Problems to be solved by the invention
The thicker the mattress thickness is, the more the user can sink, so that the contact area of the mattress and the body can be increased, and the pressure applied to the body can be reduced.
However, the increase in thickness of the mattress has the following problems: the bed rail loses relative height to the mattress and the risk of falling over the rails (side rails) of the bed side becomes high.
Further, in the mattress described in patent document 1, if the air bags are incorporated under the back and waist, there is a problem that the size of the air bags is not suitable for the body of the bed user.
In the mattress described in patent document 2, the thickness of the mattress can be suppressed and the back portion can be kept at a low pressure by increasing the pressure between the back portion and the thigh portion, thereby increasing the contact area, but there are the following problems: the contact area of the mattress in the long side direction is mainly increased, and the contact area and the stability in the short side direction cannot be increased.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above circumstances, the present invention is intended to provide a mattress device that can increase the contact area between the mattress and the body and increase the supporting force regardless of the size of the bed user by lifting both sides of the mattress in the short-side direction.

Detailed Description
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1 and 2 are explanatory views of a mattress device on which a mattress according to embodiment 1 of the present invention is mounted, and fig. 3 is an explanatory view of an operation of the mattress device according to embodiment 1, where (a) is an explanatory view when the support unit is contracted, and (b) is an explanatory view when the support unit is expanded. Fig. 4 is an explanatory view of a state where the back of the mattress device is raised and the support unit is expanded, and fig. 5 is an explanatory view of a distribution of body pressure values of the mattress device.
As shown in fig. 1, the mattress device according to embodiment 1 is configured such that a mattress 12 is placed on a top board 10, and a user (indicated by symbol "u") lies on the mattress 12. In this bed plate 10, a portion that supports the back, waist, and feet of a user lying on the mattress 12 from the head side to the foot side is referred to as: a back bed plate 10a, a waist bed plate 10b, a knee bed plate 10c and a foot bed plate 10 d.
The top board 10 is configured such that the back top board 10a is rotatably lifted (raised and lowered) around the waist top board 10 b. The back bed plate 10a is lifted and lowered in a state where a mattress 12 is placed on the bed plate 10. When the user lifts the back bed plate 10a while lying on the mattress 12, the support unit 18 described later expands, and the user's waist u1 can be reliably held.
The mattress 12 is an air mattress in which a plurality of hollow columnar air cells 12a are arranged and which is covered with a cover 14 from the front surface to the back surface thereof. A plurality of air cells 12a are arranged and fixed in the longitudinal direction of mattress 12 in a state where the longitudinal direction thereof is along the lateral direction (also referred to as the width direction) of mattress 12. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the head side-foot side (indicated by the symbols "H" to "F") of the mattress 12 is long, the longitudinal direction (indicated by the symbol "L"), and the width direction is short (indicated by the symbol "W"). Air cells 12a are disposed from the head side end to a position just before the position where pump body 16 is provided, and the length of air cells 12a in the short side direction is the same as that of mattress 12.
In the mattress 12, compressed air (an example of a fluid) is sent from the pump body 16 to the air cells 12a through the hose 16a to inflate the air cells 12a, while the air inside is extracted to deflate the air cells 12 a.
The pump body 16 includes an air compressor and a valve, and is disposed on one side in the short side direction of the foot side end portion, and the air cell 12a adjacent to the pump body 16 is formed shorter than the width of the pump body 16 in the short side direction of the mattress 12.
The air cells 12a are in the form of resin bags and are fixed to the inside of the cover 14 by not-shown loops and hooks.
Here, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, the mattress device is provided with a support unit 18 at a position surrounding a predetermined region of the mattress 12 between the top board 10 and the mattress 12 (corresponding to a lower portion of the mattress), and the support unit 18 can be expanded and contracted by supplying and discharging compressed air (an example of a fluid) from the pump body 16.
By supplying compressed air to the support unit 18, the mattress 12 can be deformed so as to protrude around the predetermined region.
More specifically, in embodiment 1, as shown in fig. 1 to 3, a predetermined region of the mattress 12 is defined as a region (an example of a corresponding region) 12b in which a user's waist (a user's hip when the upper half is raised) u1 is placed, and a pair of support units 18 are disposed at positions surrounding the region 12b on the lumbar mattress 10b, the pair of support units 18 being provided with a gap in the lateral direction (W) of the mattress.
In the state where the back is raised, before the compressed air is supplied, the support unit 18 is in a flat contracted state as shown in fig. 3 (a). The support unit 18 does not raise the mattress 12. The waist u1 of the user slightly sinks into the mattress 12 due to the weight, and in this state, the lower side of the waist u1 is not surrounded, and the retention is low.
On the other hand, when compressed air is supplied to the support unit 18 to inflate the support unit 18, as shown in fig. 3(b) and 4(a), the mattress 12 at both sides of the waist of the user is lifted (laterally lifted), and the contact area of the waist portion u1 increases in the lateral direction of the mattress 12.
In this way, since the supporting force in the short side direction of mattress 12 is increased, the support to the bottom surface of the user's body (such as buttocks) is enhanced, and the entire mattress 12 is depressed to increase the contact area. Therefore, the support can be performed deeper than in the case of no support unit 18.
The following effects are further obtained from the above effects.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 3(b), when the supporting unit 18 is inflated, the thickness D of the mattress 12 is 150mm, and the height h1 of the supporting unit 18 is 100 mm.
Even when compressed air is not supplied to the support unit 18, the waist portion u1 sinks to some extent as shown in fig. 3(a) in the mattress 12, but when compressed air is further supplied to the support unit 18, the mattress 12 rises to the side as shown in fig. 3(b) and 4(a), and can be supported so as to wrap the waist portion u 1.
Further, with reference to fig. 5, a description will be given of a detection result in which the contact area is increased by the lateral lift and the body pressure value (the magnitude of the pressure applied to the body) is decreased when the back is in the supine position or raised. For example, the contact area when not lifted is 29.3dm2The peak value of the body pressure value was 36.4mmHg, but the contact area was changed to 32.8dm 213% of the peak value of the body pressure value is changed into 29.8mmHg, and the peak value of the body pressure value is reduced by 16%. When the distribution of the body pressure values is observed, the pressure is distributed in a range from the buttocks to the back as shown in fig. 5(a) when the body pressure value is not raised, but the pressure is distributed in a wide range on which the buttocks are placed as shown in fig. 5(b) when the body pressure value is raised.
And, because the side rises, both sides of the buttocks are surrounded, thus increasing the stability when lifting the back, increasing the angle that can support the body. Specifically, when the support means performs the side lift, as shown in fig. 4(b) and (c), the maximum angle from the vertical direction for keeping the body of the user from falling is measured, and it is found that the angle is 22 ° when the body is not lifted, and is increased to 29 ° by the side lift.
In addition, since the periphery of the body is lifted up by the expansion of the support unit 18, not by the way of sinking, relative to the mattress 12, displacement due to sinking when lifting the back is less likely to occur.
In addition, in the supine position and when lifting the back, the positioning pillows on both sides of the hip which are placed on the mattress in the prior positioning are not needed.
In the supine position or when the back is raised, the support unit 18 incorporated between the mattress 12 and the bed plate 10 does not cause a positional deviation as in the conventional positioning pillow.
Further, by reading the angle information of the bed, the support unit 18 is expanded to a hardness and a size corresponding to the angle, and an optimum posture can be obtained.
Further, by reading the height information of the bed, the support unit 18 is expanded to a hardness and a size corresponding to the height, and can be wrapped in a low position at the bed height or a high position at the bed height.
Since the support unit 18 is expanded at the lower surface of the mattress 12, the contact area can be increased regardless of the size of the user.
Further, the stability when sitting upright can be improved by the support unit 18 expanding harder.
Conventionally, the contact position between the body of the user and the mattress 12 is changed only in the longitudinal direction of the bed, and the contact position can be changed in the lateral direction by expansion and contraction of the support unit 18.
Thus, it can be understood that: the contact area of the waist (back, etc.) is enlarged, the body pressure value is reduced, and the body pressure is dispersed.
The support unit 18 can also be inflated only on one side in accordance with the physical condition of the user such as atrophy of the lower limbs, or the condition of food intake care.
The size and hardness of the support unit 18 can be changed according to the body information such as the body pressure value, whether or not atrophy occurs, and the time, in addition to the angle information and the height information of the bed.
Next, a mattress device according to embodiment 2 will be described with reference to fig. 6.
As shown in fig. 6, the mattress device is arranged such that a substantially コ -shaped support unit 18 is formed at a position surrounding a region of the mattress 12 corresponding to the waist u1 of the user.
Specifically, the supporting unit 18 includes: a portion 18a disposed on both sides in the lateral direction of the mattress with the waist portion u1 of the user u interposed therebetween, and a portion 18b disposed under the knee so as to connect the foot-side ends of the portion 18 a. These portions communicate with the air passage, but may be independent of each other and connected by a hose 16a, and compressed air may be supplied from the hose 16 a.
According to embodiment 2, the support unit 18 is disposed in the under-knee portion 18b, and the under-knee portion 18b functions as a lumbar barrier when the back is raised, thereby further preventing the user from shifting in the foot direction.
The rest is the same as embodiment 1.
Next, a mattress device according to embodiment 3 will be described with reference to fig. 7.
As shown in fig. 7, the mattress device is arranged such that a substantially square-shaped support unit 18 is formed at a position surrounding a region of the mattress 12 corresponding to the waist u1 of the user.
Specifically, the supporting unit 18 includes: a portion 18a disposed on both sides in the lateral direction of the mattress with the waist portion u1 of the user u interposed therebetween, and portions 18b and 18c disposed below the knees and on the back side of the waist so as to connect the foot-side end and the head-side end of the portion 18 a.
According to embodiment 3, the support unit 18 is disposed in the under-knee portion 18b and the hip back side, and serves as a barrier surrounding the waist in the four directions when the back is raised, thereby further preventing the user from being dislocated.
The rest is the same as embodiment 2.
Next, a mattress device according to embodiment 4 will be described with reference to fig. 8.
As shown in fig. 8, this mattress device is arranged such that support units 18 having a substantially splayed shape are formed at both ends in the lateral direction of the mattress 12 at positions surrounding the region of the mattress 12 corresponding to the user's waist u 1.
Specifically, a pair of support units 18 are disposed on both sides of the mattress in the short-side direction with the waist portion u1 of the user u interposed therebetween, and the pair of support units 18 are each disposed obliquely in a splayed shape with respect to the longitudinal direction of the mattress 12.
According to embodiment 4, the support unit 18 is close to the hip on the foot side, and therefore, it acts as a barrier for the waist when the back is raised, and it is possible to prevent the user from being dislocated.
The rest is the same as embodiment 1.
Next, a mattress device according to embodiment 5 will be described with reference to fig. 9.
As shown in fig. 9, in this mattress device, a pair of support units 18 are disposed in parallel at both ends in the lateral direction of the mattress 12 at positions surrounding a region of the mattress 12 corresponding to the back u2 to the waist u1 of the user.
According to embodiment 5, since the support unit 18 is located closer to the head, it serves as a barrier for supporting the back from the left and right sides when the user lies down, and the upper body of the user can be prevented from being displaced.
The rest is the same as embodiment 1.
Next, a mattress device according to embodiment 6 will be described with reference to fig. 10.
As shown in fig. 10, the mattress 12 of the mattress device is made of a cushioning material such as polyurethane (e.g., flexible polyurethane foam), and the outer surface of the cushioning material is covered with a cover. As in embodiment 1, support units 18 are disposed at both ends in the lateral direction of the mattress 12 at positions surrounding the region of the mattress 12 corresponding to the waist of the user.
According to embodiment 6, mattress 12 is not configured such that a plurality of air cells are arranged as in embodiment 1, but is an integrated cushioning material, and does not require a pump body, a hose, or the like, and is simple in structure.
The rest is the same as embodiment 1.
Next, a mattress device according to embodiment 7 will be described with reference to fig. 11.

The cover body 12d made of special polyurethane is deformed by the supporting unit 18 installed in the polyurethane frame 12c, thereby having a supporting capability. By changing the hardness of the special polyurethane of the covering body 12d, displacement to the foot side or the like can be prevented.
The rest is the same as embodiment 1.
Next, a mattress device according to embodiment 8 will be described with reference to fig. 12.
As shown in fig. 12, the mattress 12 of this mattress device is a polyurethane frame 12c having a rectangular hole 12c1 in the center, and a pair of support units 18 are arranged in the hole 12c1 with a gap in the lateral direction of the mattress 12, and a cover 20 formed by arranging a plurality of air cells covers (covers) the pair of support units 18 from above.
The air unit of the cover body 20 is deformed by the supporting unit 18 installed in the urethane frame 12c, thereby having a supporting capability. By changing the internal pressure of the air cells of cover 20, displacement to the foot side or the like can be prevented.
The rest is the same as embodiment 1.
