Abstract
The invention relates to an engine cylinder drain valve mounting structure, which comprises a cylinder cover provided with a cooling water cavity, wherein a drain valve protection tube is arranged in the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover, the upper part of the drain valve protection tube is in sealing contact with the top wall of the cooling water cavity through an O-shaped sealing ring, the lower part of the drain valve protection tube passes through the top wall of the cooling water cavity to be in sealing contact with the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity, a drain valve is mounted in the drain valve protection tube, a valve rod of the drain valve passes through the drain valve protection tube to be fixedly connected with the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover and is fixedly connected with the drain valve protection tube through a locking gasket, and the valve rod of the drain valve is communicated with a combustion chamber below the cylinder cover. The beneficial effects of the invention are as follows: according to the invention, the drain valve on the cylinder cover is installed through the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover, so that the cooling problem of the drain valve is solved, and the working reliability and the service life of the drain valve are improved.

Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of engine part design, and mainly relates to an installation structure of an engine cylinder drain valve.
Background
When the submerged diesel engine is started, accumulated water exists in the combustion chamber, and a cylinder drain valve needs to be designed to be installed on the cylinder cover, so that the submerged diesel engine has the function of draining water of the cylinder before the diesel engine is started.
In the prior art, the cylinder drain valve is directly arranged on the cylinder cover, and the drain valve can be poor in cooling in working without passing through the cooling water cavity, so that the reliability is poor.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide an installation structure of a drain valve of an engine cylinder, which is based on the principle that a drain valve protection pipe is designed and installed in a cooling water cavity of a cylinder cover, and then the drain valve is installed in the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover, so that the defect of structural design in the prior art is overcome.
The invention adopts the following technical scheme: the engine cylinder drain valve mounting structure comprises a cylinder cover provided with a cooling water cavity, a drain valve protection tube is arranged in the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover, the upper part of the drain valve protection tube is in sealing contact with the top wall of the cooling water cavity through an O-shaped sealing ring, the lower part of the drain valve protection tube passes through the top wall of the cooling water cavity to be in sealing contact with the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity, a drain valve is arranged in the drain valve protection tube, and a locking gasket is arranged on a valve rod of the drain valve; a valve rod of the drain valve penetrates through the drain valve protection tube to be fixedly connected with the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity of the cylinder head and is tightly pressed and fixed by the locking gasket, and the valve rod of the drain valve is communicated with a combustion chamber below the cylinder head; the top wall of the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover is provided with a mounting through hole matched with the drain valve protection pipe, the mounting through hole is a cylindrical unthreaded hole, the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover is provided with a threaded through hole which is used for being in threaded connection with a drain valve rod of the drain valve and communicated with a combustion chamber below the cylinder cover, an orifice of the threaded through hole positioned in the cooling water cavity is provided with a conical sealing surface A, and the sealing cone angle alpha of the orifice is 55-60 degrees; the whole cylinder type pipe structure that is used for installing O type sealing washer that is provided with in its upper portion of drain valve protection tube, drain valve protection tube lower extreme set up to be with the sealed face B of toper that cooperates of toper sealed face A.
The number of the annular sealing grooves on the drain valve protection tube is two, and the cross sections of the annular sealing grooves are rectangular.
The O-shaped sealing ring adopts a standard rubber sealing ring.
The locking washer is made of 65Mn spring steel and is made of standard internal tooth or external tooth locking washers.
The sealing cone angle alpha is 56 degrees.
The drain valve protection tube is made of high-strength and high-toughness steel.
The beneficial effects of the invention are as follows: according to the invention, the drain valve on the cylinder cover is installed through the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover, so that the cooling problem of the drain valve is solved, the working reliability of the drain valve is improved, and the service life of the drain valve is prolonged; 2O-shaped sealing rings are arranged between the top wall of the cooling water cavity and the drain valve protection tube, the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity and the drain valve protection tube are sealed by conical surfaces, the drain valve is installed and positioned by threads and a locking gasket, and the drain valve protection tube is tightly pressed by the locking gasket when the threads are screwed, so that reliable contact of sealing conical surfaces is ensured, and the sealing between the drain valve protection tube and the cylinder head cooling water cavity is better solved; the drain valve protection tube adopts high-strength and high-toughness steel, ensures the deformation resistance in the working process, is favorable for maintaining the contact stress on the sealing surface, and improves the sealing reliability. The invention has simple structure and convenient disassembly and assembly, and can realize the installation and good sealing of the water discharge valve of the cylinder head of the underwater engine.

As shown in fig. 1, the installation structure of the engine cylinder drain valve comprises a cylinder cover 1 provided with a cooling water cavity, wherein a drain valve protection tube 3 is arranged in the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover 1, the upper part of the drain valve protection tube 3 is in sealing contact with the top wall of the cooling water cavity through an O-shaped sealing ring 5, the lower part of the drain valve protection tube 3 passes through the top wall of the cooling water cavity to be in sealing contact with the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity, a drain valve 2 is arranged in the drain valve protection tube 3, and a lock washer 4 is arranged on a valve rod of the drain valve; the valve rod of the drain valve 2 penetrates through the drain valve protection tube 3 to be fixedly connected with the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity of the cylinder head 1, and the drain valve protection tube 3 is pressed and fixed through the locking gasket 4, and the valve rod of the drain valve 2 is communicated with the combustion chamber below the cylinder head 1; the top wall of the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover 1 is provided with a mounting through hole 6 matched with the drain valve protection tube 3, the mounting through hole 6 is a cylindrical unthreaded hole, the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover 1 is provided with a threaded through hole 8 which is used for being in threaded connection with a valve rod of the drain valve 2 and communicated with a combustion chamber below the cylinder cover 1, an orifice of the threaded through hole 8 in the cooling water cavity is provided with a conical sealing surface A7, and the sealing cone angle alpha 11 of the orifice is 55-60 degrees; the whole cylinder type pipe structure that is used for installing O type sealing washer 5 is provided with to drain valve pillar 3 its upper portion, and drain valve pillar 3 lower extreme sets up to the toper sealed face B10 that cooperatees with toper sealed face A7.
The number of the annular sealing grooves 9 on the drain valve protection tube 3 is two, the cross sections of the annular sealing grooves are rectangular, and the sealing can be better ensured by the two sealing grooves.
The O-shaped sealing ring 5 is a standard rubber sealing ring.
The locking washer 4 is made of standard internal tooth or external tooth locking washers and 65Mn spring steel, so that good toughness is ensured.
The sealing cone angle alpha 11 is 56 degrees.
The drain valve protection tube 3 is made of high-strength and high-toughness steel. In the embodiment, 42CrMo is selected, so that the deformation resistance in the working process is ensured, the contact stress on the sealing surface is maintained, and the sealing reliability is improved.
The assembly method of the invention comprises the following steps: the method comprises the steps of smearing lubricating oil before mounting a drain valve protection tube 3, putting 2O-shaped sealing rings 5 into annular sealing grooves 9, inserting the O-shaped sealing rings into mounting through holes 6 on a cylinder cover 1, and enabling lower conical sealing surfaces B10 to be in contact with conical sealing surfaces A7 in threaded through holes 8 of a cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover 1; and the locking washer 4 is sleeved on a valve rod of the drain valve 2, the drain valve 2 is inserted into an inner hole of the drain valve protection tube 3 until the drain valve 2 is in contact with a threaded through hole 8 of a cooling water cavity of the cylinder head 1, threads are screwed, a certain torque is applied, and the drain valve protection tube 3 and the drain valve 2 are tightly pressed and fixed through the locking washer 4, so that the assembly is completed.

An engine cylinder drain valve mounting structure, characterized by: the cooling water cavity is formed in the cylinder cover, the upper part of the drain valve protection pipe is in sealing contact with the top wall of the cooling water cavity through an O-shaped sealing ring, the lower part of the drain valve protection pipe penetrates through the top wall of the cooling water cavity to be in sealing contact with the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity, a drain valve is arranged in the drain valve protection pipe, and a locking gasket is sleeved on a valve rod of the drain valve; a valve rod of the drain valve penetrates through the drain valve protection tube to be fixedly connected with the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity of the cylinder head and is tightly pressed and fixed by a locking gasket, and the valve rod of the drain valve is communicated with a combustion chamber below the cylinder head; the top wall of the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover is provided with a mounting through hole matched with the drain valve protection pipe, the mounting through hole is a cylindrical unthreaded hole, the bottom wall of the cooling water cavity of the cylinder cover is provided with a threaded through hole which is used for being in threaded connection with a drain valve rod of the drain valve and communicated with a combustion chamber below the cylinder cover, an orifice of the threaded through hole positioned in the cooling water cavity is provided with a conical sealing surface A, and the sealing cone angle alpha of the orifice is 55-60 degrees; the whole drain valve protection tube is of a cylindrical tube structure, an annular sealing groove for installing an O-shaped sealing ring is formed in the upper portion of the drain valve protection tube, and the lower end of the drain valve protection tube is provided with a conical sealing surface B matched with the conical sealing surface A; the number of the annular sealing grooves on the drain valve protection tube is two, and the cross sections of the annular sealing grooves are rectangular; the O-shaped sealing ring adopts a standard rubber sealing ring.
