Referring to fig. 1-2, an anti-freeze water meter 100 includes a water meter body 10 and a drain mechanism 20, wherein the water meter body 10 includes a case 101 and a movement gear box 102; the relief mechanism 20 comprises a relief tube 1, a guide sleeve 2, a piston 3, a spring 4 and a compression ring 5; the bleeder tube 1 is integrally connected to the watchcase 101 and is communicated with the deck gear box 102; the front end of the guide sleeve 2 extends into the movement gear box 102, and the rear end of the guide sleeve is fixed on the inner side of the bleeder tube 1; the front end of the guide sleeve 2 is positioned in the movement gear box 102 near the center of the water meter after installation. When water freezes, there is a process from outside to inside, after the outer end solidifies, the liquid still flows in, when the pressure in the water meter is greater than 3MPa, the piston 3 overcomes the elasticity of the spring 4, moves backwards along the guide sleeve 2, and the water is discharged and decompressed through the guide sleeve 2, so that the pressure burst of the glass 1403 is avoided. When the air temperature is warmed up, after the ice cubes are melted, the piston 3 is reset under the action of the spring 4, and the water meter can be put into use without any maintenance measures.
The guide sleeve 2 is arranged in the tooth box, does not influence the metering of the meter, does not need maintenance after the water meter is frozen, can automatically reset, and solves the problem that the glass 1403 of the water meter is frozen and cracked in low-temperature weather.
