The streaming media playing module comprises a streaming media server which is set up for streaming media such as micro lessons, teaching videos and the like, and transmits video files to system terminal equipment by a streaming protocol (RTP/RTSP, MMS, RTMP and the like) so that a user can download and watch the files on line without waiting for the completion of downloading the whole files. And real-time video streams can be received from video acquisition and compression software and then are live broadcast to the client side through a streaming protocol. Continuous audio and video information may also be compressed and placed on a network server.
