For better understanding of the technical solutions of the present invention, the following detailed descriptions of the embodiments of the present invention are provided with reference to the accompanying drawings.
It should be understood that the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the invention, and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The terminology used in the embodiments of the invention is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention. As used in the examples of the present invention and the appended claims, the singular forms "a," "an," and "the" are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
It should be understood that the term "and/or" as used herein is merely one type of association that describes an associated object, meaning that three relationships may exist, e.g., a and/or B may mean: a exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, and B exists alone. In addition, the character "/" herein generally indicates that the former and latter related objects are in an "or" relationship.
It should be understood that although the terms first, second, etc. may be used to describe the alignment marks in embodiments of the present invention, these alignment marks should not be limited by these terms. These terms are only used to distinguish alignment marks from each other. For example, the first alignment mark may also be referred to as the second alignment mark, and similarly, the second alignment mark may also be referred to as the first alignment mark without departing from the scope of embodiments of the present invention.
An embodiment of the present invention provides a display panel, as shown in fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic view of the display panel provided by the embodiment of the present invention, wherein the display panel includes a substrate 1, and an alignment mark 2 and an information mark 3 which are disposed on one side of the substrate, and the alignment mark 2 is used for aligning and binding the substrate 1 and a circuit board (not shown); the information mark 3 is used to identify the display panel, and the information mark 3 and the alignment mark 2 are overlapped.
For example, the information tag 3 pre-stores identity information including product specifications of the display panel and manufacturer, and the identity information is unique for each display panel. Specifically, the identity information may include chinese characters, english, numbers, and the like that can be recognized by human eyes, and may also include images such as two-dimensional codes that need to be read by a reading device including a photoelectric scanning device. In the subsequent production and use processes, if the identity information of the display panel needs to be identified, the identity information of the display panel can be identified through a reading device comprising human eyes or photoelectric scanning equipment according to actual needs, so that the display panel can be managed finely.
According to the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention, in the manufacturing process of the display panel, the alignment mark 2 is arranged on one side of the substrate 1, so that when the circuit board is bound and connected on the display panel subsequently, the substrate and the circuit board can be accurately aligned through the alignment mark 2, and the alignment precision is improved. In addition, the information mark 3 is arranged on one side of the substrate 1, so that when different display panels need to be identified, the identity information of the display panels can be identified through a reading device including human eyes or photoelectric scanning equipment, and the display panels can be managed finely. On this basis, the information mark 3 and the alignment mark 2 are overlapped, so that the space occupied by the information mark 3 and the alignment mark 2 on the substrate 1 can be reduced, and the phenomenon that the information mark 3 and the alignment mark 2 occupy a larger area of the substrate 1 when being separately arranged is avoided, so that more space in the substrate 1 can be used for arranging pixel units, the frame size of the display panel is reduced, and the screen occupation ratio of the display panel is improved.
Illustratively, the information mark 3 may have various pattern designs according to design requirements. As shown in fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a position relationship between an information mark and an alignment mark according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the information mark 3 includes an identification area 31 and a non-identification area 32, where the identification area 31 is provided with information such as chinese characters, english, numbers, or two-dimensional codes for recording identity information of a display panel, and the non-identification area 32 is not provided with the information. In the embodiment of the present invention, the non-identification area 32 of the information mark 3 and the alignment mark 2 are overlapped, and this arrangement of the embodiment of the present invention can also ensure the accuracy of the identity information of the display panel recorded in the identification area 31 on the basis of reducing the occupied space of the information mark 3 and the alignment mark 2, thereby avoiding the influence on the function of the information mark 3 for identifying the display panel.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, when the size of the non-recognition area 32 is larger than that of the alignment mark 2, the non-recognition area 32 of the information mark 3 may cover the alignment mark 2, that is, in a limited space of the substrate 1, a part of the space is provided with both the alignment mark 2 and the non-recognition area 32 of the information mark 3, so as to improve the space utilization rate of the substrate 1 and reduce the size of the non-display area of the display panel.
Alternatively, as shown in fig. 3, fig. 3 is another schematic diagram of a position relationship between an information mark and an alignment mark provided by the embodiment of the present invention, and when the size of the non-identification area 32 is larger than that of the alignment mark 2, the embodiment of the present invention may further use the hollow area 320 in the non-identification area 32 of the information mark 3 to reuse the hollow area 320 as the alignment mark 2. That is to say, in the non-recognition area 32 of the information mark 3, a hollow design may be performed according to the design shape of the alignment mark 2, so that the shape of the hollow area 320 is the same as the shape of the designed alignment mark 2, so that the hollow area 320 is used as the alignment mark 2, and thus when a circuit board is subsequently bonded, the substrate 1 and the circuit board may be bonded by the alignment mark 2 formed in the hollow area 320. Meanwhile, since the hollow-out area 320 is located in the non-identification area 32 of the information mark 3, the accuracy of the identity information of the display panel recorded in the identification area 31 can be ensured on the basis of reducing the areas occupied by the alignment mark 2 and the information mark 3.
In the above description of fig. 2 to 3, the size of the non-recognition area 32 of the information mark 3 is larger than that of the alignment mark 2, but actually, the size of the alignment mark 2 may be set to be larger, and the size of the non-recognition area 32 may be set to be smaller, in this case, as shown in fig. 4 and 5, fig. 4 and 5 are schematic diagrams illustrating another two kinds of positional relationships between the information mark and the alignment mark according to the embodiment of the present invention, where in fig. 4, the size of the alignment mark 2 is larger than that of the non-recognition area 32, so that the embodiment of the present invention reduces the area of the substrate 1 occupied by the alignment mark 2 and the information mark 3 by covering the alignment mark 2 over the non-recognition area 32 of the information mark 3.
Alternatively, as shown in fig. 5, in the embodiment of the present invention, the identity information of the display panel may be recorded in all the information marks 3, that is, all the information marks 3 are the identification areas 31, and the non-identification area 32 is not provided, so as to increase the amount of information recordable by the information marks 3. At this time, referring to fig. 5, in the embodiment of the present invention, the edge of the alignment mark 2 and the edge of the information mark 3 may be attached to each other, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing the occupied areas of the alignment mark 2 and the information mark 3, and avoid affecting the accuracy of the identity information of the display panel recorded in the information mark 3.
With continued reference to fig. 1, the substrate 1 further includes a bonding region 10, the bonding region 10 includes a plurality of bonding pads 101, and a circuit board (not shown) is bonded to the substrate 1 through the bonding pads 101. When the display panel is in operation, signals provided by the circuit board are input to the respective pixels provided on the substrate 1 through the bonding pads 101, so that the display panel performs normal display.
Illustratively, as shown in fig. 1, the alignment marks 2 include a first alignment mark 21 and a second alignment mark 22; the first alignment mark 21 and the second alignment mark 22 are respectively arranged at two sides of the binding region 10 and are symmetrical about a symmetry axis of the binding region 10; wherein the second alignment mark 22 and the information mark 3 are located on the same side of the bonding area 10; the information mark 3 covers the second alignment mark 22. When the substrate 1 is bonded to a circuit board, the alignment marks disposed on the circuit board and the first alignment mark 21 and the second alignment mark 22 respectively disposed on two sides of the bonding region 10 are aligned, so as to improve the alignment accuracy between the circuit board and the substrate 1. In addition, in the embodiment of the present invention, the information mark 3 covers the second alignment mark 22, so that the occupied areas of the alignment mark 2 and the information mark 3 on the substrate 1 are reduced.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 1, the distance from the edge of the binding area 10 of the first alignment mark 21 to the symmetry axis of the binding area 10 is a first distance d 1; the distance of the edge of the information mark 3 remote from the binding area 10 from the axis of symmetry of the binding area 10 is a second distance d 2; the first distance d1 is equal to the second distance d 2. In the process of manufacturing the display panel, after the pixels and the circuit elements for driving the pixels are provided on the substrate, the blank positions in the substrate 1 are usually cut off in order to increase the screen ratio of the display panel. Thus, when the substrate 1 is cut on the side where the first alignment mark 21 is located and the side where the second alignment mark 22 is located according to the dotted line shown in fig. 1, the embodiment of the invention can reduce the difficulty of the cutting process by setting the first distance d1 and the second distance d2 to be equal, that is, setting the two cutting traces to be symmetrical about the symmetry axis of the bonding region 10.
When the display panel is manufactured, it is usually tested whether the display panel can work normally or not to prevent defective products from flowing into the market. The bonding pad 101 may be used to bond a circuit board for driving the display panel to normally operate, or may be used to bond a test circuit board for testing, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
Illustratively, as shown in fig. 1, the alignment mark 2 has a cross shape, and the information mark 3 has a rectangular shape. In the embodiment of the invention, the shape of the alignment mark 2 is set to be cross-shaped, so that four corners and the center of the cross-shaped can be used as reference objects for alignment when alignment setting is carried out, and the alignment precision is improved.
Fig. 6 is a schematic view of a display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the display device includes the display panel 100. The specific structure of the display panel 100 has been described in detail in the above embodiments, and is not described herein again. Of course, the display device shown in fig. 6 is only a schematic illustration, and the display device may be any electronic device with a display function, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, an electronic book, or a television.
According to the display device provided by the embodiment of the invention, the alignment mark is arranged on one side of the substrate of the display panel included in the display device, so that when the circuit board is bound and connected on the display panel subsequently, the circuit board and the substrate can be accurately aligned through the alignment mark, the circuit board can be accurately connected at the proper position of the display panel, and the alignment accuracy of the circuit board and the substrate is improved. In addition, according to the embodiment of the invention, the information mark is arranged on one side of the substrate, and the specification parameters of the display panel, the identity information of a manufacturer and the like are pre-stored in the information mark, so that different display panels can be identified through identifying the information mark, and the display panels can be conveniently and finely managed. On the basis, the information mark and the alignment mark are overlapped, so that the space occupied by the information mark and the alignment mark on the substrate can be reduced, and the phenomenon that the information mark and the alignment mark occupy a larger area of the substrate when the information mark and the alignment mark are separately arranged is avoided, so that more space in the substrate can be used for arranging pixel units, the size of a frame of the display panel is reduced, and the screen occupation ratio of the display device is improved.
The above description is only for the purpose of illustrating the preferred embodiments of the present invention and is not to be construed as limiting the invention, and any modifications, equivalents, improvements and the like made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the scope of the present invention.
