The switching mechanism of the top shower head according to the present invention is not limited to the switching mechanism provided with the elastic membrane, and other conventional switching mechanisms that use the automatic ball point pen switching principle to switch the water channel and provide the switching force required for switching the water channel by the action of the water flow may be used.

a water diversion channel is arranged in the water diversion valve core, the water inlet end of the water diversion channel is communicated with the water inlet interface, and the knob drives the water diversion valve core to rotate so that the water outlet end of the water diversion channel is selectively communicated with the first water outlet interface and the second water outlet interface; the switching control assembly comprises a push rod, a button and a push rod reset spring, one end of the push rod movably penetrates through the water diversion channel of the water diversion valve core, the other end of the push rod is connected with the button, the push rod reset spring is arranged between the button and the water diversion valve core, and the push rod moves along the rotating axial direction of the water diversion valve core under the drive of the button and the push rod reset spring so as to open and close the water diversion channel.
