Description

Method for adjusting terminal capability, network side equipment and terminal
Technical Field

Background
In the research of 5 th generation mobile communication technology (5G), the following consensus has been achieved for terminal (UE) capability:
1. consideration needs to be given during the design of new air interface (NR) systems: a) a scenario in which the NR shares hardware such as a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and a Bluetooth (BT) satellite navigation system (e.g., GPS); b) interference problems between NR and WLAN, BT, satellite navigation systems, etc.; c) other problems, such as overheating.
In practical use, the radio access capability of the UE is usually static, the NG core usually stores only the static UE capability, and the temporary UE capability restriction is transparent to the NG core. The change of the UE capability under the control of the network is usually realized by temporarily limiting some capabilities of the UE when problems such as hardware sharing, interference or overheating occur, but the prior art does not provide a specific scheme for realizing the capability limitation between the terminal and the network.

Detailed Description
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. While exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the invention can be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.
In the 5 th generation mobile communication technology (5G) research, the scenario of using temporary UE capability restriction generally includes:
1) terminal battery overheating;
2) the residual capacity of the terminal battery is too low and is not charged;
3) sharing hardware with WLAN, BT, satellite navigation systems (e.g., GPS), etc.;
4) there is signal interference with WLAN, BT, satellite navigation systems, etc.
In scenario 1 and scenario 2, the UE can inform the network of reducing power consumption, so as to reduce the temperature of the UE terminal or save power and prolong the service time of the UE. In scenarios 3 and 4, the UE is required to inform the network to limit the UE capability on a certain or some carrier frequencies, so as to achieve the purpose of hardware sharing or interference reduction. Therefore, a method for adjusting terminal capability is needed to communicate the information of terminal capability adjustment to the network in the above various scenarios.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when reporting the indication information of capability adjustment to the network, the transmission of capability adjustment by using the method of reporting temporary capability is avoided. The embodiment of the invention achieves the purpose of reducing power consumption/eliminating interference or recovering the terminal capability by reporting at least one capability parameter in a power consumption mode, a terminal speed and a frequency point and an adjustment mode thereof, and can contain the maximum speed (namely the limiting value of the terminal speed which is lower than the maximum supported peak speed of the terminal) expected to be reached by the terminal for ensuring the real-time requirement of the terminal service or the specific requirement of a user, and a network side can carry out scheduling again according to the limiting value of the terminal speed, so that on one hand, the actual speed of the terminal is reduced, the processing amount of the terminal side is reduced, the purpose of reducing power consumption is achieved, on the other hand, the service requirement is considered while the terminal capability is limited, and the user experience is ensured.
Here, the terminal rate may be represented by an average rate allowed for the terminal or a peak rate expected for the terminal, and the specific representation may be an absolute value of the rate or a proportional value with respect to a reference value. The reference value may be a peak rate maximally supported by the terminal.
Referring to fig. 1, a method for adjusting terminal capability according to an embodiment of the present invention, when applied to a terminal side, includes:
s11, the terminal sends a request message of capability adjustment to the network, the request message carries the capability parameter to be adjusted and the indication information of the adjustment mode, the adjustment mode includes limiting the capability parameter and/or canceling the limitation of the capability parameter.
Here, the capability parameter may include at least one of a power consumption mode, a terminal rate, and a frequency point. Wherein the content of the first and second substances,
for the power consumption mode, the adjusting mode comprises executing the low power consumption mode or exiting the low power consumption mode. In the low power consumption mode, the network may consider the power saving requirement of the terminal when scheduling the terminal to reduce the power consumption of the terminal, for example, by setting a longer Discontinuous Reception (DRX) cycle.
For the terminal rate, the adjusting mode comprises executing rate limitation or canceling rate limitation, a limiting value of the terminal rate can be provided when the rate limitation is executed, and the network carries out terminal scheduling according to the maximum terminal rate not exceeding the limiting value; when the rate limit is cancelled, the network may schedule according to the actual capabilities of the terminal.
And for the frequency point, the adjustment mode comprises the steps of limiting the functional capability of the terminal on the frequency point and recovering the working capability of the terminal on the frequency point.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a terminal may determine, according to a working state of the terminal, a capability parameter and an adjustment mode thereof that need to be adjusted, where the working state includes: at least one of the remaining battery capacity, the terminal temperature, the power supply mode, the hardware sharing mode and the network interference is adopted, so that a request message carrying the capability parameter of the adjustment capability and the indication information of the adjustment mode is sent.
And S12, the terminal receives the reconfiguration message sent by the network according to the request message, and configures according to the reconfiguration message.
Here, after receiving the request message, the network adjusts the scheduling configuration parameter of the terminal according to the indication information, and sends the reconfiguration message carrying the adjusted scheduling configuration parameter to the terminal; the terminal carries out corresponding configuration according to the reconfiguration message, thereby working based on the adjusted scheduling configuration parameters and realizing the limitation or recovery of the related capability parameters.
Further, optionally, after completing the configuration in S12, the terminal may further send a reconfiguration complete message to the network to notify the network that the reconfiguration is completed.
Specifically, the reconfiguration message and the reconfiguration complete message may adopt a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message in the prior art or other customized messages.
In addition, optionally, the terminal may perform the above-mentioned S11 to S12 by itself to send the request message to the network actively, or report the request message based on the network requirement, at this time, before S11, the network may send an indication message for indicating the report capability adjustment request message to the terminal, and after receiving the indication message, enter S11, and the terminal sends the request message to the network.
Through the above S11 to S12, the embodiment of the present invention realizes temporary limitation of the terminal capability or restoration of the terminal capability.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the indication information of the capability parameter to be adjusted and the adjustment mode thereof may specifically include:
1) power mode field indicating execution or exit of low power mode
If the power consumption mode field indicates that the power of the terminal needs to be limited, the power of the terminal is limited by adjusting the scheduling configuration and the terminal is controlled to enter a preset low power consumption mode so as to reduce the power consumption of the terminal; if the power consumption mode field indicates that the power of the terminal is not required to be limited, the power consumption mode field indicates that the network can cancel the limitation on the power of the terminal by adjusting the scheduling configuration and control the terminal to enter a normal power consumption mode so as to ensure the performance and the user experience of the terminal. It can be seen that the power consumption mode field can have a minimum of only 2 possible values, and thus can be implemented with one bit.
2) Terminal rate field indicating whether to perform rate limiting or cancel rate limiting
The terminal rate field may carry a limit value of the terminal rate to indicate that the maximum rate currently allowed by the terminal does not exceed the limit value. The limit may be expressed in terms of the absolute value of the rate, e.g. 10Mbps, or in terms of the proportional value of the peak rate B supported by the terminal at maximum, e.g. 30%, when the absolute value of the terminal rate is 30% B. In some scenarios, the terminal rate field may be 0, without limiting the terminal rate, i.e., the previous rate limit may be cancelled.
3) And a frequency point field indicating a frequency point where the operation needs to be restricted and/or the operation needs to be resumed.
The frequency bin field is used to indicate which frequency bin/bins require limited capability and/or which frequency bin/bins require recovered capability. When the capacity of a certain frequency point is limited, the network configures the terminal to not use the frequency point any more, and when the capacity of the certain frequency point is recovered, the network configures the terminal to use the frequency point.
A specific format of the indication information in S11 is further provided below. Referring to table 1, table 1 provides an alternative implementation of the above indication information.
Figure BDA0001287870890000061
Figure BDA0001287870890000071
TABLE 1
As shown in table 1, the indication information includes 3 Information Element (IE) information, in which:
LowerPowerInd: and the Lowpower is used for informing the network (such as the gNB) that the terminal expects to adopt the low power consumption mode, and the Normal is used for informing the gNB that the terminal expects to cancel the low power consumption limit and restore the Normal power consumption mode.
PeakRate: the limit value of the terminal rate, which may be an average rate or a peak rate desired by the terminal, is used herein to indicate the peak rate desired by the terminal. In order to achieve the purpose of reducing power consumption, the terminal sets the desired peak rate to be generally lower than the peak rate value supported by the terminal at the maximum, and the terminal may set the value according to the current terminal temperature, service requirements and other factors, for example, the value may be 20%, 40%, 60% and the like of the peak rate value supported by the terminal at the maximum, so as to ensure that the network side does not reduce the rate without limitation in order to reduce the processing complexity of the terminal side while reducing the power consumption of the terminal, thereby causing some services to be unable to be performed normally, and significantly reducing user experience. The network can reduce the peak rate of the terminal according to the value and reschedule the terminal, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing power consumption. Additionally, a percentage of the peak rate that the terminal desires relative to the maximum supported peak rate for the terminal, such as 20%, 40%, 60%, etc., may also be reported herein. Hereinafter, the reporting peak rate will be described as an example.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when there is a peak in the request message of S11, if the value of the peak is not 0, it is determined that the limit value of the terminal rate is the value of the peak, and the network performs a scheduling configuration operation of rate limit on the terminal according to the value of the peak; and if the value of the peak is 0, the terminal rate limit is cancelled. If there is no peak in the request message of S11, the network continues to use the current rate limit if it has performed rate limit on the terminal before scheduling; if rate limiting has not been performed before, it means that rate limiting is not required for the terminal.
RestrictFreqInfo: the frequency point information containing the capacity to be adjusted, wherein FreqNum is the number of relevant frequency points, a frequency value array contains relevant frequency point values, a capability RestrictInMap is a bitmap (bitmap), the bitmap corresponds to each frequency point in the frequency value array, the capacity of the frequency point needs to be limited when the bit value is 1, and the capacity of the frequency point needs to be recovered when the bit value is 0.
The terminal can assign values to the IEs in the indication information according to the triggering scenario, so as to generate and send a corresponding request message to the network.
Referring to fig. 2, a method for adjusting terminal capability according to an embodiment of the present invention, when applied to a network side, includes:
s21, a network side device receives a first request message for capability adjustment sent by a terminal, where the first request message carries capability parameters to be adjusted and indication information of an adjustment mode thereof, and the adjustment mode includes limiting the capability parameters and/or canceling the limitation of the capability parameters.
And S22, the network side device sends a reconfiguration message for reconfiguring the terminal capability parameter to the terminal according to the capability parameter to be adjusted and the adjustment mode thereof carried in the first request message.
Here, the network side device may be a base station (gNB). The capability parameter comprises at least one of a power consumption mode, a terminal rate and a frequency point. The indication information of the capability parameter needing to be adjusted and the adjustment mode thereof comprises: a power mode field indicating whether to execute the low power mode or to exit the low power mode; a terminal rate field indicating a limit value of a terminal rate, wherein the limitation of the terminal rate is cancelled when the limit value is 0; and a frequency point field indicating a frequency point for which the operation needs to be restricted and/or a frequency point for which the operation needs to be resumed.
Before S21, the network side device may further send an indication message for indicating the reporting capability adjustment request message to the terminal, so as to trigger the terminal to send the first request message.
The above methods of embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to several specific examples.
Example 1: < scenario in which remaining power of terminal is sufficient but battery is overheated >
This example only considers a scenario where the terminal temperature needs to be reduced, and the main purpose of reducing power consumption is to reduce temperature, rather than save power to extend battery life. Therefore, in this scenario, it is desirable to ensure smooth progress of a service while reducing power consumption of a terminal, rather than reducing a data rate without constraint to reduce a terminal temperature, the scenario may use a peak rate desired by the terminal.
Referring to fig. 3, the behavior of the terminal side in this example includes:
in S31, when the terminal determines the capability parameter and the adjustment mode thereof that need to be adjusted according to the working state of the terminal, the method may specifically include: when the remaining battery capacity is greater than a preset first capacity threshold or the terminal is in a charging state, if the terminal temperature exceeds a preset first temperature threshold and lasts for a preset first time, determining that the capacity parameter needing to be adjusted is a terminal rate, and the adjustment mode is to execute rate limitation.
At this time, the terminal may obtain the increase rate of the terminal temperature within the predetermined first time, and obtain the real-time requirement of the current service of the terminal, and then make a judgment:
1) if the growth speed exceeds a preset speed threshold and the real-time requirement of the current service is greater than a preset first time delay threshold, determining that the limit value of the terminal speed is a first numerical value;
2) if the growth speed exceeds the preset speed threshold and the real-time requirement of the current service is less than a preset second delay threshold, determining that the limit value of the terminal speed is a second value;
3) if the increasing speed does not exceed the preset speed threshold, determining that the limiting value of the terminal speed is a third numerical value;
the preset first time delay threshold is larger than a preset second time delay threshold, and the first numerical value, the second numerical value and the third numerical value are sequentially increased in an increasing mode; the limiting value of the terminal speed is an absolute speed value or a proportional value of the terminal speed supported by the terminal at the maximum.
For example, in the predetermined first time, the terminal temperature increases faster and there is no traffic with higher real-time requirement, and the terminal may set the PeakRate to be 20% or even 10% of the maximum supported peak rate of the terminal; if the temperature increases faster and there is a service with higher real-time requirement, the UE can be set to set the PeakRate to be 40% or 50% of the maximum supported peak rate of the terminal; if the temperature does not increase quickly, the PeakRate can be set to 60% of the maximum supported peak rate for the terminal, etc.
In S32, the terminal sends a request message to the network (e.g., gNB), where the request message carries information indicating the value of limiting the terminal rate, so that the network receives the request message carrying information indicating the value of limiting the terminal rate.
In S33, the terminal receives the reconfiguration message sent by the network, and performs corresponding configuration, so as to perform work based on the adjusted scheduling configuration parameter, thereby achieving a reduction in the rate of the terminal, thereby reducing the power consumption of the terminal and reducing the temperature of the terminal. In addition, optionally, after completing the configuration, the terminal may further send a reconfiguration complete message to the network to notify the network that the reconfiguration is completed.
The network side behavior in this example includes:
in S32, the network side device (e.g., the gNB) receives the request message sent by the terminal and carrying the indication information of the limit value of the terminal rate, where the limit value is greater than 0.
In S33, the network side device (e.g., the gNB) adjusts the scheduling configuration parameter for the terminal according to the limit value of the terminal rate, and sends a reconfiguration message carrying the scheduling configuration parameter to the terminal.
Example 2: < scenario in which battery level of terminal is too low and not charged >
The primary purpose of this example is to save power to maximize the terminal's on-network time. For example, when the LowerPowerInd value is Lowpower, the network side may be notified to implement low power consumption of the UE, but only pursuing low power consumption may cause a certain trouble to the user. For example, a certain rate needs to be ensured for a service with a certain requirement on real-time performance to ensure user experience, so that a PeakRate can be used to assist a network side in dividing power consumption into different levels, the PeakRate is optional in this scenario, and a terminal sets a peak rate of network configuration expected by the terminal according to its current service level or according to a user requirement to be, for example, 40% of the peak rate supported by the terminal at the maximum. If the PeakRate does not exist, the network side can determine how to reduce the power consumption of the terminal by itself, namely, the on-network time of the terminal can be prolonged to the maximum extent.
Referring to fig. 4, the behavior of the terminal side in this example includes:
in S41, when the terminal determines the capability parameter and the adjustment mode thereof that need to be adjusted according to the working state of the terminal, the method may specifically include: and when the residual electric quantity of the battery is smaller than a preset second electric quantity threshold and the terminal is in a non-charging state, determining that the capacity parameter needing to be adjusted comprises a power consumption mode, wherein the adjustment mode is a low power consumption execution mode.
At this time, the terminal may send a request message to the network, where the request message carries indication information indicating that the low power consumption mode is to be executed. For example, when the remaining power of the UE is lower than a certain threshold and the mobile phone is in a non-charging state, the terminal determines to notify the network side of adopting a scheduling configuration for reducing power consumption. The terminal sets LowerPowerInd in the capability restriction indication message body to Lowpower.
Optionally, the terminal may further determine, according to a real-time requirement corresponding to a current service level of the terminal or a service real-time requirement expected by a user, that the limit value of the terminal rate is a second value, and further determine that the capability parameter that needs to be adjusted further includes the terminal rate, and the adjustment manner is to perform rate limiting, and the request message further carries the limit value of the terminal rate (specifically, the second value). For example, if the current terminal service level has a real-time requirement higher than a certain threshold, or the user wants to achieve a certain rate requirement, the IE PeakRate is assigned accordingly, for example, 40% or 30% of the maximum supported peak rate of the terminal may be set according to the service, so as to assist the network side to have a certain rate limit when the network side reconfigures the UE.
In S42, the terminal sends a request message to the network (e.g., the gNB), where the request message carries indication information indicating that the low power consumption mode is to be executed, and optionally, the request message may also carry a rate limit value of the terminal.
In S43, the terminal receives the reconfiguration message sent by the network, and performs corresponding configuration, so as to perform work based on the adjusted scheduling configuration parameter, and control the terminal to enter a low power consumption mode, thereby reducing the power consumption of the terminal and prolonging the on-network duration of the terminal. In addition, optionally, after completing the configuration, the terminal may further send a reconfiguration complete message to the network to notify the network that the reconfiguration is completed.
The network side behavior in this example includes:
in S42, the network side device (e.g., the gNB) receives a request message sent by the terminal, where the request message carries indication information indicating that the low power consumption mode is to be executed, and the request message may also carry indication information indicating a limit value of the terminal rate for performing rate limiting.
In S43, the network side device obtains the scheduling configuration parameter in the low power consumption mode according to the indication information for executing the low power consumption mode carried in the request message, and sends the reconfiguration message of the scheduling configuration parameter to the terminal.
In S43, if the request message does not carry the indication information indicating the limit value of the terminal rate for performing rate limiting, the network side maintains the current rate limiting state or non-limiting state of the terminal, that is, if the terminal rate is currently limited, the limiting is continuously maintained; and if the terminal rate is not limited currently, the terminal rate is still not limited.
In S43, if the request message carries the indication information indicating the limit value of the terminal rate for performing rate limiting, determining whether the limit value of the terminal rate is 0;
when the limiting value of the terminal rate is not 0, limiting the terminal rate according to the limiting value of the terminal rate, acquiring a scheduling configuration parameter in a low power consumption mode, and sending a reconfiguration message of the scheduling configuration parameter to the terminal;
and when the limiting value of the terminal rate is 0, canceling the limitation of the terminal rate, acquiring the scheduling configuration parameters in a low power consumption mode, and sending a reconfiguration message carrying the scheduling configuration parameters to the terminal.
The low power mode may be implemented by configuring to reduce the processing complexity of the terminal, for example, by limiting MIMO antennas, Carrier Aggregation (CA) capability, and extending a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) cycle, etc., to obtain configuration parameters in the low power mode, so as to reduce power consumption of the terminal.
For example, when detecting that LowerPowerInd in the request message is Lowpower, if PeakRate exists and the value is not 0, the network side adjusts the scheduling configuration of the terminal according to the PeakRate, and if the PeakRate is 0, the network side can schedule the terminal arbitrarily to achieve maximum reduction of terminal power consumption; and then, the network side initiates a reconfiguration message to reconfigure the terminal according to the adjusted scheduling configuration parameters.
Example 3: < removal of Battery high temperature problem or Battery Low Battery Condition >
Corresponding to the above examples 1 and 2, when the problem of high battery temperature of the terminal is solved, or the problem of low battery capacity of the terminal is solved, that is, the terminal temperature has recovered to the normal temperature range in an overheat scene, or the terminal has started charging in a scene with low residual capacity, and the terminal wants to recover to the scheduling state of normal terminal capability from the state of temporarily limiting the terminal rate or the low power consumption mode, the terminal sets the indication message and transmits the request message to the network side. The network side initiates a reconfiguration process to recover the normal scheduling of the terminal.
Corresponding to the above example 1, when the normal scheduling of the terminal is resumed, the method may specifically include: if the terminal detects that the residual electric quantity of the battery is greater than a preset first electric quantity threshold or the terminal is in a charging state, and the terminal temperature is less than a preset second temperature threshold and lasts for a preset second time, determining that the capacity parameter needing to be adjusted is a terminal rate, and adjusting the rate in a mode of canceling rate limitation; at this time, the terminal sends a request message to the network, where the request message carries indication information for canceling the rate limitation.
Corresponding to the above example 2, when the normal scheduling of the terminal is resumed, the method may specifically include: if the terminal detects that the terminal is in a charging state, determining that the capability parameters needing to be adjusted comprise a power consumption mode, wherein the adjustment mode is to exit from a low power consumption mode; at this time, the terminal sends a request message to the network, wherein the request message carries indication information for exiting the low power consumption mode. Further, the request message may also carry a rate limit value of the terminal, specifically:
when rate limiting is not currently performed: if the temperature of the terminal is not greater than the preset second temperature threshold, or the real-time requirement of the current service of the terminal is not less than the preset third time delay threshold, continuing not executing rate limitation; if the terminal temperature is greater than a preset second temperature threshold and the real-time requirement of the current service of the terminal is less than a preset third time delay threshold, determining that the capability parameters needing to be adjusted also comprise the terminal rate, and the adjustment mode is to execute rate limitation and determine a limit value of the terminal rate;
when rate limiting has currently been performed: if the temperature of the terminal is not greater than a preset second temperature threshold, or the real-time requirement of the current service of the terminal is not less than a preset third time delay threshold, canceling the rate limitation; and if the terminal temperature is greater than the preset second temperature threshold and the real-time requirement of the current service of the terminal is less than the preset third time delay threshold, determining that the capacity parameters needing to be adjusted also comprise the terminal rate, and the adjustment mode is to execute rate limitation, and re-determining the limit value of the terminal rate.
Here, an implementation of determining the limit value of the terminal rate may refer to example 1, and for saving space, the detailed description is omitted here.
Referring to fig. 5, the behavior of the terminal side in this example includes:
corresponding to example 1, the PeakRate is not 0, and in S51, when it is detected that the terminal is in a charged state or is in a sufficient amount of power, and if the terminal temperature is lower than a certain threshold value and lasts for a predetermined time period, it is desirable to resume normal scheduling of the terminal, and the terminal is desirable to resume from the execution rate limiting state to the normal state, and the PeakRate is set to 0.
Corresponding to example 2, lowerpowendid is Lowpower, and in S51, when it is detected that the terminal starts to be in the charging state, the terminal needs to be restored from the low power consumption state to the Normal state, and the lowerpowendid is set to Normal, further:
a) if the PeakRate is 0 before, and the terminal temperature is normal or the service has no real-time requirement, the PeakRate can not be reported, that is, the request message does not carry the PeakRate.
b) If the PeakRate is previously 0 and the terminal temperature and traffic real-time requirements meet example 1, the PeakRate value is set according to the manner as in example 1.
c) And if the PeakRate is not 0 before, the temperature of the terminal is recovered to be normal, or the service has no real-time requirement, setting the PeakRate to be 0.
d) If the peakRate is not 0 before, the terminal temperature and the service real-time requirement meet the example 1, the peakRate is set according to the mode in the example 1, if the peakRate is not changed, the IE corresponding to the peakRate can not be reported, otherwise, the peakRate is modified and reported to the network side.
In S52, the terminal sends a request message to the network (e.g., the gNB), where the request message carries indication information indicating that the low power consumption mode is exited, indicating that the rate limit is cancelled or executed, and indicating a limit value of the terminal rate.
In S53, the terminal receives the reconfiguration message sent by the network, and performs corresponding configuration, so as to perform work based on the adjusted scheduling configuration parameter, thereby controlling the terminal to enter a normal mode. In addition, optionally, after completing the configuration, the terminal may further send a reconfiguration complete message to the network to notify the network that the reconfiguration is completed.
The network side behavior in this example includes:
in S52, the network device receives the request message sent by the terminal.
Here, the request message carries indication information indicating to exit the low power consumption mode, or the request message carries indication information indicating to exit the low power consumption mode and indicating to cancel rate limitation or to execute a limit value of the terminal rate of rate limitation.
And the network side equipment acquires the scheduling configuration parameters of the terminal after exiting the low power consumption mode according to the indication information which is carried in the first request message and indicates that the terminal exits the low power consumption mode, and sends a reconfiguration message of the scheduling configuration parameters to the terminal.
If the first request message does not carry the indication information representing the limit value of the terminal rate for executing rate limit, maintaining the current rate limit state or the non-limit state of the terminal, acquiring the scheduling configuration parameters of the terminal after exiting the low power consumption mode, and sending the reconfiguration message of the scheduling configuration parameters to the terminal.
If the first request message carries the indication information indicating the limit value of the terminal rate for executing rate limit, determining whether the limit value is 0: when the limiting value is not 0, limiting the terminal speed according to the limiting value, acquiring the scheduling configuration parameters of the terminal after exiting the low power consumption mode, and sending a reconfiguration message carrying the scheduling configuration parameters to the terminal; and when the limit value is 0, canceling the limit of the terminal speed, acquiring the scheduling configuration parameters of the terminal after exiting the low power consumption mode, and sending a reconfiguration message carrying the scheduling configuration parameters to the terminal.
For example, if the lowerpoweringnd is detected to be Normal, the low power configuration is no longer used for the UE. And if the PeakRate is not detected, the network side schedules the terminal according to the current terminal rate limiting state or the non-limiting state. If the limiting value of the terminal rate which is not 0 is detected (namely the PeakRate exists and is not 0), the terminal is scheduled according to the PeakRate; if the limiting value of the terminal rate with the value of 0 is detected, the terminal is normally scheduled according to the terminal capability, and high-rate scheduling can be realized to the maximum extent.
In S53, the network device sends an RRC reconfiguration request message to the UE for reconfiguration.
Example 4: < scenarios where there is only the ability to limit a certain frequency point or points >
In this example, the terminal is required to notify the network side of information of the frequency points that need to be restricted. The number of frequency points that need to be limited may be greater than or equal to 1, so the number FreqNum of frequency points on the network side needs to be informed. First, for scenario 3 and scenario 4, the terminal has interference on Freq1 and hardware sharing on Freq2 in a certain area, that is, the terminal needs to limit UE capabilities of Freq1 and Freq2 frequency points, and the terminal notifies the network side of limiting the capabilities of the two frequency points through an indication message of limiting the capabilities. Therefore, at this time, FreqNum is set to 2, Freq1, and Freq2 are limit frequency points.
Referring to fig. 6, the behavior of the terminal side in this example includes:
in S61, if the terminal detects that there is at least one first frequency point of hardware sharing or network interference, it is determined that the capability parameter that needs to be adjusted includes the first frequency point, and the adjustment mode is to limit the working capability of the terminal on the first frequency point.
For example, when the terminal detects that there is hardware sharing or interference with WLAN, BT, GPS, etc. at Freq1, it is necessary to limit the UE capability of Freq1 to implement hardware sharing or eliminate interference. And, if the terminal detects that there is hardware sharing or interference with WLAN, BT, GPS, etc. at Freq2, it is necessary to limit the UE capability of Freq2 to implement hardware sharing or to eliminate interference. Therefore, the terminal sets FreqNum as the number of frequency points requiring capacity restriction, which is assumed to be 2 in this example, and sets frequency value [0] in the array frequency value as Freq1, frequency value [1] as Freq2, and sets the corresponding frequency point capacity indication as capacity restictlndmap as 0x0003 (the binary sequence is 000000000011).
In S62, the terminal sends a request message to the network, where the request message carries indication information for limiting the working capability of the terminal on the first frequency point, where the first frequency point includes Freq1 and Freq 2.
In step 63, the terminal receives the reconfiguration message sent by the network, and performs corresponding configuration, thereby limiting the working capability of the terminal on the first frequency point. In addition, optionally, after completing the configuration, the terminal may further send a reconfiguration complete message to the network to notify the network that the reconfiguration is completed.
The network side behavior in this example includes:
in S62, the network side device receives indication information carrying the work capability of the terminal on the first frequency point, which is sent by the terminal. At this time, the network side device limits the working capacity of the terminal on the first frequency point according to the indication information, and obtains the adjusted scheduling configuration parameters.
In S63, the network side device sends a reconfiguration message carrying the adjusted scheduling configuration parameters to the terminal.
For example, in S62, the network side receives the capability restriction instruction message from the terminal side, and detects that FreqNum is not 0, and in this example, FreqNum is 2. The network side equipment reads the frequency value [0] and the frequency value [1] of the array frequency value in the message, wherein the frequency value [0] and the frequency value [1] are Freq1 and Freq2 respectively, and the capacity restictIndMap is 0x0003, so the network side equipment limits the capacity of the two frequency points of the terminal, and reconfigures the terminal according to the limited terminal capacity to limit the working capacity of the terminal on the frequency points and avoid using the frequency points. In S63, the network side device sends a reconfiguration message to the terminal.
Example 5: < scenarios where there is only the capability to recover a certain frequency point or points >
Continuing with the scenario of example 4, if the terminal detects that the hardware sharing or the network interference on the first frequency point is finished, it is determined that the capability parameter that needs to be adjusted includes the first frequency point, and the adjustment mode is to recover the working capability of the terminal on the first frequency point. And the terminal sends a request message to the network, wherein the request message carries indication information for restoring the working capacity of the terminal on the first frequency point.
For example, for a simple frequency point recovery scenario, still taking the two frequency points in example 4 as an example, if the field detects that hardware interference and/or hardware sharing of Freq1 and Freq2 have ended and UE capabilities of the two frequency points need to be recovered, then FreqNum is set to 2, the frequency point information is Freq1 and Freq2, and capability restictindmap is set to 0x 0000.
Referring to fig. 7, the behavior of the terminal side in this example includes:
in S71, when the terminal detects that the sharing with hardware such as WLAN, BT, GPS, etc. or the interference has ended in Freq1, it needs to recover the UE capability of Freq1 to make full use of the UE capability and ensure the optimum service. And if the terminal detects that the sharing of hardware such as the Freq2 and the WLAN, the BT, the GPS and the like or the interference is finished, the UE capability of the Freq2 needs to be recovered so as to fully use the UE capability and ensure the optimal service. Then, the terminal sets FreqNum in the message as the number of frequency points needing capability recovery, in this case 2, sets freqyvalue [0] in the array freqyvalue in the message as Freq1, freqyvalue [1] as Freq2, and sets the corresponding frequency point capability indication as recovery, that is, capabilityrestictlndmap is 0x 0000.
In S72, the terminal transmits a capability adjustment request message to the network.
In S73, the terminal receives the reconfiguration request sent by the network, reconfigures the terminal, and recovers the operating capabilities on the two frequency points. After the configuration is completed, the terminal can also send a reconfiguration complete response message to the network side.
The network side behavior in this example includes:
in S72, the network side device receives the indication information sent by the terminal and carrying the indication information for restoring the working capability of the terminal on the first frequency point. At this time, the network side device recovers the working capacity of the terminal on the first frequency point according to the indication information, and obtains the adjusted scheduling configuration parameter.
In S73, the network side device sends a reconfiguration message carrying the adjusted scheduling configuration parameters to the terminal.
For example, the network side receives the message indicating the capability adjustment sent by the terminal side, detects that FreqNum is not 0, in this example, FreqNum is 2, reads freqyvalue [0] and freqyvalue [1] of an array freqyvalue in the message, namely Freq1 and Freq2, respectively, and reads that capability restictlndmap is 0x0000, namely, learns the capability of the terminal requesting to recover two frequency points, so the network side recovers the capability of the two frequency points of the terminal and reconfigures the UE. And performing resource scheduling on the two frequency points according to the resource condition. In S73, the network side sends a reconfiguration message to the terminal.
Example 6: < simultaneous performance of capability restriction and recovery on multiple frequency points >
When the terminal detects that at least one second frequency point with hardware sharing or network interference exists and detects that the hardware sharing or the network interference on at least one third frequency point is finished, determining that the capacity parameters needing to be adjusted comprise the second frequency point and the third frequency point, wherein the adjustment mode is to limit the working capacity of the terminal on the second frequency point and recover the working capacity of the terminal on the third frequency point. At this time, the terminal sends a request message to the network, where the request message carries indication information for limiting the working capacity of the terminal on the second frequency point and recovering the working capacity of the terminal on the third frequency point. And the network side equipment receives the request message, limits the working capacity of the terminal on the second frequency point according to the indication information, and/or recovers the working capacity of the terminal on the third frequency point to obtain the adjusted scheduling configuration parameters, and sends the reconfiguration message carrying the adjusted scheduling configuration parameters to the terminal.
For a complex scene, a terminal needs to perform different capacity requirements on multiple frequency points at the same time, for example, when interference cancellation of Freq1 is detected, when new interference occurs in Freq2, the capacity of Freq1 needs to be recovered at the same time, and the capacity of Freq2 needs to be limited, so to indicate the capacity requirements of each frequency point respectively, the indication information for adjusting the capacity includes a bitmap IE, namely capacity restictlndmap, which indicates whether the capacity of each frequency point is limited or recovered, and the capacity of the multiple frequency points is limited and/or recovered at the same time. Take the case of recovery of Freq1, Freq2 restriction:
referring to fig. 8, the behavior of the terminal side in this example includes:
in S81, the terminal detects that there is no hardware sharing or interference for Freq1 and needs to restore the capability to Freq1, and detects that there is hardware sharing or interference for Freq2 and needs to limit the capability to Freq 2. At this time, the terminal determines that FreqNum in the indication information of the adjustment capability is set as the number of affected frequency points, which is 2 in this case, and sets frequency value [0] in the array frequency value as Freq1, frequency value [1] as Freq2, and sets the last two bits in the capability restictindmap to correspond to the two frequency points in the frequency value array, and the lowest bit of the capability restictindmap corresponds to the frequency value [0], and so on, bit of 1 indicates that the frequency point capability is limited, and 0 indicates that the capability is restored, so the capability restictmapp is 0x0002 (the last 4 bits are 0010).
In S82, the terminal transmits a request message for adjusting the capability to the network side.
In S83, the terminal receives the reconfiguration request message from the network, reconfigures the terminal, and sends a reconfiguration complete response message to the network.
The network side behavior in this example includes:
in S82, the network side receives the request message for adjusting the capability sent by the UE side, and detects that FreqNum is not 0, where FreqNum is 2 in this example, and reads frequency value [0] and frequency value [1] of the array freqyvalue in the message, Freq1 and Freq2, respectively, and reads the last frequency point qnum bit in the capacityresisttindmap, and indicates the capability of the frequency point in the frequency value, respectively, where the capacityresisttindmap is 0x0002, the frequency point corresponding to freqyvalue [0] is to recover its capability, and the frequency point corresponding to freqyvalue [1] is to limit its capability. And the network side reconfigures the UE according to the indication information and can schedule resources for the frequency point corresponding to the frequency value [0] according to the resource condition.
In S83, the network side device sends a reconfiguration message to the terminal.
Example 7: < Synthesis of four scenarios >
In this example, the processing may also be performed on more than two scenes including scene 1 to scene 4, and the processing manner of the combined scene may combine the processing manners in the corresponding examples, which is not described herein again.
Example 8: < network side equipment indicating terminal reporting capability adjustment request message >
Referring to fig. 9, in this example, in S90, the network side device sends an indication message for indicating the report capability adjustment request message to the terminal.
In S91, the terminal checks the current terminal state according to the indication message sent by the network side device, determines whether it is necessary to start the low power consumption mode or end the low power consumption mode, whether it is necessary to execute rate limiting or cancel rate limiting, and whether it is necessary to recover or limit the capability of some frequency points, and then fills in each IE in the request message according to the current terminal state.
In S92, the terminal transmits a capability adjustment request message to the network side device.
In S93, the network device sends a reconfiguration message to the terminal according to the request message, reconfigures the UE, and the terminal sends a reconfiguration complete message to the network device after completing the configuration.
The method for adjusting the terminal capability according to the embodiment of the present invention is described above by using a plurality of examples. It can be seen that, in the embodiment of the present invention, when the request message for capability adjustment is reported by the terminal, the terminal rate limit value may be carried, so that the network side may perform scheduling configuration on the terminal in a targeted manner, so as to achieve the purpose of temporarily limiting the terminal capability, and at the same time, guarantee the real-time requirement and user experience of some services, and avoid that the services cannot be performed normally due to the unrestricted reduction of the data rate. In addition, the embodiment of the invention can respectively limit or recover the capacity of a plurality of frequency points at the same time by carrying the frequency points with the capacity to be limited/recovered and using the corresponding bitmap, thereby saving the air interface overhead. In addition, the network side can request the terminal side to send a capability adjustment request message to acquire the current state of the terminal, so that unnecessary scheduling is avoided.
