The invention discloses an electronic system capable of sharing peripheral devices, which comprises a display device, a first host, at least one peripheral device and a second host. The first host and the display device form communication and output a first picture to the display device. The first host transmits the connection information to the display device. At least one peripheral device is connected to the first host. The second host and the display device form communication and output a second picture to the display device. The display device arranges the first picture and the second picture according to a picture arrangement mode. The second host obtains connection information and a screen arrangement mode from the display device. The first host acquires the picture arrangement mode from the display device. The second host establishes a connection with the first host via a network according to the connection information, so that at least one peripheral device can control the second host via the first host and the network.

Technical Field
The present invention relates to an electronic system capable of sharing peripheral devices, and more particularly, to an electronic system capable of automatically establishing connections among a plurality of hosts to share peripheral devices.
Background
A KVM (keyboard Video mouse) switch is a computer hardware device that allows a user to control a plurality of computers through a set of peripheral devices such as a keyboard, a screen, and a mouse. In the prior art, when a user wants to make multiple computers share a peripheral device or transmit data to each other, the user needs to manually perform related settings (e.g., input an ip address and an open port information of another computer) on the computers to establish connection between the computers. The manual setting method is not only complicated and inefficient, but also causes a trouble in setting if the user is unfamiliar with the operation of the computer.
Disclosure of Invention
It is therefore one of the objectives of the claimed invention to provide an electronic system capable of automatically establishing connections among multiple hosts to share peripheral devices, so as to solve the above-mentioned problems.
According to an embodiment, an electronic system capable of sharing a peripheral device includes a display device, a first host, at least one peripheral device, and a second host. The first host and the display device form communication and output a first picture to the display device. The first host transmits the connection information to the display device. At least one peripheral device is connected to the first host. The second host is communicated with the display device and outputs a second picture to the display device. The display device arranges the first picture and the second picture according to the picture arrangement mode. The second host obtains connection information and a screen arrangement mode from the display device. The first host acquires the picture arrangement mode from the display device. The second host establishes a connection with the first host via the network according to the connection information, so that at least one peripheral device can control the second host via the first host and the network.

As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the electronic system 1 capable of sharing peripheral devices includes a display device 10, a first host 12, at least one peripheral device 14, and a second host 16. When the second host 16 and the display device 10 are in communication by wire, the KVM application of the second host 16 can obtain the connection information of the first host 12 and the above-mentioned screen arrangement from the display device 10 through the display data channel command interface (DDC/CI), but not limited thereto. In this embodiment, the first host 12 and the second host 16 can also communicate with a Network 18 (e.g., a Local Area Network (LAN) or a Wireless LAN (WLAN)) in a wired or Wireless manner. Therefore, when the KVM application of the second host 16 obtains the connection information of the first host 12 from the display device 10, the second host 16 can pair with the first host 12 via the network 18 and establish a connection according to the connection information. After the second host 16 and the first host 12 establish a connection via the network 18, the user can operate the peripheral device 14 to control the second host 16 via the first host 12 and the network 18. Thus, the first host 12 and the second host 16 can share the peripheral device 14 and transmit the file.

When the KVM application of the first host 12 receives the identification information and the IP address of the second host 16 via the network 18, the KVM application of the first host 12 may transmit the connection information to the second host 16 via the network 18 according to the IP address of the second host 16. When the KVM application of the second host 16 obtains the connection information of the first host 12 from the display device 10, the KVM application of the second host 16 can pair with the first host 12 via the network 18 and establish a connection according to the connection information.
