Furthermore, in the following detailed description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a better understanding of the present disclosure. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the present disclosure may be practiced without some of these specific details. In some instances, methods, means, elements and circuits that are well known to those skilled in the art have not been described in detail so as not to obscure the present disclosure.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a subtitle display method according to an exemplary embodiment. The method can be applied to a server. As shown in fig. 1, a subtitle display method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes:
in step S101, a play request for a target video sent by a terminal is received;
detecting whether a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video exists in step S102;
in step S103, when the reference video exists, determining, for the first video segment, a first subtitle content of the first video segment according to a reference subtitle content of the reference video;
in step S104, the terminal is controlled to display the first subtitle content during the process of playing the first video segment.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, a playing request sent by a terminal can be received, whether a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of a target video exists or not is detected, the first subtitle content of the first video segment is determined according to the detected reference subtitle content of the reference video, and the terminal is controlled to display the first subtitle content in the process of playing the first video segment, so that the watching requirement of a user on subtitles is met.
In an exemplary application scenario, a user wishes to view a target video, which may, however, itself be a target video without subtitle content and for which it is difficult for the user to understand the video content. For example, the audio of the target video without the subtitle content is in a non-native language. In the related art, even if the user is interested in the target video, the user cannot understand the content of the target video.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the server may determine, by detecting whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video, and when it is determined that there is a reference video, for the first video segment, according to reference subtitle content (for example, a produced native language type subtitle) of the reference video, first subtitle content of the first video segment is determined, and the user terminal is controlled to display the first video content during playing of the target video. Therefore, the method can assist the user in understanding the content of the target video and meet the watching requirement of the user on the subtitles.
The target video may be various videos that can be watched by the user, for example, the videos are distinguished from video sources, and the target video may be user original content ugc (user Generated content), for example, various videos that are photographed by any user, captured from an existing sharable video resource, or created by splicing photographed or captured videos. The target video may also be professional Generated content pgc (professional Generated content), for example, professionally produced video content with characteristics of content personalization, view diversification, democratization. From the distinction of the video length, the target video can be various videos such as a long video, a short video and the like. The target video may be any video that can be viewed by the user, and the present disclosure does not limit this.
The reference video may be a video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video. For example, the target video may be divided into one or more video clips, for example, a target video is a 10-minute video spliced according to a 5-minute video clip shot by the user and a 5-minute video clip captured from an existing sharable movie. The existing sharable movie may be a video corresponding to at least one first video clip (a 5 minute length of video clip intercepted) of the target video. The reference subtitle content of the reference video may refer to subtitle content of at least one video segment of the reference video. It should be understood that the reference video may be one or more, the reference video may be various videos such as a movie, a tv show, a cartoon, etc., and the present disclosure does not limit the number of the reference videos, the form and content of the reference subtitle content, etc.
As shown in fig. 1, in step S101, a play request for a target video transmitted by a terminal is received.
For example, the user wishes to play a target video a, for example, through their terminal (e.g., cell phone). The mobile phone can send a play request for the target video a to the server. The server receives a playing request aiming at the target video A sent by the mobile phone of the user.
As shown in fig. 1, in step S102, it is detected whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video.
It should be understood that the server may detect whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video before or while receiving a play request for the target video a sent by the user handset. For example, the server may detect whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video a when storing the target video a. The server may also detect whether a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video a exists or not when a play request for the target video a sent by the user terminal is received.
Wherein, the server can detect whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video a in various ways.
For example, the target video a may have information such as a video identifier indicating its source, and the server may detect whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video a according to such information. For example, based on the above information, the source of the target video a is determined, and the presence of the reference video is determined. For example, the target video a is a video clip in a certain movie B, and the target video a may have a video clip indicating that it is originated from the movie B and obtained for intercepting the 5 th minute to the 10 th minute of the movie B (e.g., may be determined by information such as a video timestamp). In this way, the server may detect the presence of a reference video (movie B) corresponding to at least one video segment of the target video a.
Alternatively, the server may perform feature recognition on the target video, and determine feature information of the target video, for example, determine various kinds of feature information such as actor information, dialog content, episode, picture information, and scene information appearing in the target video. The server may detect whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video a according to the determined feature information.
For example, the determined feature information may be matched with feature information of various types of video resources that are already disclosed, so as to determine whether a reference video exists. For example, one feature information (e.g., picture information) that the server determines that the target video a starts is: the male and female principals sit on the ferris wheel, actor Y, and actor Z. The server can determine whether the various video resources disclosed now contain the same characteristic information. If movie B is present, it contains such a frame and the time is 5 minutes. The server may determine that there is a reference video (movie B) corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video a.
It should be understood that the server may detect whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video a in various ways, and the present disclosure does not limit the detection way.
As shown in fig. 1, in step S103, when the reference video exists, for the first video segment, the first subtitle content of the first video segment is determined according to the reference subtitle content of the reference video.
For example, the target video a is 10 minutes long, and the server detects the presence of the reference video (e.g., movie B), for example, the target video a is a first video segment corresponding to the 5 th minute to the 15 th minute of movie B. The server may determine the first subtitle content for the first video segment based on the reference subtitle content for movie B. For example, the subtitle content between the 5 th minute and the 15 th minute of movie B is determined as the subtitle content of the target video a (first video segment).
As shown in fig. 1, in step S104, the terminal is controlled to display the first subtitle content during the playing of the first video segment.
For example, the server may control the user handset to display a first subtitle content (e.g., may be a subtitle content between 5 th minute and 15 th minute of movie B) during the playing of a first video segment of target video a (e.g., being target video a).
In some alternative embodiments, the target video a includes a plurality of video clips. For example, the target video a includes 2 video clips. The server, in detecting whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video, for example, detects that the 1 st first video segment (e.g., the first 5 minutes of the target video a) of the target video a (e.g., the total duration of 10 minutes) is from movie B (e.g., the 5 th to 10 th minutes), and the 1 st first video segment (e.g., the last 5 minutes of the target video a) of the target video a is from a certain episode (e.g., the 1 st to 5 th minutes) of a series C. The server may determine that movie B and series C episodes are reference videos, respectively.
The server may determine, for the two first video segments, the first subtitle content of each first video segment according to the reference subtitle content of the reference video corresponding to each first video segment. And controlling the terminal to display the first subtitle content of each first video in the process of playing each first video. For example, the server may control the user's handset to display the subtitle content between 5 minutes and 10 minutes of movie B when the user's handset is 5 minutes before the target video a is played. And controlling the mobile phone of the user to display the subtitle content of a certain episode of the television series C between the 1 st minute and the 5 th minute when the mobile phone of the user plays the target video A for 5 minutes.
It should be noted that, the server determines the first subtitle content of the first video segment according to the reference subtitle content of the reference video, and controls the terminal to display the first subtitle content in the process of playing the first video segment, where the first subtitle content may be the first subtitle content determined by adding to the first video segment of the target video, or may be the first subtitle content determined according to the reference subtitle content of the reference video loaded in real time in the first video segment of the target video played by the control terminal, which is not limited in this disclosure.
Therefore, in the process of playing the target video by the user, even if the target video does not have the corresponding subtitle content, the server can control the user terminal to display the corresponding subtitle content, and the watching requirement of the user on the subtitle content is met.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a subtitle display method according to an example embodiment. In one possible implementation, as shown in fig. 2, the method further includes:
in step S105, when the reference video does not exist, performing content identification processing on at least one of a video frame and an audio content of the target video to obtain a first identification result;
in step S106, determining second subtitle content of the target video according to the first recognition result;
in step S107, the terminal is controlled to display the second subtitle content during the process of playing the target video.
For example, the server determines that the reference video does not exist, e.g., the target video a is a self-portrait video of some other user and has no subtitle content. The server can perform content identification processing on at least one of the video frame and the audio content of the target video in real time on line or in advance to obtain a first identification result.
The content recognition processing may refer to recognition processing performed by various types of recognition methods (e.g., one or more of character recognition, image recognition, and voice recognition) to obtain a first recognition result.
For example, the content recognition process may be Speech recognition of the audio content of the target video, for example, the audio content may be Speech recognized by an automatic Speech recognition technology asr (automatic Speech recognition). Alternatively, a neural network that can be used for speech recognition can be trained through a deep learning algorithm. And carrying out voice recognition on the audio content by utilizing the trained neural network. For example, a text result corresponding to the audio content is identified. Or, image recognition may also be performed on the video frame, for example, the face recognition and the article recognition may be performed on the video frame through a face recognition model and an article recognition model trained based on a neural network, so as to obtain a corresponding first recognition result. And performing content identification processing on at least one of the video frame and the audio content by combining various identification modes to obtain a first identification result.
The server may determine second subtitle content of the target video according to the first recognition result. For example, the first recognition result obtained by the content recognition process includes text content, such as conversation content corresponding to a character in the target video. The server may determine second subtitle content of the target video according to the first recognition result. For example, the identified text content is determined as the second subtitle content of the target video. Or the identified text content is determined as the second caption content after word segmentation, screening and other processing.
The server may control the terminal to display the second subtitle content in a process of playing the target video. For example, the user mobile phone is controlled to display the second subtitle content during the process of playing the target video a.
Therefore, when the target video has no subtitle content and does not have a reference video corresponding to at least one video segment of the target video, the second subtitle content can be determined and controlled by the user terminal to display through automatic content identification, so that the user can be helped to understand the video content, and the watching requirement of the user on the subtitle of the video is met. The present disclosure does not limit the manner of the content recognition processing, the manner of determining the second subtitle content from the first recognition result, and the like.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a subtitle display method according to an example embodiment. In one possible implementation, as shown in fig. 3, the method further includes:
in step S108, when the reference video exists, performing content identification processing on at least one of a video frame and an audio content of a second video segment, to obtain a second identification result, where the second video segment is a video segment of the target video other than the first video segment;
in step S109, determining a third subtitle content of the target video according to the second recognition result;
in step S110, the terminal is controlled to display the third subtitle content during the process of playing the second video segment.
Wherein the second video segment is a video segment of the target video other than the first video segment. For example, each video segment of the target video may be divided into a first video segment and a second video segment according to whether each video segment of the target video has a corresponding reference video. Wherein the first video segment is a video segment of a target video having a corresponding reference video. The second video segment is a video segment of the target video other than the first video segment, e.g., a video segment of the target video without a corresponding reference video.
For example, the server detects the presence of a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video, e.g., target video a has a total duration of 16 minutes. For example, it is detected that the reference video corresponding to the first 5 minutes (first video segment) is movie B, and the reference video corresponding to the last 5 minutes (first video segment) is a certain episode of drama C. The server detects that the target video a does not have the corresponding reference video in the middle 6 minutes (for example, the 6 minutes are video clips shot by a user who splices a video clip captured by the movie B, a video clip shot by the user and a video clip of a certain episode of the television series C into the target video a).
In a possible implementation manner, the server may perform content identification processing on at least one of the video frame and the audio content of the second video segment to obtain a second identification result. The content identification processing manner is as described above, and is not described herein again. The server may determine the third subtitle content of the target video according to the second recognition result. The third subtitle content may be third subtitle content corresponding to the second video segment in the target video. The server may control the user terminal to display the third subtitle content during the process of playing the second video segment.
In an exemplary application scenario, a user wishes to play a target video a. The user sends a play request for the target video A through the mobile phone of the user. And the server receives a play request aiming at the target video sent by the mobile phone of the user. The server may detect whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video a. For example, the server detects that the reference video corresponding to the 1 st first video clip of the target video a (e.g., the first 5 minutes of the target video a) is movie B (e.g., the 1 st first video clip is movie B from the 5 th minute to the 10 th minute). It is detected that the reference video corresponding to the 2 nd first video segment of the target video a (e.g., 5 minutes after the target video a) is a certain episode of a series C (e.g., the 2 nd first video segment is the 1 st minute to the 5 th minute of the certain episode of the series C). The middle 6 minutes of the target video a is a second video segment where no corresponding reference video exists.
In this application example, the server may determine the reference subtitle content of movie B from 5 th minute to 10 th minute as the first subtitle content of the 1 st first video segment, perform content identification processing on the target video a for 6 minutes (the second video segment) to obtain the second identification result, determine the second identification result as the third subtitle content corresponding to the second video segment, and determine the reference subtitle content of a certain episode of drama C from 1 st minute to 5 th minute as the first subtitle content of the 2 nd first video segment.
In this application example, the server may control the user handset to display the subtitle content between the 5 th minute and the 10 th minute of the movie B, the third subtitle content in the middle 6 minutes, and the subtitle content between the 1 st minute and the 5 th minute of the episode C in the tv series C when the target video a is played, for example, in the first 5 minutes.
By the method, when the target video has no subtitle content and has reference videos corresponding to the partial video segments, the result is automatically identified, and the corresponding subtitle content is determined and controlled to be displayed by the user terminal, so that the user can understand the video content and the watching requirement of the user on the subtitles of the video is met. The present disclosure does not limit the manner of the content recognition processing, the manner of determining the third subtitle content from the second map recognition result, and the like.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a subtitle display method according to an example embodiment. In one possible implementation, as shown in fig. 4, the method further includes:
in step S111, key information of the first video segment is obtained according to the content information of the reference video.
The key information may be words or sentences related to the first video segment and having a designated meaning, or may also be keywords or key sentences capable of representing the scenario of the first video segment.
For example, the server may obtain the key information of the first video clip according to the content information of the reference video. For example, the first video segment is a video segment of the variety program D (reference video), and the key information of the first video segment may be obtained according to the content information of the reference video. For example, the presenter of the attraction D (e.g., also present in the first video segment), the genre of the program may be determined as the key information for the first video segment. Alternatively, the reference video is movie B, and has a movie introduction (e.g., content information describing the main content of the movie), and the server may obtain the key information of the first video clip according to the content information of the reference video. For example, the content and form of the key information and the manner in which the server obtains the key information of the first video clip according to the content information of the reference video are not limited by the present disclosure.
In step S112, a first extended subtitle content of the first video segment is determined according to the key information.
The first extended subtitle content may be generated according to the obtained information related to the key information, such as the explanation, introduction, and extended content of the key information. For example, if the key information is an event a, the extended information may be related introduction information of the event a. If the key information is the celebrity b, the extended subtitles can be information related to the celebrity b, such as birth date, work, and the like of the celebrity b. If the key information is idiom c, the extended caption may be an explanation of the idiom c. If the key information is a keyword of a scenario, the extended caption may be a scenario brief introduction of the target video generated based on the keyword, or the like. The present disclosure does not limit the manner in which the server determines the first extended subtitle content for the first video clip according to the key information.
In step S113, the terminal is controlled to display the first extended subtitle content during the process of playing the first video segment.
For example, as described above, the server displays the first subtitle content (e.g., displaying the subtitle content for movie B between 5 minutes and 10 minutes) while the control terminal is playing the first video segment. In addition, the server can also control the terminal to display the first extended subtitle content in the process of playing the first video clip.
For example, during the process of playing the first video segment by the terminal, the display interface may include a plurality of display areas for displaying the subtitle content, for example, one of the display areas may display the first subtitle content determined according to the reference subtitle content of the reference video. Another display area may display the first subtitle content determined as described above (e.g., display a brief summary of the first video segment, etc.).
By the method, the related introduction information of the first video segment can be displayed in a subtitle mode, so that a user can know the related information of the first video segment of the target video conveniently, and the watching requirement for subtitle content is met. The number of display areas, the positions of the display areas, the display modes of the subtitle content in the display areas, and the like are not limited in the present disclosure.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart illustrating a subtitle display method according to an example embodiment. In one possible implementation, as shown in fig. 5, the method further includes:
in step S114, determining a second extended caption content of the target video according to the first recognition result;
in step S115, the terminal is controlled to display the second extended subtitle content during the process of playing the target video.
For example, as described above, the server may obtain the first recognition result through the content recognition process, and the server may determine the second subtitle content of the target video according to the first recognition result. In addition, the server can also determine second extended caption content of the target video according to the first identification result. Wherein, the second extended caption content may be a keyword extracted or summarized according to the first recognition result, or a plot brief of the target video, etc., and the present disclosure does not limit the form and content of the second extended caption content.
The server may control the terminal to display the second extended subtitle content during the process of playing the target video. For example, the second subtitle content and the second extended subtitle content are displayed in different display areas.
By the method, various information of the target video, such as the plot brief introduction and the like, can be displayed in a subtitle mode, so that a user can know the related information of the target video conveniently, and the watching requirement for the subtitle content is met.
It should be understood that the server may further determine, according to a second recognition result obtained by the content recognition, a third extended subtitle content corresponding to the second video segment of the target video, and control the terminal to display the third subtitle content and the third extended subtitle content in the process of playing the second video segment. As mentioned above, further description is omitted here.
Application example
An application example according to the embodiment of the present disclosure is given below in conjunction with "user playing target video a" as an exemplary application scenario to facilitate understanding of the flow of the subtitle display method. Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram illustrating an application scenario of a subtitle display method according to an exemplary embodiment. In this application example, the user wishes to play the target video a, and initiates a play request for the target video a through his mobile phone. The server, receiving the play request, may detect whether there is a reference video corresponding to at least one first video segment of the target video a. For example, the server detects a total length of 16 minutes for target video a, the first 5 minutes (1 st first video clip) corresponding to minutes 5 to 10 of movie B (reference video). The middle 6 minutes have no corresponding reference video and are the second video segment. The last 5 minutes (2 nd first video segment) correspond to the 1 st to 5 th minutes of a certain episode (reference video) of the series C.
In this application example, the server may determine first caption content for the 1 st first video segment (e.g., caption content between 5 minutes and 10 minutes of movie B) and the 1 st first video segment (e.g., caption content between 1 minute and 5 minutes of series C), respectively. In this application example, the server may perform content recognition processing on the second video segment to obtain a second recognition result, and determine the third subtitle content.
In this application example, the server may further determine the first extended subtitle content of the 1 st first video segment according to the content information of movie B, and determine the first extended subtitle content of the 2 nd first video segment according to the content information of drama C.
In this application example, the server may control the user handset to play the target video a. For example, 5 minutes before the playback, for example, as shown in fig. 6, the first subtitle content 61 for the 1 st first video clip and the first extended subtitle content 62 for the 1 st first video clip are displayed in different display areas, respectively. And displaying the determined third subtitle content when the playing time reaches 6 minutes. And when the playing time reaches 11 th minute, displaying the first subtitle content of the 2 nd first video segment and the first extended subtitle content of the 2 nd first video segment in different display areas respectively.
