Description

Method and terminal for indicating state of file system
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of computer technologies, and in particular, to a method and a terminal for indicating a file system state.
Background
With the development of computer technology, the current terminals all support access to extended storage devices; the storage device in the terminal is divided into built-in storage and external extended storage. The built-in storage refers to a storage space of the terminal when the terminal leaves a factory, and can be used for installing system firmware and software, and the external extended storage is usually pluggable extended storage equipment.
After the extended storage device is accessed to the terminal, the terminal can identify that the extended storage device is a prerequisite condition, namely that a file system of the extended storage device is normal; for example, when the operating system of the terminal is a Linux system, the extended storage device needs to have one of ext, fat, ntfs, and the like, and the file system is not damaged. However, since the extended storage device is easily damaged during a long-term plugging process, the file system is easily damaged. When a user inserts an abnormal extended storage device of a file system into a terminal, the terminal starts a protection mechanism when recognizing the extended storage device, and the terminal is automatically mounted in a read-only state. Because the terminal cannot detect whether the file system of the extended storage device is normal, when the situation occurs, the situation is often considered as a terminal operation error, so that a user repeatedly plugs and unplugs the extended storage device, and cannot quickly find the reason why the terminal cannot identify the extended storage device.
In summary, at present, the terminal cannot detect whether the file system of the extended storage device is normal, so that the reason why the terminal cannot identify the extended storage device cannot be found quickly.

When detecting that the extended storage device is accessed, the drive layer of the terminal of the embodiment of the invention can detect whether the file system of the extended storage device is abnormal or not, and when the file system is abnormal, the drive layer reports the file system abnormality of the extended storage device to the intermediate layer, and the intermediate layer informs the UI layer to prompt the file system to be in an abnormal state through the display interface; after the user sees the indication information of the terminal display interface, the user can clearly identify the terminal display interface as the file system of the extended storage device is damaged, so that the problem that the terminal cannot identify the inserted extended storage device can be quickly solved.
The extended storage device accessed to the terminal may be a storage device accessed through a USB interface, such as a USB disk, an SD card inserted through a card reader, or the like.
The embodiment of the invention can be suitable for various types of terminals. The terminal, also referred to as User Equipment (UE), a Mobile Station (MS), a Mobile Terminal (MT), etc., is a device that provides voice and/or data connectivity to a user. The terminal of the embodiment of the invention includes but is not limited to a notebook computer, a smart television, or other devices supporting the USB function.
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention clearer, the present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, a schematic diagram of a terminal operating system architecture according to an embodiment of the present invention:
the system architecture can comprise from the bottom layer to the upper layer: a driver layer, an intermediate layer, and a UI layer.
The above layers may be implemented by software, that is, the above layers may be regarded as functional modules or software modules.
Wherein, the driving layer is positioned in the kernel of the operating system; the kernel of the operating system is mainly used for realizing the core functions of hardware equipment driving, process and memory management, a network protocol stack, power management, wireless communication and the like, and is part of software for providing a plurality of application programs with safe access to computer hardware;
when the operating system of the terminal is a Linux system, the operation executed by the middle layer in the embodiment of the present invention may be executed by a device mount (DM for short) module in the middle layer; when the operating system of the terminal is an Android system, the operation executed by the middle layer in the embodiment of the present invention may be executed by a vold layer in the middle layer.
Based on the above operating system architecture, as shown in fig. 2, a method for indicating a file system state according to an embodiment of the present invention includes:
step 201, after detecting that an extended storage device is accessed, a driver layer of a terminal judges whether a file system of the extended storage device is abnormal;
step 202, if yes, the driver layer of the terminal reports the file system exception of the extended storage device to the middle layer of the terminal;
step 203, the middle layer of the terminal informs the UI layer of the terminal to display indication information indicating that the file system of the extended storage device is in an abnormal state in a display interface.
After an extended storage device is inserted into the terminal, a driver layer of a kernel of a terminal operating system detects the access of the extended storage device;
when detecting that an extended storage device is accessed, the terminal judges whether a file system of the extended storage device is abnormal or not by adopting the following modes:
a drive layer of the terminal acquires a return value of a file system detection function; and when the return value is a preset value, the drive layer of the terminal determines that the file system is abnormal.
It should be noted that the driver layer of the terminal may obtain a return value of the file system detection function, compare the obtained return value with a preset value, and if the return value is the preset value, the driver layer determines that the file system of the extended storage device is abnormal; and otherwise, when the return value is not the preset value, the drive layer determines that the file system of the extended storage device is normal.
The file system detection function is used for detecting whether a file system of the extended storage device is normal or not; for example, the file system detection function is: check _ FileSystemis _ Ok ().
The preset value in the embodiment of the invention can be a preset value, or the preset value is an empirical value obtained by a person skilled in the art through experiments;
for example, the file system detection function Is Check _ file system _ Is _ Ok (), and the preset value Is 1; when the return value of Check _ file system _ Is _ Ok () acquired by the driver layer Is 1, the driver layer determines that the file system of the extended storage device Is abnormal; when the return value of Check _ file system _ Is _ Ok () acquired by the driver layer Is 0, the driver layer determines that the file system of the extended storage device Is normal.
When the driver layer determines that the file system of the extended storage device is abnormal, reporting a state parameter for representing the file system abnormality to the middle layer;
it should be noted here that the driver layer may adopt two reporting modes:
mode 1, the driver layer reports the state parameters to the middle layer only when determining that the file system of the extended storage device is abnormal;
the drive layer takes the environment variable File System Error as a state parameter for representing the File System abnormality of the extended storage device, and reports the environment variable File System Error to the middle layer when determining the File System abnormality of the extended storage device; and when determining that the file system of the extended storage device is normal, not reporting.
In the mode 2, when the file system of the extended storage device is determined to be normal or abnormal, the drive layer reports the state parameters to the middle layer;
it should be noted here that, when the file system of the extended storage device is normal and abnormal, the state parameters reported to the middle layer are different;
the drive layer takes the environment variable File System Error as a state parameter for representing the File System exception of the extended storage device, and takes the environment variable File System Ok as a state parameter for representing the File System exception of the extended storage device; when determining that the File System of the extended storage device is abnormal, the drive layer reports an environment variable File System Error to the intermediate layer; and reporting the environment variable File System Ok to the middle layer when determining that the File System of the extended storage device is normal.
Optionally, the driver layer of the terminal reports the uevent event containing the state parameter to the intermediate layer of the terminal through a netlink mechanism.
In implementation, when determining that a file system of the extended storage device is abnormal, a driver layer of the terminal fills a state parameter indicating the file system abnormality into a custom environment variable, and reports a uevent event to the intermediate layer through a netlink mechanism, wherein the uevent event comprises the custom environment variable; that is, the uevent event includes a status parameter indicating a file system exception.
For example, the driver layer of the terminal fills the environment variable File System Error or the environment variable File System Ok into the customized environment variable, and reports the customized environment variable to the intermediate layer through a netlink mechanism.
After receiving the reported uevent event, the middle layer analyzes the state parameters in the user-defined environment variables from the uevent event, and judges whether the file system of the extended storage device is abnormal or not according to the analyzed state parameters.
If the driver layer reports the state parameters to the intermediate layer in the manner 1, the intermediate layer can determine that the file system of the extended storage device is abnormal after analyzing the state parameters.
For example, the middle layer determines that the File System of the extended storage device is abnormal when the middle layer resolves to the environment variable File System Error.
If the driver layer reports the state parameters to the intermediate layer in the mode 2, the intermediate layer needs to analyze the received state parameters after analyzing the state parameters, and if the analyzed state parameters are state parameters representing the file system abnormity of the extended storage device, the intermediate layer determines the file system abnormity of the extended storage device; and if the analyzed state parameter is the state parameter which indicates that the file system of the extended storage device is normal, the middle layer determines that the file system of the extended storage device is normal.
For example, when the middle layer analyzes the environment variable File System Error, it determines that the File System of the extended storage device is abnormal, and when the middle layer analyzes the environment variable File System Ok, it determines that the File System of the extended storage device is normal.
When the middle layer determines that the file system of the extended storage device is abnormal, the UI layer is informed to display indication information which indicates that the file system of the extended storage device is in an abnormal state in a display interface.
It should be noted that, when the UI layer displays the indication information indicating that the file system of the extended storage device is in an abnormal state in the display interface, a method in the prior art may be adopted, and details are not described here.
Specifically, when the UI layer displays indication information indicating that the file system of the extended storage device is in an abnormal state in the display interface, the indication information may be displayed in a pop-up frame display manner;
the pop-up box may include a text indicating that the file system of the extended storage device is in an abnormal state, or the pop-up box includes an icon indicating that the file system of the extended storage device is in an abnormal state.
For example, as shown in the terminal display interface shown in fig. 3, assuming that the extended storage device is a usb disk, when a file system of the usb disk is abnormal, the UI layer displays indication information of "file system damage of the usb disk" in the terminal display interface;
alternatively, as the terminal display interface shown in fig. 4, assuming that the extended storage device is a usb disk, when the file system of the usb disk is abnormal, the UI layer displays the icon shown in fig. 4 on the terminal display interface.
The following describes a method for indicating a file system state according to an embodiment of the present invention with reference to an operating system architecture diagram of a terminal.
As shown in fig. 5, a method for indicating a file system state according to an embodiment of the present invention includes:
step 501, a drive layer obtains a return value of a file system detection function, and determines that a file system of the extended storage device is abnormal according to the return value;
step 502, the driver layer is used for reporting a uevent event containing state parameters to the middle layer through a netlink mechanism;
step 503, the middle layer determines that the file system of the extended storage device is abnormal after receiving the state parameter;
step 504, the middle layer informs the UI layer to display indication information in the display interface;
and step 505, the UI layer displays indication information indicating that the file system of the extended storage device is in an abnormal state in a display interface.
Optionally, after the terminal UI layer displays indication information indicating that the file system of the extended storage device is in an abnormal state in the display interface, the terminal UI layer prompts a user in the display interface whether to perform formatting processing on the extended storage device;
and if an operation instruction which indicates that the extended storage equipment is formatted is received, the terminal carries out formatting processing on the extended storage equipment.
It should be noted that a preset time length may be preset, and in the preset time length after the terminal UI layer prompts the user in the display interface whether to need to format the extended storage device, if an operation instruction indicating to format the extended storage device is received, the terminal performs formatting on the extended storage device; if the user is prompted in a display interface by the terminal UI layer whether to format the extended storage device within a preset time length after the user does not receive an operation instruction, the terminal does not need to format the extended storage device;
the operation instruction for formatting the extended storage device may be input to the terminal by a user through a remote controller, or the operation instruction may be input by the user through a voice recognition device of the terminal, or the operation instruction may be input by another device connected to the terminal and capable of inputting the instruction.
As shown in FIG. 6, an overall flow chart of the method for indicating the state of the file system according to the embodiment of the invention is shown.
601, after detecting that the extended storage device is accessed, a drive layer of the terminal acquires a return value of a file system detection function;
step 602, the terminal driver layer determines whether the return value is a preset value, if so, step 603 is executed, and if not, step 609 is executed;
step 603, the driver layer of the terminal determines that the file system of the extended storage device is abnormal;
step 604, the driver layer of the terminal reports a uevent event containing state parameters representing file system abnormity to the middle layer through a netlink mechanism;
605, determining that the file system is abnormal after the middle layer of the terminal receives the state parameters;
step 606, the middle layer of the terminal informs the UI layer to display indication information indicating that the file system of the extended storage device is in an abnormal state in a display interface;
step 607, the UI layer of the terminal displays indication information indicating that the file system of the extended storage device is in an abnormal state in the display interface, and prompts a user in the display interface whether the extended storage device needs to be formatted;
step 608, if the terminal receives an operation instruction indicating that the extended storage device is formatted, formatting the extended storage device;
step 609, the terminal mounts the extended storage device;
and step 610, the terminal normally performs read-write operation on the extended storage device.
