 110 is in the first position, the flip member 110 is adjacent to the surface of the module body 100; when the flip element 110 moves from the first position to the second position under the action of the first elastic element 120, the flip element 110 shields the slot adjacent to the slot where the pluggable module 10 is located.
The module body 100 is substantially rectangular, and has a clearance groove 102, and when the turning member 110 is located at the first position, the turning member 110 is located in the clearance groove 102, so as to improve the flatness of the shape of the pluggable module 10 and reduce the occupied space of the pluggable module 10. Referring to fig. 3 and 4, the inner wall of the avoiding groove 102 is provided with a limiting member 104, the limiting member 104 is substantially a U-shaped strip, and two ends of the opening of the U-shaped strip are respectively connected to the inner wall of the avoiding groove 102.
The turning member 110 may have different structures as required, and in this embodiment, the turning member 110 is a substantially rectangular plate to reduce the mass thereof. In other embodiments, the turning member 110 may be an arc-shaped plate.
The turnover member 110 is rotatably coupled to one of the sidewalls of the module body 100 by a rotation shaft 112. When the flip element 110 is in the first position, the flip element 110 is adjacent to a corresponding surface of the module body 100 to expose a slot adjacent to the slot in which the pluggable module 10 is located, which means that the flip element 110 is close to or abuts the surface of the module body 100. When the flip member 110 is in the second position, the flip member 110 is away from the corresponding surface of the module body 100 and is substantially perpendicular to the corresponding surface of the module body 100 so as to cover the slot adjacent to the slot in which the pluggable module 10 is located.
The first elastic member 120 may have different structures and numbers as required, in this embodiment, the first elastic member 120 includes a first torsion spring, the first torsion spring is sleeved on the rotating shaft 112, and two support arms of the first torsion spring respectively support against the module body 100 and the turnover member 110. The number of the first elastic members 120 is two, and the two first elastic members 120 are arranged at intervals along the axial direction of the rotating shaft 112, so as to ensure that the turning member 110 can shield the slot position adjacent to the slot position where the plug-in module 10 is located under the action of the first elastic members 120.
In other embodiments, the first elastic element 120 may also adopt other structures, for example, it may be a V-shaped elastic sheet, and two side arms of the V-shaped elastic sheet respectively support the module body 100 and the flip element 110.
Referring to fig. 3 and 4 again, the pluggable module 10 further includes a locking assembly 200, and the locking assembly 200 is used for locking the flip element 110 at the first position. This makes the user can lock upset piece 110 in the first position through locking subassembly 200 when upset piece 110 need not shelter from adjacent slot position to guarantee the compact structure nature of plug module 10, reduce the space that plug module 10 occupies.
The locking assembly 200 may have different structures as required, in this embodiment, the locking assembly 200 includes a first locking hook 210 disposed on the flip element 110, a rotating element 220 disposed on the module body 100, and a second elastic element 230 disposed between the module body 100 and the rotating element 220, and the rotating element 220 is configured to hold the first locking hook 210 under the action of the second elastic element 230. When the rotating member 220 catches the first locking hook 210, the flip member 110 is locked at the first position. The rotating member 220 can be rotated by an external force to release the first locking hook 210. When the rotating member 220 releases the first locking hook 210, the reverse member 110 is unlocked from the first position.
In detail, the latch hook is substantially L-shaped and is formed by bending a portion of the flip-flop 110 toward a side close to the module body 100.
When the turning member 110 is at the first position, the turning member 110 abuts against the side of the limiting member 104 away from the rotating member 220, so as to prevent the turning member 110 from colliding with the rotating member 220. The rotating member 220 is located in the avoiding groove 102, the rotating member 220 is substantially long and includes a rotating portion 222 and a first triggering portion 224, the rotating portion 222 and the first triggering portion 224 are connected to each other, the connection portion of the rotating portion 222 and the first triggering portion 224 is rotatably connected to the module body 100, and when the pluggable module 10 is inserted into the groove and the first triggering portion 224 abuts against the predetermined portion of the chassis, the first triggering portion 224 drives the rotating portion 222 to rotate, so that the rotating portion 222 releases the first locking hook 210.
It should be noted that, in other embodiments, the first latch hook 210 may also have a U-shape; the first latch hook 210 may also be welded to the flip-flop member 110; the rotating member 220 may include only the rotating portion 222.
The second elastic element 230 is also located in the avoiding groove 102, and the second elastic element 230 may adopt different structures according to the requirement. In other embodiments, the second elastic element 230 may also be a coil spring, and two ends of the bolt spring respectively support the module body 100 and the rotating element 220.
The operation principle and process of the pluggable module 10 are as follows:
when the pluggable module 10 is not inserted into the slot of the chassis, the flip element 110 is locked in the first position by the locking element 200 (see fig. 1 and 3), and the rotating portion 222 of the rotating element 220 engages with the first locking hook 210; when the plug module 10 is inserted into one of the slots of the chassis, in the process that the plug module 10 enters the slot, the first trigger portion 224 of the rotating member 220 collides with a predetermined portion of the chassis, and the first trigger portion 224 drives the rotating portion 222 to rotate, so that the rotating portion 222 releases the first locking hook 210, and at this time, the flip member 110 tends to move from the first position to the second position under the action of the first elastic member 120.
When the plugging module is located in the slot position adjacent to the slot position where the plugging module 10 is located, the turning piece 110 is blocked by the plugging module in the adjacent slot position and cannot rotate from the first position to the second position; when the plug-in module 10 in the adjacent slot is pulled out, the turning piece 110 will rotate from the first position to the second position (see fig. 2 and 4) under the action of the first elastic piece 120, so as to shield the adjacent slot, to prevent the cooling air in the chassis from flowing out from the empty slot, and to force the cooling air to flow through the positions of other plug-in modules, thereby effectively ensuring the heat dissipation effect.
The plug-in module 10 is used for being in plug-in fit with one slot position of a chassis and comprises a module body 100, a turnover piece 110 and a first elastic piece 120, wherein the turnover piece 110 is rotatably arranged on the module body 100, and the first elastic piece 120 is arranged between the module body 100 and the turnover piece 110; when the flip member 110 is in the first position, the flip member 110 is adjacent to the surface of the module body 100; when the flip element 110 moves from the first position to the second position under the action of the first elastic element 120, the flip element 110 shields the slot adjacent to the slot where the pluggable module 10 is located. When the plug-in module 10 is inserted into one of the slots of the chassis, the turning piece 110 tends to shield the adjacent slot due to the action of the first elastic piece 120, and when the plug-in module 10 in the adjacent slot is pulled out, the turning piece 110 can shield the empty slot, so that cooling air is prevented from flowing out of the empty slot, the cooling air is forced to dissipate heat through the positions of other plug-in modules 10, the heat dissipation efficiency of the chassis is effectively improved, and the defects of the existing plug-in module are overcome.
