As shown in fig. 1 to 4, the present embodiment provides a straight root canal adapter 100 for connecting a root canal to a handle of a prophy angle. The straight root canal adapter 100 comprises a body.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the body includes an adapter 101. The adapter 101 includes a connector 130 and a cover 150. Wherein the coupler head 130 mates with the prophy angle handle. The connector 130 has a cavity 131 and an opening 132 communicating with each other. The opening 132 is provided in the annular wall 133 of the connector 130. A root canal auxiliary pulling mechanism 140 is provided in the cavity 131. The root canal auxiliary extraction mechanism 140 comprises a base 141 and a gear 143. One side of the base 141 is provided with a rack 142, and the rack 142 is engaged with a gear 143. The base 141 abuts against the bottom wall of the joint 130. It is understood that the base 141 is placed on the bottom wall. In this embodiment, a portion of the gear 143 is located inside the cavity 131, and another portion of the gear 143 extends through the opening 132, i.e., another portion of the gear 143 is located outside the cavity 131. In view of the above, the working principle of the adapter 100 is: in order to facilitate the removal of the root canal, only the gear 143 needs to be rotated, and the gear 143 drives the rack 142 to move, so that the base 141 is lifted to abut against the root canal, and the root canal can be pushed away from the adapter 100 by the upward pushing force. While the root canal assist extraction mechanism 140 prevents movement of the gear 143 and rack 142 when not in use by the stop 152 on the cover 150. When the root canal auxiliary pulling mechanism 140 is needed, the cover 150 is opened, the cooperation between the stop 152 and the gear 143 is released, and the adapter 100 is convenient and safe to use.

Specifically, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, in one implementation of the present embodiment, the stopper 152 is a stopper rod, and both ends of the stopper rod are connected to both ends of the cover 150 in the body width direction, respectively. The width direction of the body referred to herein means a direction perpendicular to the paper surface of fig. 1. In another implementation of this embodiment, the stopper 152 is a stop piece, one end of which is connected to the side wall 151 of the cover 150 opposite the opening 132, and the other end of which is located between two teeth of the gear 143.
Referring again to fig. 1, preferably, the other side of the base 141 is provided with a guide 144, and the inner wall of the coupling head 130 is provided with a guide rail disposed along the height direction of the body, and the guide 144 is engaged with the guide rail. By using the cooperation of the guide 144 and the guide rail, the base 141 can be stably moved up and down along a straight line.
Further, the adaptor 101 further includes an adaptor 110, and the adaptor 110 includes a mounting portion 112 and an adaptor portion 111 having elasticity. The adapter 111 includes a mating channel 111a. The insertion channel 111a allows insertion of a root canal. Both ends of the mounting portion 112 are connected to the adapter 111 and the connector 130, respectively. That is, the mounting portion 112 and the mating cap 102 may be removably coupled using threads. The mating cap 102 includes a first end 121 and a second end 122 opposite to each other, the first end 121 is provided with a socket, and the diameter of the first end 121 is gradually tightened from the second end 122 to the first end 121. It will be appreciated that the root canal may be inserted into the insertion hole, then pass through the insertion channel 111a, and then be screwed onto the mounting portion 112 by the mating cap 102, and the diameter of the first end 121 gradually tightens from the second end 122 to the first end 121 due to the elasticity of the adaptor portion 111, so that the mating cap 102 may press the adaptor portion 111 to stably fix the root canal in the adaptor 101.
Next, a fixing member 113 is disposed at a fixed end of the mounting portion 112 near the adapting portion 111, and the fixing member 113 is connected to the second end 122 through a spring 115. On the one hand, the matching cap 102 can be always connected with the adapter 101 by the spring 115, so that the phenomenon that the matching cap 102 is easy to lose after the adapter 101 is separated is prevented; on the other hand, since the spring 115 has elasticity, after the connection between the fitting cap 102 and the mounting portion 112 is released, the spring 115 automatically ejects the fitting cap 102 from the edge of the mounting portion 112, so that the root canal is inserted into the insertion hole.
Preferably, the inner wall of the first end 121 is provided with 2 abutting pieces 123,2 abutting pieces 123, which are all matched with the adapting part 111. That is, when the fitting cap 102 is mounted on the mounting portion 112, the 2 abutments 123 can further abut against the adapter portion 111, and the static friction between the root canal and the adapter portion 111 increases, so that the root canal can be more stably mounted in the adapter 101.

The first fixing member 113a and the second fixing member 113b are connected through a bearing 114, specifically, an inner ring of the bearing 114 is connected to the first fixing member 113a, an outer ring of the bearing 114 is connected to the second fixing member 113b, and at this time, the second fixing member 113b can rotate relative to the first fixing member 113 a. Meanwhile, the spring 115 is connected to the second fixing member 113b. That is, since the fitting cap 102 and the mounting portion 112 are screwed together, it is necessary to rotate the fitting cap 102 to fix the fitting cap 102 to the mounting portion 112, and it is possible to prevent the second fixing member 113b from rotating relative to the first fixing member 113a in order to prevent the spring 115 from being broken during the rotation of the fitting cap 102.
