Abstract
The invention relates to a tooth body preparation guide plate design and manufacturing method without a needle limiter, which comprises the following steps: (1) scanning teeth and adjacent teeth needing tooth preparation; (2) designing the three-dimensional shape of the tooth preparation body by using three-dimensional reverse engineering software; (3) designing a guide groove capable of guiding the movement path of the dental lathe needle in the whole course on the guide plate according to the shape of the tooth preparation body in the step (2); (4) designing a retention clasp on adjacent teeth as a retention part of the guide plate; (5) the guide groove and the retention clamp ring are fused into integral data of the guide plate, and the integral data is processed into an entity by a three-dimensional printer; (6) after the guide plate is completely in place on the dentition model, an operator holds the dental high-speed handpiece to move along the guide groove of the guide plate, and the lower surface of the high-speed handpiece is tightly attached to the upper surface of the guide groove during movement. The invention can greatly reduce the over-high requirements of the needle limiter in the existing tooth preparation guide plate on the opening degree and the vertical operation space, simultaneously does not need a special needle, and is beneficial to popularization and application.

(5) the guide groove and the retention clamp ring are fused into integral data of the guide plate, and the guide plate is processed into a metal entity by a metal three-dimensional printer or numerical control processing equipment;
(6) after the guide plate is completely in place on the dentition model, an operator holds the dental high-speed handpiece to move along the guide groove of the guide plate, and the lower surface of the high-speed handpiece is tightly attached to the upper surface of the guide groove during movement, so that accurate tooth preparation in a corresponding area can be completed according to the expected designed tooth preparation amount.
