Detailed Description
In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a more thorough understanding of the present invention. It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art that embodiments of the invention may be practiced without one or more of these details. In other instances, well-known features have not been described in detail in order to avoid obscuring the embodiments of the invention.
In the following description, a detailed structure will be presented for a thorough understanding of embodiments of the present invention. It will be apparent that embodiments of the invention may be practiced without limitation to the specific details that are set forth by those skilled in the art.
The present invention provides a hand-held cleaning appliance which may be a hand-held cleaner which may be used for everyday cleaning operations.
The handheld cleaning appliance may mainly comprise an air flow generating device (not shown) and a first filtering device 100. The air flow generating device is a power unit of the handheld cleaning device for performing cleaning work, and can comprise a motor and a fan, wherein the motor can drive the fan to rotate so as to generate negative pressure at the fan, so that air flow continuously enters the fan. The first filtering device 100 may be disposed upstream of the gas flow generating device to filter the gas entering the gas flow generating device.
The first filtering device 100 may mainly include a filter 110, at least two metal pieces 130, and a bracket 120. At least two of the metallic pieces 130 are disposed spaced apart from each other. The bracket 120 may be used to support the filter 110 and the metal piece 130. The first filtering device 100 of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to fig. 1 and 2.
The filter 110 may include a screen 111. Specifically, the filter 110 may include a fixing member 112 configured in a circular ring-shaped structure. The fixing member 112 may be disposed around the outside of the screen 111 and may fix the circumference of the screen 111. The screen 111 may be a woven fiber screen and can be water washed. The filter screen 111 may be uniformly provided with a plurality of filter holes (not shown), which are through holes for filtering the gas entering the gas flow generating device.
In the illustrated embodiment, the first filter device 100 includes two metal pieces 130. The metal member 130 may be constructed in a semicircular sheet structure. The two metal pieces 130 are spaced apart from each other and may be symmetrically disposed under the filter 110. Alternatively, the two metallic pieces 130 are spaced 0.5mm to 1mm apart. The metal piece 130 can rest against the screen 111. Specifically, the top surface of the metal piece 130 can abut against the bottom surface of the screen 111.
The metal member 130 may be made of copper or stainless steel material. Each of the metal pieces 130 may be provided with a through hole 131 so that an air flow can pass through the filtering holes of the filter screen 111 via the through holes 131. Alternatively, the metal member 130 may be uniformly provided with a plurality of through holes 131 so as to be able to facilitate the processing of the metal member 130. For example, the through hole 131 may be processed through a process of punching or etching.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the structure of the metal member 130 is not limited to this embodiment. In a not shown embodiment of the invention, the metal part may be provided with only one through hole. The through holes may be semi-circular in configuration and the radius of the through holes may be slightly smaller than the radius of the filter screen.
In addition, the hand-held cleaning device may further include a power supply circuit to which the two metal pieces 130 are connected in an open state. Specifically, each metal piece 130 may be connected to the power supply circuit via one wire, respectively, and since the two metal pieces 130 are not in direct contact, no current passes between the two metal pieces 130, i.e., the two metal pieces 130 are not conductive. In the case where the screen 111 of the filter 110 has not been dried after being washed with water, that is, when the screen 111 is in a wet state, since water is a conductor, the screen 111 in the wet state becomes a conductor, and the two metal pieces 130 can be conducted through the screen 111 to form a closed circuit, so that an electrical signal (e.g., a current) can be generated between the two metal pieces 130.
The handheld cleaning appliance may also include an alarm device (not shown) that is capable of generating an alarm signal when current is passed between the metallic members 130. That is, when the two metal pieces 130 are conducted through the filter screen 111, a current flows between the two metal pieces 130, and the alarm device can generate an alarm signal, such as an audible alarm or an indicator light alarm, so as to prompt the user that the filter screen 111 of the filter 110 is in a wet state, so that the user can take the filter 110 in the wet state out of the housing of the handheld cleaning device in time.
The bracket 120 may include a support portion 121. The support portion 121 may extend in a circumferential direction of the filter 110 to support the filter 110 and the metal piece 130. Specifically, the support portion 121 may be configured in a circular ring-like structure extending in the horizontal direction. Two metal pieces 130 may be disposed above the support 121, and the filter 110 may be disposed above the two metal pieces 130.
The bracket 120 may further include a connection portion 122. The connection part 122 may be located at an inner side of the support part 121, and an outer end of the connection part 122 extends to the support part 121. Specifically, the connection portion 122 may be disposed at a central position of the support portion 121 and extend in a radial direction of the support portion 121. The metal piece 130 may be mounted to the support part 121 and the connection part 122. Alternatively, the metal piece 130 may be placed over the supporting part 121 and the connecting part 122, and the metal piece 130 may be fixed to the bracket 120 by a fastener or glue.
The bracket 120 of the present embodiment may be made of a nonmetallic material. Specifically, the bracket 120 may be made of a resin material. Alternatively, the bracket 120 and the metal piece 130 may be integrated by an in-mold injection process, so that the metal piece 130 and the bracket 120 may be fixed firmly.
The handheld cleaning appliance may also include a second filter arrangement (not shown). The second filtering means may be disposed downstream of the gas flow generating means to filter the gas discharged from the gas flow generating means to thereby improve dust removal efficiency. The second filter device may be a HEPA filter 110 (High efficiencyparticulate air Filter, high efficiency air filter).
Although the first filtering apparatus 100 includes two metal pieces 130 in the above-described embodiment, the number of metal pieces 130 is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and the first filtering apparatus 100 may include more than two metal pieces 130 disposed spaced apart from each other as needed, and these metal pieces 130 are connected to the power supply circuit in an open state. For example, in one embodiment of the invention, not shown, the first filtering means may comprise three metal pieces arranged spaced apart from each other and connected to the power supply circuit in an open state, so that when the sieve 111 is in a wet state, at least two of the three metal pieces 130 may be conducted to form a closed circuit to be able to generate an electrical signal, such as an electric current.
According to the handheld cleaning device, the at least two mutually-spaced metal pieces are arranged, the metal pieces can be abutted against the filter screen, when the filter screen is in a wet state, part or all of the at least two metal pieces can be conducted through the filter screen to form a closed loop, so that the alarm device can generate an alarm signal, and the filter can be prevented from being put into the handheld cleaning device for use under the condition that the filter screen is not dried.
Unless defined otherwise, technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention pertains. The terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular implementations only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention. Terms such as "disposed" or the like as used herein may refer to either one element being directly attached to another element or one element being attached to another element through an intermediate member. Features described herein in one embodiment may be applied to another embodiment alone or in combination with other features unless the features are not applicable or otherwise indicated in the other embodiment.
The present invention has been described in terms of the above embodiments, but it should be understood that the above embodiments are for purposes of illustration and description only and are not intended to limit the invention to the embodiments described. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that many variations and modifications are possible in light of the teachings of the invention, which variations and modifications are within the scope of the invention as claimed.
