Description

Cooling device with lighting element
Technical Field
The invention relates to a cooling device with a lighting element, in particular a domestic refrigerator, freezer or a combination thereof.
Background
The cooling device has a body with thermal insulation and in which the food that is desired to be cooled and stored is placed. Generally, the cooling device has an illumination element that is activated when a door covering the body is opened. A plurality of lighting elements are provided and the interior space of the body is substantially illuminated. Typically, the lighting elements are arranged on the side walls. This results in insufficient illumination of the door shelves and drawers.
In application WO2007128627, a household appliance is disclosed, which comprises at least one drawer and/or door, on the front cover of which a handle element is provided, which is equipped with at least one illuminating body. When the drawer or the door is closed, the at least one illuminating body which can be switched on and off by means of the control device illuminates outwards in the region of the handle element, while the interior of the drawer or the interior close to the door is illuminated in the open position of the drawer by means of the at least one illuminating body, so that the interior is clearly visible even in poor lighting conditions.
Disclosure of Invention
It is an object of the present invention to provide a cooling device in which all storage areas within the body can be illuminated effectively.
The invention relates to a cooling device having a body, at least one door hinged to the body and at least one storage element. Accordingly, the cooling device of the present invention comprises: at least one diffuser extending at least partially along at least one section of the storage; and at least one lighting element disposed proximate to at least one end of the diffuser when the storage member is in place in the cooling device. Thus, by means of a single lighting element, the storage element and the vicinity of the storage element are illuminated. In addition, the illumination of the storage element can be facilitated in that it does not have electrical or electronic structural features thereon, such as cables, circuit boards, light-emitting lighting elements, and the like.
In this case, the storage member may be an object having a depth, and thus having a space for storing the object therein.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, the storage member is a drawer. Thus, due to the depth of the drawer, a relatively dark space compared to other parts of the cooling device may be illuminated. In one possible embodiment of the invention, the diffuser is arranged on the handle of the drawer. Thus, the illumination element may illuminate the handle and may increase the visibility of the handle by the user, which facilitates the user's grip on the handle.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, the lighting elements are disposed on the sidewalls of the body in alignment with the ends of the diffuser. Thus, the power cable inside the body may be used to provide power to the lighting element. At the same time, the light can be transmitted to the storage member without any physical bridges (e.g., cables, electrical contacts, etc.).
In one possible embodiment of the invention, at least one drawer side wall of the drawer arranged in the vicinity of the side wall is configured to: the height of the drawer side walls is reduced while extending away from the handle. Thus, when the drawer is extracted from the body and opened, it is avoided that the sides of the drawer cover the front of the lighting element. By virtue thereof, with the single illumination element, the handle is illuminated when the drawer is in the pushed-in position, and the interior space of the drawer is illuminated when the drawer is in the pulled-out position.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, the drawer side wall comprises at least one step which reduces the height of the drawer side wall. Thus, although the side of the step near the handle may cover the front of the lighting element, when the drawer is pulled outward more, the front of the lighting element is not covered and the interior space of the drawer is illuminated.
The lighting element may illuminate the interior of the drawer when the drawer is pulled out at least until the height of the drawer side wall is less than a section of the handle height. In one possible embodiment of the invention, the storage member may be a door compartment. In such a storage member, the diffuser may extend along at least one edge of the door compartment. Thus, a single lighting element may illuminate the storage compartment.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, the lighting element disposed near one end of the diffuser is disposed in an inner panel of the door. Thus, the lighting element is powered without the need to mount a power cable to the door grid.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, at least one diffuser plate is provided, which at least partially covers the lighting element. Therefore, the light of the illumination element is emitted to a wider area.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, the lighting element comprises a plurality of light sources. Thus, the lighting element emits light through more than one point. Furthermore, both the handle and the inside of the body are illuminated by means of the same lighting element.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, the diffuser plate comprises at least one transparent area, which is arranged in the same direction as the light source arranged in the direction of the diffuser. Therefore, the light of at least one of the light sources passes through the transparent region and proceeds without being scattered by the scattering plate. By virtue thereof, when the drawer is in the closed position, the light of the light source reaches the diffuser, and when the drawer is brought to the open position, the light of the light source is transmitted directly into the drawer.

Detailed Description
In the detailed description, the cooling device 10 of the present invention is described with reference to examples, without forming any restrictive effect, only for the purpose of making the invention easier to understand.
Referring to fig. 1, the cooling device 10 of the present invention has a body 11 and at least one door 13 hinged to the body 11.
Referring to fig. 2, at least one storage member 30 is provided on the cooling device 10 of the present invention. At least one diffuser 32 is provided on at least one section 31 of the storage element 30. The diffuser 32 extends at least partially along the section 31. In one possible embodiment of the invention, the diffuser 32 extends along the section 31. At least one lighting element 20 is disposed adjacent an end of the diffuser 32. In one possible embodiment of the invention, the lighting elements 20 may be disposed near both ends of the diffuser 32. The light rays 211 of the lighting element 20 are scattered along the diffuser 32 and at least partially illuminate the section 31 and/or the storage element 30.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, as shown in fig. 3, the storage member 30 is a door compartment 40. The door grid 40 has a base 41. The base 41 is connected to the inner panel 14 of the door 13 from one side. Furthermore, there are lattice walls 42 extending at least partially along the other sides of the base 41. Thus, in one possible embodiment of the invention, the section 31 is the portion of the base 41 that meets the grid wall 42, or is the upper edge of the grid wall 42. In other words, the diffuser 32 extends at least partially along one or more edges of the cell walls 42. At least one end portion of the diffuser 32 extends to a portion of the door 13 located near the inner panel 14. The lighting elements 20 are disposed adjacent to the diffuser 32 on the inner panel 14. Thus, when the lighting element is on, the light of the lighting element 20 is diffused along the diffuser 32 and illuminates the door compartment 40, in other words, it illuminates the storage element 30.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, as shown in fig. 4 and 5, the storage member 30 is a drawer 50. The closed position of the drawer 50 is shown in fig. 3, and the open position of the drawer 50 is shown in fig. 4. The drawer 50 has a drawer base 51 and a front wall 52, a rear wall 53 and two drawer side walls 54 surrounding the drawer base 51. In one possible embodiment of the invention, the upper edge of the front wall 52 of the drawer 50 is defined as the section 31 where the diffuser 32 is located. Meanwhile, section 31 is disposed inside of handle 56 portion of drawer 50. In other words, the diffuser 32 extends at least partially inside the handle 56 of the drawer 50. The lighting element 20 is disposed on the sidewall 12 of the body 11 proximate at least one end of the diffuser 32. Thus, the light of the lighting element 20 aligned with one end of the diffuser 32 is diffused along the diffuser 32 and illuminates the section 31 of the drawer 50 and therefore the handle 56.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, drawer side walls 54 have a step 55 that reduces the depth of drawer 50 from the side of handle 56 toward rear wall 53. In other words, the height of the drawer side wall 54 is larger on the handle 56 side, and is smaller on the rear wall 53 side than on the handle 56 side. Thus, when the drawer 50 is in the closed position and the lighting element 20 is flush with the handle 56, the drawer side wall 54 is prevented from obscuring the front of the lighting element 20 when the drawer 50 is pulled outwardly. In other words, the lighting element 20 illuminates the handle 56 when the drawer 50 is in the closed position, and light is provided to the inside of the drawer 50 when the drawer 50 is brought to the open position. Thus, when the drawer 50 is in the closed position, the handle 56 becomes more visible through the single lighting element 20, and when the drawer 50 is in the open position, the inside of the drawer 50 becomes more visible.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, as shown in fig. 6, the lighting element 20 has a plurality of light sources 21. The upper side of the lighting element 20 is closed by a diffuser plate 22. Therefore, the light of the light source 21 is scattered to a wider area. At least one of the light sources 21 is disposed at the same height level as compared with the diffuser 32 disposed on the drawer 50. The portion of the diffuser plate 22 disposed in front of the light source 21 aligned with the diffuser 32 is defined as a transparent area 23. In other words, the light of the light source 21 adjacent to the diffuser 32 reaches the diffuser 32 without being diffused by the diffusion plate 22. With the described embodiment, the lighting element 20 can illuminate the handle 56 and the inside of the body 11, as the drawer 50 is closed. When the drawer 50 is brought to the open position, light passing through the transparent area 23 reaches directly into the drawer 50. Thus, the inside of the drawer 50 is illuminated in an efficient manner.
In a possible embodiment of the invention, the diffuser 32 may be arranged in different cross-sections. By means of this, lighting objects with different visual effects can be obtained and visual richness is provided. In addition, various visual effects may be created by different diffuser 32 designs.
In one possible embodiment of the invention, a point LED may be used as the lighting element 20. Thus, especially the inner side of the drawer 50 can be illuminated in a more efficient manner.
In the cooling device 10 of the present invention, uniform illumination is provided for the storage member 30. By means of this, sufficient illumination can be provided for cooling applications using a camera.
