With the development of display technology, manufacturers apply the liquid crystal display technology to the design of article display, and use the transparent glass of the outer layer as the transparent display panel. The article display device with the design can display the related information of the article by the transparent display panel, but the problem that the image picture on the transparent display panel is overlapped with the shell background, the light source or the article exists, the contrast of the article display device is easily reduced by the change of the ambient light on the transparent display panel, the presented image information and the presented image quality are not good, and the application field of the article display device is greatly limited. Based on the current trend and the technical expansion, the application provides a newly designed article display device.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the above technical problem, the present application provides an article display device, which includes a housing and a display unit. The housing has a plurality of sides and a back, the sides and the back forming a housing interior for placement of items. The display unit is arranged opposite to the back face and sleeved with the shell, and comprises a first display area and a second display area, wherein the first display area is a transparent display area, and the second display area is an image display area. Detailed Description
The following description will be made with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application.
Referring to fig. 1 to 2, the present application provides an article display apparatus 10, which includes a housing 100 and a display unit 200. The housing 100 has a plurality of side surfaces 110 and a back surface 120, and the housing 100 defines a housing interior and a housing exterior, wherein the housing interior can be used for placing objects (not shown). As shown in fig. 1, the display unit 200 is disposed opposite to the housing back surface 120 and is sleeved with the housing 100, that is, the display unit 200 can be regarded as one surface of the housing 100. The display unit 200 includes a first display region 210 and a second display region 220. A backlight unit 225 is disposed on a surface of the second display area 220 of the display unit opposite to the back surface 120, and the backlight unit 225 provides light to the second display area 220, so that the second display area 220 and the backlight unit 225 are matched to form a display device (module) to present a high-quality image, and a viewer obtains image information from the display device. The first display area 210 is a transparent display area, so that an observer can see the internal structure of the article display apparatus 10 and articles placed inside the article display apparatus through the first display area 210, and can also directly see image information on the first display area 210; the second display area 220 is an image display area, which is not transparent to the inside of the housing and is not affected by the ambient light, so that the viewer can enjoy high-quality image information on the second display area 220.
In one embodiment, the first display area 210 is located in the middle of the display unit 200, and the second display area 220 is located around the first display area 210. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the second display region 220 is located on the left and right sides of the first display region 210; as shown in fig. 3, the article display device 20 has the second display area 220 located at the upper and lower sides of the first display area 210. The area ratio of the first display area 210 to the second display area 220 is determined according to the requirement, and is not limited.
In one embodiment, the article display 10 of the present application includes at least two sides, i.e., the article display 10 includes at least two sides, a back, and a display unit. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the article display device 10 of the present application is exemplified by four side surfaces, that is, the article display device 10 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape as a whole. Wherein the side and back of the article display device are relatively different sides; the back surface 120 facing the display unit may be a background surface or a main background surface of the article viewed by the viewer through the display unit (if the viewing angle is such that the background is two or more, a surface defining a large display range is the back surface), and the back surface and the side surface may be replaced with each other according to the difference in the setting position and angle.
In one embodiment, the article display apparatus 10 further comprises a light bar 130, which may be a light source such as a light emitting diode light bar or a fluorescent light bar capable of illuminating the interior of the housing and the first display area 210; for example, each light bar may include a plurality of leds disposed on a circuit board. The light bar 130 is disposed at an edge of the side surface 110 of the housing, or at a corner between the side surface 110 and the back surface 120 and the second display area 220, for example, at a corner between the side surfaces 110, wherein the light bar 130 is used for providing a light source to the inside of the housing to illuminate the object and the first display area 210. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the light bars 130 are illustrated as four bars, which are respectively disposed at the corners between the four sides.
In an embodiment, the side surface 110 and the back surface 120 of the housing are reflective surfaces capable of reflecting light to reflect the light emitted from the light bar 130 to the interior of the housing and the first display area 210. The light intensity in the shell can be enhanced through the structure of the reflecting surface; on the other hand, the cooperation between the reflective surface and the light bar can be used as the backlight of the first display region 210, and the light emitted from the light bar 130 is irradiated onto the reflective surface, and after one or more reflections, the light is reflected by the reflective surface onto the first display region 210, so that the viewer can see the image information on the first display region 210 and the objects inside the housing clearly by the reflected light. A surface of the backlight unit 225 close to the back surface 120 (i.e., facing the inside of the housing) may also be a reflective surface to further reflect the light emitted from the light bar 130. In this regard, the article display device 10 may include a light diffuser (not shown) disposed on a surface of the first display area 210 facing the inside of the housing, and the light emitted from the light bar 130 or the light reflected from the reflective surface is uniformly scattered to the first display area 210 through the light diffuser.
In one embodiment, the light bar 130 is located between the second display area 220 and the back surface 120. The light bar 130 with such a structure is difficult or invisible for the viewer through the first display region 210, so that the information viewed by the viewer through the display unit 200 can be simplified.
In an embodiment, the article display apparatus 10 further includes a control unit (not shown), and the control unit may be disposed on the side surface 110 of the housing, or on the backlight unit 225, or disposed at a corner between the side surface 110 and the second display area 220, or disposed outside the housing. The control unit is connected to the light bar 130, the display unit 200 and the backlight unit 225, outputs data to the first display area 210 and the second display area 220, and controls the backlight unit 225 and the light bar 130 to be turned on and off. The control unit may include different control modules to control the information presentation of the first display area 210 and the second display area 220, respectively.
In one embodiment, the article display apparatus 10 further comprises a light sensing unit (not shown). The light sensing unit is connected with the control unit and used for sensing the brightness inside the shell and transmitting the brightness to the control unit. The control unit adjusts the brightness of the light bar 130 according to the brightness inside the housing, and controls the brightness output from the backlight unit 225 to the second display area 220 to adjust the brightness of the finally presented image. The information such as light intensity of the image pictures displayed on the first display area 210 and the second display area 220 can be coordinated and unified with the information such as light intensity inside the shell; it may also be to highlight relevant information on the first display area 210 or the second display area 220 or to highlight items inside the housing. Since the second display area 220 has the backlight unit 225 adapted thereto, the quality of the image picture presented by the second display area 220 is higher; for example, after the brightness of the light bar 130 is dimmed, the viewer can more easily capture the related information on the second display area through the contrast between the bright and dark areas; and vice versa.
In one embodiment, since the display unit of the article display apparatus 10 includes the transmissive first display region 210, a rotating structure (not shown) such as a rotating platform may be disposed on the surface (of the housing) on which the article is placed, and the control unit is connected to and controls the rotating platform on which the article is placed; when the light bar 130 is turned on, the control unit controls the rotating platform and the object to rotate, so that the viewer can enjoy the object at multiple angles, and the light reflected by the object can be balanced, for example, strong light is reflected at a certain angle, thereby avoiding discomfort of the viewer.
In an embodiment, the display unit 200 may include a plurality of display panels, and the first display area 210 and the second display area 220 are defined by the plurality of display panels. Or, the display unit 200 may also be configured to drive an entire display panel by the control unit in different regions to define the first display region 210 and the second display region 220, for example, the first display region is driven by a first control module, the second display region is driven by a second control module, and a backlight unit is disposed behind the second display region, so that the region is a display device that is not affected by ambient light, where at a boundary between the first display region and the second display region, the boundary may be designed to be a normal non-display region to distinguish the first display region from the second display region, and light leakage may be prevented. Further, the control unit may include a gate/source driving chip, and the first display region and the second display region are driven by different source driving chips. The first display area 210 or the second display area 220 may be a flat display panel or a curved display panel, and the display panels illustrated in fig. 1 to 3 are flat display panels, but not limited thereto.
In an embodiment, the display unit 200 may be, for example, an LCD display panel such as an IPS display panel, a VA display panel, or an MVA display panel, or a self-emitting display panel such as an OLED display panel, a W-OLED display panel, or a touch panel based on the above display panels. For example, the first display region 210 may be an LCD display panel, the second display region 220 may be an OLED display panel, and since the second display region 220 is a non-transmissive region, the display unit may be lighter and have higher display quality by the OLED display panel.
In one embodiment, the plurality of sides 110, the back 120, and the display unit 200 of the housing are detachably connected, and the housing is used for placing the object therein. Wherein the item is located between the first display area 210 and the back side 120. However, the housing 100 may have one side surface 110 (or at least one side surface 110) detachably connected to the other side surfaces, the back surface 120 and the display unit 200, and the other side surfaces may be fixedly connected to the display unit 200 and the back surface 120 by glass cement, hinges, bolts, rivets, or the like. In one embodiment, in order to increase the transmittance of the first display region 210 in the display unit 200, the display unit 200 may be regarded as a surface of the housing 100 and sleeved with the housing. However, the housing 100 may include a transparent display surface, the transparent display surface is disposed opposite to the back surface, an object is disposed between the transparent display surface and the back surface, and the display unit 200 is disposed between the transparent display surface and the back surface; alternatively, the housing 100 may include two transparent display surfaces, the transparent display surfaces are disposed opposite to the back surface, and the display unit 200 may be disposed between the two transparent display surfaces. The transparent display surface is made of tempered glass or other types of materials to protect the display unit 200 from being scratched or damaged.
Fig. 4 is a schematic view of an article display device according to an embodiment of the present application. Referring to fig. 1 to 4, an article display device 30, which is substantially the same as the article display device (10, 20), includes a housing 100 and a display unit 200 formed by splicing a plurality of display panels. The display unit 200 includes a first display area 210 and a second display area 220, wherein the first display area 210 is a planar display panel, and the second display area 220 includes two curved display panels respectively disposed at two sides of the planar display panel. The light bar 130 is disposed between the curved display panel and the back surface. Through curved surface display panel, the display area of second display area is bigger, under the prerequisite of the same size article display device, it can present more image information. And the appreciator can see the image information of the second display area under different visual angles without being limited to the visual angle just facing the first display area to enjoy the image information. In addition, the curved display panel can be more prominent in the middle of the flat display panel, and because two edges are lacked, the curved display panel is not easy to damage and scratch the viewer. Further, the curved display panel may be an OLED display panel.
In one embodiment, the curved display panel may be tangent to the flat display panel such that there is a coplanar transition between the two, thereby improving the visual experience of the viewer.
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, the present application provides an article display device 40, which is substantially the same as the article display device (10, 20, 30), and includes a housing 100 and a display unit 200, wherein the housing 100 includes three side surfaces and a back surface, and the display unit is sleeved with the side surfaces and the back surface. The light bar (not shown) can be disposed at the corner between the second display region and the adjacent surface thereof. As shown in fig. 5, the article display device 40 is shown as a prism, which is horizontally disposed on the whole, and the article display device 40 of this design may be disposed on a wall, embedded in a wall, or placed on a display stand.
In one embodiment, the article display device 40 of this design has a relatively small interior space of the housing, but the area of the display unit is larger than that of the other surfaces, so that the article display device is suitable for small-sized articles. The light emitted by the light bar is reflected by the back surface (i.e. the horizontal surface shown in fig. 6) and the side surface adjacent to the back surface, i.e. the light can be irradiated to the first display area, and the optical path of the light bar is short compared to the article display device (10, 20, 30), so that the article display device 40 designed in this way does not need a light bar with too strong power to provide a good display effect in the first display area.
As shown in fig. 6, the article display device 50 is substantially the same as the article display device 40, and the display unit 200 of the article display device 50 is a plurality of curved display panels that are tiled, each having the same or substantially the same curvature. The shell can present more information, can magnify articles arranged in the shell to a certain extent, and has better transmission (perspective) effect, so that an observer can more clearly appreciate the detailed structure of the articles.

The article display device of claim 1, further comprising a light bar disposed at an edge of a side of the housing or at a corner between the side and the back and the second display area, the light bar configured to provide a light source to the interior of the housing and the first display area.
3. The article display apparatus of claim 2, wherein the side and back surfaces of the housing are reflective surfaces, and light emitted from the light bar is directed onto the reflective surfaces and reflected into the interior of the housing and the first display area.

The article display device of claim 3, further comprising a control unit disposed on a side of the housing or on the backlight unit, wherein the control unit is connected to the light bar, the display unit and the backlight unit, and outputs data to the first display area and the second display area and controls the backlight unit and the light bar to be turned on and off.

The article display device as claimed in claim 4, further comprising a light sensing unit connected to the control unit, wherein the light sensing unit is configured to sense the brightness inside the housing and transmit the sensed brightness to the control unit, and the control unit adjusts the brightness of the light bar and the brightness output by the backlight unit to the second display area according to the brightness inside the housing.

The article display apparatus of claim 5, further comprising a rotary platform, wherein the control unit is connected to and controls the rotary platform, and wherein the article is placed on the rotary platform; when the light bar is opened, the control unit controls the rotating platform and the object to rotate.
7. The article display apparatus of claim 4, wherein the display unit comprises a plurality of display panels that are tiled and the first display area and the second display area are defined by the plurality of display panels, and the control unit controls and outputs data to the display panels.
8. The article display of claim 7, further comprising a diffuser on a side of the first display area facing the interior of the housing; through the light diffuser, the light emitted by the light bar or the light reflected by the reflecting surface is uniformly scattered to the first display area.
9. The article display apparatus of claim 8, wherein the first display area is located in the middle of the display unit and the second display area is located around the first display area, wherein the article is located between the first display area and the back surface.
10. The article display apparatus of claim 9, wherein at least one of the plurality of sides of the housing is removably attachable to the other of the side, the back, and the display unit for insertion or removal of the article.
