Description
Technical Field
The embodiment of the invention relates to the technical field of paper money detection, in particular to a method and a device for detecting a serial number of paper money.
Background
The code on the paper money is also called as a crown word number, the crown word is two or three English letters printed on the paper money for marking a printing batch, and the two or three English letters are arranged and printed by a paper money printer according to a certain rule; the number is an Arabic numeral serial number printed behind the crown word and used for indicating the arrangement sequence of each banknote in the same crown word batch. The method can be used for detecting the authenticity of the paper money, and therefore has very important significance for detecting the serial number.
At present, there is a fast positioning and cutting algorithm for the serial number of the RMB, which mainly comprises: acquiring a crown word number area of the paper money; carrying out binarization processing on the crown word number area of the paper currency to obtain a binarization image of the crown word number area of the paper currency; scanning the binary image according to a preset window to obtain a row cutting position of a crown word number in the binary image; cutting the binary image according to the line cutting position to obtain a line cutting image of the binary image; determining the column cutting position of the crown word number in the row cutting image according to the row cutting image and a preset crown word number column cutting template; and cutting out the crown word number from the row cutting image according to the column cutting position.
Because the printing position of the crown word number in the RMB is stable, a small area is selected in the initial row of the positioning template, and the initial row of the template can be positioned. For the Iran coin, 100 Wanliriol is taken as an example, and because the top-right Boss-crown word number of 100 Wanyian coin is longer in character and more in noise, the character is more representative. Moreover, the crown word has large left-right fluctuation due to the printing technical problem. As shown in fig. 1A, 1B, and 1C, the coin is an iran coin with three different crown numbers. For fig. 1C, the magnetic lines may be printed at the same horizontal position as the crown word and at the same interval between characters, seriously affecting the column direction cutting. If the positioning mode of the RMB is used for calculation, the recognition rate is not ideal.

Example one
Fig. 2A is a flowchart of a method for detecting a serial number of a banknote according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method is applicable to a case of detecting a serial number of a banknote, and the method can be executed by an apparatus for detecting a serial number of a banknote according to an embodiment of the present invention, and the apparatus can be implemented in a software and/or hardware manner, and the apparatus can be integrated in a banknote validator, a banknote counter, and a deposit and withdrawal machine, or integrated in an application end of a banknote validator, or integrated in an application end of a banknote counter, or integrated in an application end of a deposit and withdrawal machine.
The application end can be a plug-in embedded in a certain client end of a currency detector, a currency counter and a deposit taking machine, or a plug-in of an operating system of the currency detector, the currency counter and the deposit taking machine, and is matched with an application program for detecting the paper overlapping in the client end or the operating system of the currency detector, the currency counter and the deposit taking machine, which are embedded in the currency detector, the currency counter and the deposit taking machine; the application end may also be an independent client end capable of detecting the paper overlapping in the banknote detector, the banknote counter, and the deposit machine, which is not limited in this embodiment.
As shown in fig. 2A, the method of this embodiment specifically includes:
s101, determining the position of the starting character and the position of the ending character of the crown word number area in the paper currency.
The embodiment of the invention is not only used for detecting the RMB crown word number area, but also suitable for detecting foreign currency crown word number areas such as Iran currency and the like.
Specifically, an initial crown word number area is obtained from the paper money; and positioning the character in the initial crown word number region in the row direction, and determining the initial row and/or the termination row of the character in the initial crown word number region to obtain the crown word number region. Taking the iran coin shown in fig. 1C as an example, the main flow of crown word number positioning and cutting is as follows:
first, a block of area of prefix size 480 x 65 is cut under the RGB sensor at 150DPI in the longitudinal direction and 200DPI resolution in the transverse direction.
200DPI is one inch and has 200 pixels. The width was calculated to be 60mm at 200/25.4 to 480/width.
150DPI is one inch and has 150 pixels. 150/25.4-65/high, high-11 mm was calculated.
Then, binarization processing is performed on the intercepted crown word number region, so as to obtain an initial crown word number region as shown in fig. 2B.
And finally, finding out proper upper and lower tangent lines by using a window scanning mode, positioning to the initial line of the crown word number, and ending the line. As shown in fig. 2C, wherein the correlation window algorithm parameters: the character height is 21.
After determining the start row and/or the end row of the crown word number region, i.e. on the basis of fig. 2C, further determining the start column and/or the end column in the crown word number region, i.e. the start character and the end character that can be located to the crown word number region.
S102, determining the positions of all characters contained in the crown word number area according to a preset template, the position of the initial character and the position of the final character.
After the position of the start character and the position of the end character of the crown word number area are determined, the start position and the end position in the template are respectively and correspondingly placed at the position of the start character and the position of the end character in the crown word number area, and then the rest positions in the template are automatically matched with the positions of the rest characters in the crown word number area.
S103, determining character boundaries of the characters according to the positions of the characters, and completing positioning of the characters.
For example, the column coordinates of each positioned character are determined according to the template, and the character boundary is found to the left or the right respectively, as shown in fig. 2D, and is the finally determined boundary position of each character.
According to the method, the positions of the initial characters and the positions of the final characters in the crown word number area in the paper money only need to be determined, the positions of the rest characters contained in the crown word number area can be determined according to the preset template, and the positioning of each character is completed.
Example two
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a method for detecting a serial number of a banknote according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The present embodiment further optimizes the step of determining the position of the start character and the position of the end character of the crown-word number region in the bill on the basis of the above-described embodiment as follows: setting the initial column coordinate range of the template according to the number of the crown word numbers contained in the paper money and/or the intervals among the characters in the crown word numbers; placing the template in the crown word number area, and determining the initial column coordinates and the final column coordinates of the template; and continuously adjusting the range of the initial column coordinate according to the character condition at the initial column coordinate and/or the final column coordinate until detecting that the position corresponding to the initial column coordinate in the template contains characters and the position corresponding to the final column coordinate contains characters, and finishing the adjustment.
Correspondingly, the method of the embodiment includes:
s201, setting a starting row coordinate range of the template according to the number of the crown word numbers contained in the paper money and/or the intervals among the characters in the crown word numbers.
S202, placing the template in the crown word number area, and determining the initial column coordinate and the final column coordinate of the template.
S203, continuously adjusting the range of the initial column coordinate according to the character condition at the initial column coordinate and/or the final column coordinate until detecting that the position corresponding to the initial column coordinate in the template contains characters and the position corresponding to the final column coordinate contains characters, and ending the adjustment.
Specifically, if it is detected that the position corresponding to the initial column coordinate in the template does not contain a character and the position corresponding to the final column coordinate contains a character, the column coordinate range is added on the basis of the initial column coordinate until it is detected that the position corresponding to the initial column coordinate contains a character;
or if the position corresponding to the initial column coordinate in the template is detected to contain the character and the position corresponding to the final column coordinate does not contain the character, subtracting a preset coordinate value on the basis of the initial column coordinate until the position corresponding to the final column coordinate contains the character;
or if the position corresponding to the initial column coordinate in the template is detected to contain characters and the position corresponding to the ending column coordinate contains characters, determining the position of the initial character and the position of the ending character in the crown word number area;
or if the position corresponding to the initial column coordinate in the template is detected not to contain characters, and the position corresponding to the final column coordinate does not contain characters, readjusting the initial column coordinate.
For example, taking the crown word number area determined in fig. 2C as an example, the starting column coordinate range of the selectable template is the template calculation minimum value in the range [ 5-70 ] of the starting column of the template, and is recorded as ialcolstart, and when the starting column of the template is ialcolstart, the character condition of the corresponding position of the starting column coordinate and the ending column coordinate is detected. If the corresponding position of the initial row coordinate is null and the corresponding position of the ending row coordinate is a character, indicating that the initial row of the template is ahead, and changing the range of the initial row of the template into [ iAllColStart + 5-70 ]; if the corresponding position of the initial row coordinate is a character and the corresponding position of the ending row coordinate is null, indicating that the initial row of the template is backward, and changing the range of the initial row of the template into [ 5-iAllColStart-5 ]; if the corresponding position of the initial row coordinate is null, the corresponding position of the termination row coordinate is null, the position is not correct, and the initial row range of the template is changed into [ iAllColStart + 5-70 ] by fine adjustment; if the corresponding position of the initial row coordinate is a character and the corresponding position of the ending row coordinate is a character, the position is reasonable, and the position of the initial character and the position of the ending character in the crown word number area can be determined. To make the cut more accurate, it is determined whether there is a separator feature in the 7 th and 14 th bits, and if true, the template start column iAllColStart coordinate is returned. During the approach, if the starting range of the template is less than 5, then it returns directly and reports an error.
S204, determining the positions of the characters contained in the crown word number area according to a preset template, the position of the initial character and the position of the final character.
Taking 100 million of the Iran coins shown in FIG. 2C as an example, the template of the Bos-Wen crown type number on the right side of the character is: {0, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 275, 300, 325, 350, 375, 400 }; the template contains 16 characters in total, the character interval is 25, i.e. 0-25 are the starting character positions, 25-50 are the positions corresponding to the second character, and … …, 375-400 are the positions corresponding to the ending character. After the start character position and the end character position of the crown character number area are determined, the start character position of the template, namely 0-25, is placed at the start character position of the crown character number area, and the position 375 and 400 corresponding to the end character is placed at the end character position of the crown character number area, then 25-50, 50-75, 75-100, 100 and 125, … …, 350 and 375 automatically correspond to the positions of the rest characters in the crown character number area, thereby positioning all the character areas in the crown character number area.
And S205, respectively determining the character boundary of each character according to the position of each character, and completing the positioning of each character.
According to the method, the positions of the initial characters and the positions of the final characters in the crown word number area in the paper money only need to be determined, the positions of the rest characters contained in the crown word number area can be determined according to the preset template, and the positioning of each character is completed.
EXAMPLE III
Fig. 4A is a flowchart of a method for detecting a serial number of a banknote according to a third embodiment of the present invention. The present embodiment further optimizes the step of determining the position of the start character and the position of the end character of the crown-word number region in the bill on the basis of the above-described embodiment as follows: setting a grid area of each character according to the number of the crown word numbers contained in the paper money and/or the intervals among the characters in the crown word numbers to form the template; placing the template in the crown word number area, and detecting whether a starting grid and an ending grid in the template contain characters; and adjusting the position of the starting grid according to the condition that the starting grid and the ending grid contain characters until the starting grid in the template contains the characters and the ending grid contains the characters, and ending the adjustment.

S302, placing the template in the crown word number area, and detecting whether the starting grid and the ending grid in the template contain characters.
S303, adjusting the position of the starting grid according to the condition that the starting grid and the ending grid contain characters until the starting grid in the template contains the characters and the ending grid contains the characters, and ending the adjustment.
Specifically, if it is detected that the starting grid in the template does not contain characters and the ending grid contains characters, the template is moved towards the ending grid until it is detected that the starting grid contains characters; or if detecting that the starting grid in the template contains characters and the ending grid does not contain characters, moving the template towards the starting grid until the ending grid contains characters; or if the starting grid in the template is detected not to contain characters and the ending grid in the template does not contain characters, readjusting the template. Or, if the initial grid in the template contains characters and the ending grid also contains characters, determining the position of the initial character and the position of the ending character in the crown word number area.
S304, determining the positions of the characters contained in the crown word number area according to a preset template, the position of the initial character and the position of the final character.
Taking the iran coin 100 ten thousand shown in fig. 1C and the lattice template shown in fig. 4B as examples, after the position of the start character and the position of the end character of the crown word number region are determined, the start lattice and the end lattice of the lattice template are respectively placed at the position of the start character and the position of the end character of the crown word number region, and thus, each character in the crown word number region can be automatically positioned.
S305, determining character boundaries of the characters according to the positions of the characters, and completing the positioning of the characters.
According to the method, the positions of the initial characters and the positions of the final characters in the crown word number area in the paper money only need to be determined, the positions of the rest characters contained in the crown word number area can be determined according to the preset template, and the positioning of each character is completed.
